all right guys it’s Rick Shields I’m here at sent and old links with one club and I’m going to film today some epic mini battle some battle golf against some contestants from professional golfers professional sports people musicians TV stars it’s going to be amazing now the concept is simple it’s me versus them over three holes each individual video and we’re going to throw in a little bit of little bit of twist little bit of different types of golf there’s going to be some forfeits as well so stay tuned for this exclusive content with one [Music] club right then Challengers I’ve got three T’s a long a medium and a short Okay so believe it or not the short that’s the shortest longest or not I don’t know unless that’s really long it’s a first like a medium second Challenger third Challenger let battle commence James Robinson two-time europro winner in his very successful playing career holding a European tour card in 2016 and playing in the open at Cari 2018 he’s now a fantastic golf coach if you’re looking to get a lesson off him you’ll definitely improve it’s James Robinson all right and James first competitor in Rick battle golf I’m excited the challenge is simple three holes here at sentan old links your home course let me just add um where we choose three clubs each if you lose a hole you lose a club y and the winner of that hog get to choose what club you lose okay okay um and then there’s going to be a forfeit at the end what is it I I know how much you love your exercise and you love push-ups the forit is 20 push-ups for the loser oh easy py now I think you’re safe cat this is the first of many many challenges make sure you check every single one of them out James Robinson is a phenomenal golfer played in the open 2018 at caras it’s going to be a hell of a challenge three clubs I’m going to go driver y I’m going to go Gat wedge yeah and going go putter I think I’m going to do the same I’m going to go driver 52 and putter let battle commence can’t wait good luck so this is James’s marker for when he played in the open yep should decide who goes first which which side would you like I’m going to have the open side okay I’ll go blank side then okay I think it’s only fair blank side uh you can go first okay go on then James let’s give it a rip power four straight down there driver in hand black pool Tower with draw yeah great ball tiny bit left the sand a up brilliantly looks about flag eye left of the green shot got to try and avoid those bunkers pushed it a touch tiny bit right should be okay oh it’s a good strike as well pushed it nice high ball flight was [Music] it yours was it’ll be in that stuff there okay found it up the right hand side not a terrible hit just in this little bit of rough here I would love more Loft I would love a sand wedge or a lob wedge but obviously my club Choice was a gat wedge just land it off the green let it roll down just want to give myself a putting opportunity for birdie James in a great spot after his t- shot he’s very lightly to get up and down from there oh Rick got stuck in the ground didn’t H it hard enough oh that was a mistake tried to be too delicate with it oh might be giving you this old James that’s it tough shot from there mate with that club a that’s my club choice I feel so I’ve actually got the perfect Club I’ve got 52° but a decent t- shot here left of the green it yeah that up mate bit hard not too bad okay this is for a long range bogey put now which is a shame fluff those couple of chips yeah take it out please take it out oh it’s a disappointing six a lucky mate good win thank you whole one with a PA oh should have put more of a competition up there we’ll find out on the next te which club you’re going to choose right and James which uh which weapon you going to choose be kind I’m going to make it interesting I’m going to give you a chance I’m going to take your gap wedge to be honest after the last ho you can have it you can have it for good we sign it right next H is a power four it’s actually somewhat similar length to the last hole but less bunkers um James in the driving seat one up through one 330 to the flag James I’m not sure if I’ve uh I’ve got driving a wed think well driver a putter for me whatever happens it’s a really good drive o tiny bit left but pounded it oh I might Ki in the bunker should be past that I think actually thinking about it it’s just DED on me I cannot find a bunker can I no this has to be down theway it’ll be interesting watch you get out oh my goodness this has to be the straightest Drive ever in my life bomb it Miss Everything drawing off the bunker miss everything kick and hop and Skip that’s a great shot oh needed it a good putter or a little chippy driver I’ve got two choices here I’m about 50 yard short of the flag and I’ve got a putter or a driver now in the summer if everywhere was burnt out I’d put it probably most of the time anyway I think today it’s too it’s a little bit too wet I’m going to have to chip a driver which to be fair compared to the way I chip my wedge on the last though this might not be a bad strategy sit down no sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit down the green it’s down the green not too bad it’s a good effort had a bit too much Club okay so I’ve missed the Fairway just left but I’m in a good spot I’ve got 64 yards and I’ve got my 52 I’d probably use 58 but this is uh this is not a bad Club certainly a better Club Choice than driver oh straight at it very suckt bounce not the best that’s made it interesting should have been a bit more aggressive on that this might be my only Flex of the day James but I actually I managed to get it closer with my driver I had a really bad line roof there mate whatever whatever yeah I’m pretty embarrassed about that best part of 25 30 ft here oh wow before it came out oh James that was four what I got there W right okay for bird in to win the hole a very unlikely birdi in to win the hole let’s make it interesting down down the last hole what good it’s a great P it’s good for Speed it is I would like to have box that just to pick that up pressure is on now in for four driver driver putter putter this is a big po this is huge James needs to hold this or otherwise I’m getting might be getting my wedge pack [Laughter] I shouldn’t be cheering that but I’m so thankful oh my God I might not be quite as kind with my club Choice from James I’m not going to get my wedge back I’m not I’m going to steal one from you oh no okay the power is now in my hands um I was contemplating do I take my club back my wedge but no you can actually keep it forever James James James we’ve got now a par 4 playing 390 yards let me do it this way okay you can keep your footer well I’ve had a lot of shots of that already and you can keep your oh wedge I’m taking your drive no so this is going to be interesting I’ve now only got a driver and a putter James has only got a gap wedge and a putter let B commment let battle come on this this is going to be this is important this one right come on driver find me that Fairway no Rick no bit left it’s the better side out the two to miss ah I tried to steer it I tried to guide it down the Fairway interesting from there just let should have just let loose I’m still able to reach the green where James on the other hand I’m not able to reach the Fairway come on back foot draw get as much out of it as we can strike that’s a really good strike get to the Fairway nope and that might be the nicest D that they get taken out of this hole oh yeah nobody nobody hits off this thing oh definitely don’t not wedges you know what in hindsight James we really chose the wrong Club this challenge neither of the neither of us thought we were going to lose we’ve chosen clubs of how we’re going to play these next three holes as efficiently as possible we left such a big gap between drive and Gat wedge we never thought about losing a club driver and seven would have been dri and seven iron three iron and eight iron or something like that would have been a better combination definitely boo boo we didn’t think made it interesting early in the morning do you I mean right I have 247 yards left okay so I think I still un confident you’ll get there with two shots yeah I need two good ones two good ones for here hopefully get a little flyer out the roof what we need another good one yeah good shot nice layup that’s all you can do this isn’t good bricks could be interesed driver from there why do I feel like I have more chance than my putter I’m in a tricky spot because if I have gone 10 yards further left I would have been on that lovely flat section and actually driver would have been fine I found myself in one of these kind of uh almost grass bunkers and I’ve got a big hill in my way a little bit of Maintenance work in my way and then the flag for some reason Reon I’m really really really thinking about my foter I need speed I need to hit it hard to get it high if I hit my driver all I can see it doing is going straight in the bank now if I hit my putter as hard as I can by the way it’s a brand new putter hard as I can I feel like at least it’s going to launch off the slope [Music] I was so confident about that as well I think both clubs would have done the same thing in all in all honesty I was so confident I could got that up anyway it’s finished on that maintenance Hill I can take a drop from there free drop off the maintenance ground okay this is a slightly easiest shot now we’re actually me and James are Level I have it drive a put James is at Gat wedge Gat wedge and we level how far are you 1 two two you’re perfect damn that’s hard okay I’ve got to run it up there with driver to try and get lucky it’s not a bad try if it was drier that would have had a chance oh feel like James is really in the driving seat now okay so third shot I’ve got 122 yards here which is pretty much a perfect gap wedge so definitely just need a full one straight at it oh th it try to hammer that sit down it’s all right a little bit past the flag not too bad bit of a skinny one I need to get up and down from here now driver or putter I’m about 30 yard short of the green um I feel like I’ve got a better chance of getting up and down with putter it’s going to take a big hard hit cuz the grass is wet if this was again if this was summer i’ probably put from here anyway I’ve just got to give it a real good hit up over the hill my goal is to get it past the flag really good this could be really good go on go could have hit it any harder bang online wasn’t it I couldn’t have hit it any harder oh that’s a shame my goal was to try and get it past the flag but I honestly couldn’t hit that much harder right James this is for the win this is to go one n up in the series let’s do it for par which would be to be honest with you an incredible par considering you’ve hit Gat wedge gap wedge Gat wedge than a putter all right it’s a really good effort it’s an easy five is good yeah it’s good mate right put the pressure on you mate I’ve got this for the half after what I felt like I was in the driving seat I then let go of the steering wheel and made a very Reckless decision and need to go down to a a tie breaker all the way that was such a good P that just moveed right at the end yeah look at that look at that wait for it it wait that might that might drop James I think just needs a helping finger I think I can see it I think I can see it moving what is what is that over there James aort oh so close so close oh never mind right hell of a challenge I mean I messed up on the first hole and made a few Reckless decisions there on the last but James is always going to be hard to beat 20 press UPS now I’m not on the green I’ll do it over there [Music] okay this is the four F 20 press UPS let’s go one two three 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 a you’re good at those
