you know just like oh come on what’s going you know are other sports like this no no golf go golf is perhaps uh a little more self-important than our other major sports well she kills me when she when she watches now she she watches when you talk about imagination I mean on the golf course there’s probably nobody’s ever had the imagination of Tiger Woods when it comes to shot maybe his phone pal Phil melson oh yes who he coordinates and accessories what chewing G with well it’s an interesting thing Phil Nicholson because he’s certainly uh playing as well as anybody you know what I mean still a relevant golfer at 48 he’s 48 years old we’ve called we’ called Bernard longer perhaps the finest senior golfer ever is mikkelson the finest you know older golfer middle-aged golfer I I think you’d want to put VJ sing up I think that’s no but you’re probably right even though way less there’s that statistic about his uh Club head speed being faster than anybody yeah 125 he got to yesterday that just stretching and the new the IR the shafts and just everything is I don’t know if he’s swinging harder he and he has arthritis me it’s it’s it’s a St it’s a miracle they’re working with instruments also I mean I always felt Joe Frasier you know maybe could I don’t know enough about in history but you know the fact that he lived in the era of Ali certainly didn’t help him how many would Phil Mickelson have won without tiger you know how many did Phil Mickelson win 60 70 tournaments oh well the I don’t think the whole generation after tiger uh was robbed of some luster by hising finished second his gobling up so many of the majors yeah Ernie Al certainly my mom’s when tiger came in it was Ernie Al an odd Quirk of history no truly great golfer I would say came along uh in the nine years between Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson it’s it’s a hot podge of excellent golfers Adam Scott Bubba Watson Justin Rose has played awfully well the last year where are the African-American gol is it still a a Class Matter of you know it’s a matter golf is always a matter of the score you shoot it’s you know it’s it’s all right there but I don’t know I guess the guy you know the game hasn’t quite resonated I guess with uh with that uh with those athletes there’s some names of it’s very funny because at the beginning of the day I wouldn’t have expected I didn’t know coer was was in 12th Place or there’s another guy coocher who’s what a tournament has been hanging around what a historic day when VJ sing one I think J’s call could be remembered wrong was uh absolutely no one was rooting for that yeah maybe my memor is playing FS I remember he earned that Masters I remember that because there was terrible weather on Thursday and Friday and hit him both times DJ yeah and uh so wait no n asked does that count as a black guy no it got him in some trouble but it was it was just just an honest question yeah I I don’t know what to say at the moment all right oh wait oh wait we’ got the we’ve got we’ve got the goodness think he saw the jacket C for goodness sake the folks at home were worried we were on they were probably going no wait look how young I bet we have a lot of uh we have a lot of comments like what about the still shocks me he takes off that hat and he okay not not as many as I thought not as many as one might think and Sergio I’m talking about hairlines it you wanted to State patient on Sunday and I think he followed your plan I was I was as patient as I days so many big shots he’s patient and he waits for the other guy to make a mistake so many Big Shots was any bigger shot than that mundane iron on 12 to the fat part of the green behind and then all Eagles 13 and and you know all these different scenarios start flying around uh Patrick Patrick made a run and it was just a an amazing Buzz out there to try to figure out what was going on me I’ll still stay present and focus on what I’m trying to do out there um it was uh I kind of liked it sure you did a special day and now for a moment that I think many thought we’d never see it again the Green Jacket being put on your shoulders as a champion again at Augusta Fred and St Patrick you’ve been a great champion and I can’t tell you thank God I’ve never seen look so SL Patrick has he lost a few well he didn’t have any homecooked meals that week that’s for sure I uh or is he like Patrick now think best tournament ever why not what do you think of Rory mroy this I don’t know it he he said something to me that was very telling in the uh pre-round interviews where he wants to win the career slam but if it doesn’t happen this year there’s always next year yeah wow and I don’t think that’s the right attitude at all because there isn’t always next year like no guarantee sounds like he has the eye of the Rory yeah I I thought there was an obvious big three coming into this tournament uh Rory Justin Rose and uh Dustin Johnson only one was any kind of factor and how about the absolute complete disappearance of Jordan Speed you called that as well I did call that I didn’t but I I only called that because he was making 30t I just thought Jordan was too off form to be a factor this week you can’t make no but I talk about when he was winning that’s when I called his demise because he can’t make 30 foot putts Jordan finished the tournament at five under solid Justin Rose uh envies him but kind of interesting that are they the same age as smth and Thomas uh yes so Thomas didn’t come around for about three more years or more maybe H yeah though he came around early it’s just that Jordan was on this you know was was uh on the Masters final group when he was 20 and then won the next year when he was 21 and then won a passel of other majors in short oh this is Jim n’s uh oh this is it this is it turn it up turn it up his imagination like can’t this one sayag no it’s fine this is the start this the start and guide you Lo this here’s the imagination this little chap in a master’s t-shirt is crossing off guide you to a place where you’re lost in your own universe were moments of the past there’s some uh Sands of the future in work we’re going to see uh some it’s kind of cool really yeah what what is that uh it’s some painting with sand [Music] technique a few years ago when it was US Open was in Mary you know the distinctive wicker basket fly they had bed with a a frame photo and Green Jacket by his bed about that that was so when uh yeah Kristen and I were visiting we were in Maryland visiting the family and we had to go to the airport and tiger hit that shot left and the cab to go to the airport was literally outside so we’re like I’m like oh [ __ ] we got to go so we go and we’re driving through this neighborhood away from their house and we heard this giant Roar I’m sure to interrupt from people watching that on television oh wow then one morning the sands of time signal that the Masters has arrived this young chat turns his head jacket your dream will be realized must go practice a big love yeah everything I’d like to have a bedroom like he’s weighing the golf oh they’re replaying it CS done mat are they well why not well got nothing else to supposed to be you guys thinking what I’m thinking here’s our chance to live vog the front no maybe an even better idea to say good night to everybody yeah I think so thanks folks
