Lakers it includes a player option and no trade clause how do you guys feel about him taking the Max Steel obviously he is LeBron James but I want to know what you guys think about that um I mean this is LeBron James he’s he’s he’s worth every dime that he requests um clutch Sports knows that shout out to Rich Paul and and that whole that whole brand that whole company that whole family and the James family it just seemed like it’s a a phenomenal year for them you know with with bronnie being picked with bronnie getting his thing going and with um LeBron being able to consistently do what he’s already done um he’s had it says it says that LeBron last year was averaging 257 and8 right so at 40 years old to be averaging almost a triple double in the league you got to take your hat off of that so you know I want to make sure I put that respect on his name because a lot of times when I’m talking I’m giving objective views just for commentary but you got to put that respect on his name If he if he wants to no trade clause they got to give it to them it ain’t like they could give it to anyone else um I think this is this is basketball Excellence you know up there with the best I wouldn’t say at his best but up there with the best this is this is as good is it going to get in this generation until somebody new come with that work ethic he’s he’s done a phenomenal job with what he’s done every step of the way whether it was his image whether it was pursuing greatness whether it was trying to win every year he he’s done a lot for the game so if if they they couldn’t have paid him enough money I don’t think um 53 is enough and it’s comparable cuz I’m looking at the other people that’s getting that same 51.5 or somewhere in there he LeBron should make more money than everybody until somebody prove that they’re better than him that’s how I believe so the way my mind works it works when it works for you and it works when works against you so today it works in his favor oh yeah listen man everybody know LeBron was going to get the money it isn’t like it’s a secret uh the Lakers are running a mom and pop shop over there that’s what they doing you know that’s a good way to look at family business yes Mom and Pop you know I I had seen um shout out to my hom girl trist I seen her talk about this a while Al ago and it’s very family orientated at the Lakers but what I I she made a great point is uh you know when you want to spend money and go into the luxury tax she didn’t get this in debt with it but uh the Lakers might you know they’re not as rich as Steve balma everybody else all these all other organizations a lot of owners this what she said actually was talking about a lot of owners have other businesses that make them billionaires jeie busting them just basketball dependent on the Lakers yeah to make a turnaround and very family orientated we always talked about not always I mean the last couple weeks we talk about nepotism because of LeBron James and his son and so on and so forth jeie bus is a direct Descent of nepotism father started the Lakers handed it down to to her and her brothers like they’re doing the same [ __ ] I’m not mad at it though I’m actually saluting it to give props to it um so it family business is always a good business that’s not true sometime you can’t do business with family not going to act like that’s always 40 like sh yeah so we always you know run the Kobe Bryant run the LeBron James run the Michael joyan and I feel why Kareem is really upset like yo [ __ ] be acting crazy like my [ __ ] I wasn’t out here doing this at 4900 years old my [ __ ] and on every level right exactly but especially as we all know like right now for the last year and a half at least LeBron’s going to be 38 he’s going to be Nate MC million excuse me and Scott Brooks as top assistant coaches on JJ reck’s new staff do you guys think that this is enough to help JJ ertic or are you assuming it’ll be a rough year or you think it’ll go pretty smoothly you don’t know who Nate McMillan is I do I just oh buter than the last name I was about to say that’s the that’s the Super Sonic snate McMillan um this is actually a great a great um two people to add um when you think of Scott Brooks right he did a phenomenal job out there in OKC when when when Russell Westbrook was young um James Harden coming off the bench and and even with KD he did a lot with grooming them into Stars so he definitely has the understanding of how to deal with young talent and and how to get young talent to win so he definitely have that cache and when you think of Nate McMillan and there’s so many other things I could say about Scott Brooks he also did well at in DC when he was coaching um the Wizards and and John Wall and them getting them to make it to the postseason um several years back to back so he’s definitely a guy that that can get um a lot of things out of players and when you ask somebody like Nate McMillan I remember cuz I was living in in Atlanta when he came down to Atlanta and he took over that team he took Atlanta to the playoffs I think they beat Milwaukee or something like that he we we was thinking Trey young was the next something we didn’t know what it was but he had that te team looking alive and then the very next year he ran into some player problems with with one of the players and he had to get out get released so he’s always been a good player player coach and able even though that went bad he’s able to get the maximum out of the talent and I think when you bring that kind of um history and put that with JJ reck it give him a lot of different eyes and a lot of different op for him to see things from different views because the way he may think is one way and having them around and have him you know very balance and that’s what he’s going to need as a young coach not that I would know but that’s what I would assume yeah uh Nate McMillan wasn’t coaching the sonics when Kevin Durant was there I’ll just say that but great add-on absolutely besides that everything else you said was pretty good no I mean he played he played with this super who Nate mcmiller yeah yeah I thought you meant when he coached cuz you said Kevin Durant cuz he did Coach the SuperSonics too he no I was talking about Scott Brooks oh okay yeah yes because uh Nate McMillan uh definitely coached the super he was an assistant coach and he was a head coach with the superponics as well and I was going to bring that point up as well when he was in Atlanta uh he I think he was an intern coach yeah then they kept him cuz he did a really good job uh look when you got somebody with a great mind like Nate McMillan not just as a player I mean part me not just as a coach as a player that makes a difference so sometime people respect the coaches that are players also um we’ll see what happens Scott Brooks definitely another great basketball M high IQ everybody’s hiring his former players and former coaches uh seems like he’s loading up a good staff and he’s going to need that expertise or that experience being that JJ reck has no experience so to Bringing people with that experience uh it says a lot the thing about it is we’ll wait and see if he accepts guidance from them or I don’t know if that’s the right word or advice because they’ll say we’ve been here yeah exactly pause even though they’ve been coaching for a while sometime [ __ ] be like yeah but did y’all win I’m trying to win you [ __ ] start throwing that around I dig it when you had your turn but did you win all that’s in play because you already had Zion you already had Ingram if they could be healthy that is a that is a dangerous team with Murray just that just that perimeter right there is dangerous you know um the Pelicans I think they did the best with free agency and I and so I would score Pelicans one um MAV second and San Antonio third I think everybody else is just jumping from Team to team but it’s not is Dallas getting Klay Thompson and third is Murray um going to New Orleans those are my top three players now the top three situations may be a little bit different my top three situations first of the New York Knicks because signing resigning OG it gets to keep the chemistry together that they have um he even though he got there halfway through the season last night it’s just like it it fit like a glove I mean last night last season it’s like it fit like a glove it’s like he been there like he knew them so to me that’s the number one situation the second Situation Number Two is the Dallas Mavericks because we seen them have have trouble shooting and I’m not talking about PJ Washington when he was open not talking about Luca Kyrie when they were open or had great situations they don’t have a sniper sniper PJ Wason was decent but he’s no Klay Thompson and this could definitely open the floor up for Kyrie and Luca even more even though half the time you don’t even need to open the floor for Kyrie um but I think that’s the second best situation and lastly uh the New Orleans Pelicans uh I’m on a record saying this not just with without Murray if they’re healthy they’re a top four five seed in the Western Conference when healthy we haven’t seen a healthy season from Zion Ingram been injured as of late uh there no consistency and those two players have to be there if they’re going to make any noise but uh I definitely are looking forward to CJ McCulla and devant Devonte sorry no disre Murray um in the back court that should be really really exciting we had got to see a lot of great years with CJ McCulla and Dame Lillet uh they didn’t get over the hump but CJ still has a lot of basketball left in them and we see what U Murray does when he’s able to do it um I’m excited so those are top three situations the next uh Dallas and then New Orleans then the top three players are Paul George Klay Thompson and then Mari that was a great analysis and then mace I got to get a definitive answer from you so what do you think was the best player available then now what do you think is going to be the best situation just to compare I’m curious the best player available that wasn’t yeah was was um Paul George Paul George was the best player available um um the situation is going to be one of those two um but if if if if DeMar rosen can get to the Milwaukee that would be the best situation or if Bruce Brown can make his way back to Denver that would be the best situation so it’s or dear D Roa could get to Denver yeah anybody get to Denver is the best
