well some big news popped up for us the last uh few minutes I’m going to work on this thing here fix that there we go hey Showtime La is in the house so James alman’s coming is back we do know that and we do know that um Justin roesy is supposed to get a spot start on Sunday and then there’s some other details that have come up related to outman coming up and migy migy Vargas taking ground balls at third all those types of things so let’s get right to it um let’s see moving stuff around some more in my the way things are so okay there’s the roesy news from Fabian Aria um we see that you know James Alman is up Jason H Jason Hayward is had an MRI it sounds like it’s fine but who knows he is on the ilil um everything’s in miniscus and ligaments Inta intact but it’s a good excuse to get J Jason some downtime and get um Mr uh Mr outman back up belonging the team there’s also the little thing Nick Ramirez went down Gus varland is back up now here’s here’s some really cool stuff James Alman will play some center field against righties Dave Robert said okay we know that Andy pz will still play every day just will play both center field and right field and Miguel Vargas will log some more playing time in left field in spots Dave Robert said so alman’s not going to play against all righties they’re going to start working Miguel Vargas in there let’s see what else is going on as we go here um let’s see so yeah we’re we are I’m pretty pretty darn stoked about what I’m seeing um of course they they said that Vargas took like 10 ground balls at at uh third base it’s a it’s that’s probably that’s a nothing burger for now but you never know you never know um I would hope that he’ be getting some reps at second base yeah um so H great question about you know what why Ro BL up for Ryan U because he’s healthier he’s more stretched out that’s what it is um yeah I did see your DM I’m trying to figure that one out because I what I don’t want to do is you know throw some players out and and so I need to do that in a politically correct way so I don’t burn my reputation burn my uh Bridges with players um yeah River Ryan got to be coming soon right let’s hope so my goodness let’s stop playing around um yeah who would have thought Robo would have been called it before Ryan but yeah that was the beginning of the year right and then Ryan gets hurt and now we we have a a new pitcher that’s Justin roesy I but I did tell tell you guys I expected to see him but just not this Sunday and hey you know if you if you’re the praying type I applied for a press pass on Sunday I would really like to come roesy start I I you know I met him in ranch I really don’t know him he might you know well at all but he you know I we’ve been following him for years so I met him in 22 he came up just recovering from his Tommy John things like that why don’t we take a look at roesy um from a statistical point of You Justin and it’s like not I always wanted to call him Rob oesi it’s robe lesi MB and of course you know Gus of arand probably be the one that goes right back down it depends depends on these games so so far this year 15 games 78 Innings that’s you know he’s he’s he’s stretched out 79 K 1.08 whip um let’s see let’s go to uh go to his career stat so you can see came up to Ranch up I never even saw him pitch at Rancho I missed him but um I met him yeah and so you can see last year at Great Lakes 2.90 ER again a little bit baby with 25 25 Innings or 25 games 23 gam started 102 Innings with 109 strikeouts the walks see the walks this guy is not your normal minor league pitcher he doesn’t walk a bunch of guys so there’s a difference there um yeah he was drafted with Tommy John surgery still 23 years old let’s see if we can do baseball Savant Justin I know uh Casey’s had some numbers I think he had them pretty high too I don’t know Casey if you’re out there or um or Austin if you’re out there with some information on Mr Ro let’s take a quick look we’re not getting anything from him let’s see standard visuals do we have any visuals um let’s [Laughter] see oh let’s go to pitching what do you got there come on folks give us something um yeah we got nothing on on from from the Savant perspective um yeah the visuals still suck that’s all right um so hey just wanted to come on here quick see if there’s anyone want to chat about that what I expect from Robo Dodge shouldn’t be drafting pitching yeah the and of course the issue with pitch in is they they break and so why waste all that money no I’m I he I’m I’m totally with you let’s get them let’s get those high school players Ryan R only trust glass and he was terrible last game yeah they need to get more starting pitching for sure I’m not going to say Ro Les is going be starting any playoff games that’d be wonderful if he comes up and and dominates um I think he’s going to be he might be solid I know they’re saying spot start I I hate it when they say hey let him just earn it let him just freaking earn it right now no one’s earning anything in this rotation I mean Stone’s had one bad one glas now’s had a bad one um and GL you know big big nighte for glas now tonight against Milwaukee let’s stop this little two- game losing streak and just the case of the blah um how bad is hos his injury I don’t know honest to goodness I’m just hoping it’s maybe a little irritation from what he had before I believe it was a leg injury um he was out remember if you can remember a few days in Rancho um some notes showtime in la la and I were going back and forth so Dodgers Nation did have an article about um zier hope uh it is a shoulder surgery I that’s it’s a shoulder s shoulder injury not a surgery I didn’t say sorry shoulder injury injury injury um look for him to be back by the end what let’s take a look cuz I you know people say oh he was terrible at second base I’m going to start pulling it up um fan graphs 2023 defense Miguel Vargas see what we batting game logs game logs um second baseman here we go let’s see what we can see here maybe he was terrible maybe but I just don’t remember him being terrible or terrible all right so we got 2023 we’re going to go second base minimum play appearances he had about two to 300 so let’s go to 250 so we can filter some things out submit that all right wait whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa that’s 2003 to 20 2023 do better Rogers all right let’s try this again and hope does have a lot of potential there’s such a great athlete oh my goodness Wow Let’s see well that’s the defense offense how about some defense offense what do you want until mooki bets comes back because we know when mookie bets comes back he’s going to second base um I don’t know if they’re going to cut bigio yet I mean they should well that needs to happen anyway let’s be honest um hopefully they’re working on something to get a to get a an upgrade not have to worry about bringing other guys up because they just don’t have any any depth right now in the organization in the infield thing so if they cut bigio then they’re short they’re short a uh an offense a player I mean a player player not a pitcher M’s offense y I don’t say defense is overrated i’ definitely factor that in Lux has played some good defense but come on we need to get those sticks going let’s speaking of that let’s take a look at how well Gavin Lux has done at second base I got a feeling he’s probably up there I think he’s been really good he’s he had a like a throw or two at the the beginning of the season is kind of gross G’s 14th but you know I mean got a four DRS that’s pretty good Jonathan India the guy he had that he’s so overrated Marcus seon what a player Man Two by The dodg didn’t sign semian and Cory Seager just saying who could we get Marte is not coming anywhere I don’t know well we need offense we need offense yep so we got got guys saying offense oh yandre is coming I think so here’s what I’m hoping for that when you know the rookies come in and everything like that some guys going to get promoted and so I expect um guys like uh Gerald Perez and Wilman Diaz are going up um maybe mlan he’s still just not he just needs that teams will be fooled by Carta St padding in OKC well hopefully but at the same time it’s a it’s a big difference though it’s a huge huge difference in in what he’s been doing so yeah I understand the whole I get the stat padding it does I understand what you’re saying but there there was a marked difference also with with the Drillers but let’s look let’s take a look I think it’s it’s a fair thing yeah let’s so if you look at 56 K in 161 at bats at Tulsa but that is remember that was a ter terrible start and now sixks and 28 at bats so the ratio is better that’s a good thing yeah Ryan Ward but he’s he’s they just Ryan Ward fits into the hunter fedua um probably Cody hosy um what’s it guy Drew avens they fit in that that mold they just don’t they’re just not fan and they’re not going to but you have sometimes you do need to take them down you got to you got to come in some high and tight and make sure that he knows that he can’t sit there and just dig in it’s insane absolutely insane oh no oh this is bad news all right Chicago reliever yansy ommani former Dodger is electing to go shoulder Soldier shoulder surgery and is expected to miss the remainder of the season I’m a big fan of yansy yeah I like him he’s a he’s a again a nice human it’s beyond those types of things so that’s a bummer all right well on that note I’m going end it I’m hungry time to eat got to figure out what
