welcome back to the channel guys today join us at F electric with Asher where I’m going to be having a golf specific EMS training session you are indeed mate you are indeed you looking forward to it I am I’m looking forward to this obviously we’ll get a little bit more you know into what this is about yeah but let’s get stuck in yeah absolutely let’s go so Asher for anyone that’s not heard at EMS Fitness how can it benefit a golfer so it’s got a range of benefits to anyone but specifically talking about golfing is going to help increase your sceletal muscle mass so your muscle mass that supports your movement across your joints your power transfer your ability to quickly hit a ball or maybe more accurately hit a ball but the most important thing for me really is it’s going to give you real core stability and that’s obviously the root never mind golf to pretty much all sports having our secure grounding so what what we going to do first so what we’re going to do right now is we’re going to get you onto a little body composition assessment and see how you Gary are actually made up when body fat percentage muscle mass or extracellular water could be quite embarrassing it’s always important we know where we start and look we’ll just be completely objective with it and just talk you through it’s gone a bit down in the last few months don’t worry about it man we’ll see exactly where we’re at so if you’re wondering what I’m trying to achieve here guys I’ve come in with an intention trying to increase some strength in my core right because um you know probably don’t understand these words but I have a bit of an early extension you’re right I don’t um and I think having some better core Str is really going to help me achieve my goals in my swing right okay how did them first test results look so we’ll go through them in some more detail now but in terms of body fat percentage we’re in a reasonably healthy range maybe slightly over where we’d like to be but your skeletal muscle mass particularly in the midsection that’s what we really want to look to try boost and obviously to relate into your goal in the first place there’s not much muscle well that’s what we can work on there so in terms of weight at the moment it is slightly overrange again it wouldn’t be a primary concern for me to be honest with you because sceletal muscle mass is really the area we’re looking to boost and when that comes away increase so your scal muscle mass at the moment is Midway through the optimal range okay which again isn’t isn’t bad but this isn’t telling us at all sort of where it’s distributed across the body now the body fat mass is a little bit over where it needs to be okay and that’s the part obviously when your skeletal muscle mass comes up it’s pretty natural that your body fat mass starts to come down with as long as you’re eating into a healthy deficit your body fat percentage it’s just reflecting that right there now the one thing that I probably want expecting to see was your extracellular water ratio in the middle here so that’s just an indication of inflammation across the body and I would have thought from The Limited times that I’ve been to driving range I tend to get a pretty inflame shoulder or back with you doing it all the time I thought we might see quite a bit more extracellular water and really it doesn’t seem as though you’ve got much inflammation across the body at all right that’s all I mean car because I’m not training much i’ be lazy I’m not me to range so what we’ve got down here is your visceral fat level now this is this is a really important one to be honest You’ got two types of fat your subcutaneous which is under your skin layer here and your visceral yeah that there in your viseral which sits into your abdominal cavity so it’s in between the organs and your abdominal cavity um this is not me saying you’re at risk but it’s the one where it it’s a higher level yeah it can lead Health complications a bit later down the line right now we want people to be in between low and 10 all ways and so we’re just slightly over want to be that’s okay 11’s absolutely fine it’ll come down to where it needs to get to so long as we see the body fat Mass on a hole start to come down so I’m just spraying warm water onto them and this is just so it conducts properly into your muscle for the skin and fat layer so this is a jacket here that’s going onto you you see the pads underneath there that reach going to conduct into your different muscle groups on an electric mix I know in a lot of cases but in this case it’s just going to help it conduct to your muscle groups expecting this today no I know well it takes Everyone by surprise on the first session but trust me once you feel it you’re probably going to feel a little bit different about it so these are what’s going to be impulsing there exactly well it’s actually going to be these electrodes here which plug here into these straps and into the jacket so this is now just going onto your legs we strap it around at the top of the fire here and this is conduct into your quad muscle there does it hurt it doesn’t unless it’s too high that’s ultimately where so you can make it hurt if you want to I think hurt is probably the wrong word for it to be honest to you you can have a really intense contraction you know the same way you would as if you were using weights you could have a really intense contraction but if it ever hurts it’s gone too far so I suppose like the more you come the higher intensity so you could start you get us absolutely yeah absolutely and there’s there’s multiple factors working towards that one over time you’ll increase your sceletal muscle mass so it could be easier for us actually to conduct it to your body it’ll be easier for it to get into the [Music] muscle we are set up this is not flat so now I’m just going to bring you around to the front of the machine do now is just attach this main cable onto it dictate really the level you’re going to get so I’m all Ked up guys basically it’s time to start to feel a little bit of the electric so what we’re going to do is a process called impulse familiarization I’m just going to pass a low low current through all the individual Parts our individual muscle groups here so you can kind of give me a level as to where you’re at how you’re feeling it and towards the end just going to demonstrate how hard we can make it at certain points okay so if you just bring yourself forward face into the machine and give yourself a little bit of space tiny bit further back and it’s going to give you a quick jolt now to tell you it’s there oh gosh yeah and what I’m going to do level one it that’s nothing so you should you shouldn’t feel anything much as a yet what I’m going to do is I’m going to twist this master level up and again you won’t feel anything as a yet I can feel tingling you feel a little tingling yeah I’ve got in front first bit well it’s fine it normally gives you a jol to tell you it’s ready but what I’m going to do now just your quad muscle so just OPP of legs you tell me when you start feeling A tingle into them yeah feeling A tingle that was a quick one that one and now into your glutes so this is also going to tell me a little bit as to where the muscles laying on your body immediately yeah straight into the glutes right okay good and lower back now wow yeah can feel it upper back it’s not uncomfortable it’s more like someone’s like nice sensation actually yeah wait until I turn it up later on we’ll see you still feel that way and now upper back yeah can feel that good so now we’re going to do just the lats just isolate the lats on the back get in the comments guys if you’ve tried EMS training or you even order it this is the first time I’ve ever tried it yeah I can feel that okay good do you know what I actually like the feeling so far I don’t so now I’m like curious to what it’s going to feel like oh is it it’s turned up turn up to I’ll wait for you to see that I will you’ll see in just a sec but first your call okay so I’m going to take your car to a place where we take it in session okay so first tell me when you are right okay W and now in session we’re probably going to Bob it around the 3540 Mark so we’ll be sitting around here yeah that’s deep that is it oh yeah is deep and look where we are this can go all the way up to 100 and this can go all the way up to 100 so we’re really sort of low levels can explain what I’m feeling I’m feeling like it’s it’s deep inside yeah I can’t explain it it’s like something’s powering into that’s exactly what it’s doing there it’s passing electric yeah it’s passing straight through that fat lay to stimulate the muscle underneath it feels like someone’s got a laser against it’s like straight fruit fat into muscle but I’ll turn the getting deeper turn the card down that’s what I’m going to do and now I’m just going to bring it onto your chest okay so tell me when you get a sight tingle onto the packs here I’m tingling I’m tingling okay okay so now I’m going to do the arms this one’s an interesting one to be honest it’s going to tell me a little bit about where we’re at and S noral strength on the arm so I just want you to bring your elbows in towards your body here yeah almost like we’ve got a preacher bar going to squeeze up to it and just want you to slowly and continuously squeeze until it won’t let you anymore right okay so it’s a smaller muscle groups in the arms so you don’t need loads of impulse even just to feel it yeah but we also don’t need a load of impulse to actually contract them effective so if I I don’t need weights when I’m doing this no no no because the muscles are tensing wow yeah that’s mad it feels as I’m like lifting weight when yeah absolutely so we’re going to keep going going to find your I I think we found it right there we found it there you often will get like no no we can’t do that and we won’t do that but what we will do is make sure we get right into allum Su that’s mean I can’t believe that good man good man how did it feel be playing golf later you play it don’t worry you will be playing golf later where do you feel you sort of felt it the most just off well definitely on my arms you just on your arms yeah so you tricep here it carries the least fat really in the body so it go straight you know what I’m I’m sold on the fact that this how that just made me feel when I was doing that I can understand now completely why it can help absolutely it’s straight into the muscle there’s no sort of warm up period require to get into the muscle really effective contractions wow so good so let’s get warmed up with it yeah so first the pickable stretches bring your triceps up to the [Music] top squeeze keep squeezing for the 4 seconds fre two one and out there we go that’s it we won’t alternate with it stay on that side and squeeze that’s it anywhere feeling too high no but I’ll tell you what like for anyone who’s not tried this it works it really gets deep oh yeah yeah it works yeah and you’ll feel as well your temperature just coming up because you’re having to engage so many different muscles at once I Won’t Say I’m the weakest person in the world and it’s testing me like like it’s t oh yeah I know I know it’s a good workout and in the next couple of days you’ll you’ll properly know about it as well you can look at things on your website and you can see pictures of people doing it you know but it don’t it don’t give you the full story give you the full story like this is more harder than I thought it would be really engage that TR that bicep trying driving to it there you go three two and one perfect so we’re setting on to the opposite side now so we’re going opposite arm to opposite leg [Music] [Music] still and up we this is my biggest weakness this squats is it squats yeah is that from ACL or yeah from ACL and obviously like a lack of like sort of confidence with my knees right yeah but I’m feeling this is like because I’ve not got a weight on my shoulders I feel a lot more it’s all of it exactly I mean that’s that is the benefit of having you no impacts on your training it really is because something like your ACL despite the fact how confident you are that it might have healed you’ll always have that sort of niggl you will good okay hip flexes are opening up getting further and further into that squat just keep focusing on pushing a BM to the back of the room there we go good and back up through that’s it so we just two to go now and Away good man and with one more perfect and we come good now I’m just going to give you this ring now there’s no picture for this one cuz putting chin on to chest and we’re going to come down into a crunch really bringing the ring down towards our hips just like that good now I’m going to bump your car level a little bit up that’s it but chin get it planted on here and the hips want to stay still we want to almost move our back through it there good your core engagement should have felt a lot better there I don’t know if I could have it up much more well I’m going to Bob it all onto your arms on the next one as well because as we’re coming down into these reps and I want you to start compressing that as much as possible there good good good Force onto it there we go breathing difficults I’m not used to yeah it it is the hardest thing to get used to like I said you’re getting jolted by about 83 Herz of electric there and see your body I want to hold on to my breath so how we feeling first session in the Box unbelievable to be honest I cannot believe like how much of a work I feel like I’ve had in 20 minutes and you know say that I’ve not even moved off this spot you know I I I do a bit of weight training gym but I never feel like a breath from it so like this has like got me cardio workout and Weight Workout all in one absolutely that and for me really from what I want to see is obviously we had an action area coming into it we wanted to work on the car and theability how did you feel with it engaging in your car really really engaging what can I say like it’s so deep it it penetrates can’t explain unless you try this guys you know it’s hard to explain but it gets so deep into the muscle straight into it um and one of the things like people might be thinking this isn’t difficult like you know like it’s not if you’re a strong person you might be thinking well this might not benefit me but I’ve done like you know I do like 16s or curls yeah so kg I’m not weak like you had it on an intensity where I couldn’t even curl exactly you got my arms locked out that was out that would have took some big guy to be able to overpower that but again we’re talking you know lower levels down as you continue to comb and make adaptations it will get a bit easier for you but anyone can benefit from it that is the point I’m blowing away about it and I can see how like especially somebody getting into like Fitness yeah how much more beneficial this is as well that that and also the time efficiency of it because you can Target like the whole body area you know like where when you’re getting into like Fitness you don’t really know how to do that yourself no it tends to be that we’d split it up by muscle groups or we split it up by motion for a week whereas realistically you can give yourself two to three I use my girlfri as an example she goes to the gym every we there’s no criticism to it but she does um a what do you call it oh a spin class a spin class so she does her legs every week and that’s all she does because she’s not got any knowledge to do anything else where something like this could give her a full body workout in less time absolutely in only 20 minutes as well honestly I’m out of breath I was going to say does it feel like you’ve worked for 20 minutes it feels like I worked for an hour in 20 minutes exactly exactly that perfect well I thought you did really well in your first session there’s always so much to remember but so long as you felt into the right areas and I’m quite encouraged for your first session to be honest with you yeah that were awesome that I really appreciate it good man thanks for coming so guys that my first ever experience at EMS training at feel electric and I really did feel the intensity of that electric good man I could tell it’s quite a feeling isn’t it honestly I’m going to actually come back you know in my own time to do this because I’m looking forward to seeing the results obviously I work out and I’ve never felt such an intense workout in 20 minutes before in terms of of you know working all the different muscles in my body yeah absolutely I go and do a session and it’s based on chest or it’s based on arms and I can’t do so much in one session no but here we get everything into that 20 minutes we really do and I’m sure you’re feeling effects of that I am and you know I’ll be stupid to sort of like just leave it at that so I think that I need to sort of probably invest into this for at least a couple of months to see if I can get some results from it that that tends to be sort of the time frame for people to come but really what I’m excited about is you coming back to your next session and just for us sort of compare the results see how you SC I’m somebody that obviously if I do see results within a couple month then I don’t by all means carry on coming but I think um if I were to go away from today and not take it any further then I’d be pretty stupid basically youve you made a good start and you’d be wasting that a little bit Yeah so we’ve got our before results haven’t we we have yes so let’s come back on the channel couple months
