Erin uh second week in a row is there a did you come here with a maybe a sense of Unfinished Business from last week or did you just come in here thinking I’m playing really well and I’ve got a opportunity to to build on that yeah exactly more so the latter um I think it’s very difficult to try and force great weeks I think a lot of those just happen as a result of playing good golf and doing the right things and just trying to roll with um the momentum so um yeah felt in a really good place into this week and just tried to approach it in the same way from Monday to Wednesday and uh obviously played some really good golf over the last three days to put us in this position does your experience in the final group last week make a difference do you think uh can you build on that what can you take um I guess we’ll find out tomorrow um I think it’s it’s been really good being in this position for Saturday and Sunday of last week and also today’s round being in the final group so um those was a great experience to take into tomorrow but at the same time it’s it’s a completely different day it’ll provide a different test and uh um we’ll see how it goes you feel about the round to overall would you like yeah pleased with it overall I think finishing off pretty well over those last few holes has definitely made it feel a little bit better um started off really well too uh was a little bit hit and miss in the middle section but really pleased with finishing off well and kind of recovering a good solid score today can you pinpoint over the last couple of weeks what you’ve found to put yourself in this position now two straight weeks in a row yeah um I think T to Green the game has been pretty solid for quite a while now for most of this season um started to putt really well over the last couple of weeks I think that’s probably made the biggest difference inside of the game um I feel in a pretty good place off the golf course as well so um yeah it’s definitely translating into my performances us couple weeks final group on Sunday is a position a lot of people wish they’d be in and you twice in a row just how excited are you for for another opportunity yeah looking forward to it um after weeks like last week you never quite know when you’re going to have that opportunity next if you’re going to have that opportunity next so it’s great to have that the following week um really enjoy the golf course and it’s in great shape feel in a pretty good place with the game so um yeah it’s just it’s good to have that chance tomorrow you mentioned it yourself that you’ve been having one uh you quietly been having a very good statistical season one of the best on tour um uh just what would a win uh do for you as far as validating what you’ve the work you’ve been putting in and what you’ve been doing this season yeah it’s a great question I think winning at any level is is an amazing accomplishment um the PGA Tour is a pinnacle of golf so competing against the best players week in week out so that’s extremely validating in itself even being in this position to have a chance to win um I think the game feels in a good place um this is my third year out on tour and obviously success breeds confidence but at the same time I feel like I’m in I’m in a good place um with what I’ve learned over the last couple of years my game feels good so I think regardless of what happens tomorrow there’ll be so many things to take forwards Beyond this week can you talk about uh the change you made in the putting coach you went to what his name is and and um and what without getting overly technical what you changed that that that is working so well yeah so I recently started working with John Graham um just at the start of last week um didn’t really make any technical changes I’ve kind of gone down the route of becoming a little bit too technical I would say over the last two two and a half years or so so in the couple of sessions that we had at the start of last week it was about getting away from the technique and just more into the reads of the putts getting a little bit more in tune with the visuals and seeing things a little bit clearly and really using speed to kind of dictate line a little bit more rather than focusing a little bit too much on line and then fitting the speed to the line so um that’s being the main thing really Aon those two exemptions for the Open Championship still up for grabs tomorrow as well being an Englishmen having played in an open before uh how much are you going to allow those two potential exemptions to uh motivating you tomorrow yeah it’s a great opportunity again uh there are a lot of great opportunities which are in tomorrow um I think there’s a lot of motivation there’s a lot to play for anyway um those two extra spots uh obviously and an amazing bonus um but again as cliche as it sounds I think as much as I can just focus on tomorrow for what it is um I’ll give myself the best possible chance and that’s all I can do really thank you is thank you
