I tried to compare the Axiom Pitch, MVP Glitch, Discmania Spore, and the Latitude 64 Beetle and had a bit of a crisis about the nature of disc reviews and my place in them. All are great discs and comparing discs as an amateur might be a bit silly.
The course is Bald Hill Park in Clarinda (a suburb of Melbourne, Australia).

oh go in I’m throwing the Spore versus the pitch versus the glitch versus the beetle pitch has the Box no one has the Box first hole oh my God go in not bad I do like the pitch go in Sp the glitch this is where the problems are going to start I think the aim of this video is to see which one’s the best those three are exactly the same like none of no disc is the best the whole point of this video was I was going to throw all the one speeds against each other yep and see which one’s the best and they’ve all literally landed within Circle yeah I had to throw them all slightly differently but they’ve all landed like within the bullseye pretty much so there is no best disc no but I’m going to keep throwing them all anyway cuz it’s fun and maybe talk through how they’re flying how many you got look at this grouping spread I guess we can test whether they’re any good at putting or we’re not testing whether the discs are any good at putting we’re testing whether I’m any good at putting you missed that one change the idea for the video I think putting them against each other is a silly idea cuz that just comes down to how well I them so I’m just going to throw each of the four and talk through how I’m doing it and how they fly so firstly the pitch this one’s got a little bit of stability it flies a bit more like a normal putter it’s got a bit of turn but it will finish at the end good disc the Spore is a little bit less stable than that oh no that actually flew stable I gave I gave it Heiser yeah the glitch is a little bit less stable than that a bit more touchy throw it straight into a tray perfect and the flippi of them all the beetle you need to give this a lot of Hiser and it doesn’t really stand up to talk didn’t give it enough haer I don’t think that was a very good bit to camera let’s try that again next time I’m going to try them all from here cuz floaty putter that’s kind of what you’d be wanting putting them up on heer letting them drift in Pitch first it’s pretty good I do like the pitch that’s the Spore pretty similar as long as you throw them right they do what they’re supposed to do I think this is the thing pitting similar discs against each other just doesn’t work they are similar discs but they all are slightly different and people are going to like some like the hand feel of some better people are going to like this the flight of some better I kind of like them all similarly similarly but yeah I I don’t know how to compare things that are actually different so is this video just going to be Chris has a slight mental breakdown while throwing discs all right I can’t I can’t part with the the glitch this golfer dis golfer freaks out about one [Laughter] speed it’s also I saw a video where someone said there’s a level of I don’t know about arrogance but ego in thinking that someone wants to watch what you put on YouTube anyway so there’s a level of ego in me throwing discs and thinking that does the discs Justice all right pitch off the tea which is exactly where you would throw it off a 118 M shot hey hey like you know like people throw that people throw drivers on this hole Yeah and sometimes it doesn’t get that result you know there’s a gap there that Spore that’s a Spore now we’re throwing the beetle this is the flippy one the beetle was also first the beetle was first by years and then the glitch came along and everyone got really into one speeds and the Beatles still don’t sell out I don’t get it there’s one disco missing and it’s a p cat I don’t need to throw a p c so I threw four shots and they all went pretty identical what a weird concept one speeds all going the same direction apart from the Glitch clearly the worst one speed can I make the goal posts yep do it oh he has go in oh okay now the glitch is the best disc all right look at that next to the basket floaty poter so L 64 loves to call this a utility disc yeah it’s it’s a lid yeah cuz it’s it’s the most lidlike of the lot like it’s it’s like a shrunk down Ultra star it is a bit which is why you love it so much which is why I’m going to shank it to the trees all right we’re on hole four this is a good one-speed hole 60 M downhill floaty this has ceased to be a disc review or disc challenge absolutely I don’t know what it is maybe it’s me having a existential crisis it’s we’re just out here throwing discs and it’s fun pitch oh not enough width yeah just too stra right yeah okay it’s so slow absolutely pared it’s so slow so the disc that I threw the worst Martin threw the best so is it the disc is it the thrower it’s so slow oh my God this may be my worst my last ever discri this is yeah Chris is never doing disc reviews again this is me what’s the point of anything what’s the point of ly no not that low okay that was a great upshot if it was in the wind and Spore decent glitch and Beetle not but this is be range if I’ve ever seen it this is Beetle throw in range come on as I literally said this is Beetle throw in range he actually throws it in like dude Beetle two from two all right the be best one speed yeah you can turn the cameras off now you don’t need to you don’t need to continue making this video anymore five so the sensible play is obviously to throw 41 speeds but he’s going to be an idiot and throw 11 absolute idiot yeah 12 speed 12 speed absolutely and out of production 12 speed as well I can’t get these anymore so if I lose this I’m going to have an existential crisis oh he’s trying to hit the people heads four four oh God you tried to hit him sorry that’s enough one spad for this h I’m doing a onee only round so the sensible thing to do he’s going to throw show people exactly how you throw one speeds on a 194 met power five what am I doing like 78 people will watch this and they’ll say encouraging things and I’ll just be throwing one spe on the five I’ll go in no go in bounds yeah go in bounds pitch got birdie pitch is clearly the best disc in this totally objective judging panel people are watching this going this guy clearly knows what he’s talking about I’m going to trust his review on one speeed discs whichever one he says is the best is the one that I’m putting in my shopping cart immediately after liking and subscribing it’s going to be it’s going to be either it’s going to be the beetle you’re it’s the beetle people are going to be like oh Beetle oh man last I checked lat 64 had beetles in stock they’re a lot of fun oh you’re preco discer oh my God not one of these Johnny come lately I’m a Johnny come slightly less than slightly more than lately I don’t know now this is a hole this is a hole this is a hole 66 M turnover backand this is perfect for a onee speed let’s get a genuine review of these discs yes some some gu going to be aium pitch some guy’s going to be on your on your video that’s not a hole that’s a basket oh hello all right the axium pitch is cutting in circle one just may a Spore beetle yep bead was good for this ho glitch if that was thrown better that would be good for this hole cuz I didn’t throw the Spore well oh hello oh Sor I threw four shots one of them didn’t work well so I threw another another version of the same disc and it almost AC it’s almost like my opinion is irrelevant because I’m not consistent thank you for watching if you’ve got this far just thank you so that’s where the Spore landed the second one the better Spore shot that must have been really actually close yeah this is a course that has double te’s single baskets so 17 and 8 throw out the same basket 17’s about 30 40 m longer so given that we reviewing one speeds this is 100% the tea we should be throwing from good 115 M shot that I can’t reach with a driver pitch I do like the pitch yeah it’s a good disc it’s got a bit of stability you can throw it does it fit your hand come back fits nicely on the hand stays on any angle you throw it that’s a really nice shot spore look at that it flies really nicely I like TR glitch I liked it and I didn’t like that throw look at that yeah in the words of Douglas Adam hangs in the air in much the same way that bricks don’t I might just throw all of these from where the pitch landed I just did a whole bit to camera about how that was exactly when you would throw a one speeed looked at the screen and it wasn’t recording which one doesn’t that just sum it all up floaty any runs that drift around a tree genuine one-speed shots don’t throw one discs off the te when it’s 115 M uphill cool we’ve learned our lesson yeah all right we have one to play last one yeah last one what are we doing here 18 or nine nine cuz we’ learned our lesson I just said we’d learn our lesson did you not hear me oh clearly I didn’t learn the lesson let’s do it let’s finish this well let’s throw four good shots I thre good four good shots on one let’s throw four good shots on nine nice book ends to the round chaotic yeah crisis of a round all right whole nine there’s a dog on it whole nine it’s too far for a one speed so I’m going to throw one speeds 89 M dead straight slightly uphill miss the trees easy same order as normal pitch you beat it a Spore hello hey puppy hello boys how you going same shot Beetle never chance on this hole maybe I throw it up and over those trees I can’t throw this that far no straight nice centering kick I think I’m also a bit tired yeah I think so bit emotional a bit emotional hard and emotional I can go over those did I hit the ground I don’t know I don’t think it I don’t think it did for the last proper shots of the round I’m actually going to throw these discs how they’re intended floaty up shots from about 45 pitch that’s pared yeah Spore that’ll be a pot glitch that’s not great glitch and Bo all of them are apart when it comes down to it the best onep speed is the one speed that works for you they’re all pretty good at up shots they all have this nice floaty kind of run yeah they’re good discs and they’re kind of fun they’re all very fun actually that’s one of the things about these they’re fun to throw throw a glitch in show us how fun it is show us how fun it is quick quick nope did you still have fun no yeah good so yeah the lesson here is that disc golf is fun comparing things is silly let’s just throw discs okay so that’s my video I hope it was interesting it’s kind of fun to make wasn’t what I
