just both both these pitchers pitching to a lot of contact that they’re both you know not the fastest pitchers in the world but I think it’s a lot of times what hold uh leads the Little League hitters to kind of lay off pitches more more often than not if they’re you know in the strike zone first pitch to Harvey misses from Lowry for a ball one think might have been tipped into the glove either way it’s a strike the count now one and one one-1 inside almost hits Harvey’s feet he had to step out of the way count now two and one Lowry gets the call from his catcher Lucas Jordan 2-1 swing and a miss for strike two to Harvey count now two and two 22 outside for ball three so another Full Count here in the bottom of the third three 32 popped up and at of play so we reset that came straight back off the fence another payoff pitch for Lowry misses low for ball four first walk we’ve seen today Harvey’s at first with one out here in the bottom of the third that’s the first walk on both sides yeah most of these pitcher these hitters have not been taking nearly enough pitches to get there to three ball counts oh and on the pitch runner at first Harvey steal second throw from Jordan not in time so it’s ball one to see the extra hit her up to [Music] bat he fouls off the next pitch count now one and one we haven’t seen much of morfield getting a runner into scoring position yet is this the first one first to second yeah other than the home run right right this a soft grounder down the third Baseline and off the hand of Jake glowry the pitcher tried to Bare hand it and couldn’t do so I think still rule that a infield single yeah tough play for low over at first yeah he’s frustrated with himself but I think even if he picks up the ball cleanly and throws it over to first it’s probably not in time that was a good swinging bunt by C so Runners on the corners now here in the bottom of the third for morfield a Trail Jefferson 3-1 with one out in the bottom of the third bottom of the lineup up the bat it’s Constable against Lowry the first pitch is ball one [Music] one called strike one on the outside part of the plate so here we go first big test for for Lowry when it comes to getting out of a jam possible squares to Bunch it straight back up towards the pitcher throw to first just in time for an out the Runner comes home to score to make it 3-2 smic over at first now able to extend out and get that one for out number two it’s pretty perfectly executed the runner from third didn’t come home until Lowry made the throw over to first which maybe Lowry should have held on to it made a play a throw over to third but you at least get the second out you still have the lead now Flynn up the bat with two outs one run ball game runner at second first pitch is a ball from Lowry is the 1 it’s a highfly ball into left center field diving forward is Dupri and he can’t make the catch it hits the fence the tying run comes home to score and Flynn has himself a triple there was Watts’s pitching yesterday the the lineup today and Flyn pitch really well I I think you know some of those a lot of those runs maybe unearned in the end some defensive mistakes but overall their defense was really good for as many balls that were put in the play by Jefferson I think that was a overall pretty good defensive performance for a little league team at the very least so credit to them Jefferson they had a great run uh they were a really fun team to watch here just I think you know to to a certain extent ran out of ran out of some pitching but I think to a bigger extent they just kind of had their pitchers lose their confidence a little too quickly when things started to to go a little bit of Ry so it is what it is you know only only two of these teams go through the state tournament they’re all really good teams so they should hang their hats on that I think you focus on that these are all a lot of really good baseball players here and sometimes you just have an off day sometimes you run into a team that’s better than you it happens you know you can’t win them all as they say so we’ll keep things here and head into our postgame show quickly which is brought
