so today I want to talk to you about the best five golf balls for senior golfers but this is going to be my honest opinion because I’ve actually used all of these golf bows and can provide some insight in their feel and their performance and as you might expect with this channel I’m going to cut them open and I’m going to show you the inside of them so you get a bit of an extra view of what you’re going to get with this golf ball let’s get into it so coming in at number five on the list is the tailor made this is the tailor made soft response golf ball as you can see I’ve already cut it open and we’ll show you the inside in a moment now this has got a compression of 50 although Taylor made’s marketing talk say that it’s got a 35 compression core but that’s not necessarily the same as compression of the ball it’s aimed at Mid to slow swing speed so perfect for the senior golfer it also comes in yellow mat uh and different colors but the matte balls apparently spin less when they get wet so probably one to avoid the uh the price of these is less than 20 so actually it’s a really good price they do really help with bull flight trajectory so if you’re struggling to get good height on your shots then these could be a really great option when using these on the course I found them excellent with the Putter and they’re a pretty good spin control around my short game as well and inside they’re probably one of the brightest inside the center here so you can see it’s a three-piece ball and it’s got a really bright core and then the outer layer is nice and thick with a blue second layer in there so that’s actually a really cool looking golf ball that’s a tailor made soft response at number five and number four on the list is the stricken golf ball and this is the qar Tour golf ball I wasn’t sure about this at the start and I did have a video where I had to cut it open to figure out how it was made up inside the golf ball which I’ll show you in a moment it also comes in a divide colors blue and yellow and red and yellow which are really cool the compression of this is 67 so it’s one of the highest on the list it’s got a 338 dimple design which is common with stricks and golf balls and it’s got a soft Ure Fane cover as we look inside you’ll see that I was confused at the start because it’s a three-piece golf ball but what it’s got on the outside is a really thin outer layer which they call spin skin technology and it combines with it fast layer core so I found this excellent on my short game and the control was really good around the greens and it’s got excellent durability it would be higher on the list but because of the compression it means it’s not the softest golf ball on the list so maybe not ideal for people with slower swing speeds and that comes in at number four and that’s the stricken qar tour at number three on the list is a golf ball that I’ve not actually cut open yet and this is the Wilson Staff and it is the Juro soft golf ball so they say that it’s got compression of 40 but my golf spy say it’s got compression of closer to 46 uh it’s apparently the world’s softest golf ball according to Wilson Staff it’s really similar to the Callaway Supersoft but it is actually one of the softest golf balls tested by my golf spy in 2023 so perfect for golfers with a slower swing speed particularly on this list of the best golf balls for senior golfers it’s got 302 dimples so which is one of the lowest amount of dimples it’s got on the list it’s a two layer golf ball which we’ll see in a moment so let’s have a little look inside and see what the makeup of this ball is inside so there we go so bright white inside you can see it is a two-piece golf ball with an Isa cover and that is a really cool looking ball inside now I did find that it was um it wasn’t great around the greens and I did struggle with the spin off the greens however on the longer game I I found no problems at all and actually really enjoyed playing this golf ball it’s got a low spin with the driver which is perfect for golfers with slower swing speeds and particularly beginner golfers as well if you’re if you’re new to the game have you this is the 14th generation of this golf ball it’s a great price and it’s one of strix’s most popular golf balls it’s got compression of 60 with 338 dimples they say it’s got a speed dimple pattern as you can see I’ve used this I really like this ball when I first started playing this was one of my go-to balls and I found it really high performing I’ve recently used it to test it out for today’s list and again I found it really good particularly on my short game and around the greens so when we have a look inside you’ll see is a two-piece golf ball they call this a fast layer core and actually it feels really smooth inside it’s designed to help with high launch and offers mid Spin and it’s perfect for senior golfers I found it really good for distance off the te and it’s also available in different colors in the winter I do like the yellow and that’s number two that’s the stricken soft field golf ball and at number one is the old fateful it’s the Callaway and it’s the Callaway super soft golf ball it’s one of the best selling golf balls in Callaway’s range and it feels really soft it’s great for an all around golfer and it’s perfect to have good short game control without compromising on your distance the compression of the ball is roughly 47 which is really similar to the Wilson dros soft it’s got 332 dimples and it’s got a two-piece ionac cover and inside you can see that 2piece makeup that’s a really smooth looking inside and I think it’s perfect this is the hyper elastic super fast core I’m sure you’ve played this golf ball but if you have give me a
