plenty of breaking news here on tital football this Friday afternoon from a club who are trying to get into the Premier League to a club that who might not be in it next season and a fascinating appointment when it was made of Mark clattenburg to be a consultant to the boards at the city ground especially as far as refereeing Matan said but now clattenburg has resigned from his role admitting it become more than a hindrance than a help to Nottingham Forest this is what he said in a statement this is to announce that I will no longer be providing match analysis services to nosan Forest Football Club since February this year I’ve been proud to have done so under a consultancy agreement between nosin forest and referee Consultants limited and he goes on I perform my services under the consultancy agreement in good faith to the best of my abilities and in the hope of using my extensive experience as a match official to help nosin Forest under understand how decisions in relation to key match incidents are made amid the workings of V however it is now clear that the existence and performance of these consultancy Services has caused unintended friction between Osan forest and other participants to the extent that it has become more of a hindrance than a help to noham Forest it has also led to the unmerited targeting of me personally by certain participants and pundits such reactions and outcome was not expected and is regrettable and it is in my sincere belief that there is a place for and value in such a role in the modern game I’m grateful to Forest and wish them all the best during the remainder of the season and in the future it’s been an honor so that’s the view from Mark clator who is no longer operating in this consultancy role with Nottingham Forest he has resigned from his post and as far as Forest are concerned they’re one place and one point above the Rel Zone and for them this weekend it is a visit to already relegated sheff United plenty more to come here on Total Football [Music]

  1. Righty so he’s got ex mates who still referee in the League he shouldn’t be allowed near a club

  2. Excellent works by Sky Sports and its hired mafia goons to hound and bully a man out of his job.

    What was that about 'class'?

  3. I see that the FA has charged various Forest people with 'bringing the game into disrepute. PLEASE Forest, PLEASE ask the FA to charge PGMOL/VAR with 'bringing the game into disrepute' after some of the shameful decisions affecting multiple clubs this year…..

  4. If the decisions given against Forest were correct, then his services and assistance would have been worthwhile. But when so may have been incorrect, then his role becomes pointless because he is not able to help us understand how incorrect decisions have been made

  5. Clattenburg should have been investigated for match fixing and most likely banned from football for his comments about his battle of the bridge 'gameplan'. It makes you wonder how many other games he refereed with that mindset and purposely didn't do his job. The guy seems to have no integrity, highlighted by him running off for Saudi cash not long after that, along with this latest cash grab at Forest.

  6. Wouldn't missed Neville if we don't see him on TV again. Becareful Neville, not to choke on your dumb booth pantry mic.

  7. Maybe every country in uefa should hire foreign refs …way too many strange decisions affecting lots of clubs

  8. Respect to Mark for that statement after the unjust refereeing in the away match at Everton. 3 pens denied, granted, certainly not all 3 would have been given by any ref/var team, but surely at least 1 of them (one on Odoi) was as clear a penalty as day.

  9. Not a Forest fan and i didn't agree with the appointment in the 1st but let's be real , He has left because he's literally been driven out, targetted and bullied by the media and certain pundits aka mr neville! Makes a mockery of all the PLs 'be nice' campaigns doesn't it.
