[Music] and Now ladies and gentlemen it is time for our chief support bout of the evening 10 three minute rounds for the IBO InterContinental welterweight Championship introducing first fighting out of the blue corner here is Chris cono Chris K Maru in it crossair for quite some time this is the fight that he’s wanted I think he’s quite relieved that it’s now here and the pressure is on him Sasha because he’s had big fights against Michael mckinson against Echo last time out and he’s come up short both times it’s a must win for him really I think so and I think I think um you know it’s a fight that everyone’s been waiting for definitely Mich and it’s a a big platform to Showcase his talent which I think he’ll want to put on a performance as well plus all the stuff that’s happened you know in the buildup to it as [Applause] [Applause] well he and his opponent fighting out of the Red Corner accompanied by Albanian rapper noisy make way for the alanian king floran [Applause] Mar [Applause] [Music] [Applause] come [Music] Maru makes the slow walk the flag been carried there by the rapper noisy and his younger brother I saw his ring walk in Albania in the open air of the stadium it is always extraordinary and the support he brings to English Arenas is frankly amazing as well he is quite a character F marum man I find him intriguing because quite simply I still don’t really know where he’s at levelwise I’m still not really sure how good he is no me either we know he’s a massive character very popular um probably the best I’ve seen in bums was on the undercard of the first AJ using player to hbur against Maxim he Al to box on the back foot that night I don’t think he’ll box like that against Chris Congo I think he’s going to take the fight to Congo but I don’t I really don’t know what I love about Mar he doesn’t mind play in the body does he he’s a pan Man villain he sometimes the goody sometimes the goody that the body that says the goody but he he doesn’t mind whichever role he has to play he fixs it well ladies and gentlemen this Chief support B of the evening is promoted by Ben Shalom and boxer brought to you live worldwide on Sky Sports and NBC’s peacock 10 three minute rounds for the IBO InterContinental welterweight Championship with our supervisor in charge Alis and our Steward in charge Charles diales our timekeeper Steven pooie and our judges at ringside Michael Alexander Steve Gray and Mark Bates with our referee in charge Howard Foster let’s meat the Fighters first hiding out of the blue Corner we’re in the black trunks with white trim he stands 6 feet tall he weighed in at 10 Stone 6 lbs five out he holds a professional record of 14 victories versus two defeats with seven of those wins coming by way of knockout and he fights out of FY London England introducing the former WBO Global at WBC International Silver Welterweight Champion Chris to Slick cono [Applause] and his opponent fighting out of the Red Corner wear in the red trunks with black trim he stands 5′ 8 and 1/2 in tall he weighed at 10 Stone 6 lb he holds a perfect undefeated professional record of 13 victories versus Z defeats and one draw with eight of those wins coming by way of Knockouts and he fights out of London England by way of luia Albania introducing the former ibf International Welterweight Champion oh hell the Albanian King floran Mar okay guys both to you both in the dressing room we both know I expect keep it clean break straight away m shut up both you watch your heads in closed good luck to [Applause] touch so here we go finally the talking between these two is [Applause] over and that support the mar you can hear it in the background London boxing fans will remember a part called FR from back in the day another Al used to the call maru’s brought a couple of thousand here at least as we get underway Maru starting off in the Orthodox STS he can box out of IA we will see him switch during the course of the fight I’m absolutely sure you look at them physically they’re very different Congo long and lean nothing on him at all rich a shred at the way in yesterday Maru thicker around the shoulders stockier what they do both have which is something that makes you very well suited to being a fighter is ridiculously long arm yeah I think but flan looks a lot smaller and he is a lot more in stature but he actually his arm his arm reaches not that to much the similar kongu set up very very correctly good amateur spent some time on that GB Squad very well drilled well honed he’s got that right glove clamped to the side of his face looking to try and work that lead left hand giving a little bit of ground here though Maru making some inroads and actually got into quite a good position there but didn’t manage to let his hands [Music] go I think that was really smart he though when he we was backed up a little bit on the ropes and he was expecting you know I think that’s why his hands are so tight marku can punch and what he did is he just SM them straight away so we couldn’t get the the big shots [Applause] off sticking with Orthodox here Maru that right-handed stance cono just backing up Good Feet Maru has been patient so far in this opening round hasn’t really let his hands go to any extent cono looking for that right hand over the top CBC un employed again as soon as his back touches the ROP he just closes the space and holds on so that Maru can’t get let any shots off good left hand into the body there from [Applause] Maru [Music] [Applause] cono not really allowing Maru to get off with his shots he’s he’s staying at a distance or he’s getting in close and smothering him tying him up but he’s not going to be able to do that for the whole distance and win the fight at some stages have to be a bit more engaging not sure he actually enjoyed boxing in alia all that much because the demands on his time were were unbelievable during fight week brilliant round he’s scared to death but don’t get carried away what know end you’re trying to get a bit too close don’t try to get CLA you had the distance earlier I wasn’t you won the round brilliant round right what we’re doing here sure right step it around more F yeah Grant Smith in the corner there for Maru bar Smith for Chris Congo D Smith in that Maru corner just gazing between the ropes fantastic win for him against of PETA brilliant performance be interesting to see what is next on the horizon for him I think we had Grant say that he would have give Maru that round and I probably disagree of him honest I thought cono controlled it really well and like I said he his tactics were spot on soon as he’s Backes the Rope he holds on yeah looking for the right hand there as soon as Marco goes southp let his jab go more at the start of the round as well Kongo let his hands go more here Southport is the preferred stance for Maru that’s what he is really but he does Swit you lot I’ve seen him boxing both stances what he can do is give you that squareness of stance at times which can make it a little bit difficult for your opponent to work out exactly what it is that you’re going to do you can throw the back hand out of either St allow that backl to come through and forward which you’re not really supposed to do and all of a sudden you switched STS and you’re comfortable in either one scking to to what he knows here there is your right a bit of bruising underneath the left eye there of marus yeah I think those are the right hands when he went South for Maru Kongo nailed him with some straight rights [Applause] good fate there from Congo as Maru was just closing in he threw the faint it gave him something to think about he hesitated the Albanian and then Congo just stepped off to the left hand [Music] side through with a good job there but I think cono is doing a really good job of just frustrating him a little bit keeping him moving cuz Marco has to like set himself he wants to throw the big shot a big Power of shots BL the right eye of combo I think there is yeah I think there’s a little bit of damage underneath that right eye too or on the corner of it unless it’s transference for Maru but I think they’ve both got a slight wound maybe from a head Clash who knows yeah I think Congo’s frustrating Marco maru’s obviously initiating the attacks he’s he’s trying to pressure Congo Bongo is not really letting him get the fight at the range he wants to fight at you know sming close and he’s he’s staying at a distance and he’s moving fainting and nice jab there from Marco but he’s having to work hard just to land a few shots here good right hand though from Marco looking to try and finish the round strong here and back K go up he tries to come back with the right hand and that has got the crowd going Congo steady sings a bit with a jab to the chest and then a solid right hand straight down the middle yeah just faint the jab then turned into a left hook right hand combination good shots good right hand from Marco fight really St to heat up here absolutely closing stages of round two right to the body that was a a good again solid pun they just rocked him back onto his heels right you’re breaking him up J this one listen that there and Ja you’re Landing don’t get you got to keep that jab going with that moment a slight bit of meanwhile over in the other corner there was that little bit of damage to the corner of Congo’s right eye the referee came over and indicated to him I think Tash that that was caused by a punch yeah I I seen him telling the people at the board um over on the other side it doesn’t look particularly serious so I don’t see it having a huge bearing on things it’s right at the outside corner so even if it did H start a b profusely just just on the outside and out of your vision controlling the range is key here for cono he wants to fight he wants this fight quite at long range Mar wants to sneak in dip down low and get it at medium range if he gets too close that’s when cono can grab a hold of him smother him and then the ref will break them up so it’s just the battle here is whether Congo can keep him on the end end of that jab or whether Maru can sneak his way in and land that shots at Mid distance but as he gets close you got to be careful not to get too close cuz that’s when cono can tie him up I think that’s what Brun Smith in the previous round was telling him about you had the range perfect and you getting too close to let him do [Applause] that how Foster just speaking to Congo about a little touch of holding and that’s what you were talking about Matt there which is that when Maru gets tight he does look to get a hold of him just backs his feet up there and finds good distance for the one [Applause] two but he can still smother him he can still negate him by just stepping to him and staying close to him he doesn’t have to hold him you know the ref’s going to get on his back and take points so we can’t afford for that to happen but he can still step up right close to him and stay next to him and therefore not allow Marco the room to get his shots off again just coming forward there Maru trying to Barrel Congo back into the ropes cono able to turn off the ropes comfortably enough he’s looking nice and sharp here Congo Maru is the kind of fighter who will keep bringing the heat confident that he can bring it to bear at some point left hands landed by both of them there in quick succession and we did see Congo in his fight against Echo start well build up a lead at halfway and then get overhauled in the second half of the fight some people have spoken to wonder about his stamina over the 12 rounds Congo basically because he’s 6 feet tall and making this wait for him must be hard hard work although it’s what he’s always done I think that’s all my always my w for for Congo and you know he’s he’s he’s he’s beating Maru now by the speed and and the agility in his feet but as that slows down and as the fight goes on Maru will have a bit a little bit more ccess he’s boxing well Congo he’s rolling after the shots Landing the right hands then rolling underneath coming under the left hook he’s not standing in front of Marco frustrating him but can he sustain it that’s the key there you [Applause] go [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] right hand down into the body come go few seconds ago and then as Maru looked to try and move in on him on the ropes he took that step in and grabbed a hold of him that was what you were talking about mat in the previous round but Maru does manage to make an impression on the ropes there an untiy looking left hand but it got through and then the jab there too and you know Mar’s trying to slip and Dock and come underneath steal half a yard and then spring up with the jab he’s got to be careful as well Mark with that that like um that pull up of the short you know he’s still well within range for Congo to be able to hit him when he does it it’s actually pretty surprising how often Fighters do that he’s pulled those shorts up pretty high as well at the front up over the top of the protector the referee might get them taken down to touch at some point Congo with a right hand into the body Maru missing with the right and the left and kongu working well off the ropes there J great upper cut again good boxing landed the uppercut then just turned away pivoted around that front [Applause] foot I can hear gr Smith from here say you’d hit him to the body and warning the ref about the holding he’s pretty vocal in the corner Grant Smith you can hear him above almost any crowd come fight night again that’s good from Congo kind of a reverse one two LED off with the right hand then the left uppercut but Mar trying to come back into it himself here as I said previously he will keep the faith he will keep coming forward he will back his chin and his ability to wear his opponent down Mar’s got to be careful with the the the back of the head shots I think he’s already been warned same as Congo with the Holden but good body shot went in there from [Applause] Maru what’s he doing just pushing off with the forearm there Maru he’s had a little bit of a rub on his face with the heel of his glove at one point as well and he’ll look to try and do that when he gets up close as much as he can without incurring too much of the referee’s [Applause] Roth one two at the end of the round [Music] there he’s got that technique hasn’t he cono we got a great look at that and his feet are underneath and the balance the leverages are all there he’s a technically very proficient fighter I think the key is what you mentioned earlier on how long can he do this for can he do it for the 10 Rounds or not think of you marku you’re probably banking on him not and and he’s doing the right thing by if you know someone’s going to fade in the early stages he’s putting the pressure he might not be being successful he might not be winning all around but he knows he has to keep the pressure on to make him way and and become [Music] [Music] tired and you can see there’s not really anything to that on the corner of the eye they’re attending to it but it’s a scratch really more than anything else which is good because although winning by technical knockout by cutting an opponent is a perfectly legitimate way to win it’s not really ever one we want to see good jab there counter jab all motional Congo Marco looking for a big overhand right but was short with it yeah sharp left hand work from Congo not just the Jabs with the Jabs the body the faint the jab lead left hook he’s got and he’s got to do that he’s got to keep mixing it up he can’t for to become predictable because marus trying to read the jab slip inside it and then come back with his own jab so he’s got to keep buing the left hand work Congo can’t afford to become [Applause] predictable landed the lead left hand there Maru and didn’t really move in behind IND it he’s got his left arm trapped there by gongo referee Howard Foster is alive to these tricks I think they feel like they’re getting away with them at times but they’re not are they he’s seeing them all not at all see Mar leaning to the left and jumping with the jab Congress should faint the jab throw this lead right a short right hand left hook try and walk him onto it [Applause] I don’t think sorry I don’t think Congo wants to get into a tussling um match with with Maru he is physically very strong and also that zaps your energy as [Applause] well it’s one of those fights where when you look at the two of them physically next to each other with the referee of the start you feel like you know what each one of them needs to do the tall lean angular Congo needs to keep it on the outside and he does have the technique to do it whereas Maru has got to find a way past that jab and it’s turning out to be exactly that yeah Marco’s keeping him under pressure though making him move urgently not at his own pace trying to force the pace make him work harder than he wants to and then trying a good body shot there though from Congo we don’t know how the judges are scoring this but come the end of this round will be five deep and I don’t think Maru will have much on the board good left hand there though from him I mean I’ve got Congo ahead by a few rounds but you know again we said it before he has been six rounds ahead before and ended up losing the fight so I think we’ve got a good second half to come here right hand there from con as marku just tried to Barrel in he is bringing the heat he’s putting him under pressure he’s definitely taken plenty AV cono tank in this first [Applause] top when are you winning this fight when are you winning this fight by going first when does he eat you when you put your hands up and walk forward you relax no when you stay open you w everyone yes switch up you can’t switch up what that you can’t believe we’re got five left drinking Len [Music] Len that rela just throw it second out round [Applause] six so into the second half of the flight for Maru in the red and black with the Albanian eagle on the side of the shorts Chris Congo in the black and white and there’s the viewers verdict 3-2 to Congo you’ve got it at home I wouldn’t necessarily argue with that some of these rounds have been pretty close I would say that Congo is ahead halfway how far he’s ahead could be absolutely crucial as we wait to see what unfolds in round six through to 10 cono started well in this one [Applause] Mar’s taking the fight too K so con’s really got to mix things up lots of faints jab head body baby faint the jab walk on to the right hand left H he can’t afford he’s got to get his respect he’s got to make Mark think twice about coming so that when he does faint he fires the faints and he’s going to do that by hitting him with something hard getting his respect [Applause] landed a good back hand the [Applause] before really took his feet with him he had to travel quite a long way to get there but was kind of scurrying in almost he just gave him that platform to punch from and he’s just trying to pin Kong go back into the corners here he’s doing really well you know when he’s back on the Roop he’s just spinning him off you know before he was holding a little bit and then trying to walk him back but [Applause] now sharp right hand there from Congo nice and accurate as well and then he found that space that open canvas up to his left hand [Applause] side [Applause] that’s good from Congo you know the head jabing the body using the faints like I say varying it he’s definitely sitting down on his back hand a lot more than he was earlier that jab to the stomach or to the chess for cono works well because it’s a big Target that’s also of marus and it’s the area of him that will move least just causes him to take that step off and start again Maru in this kind of position that’s really where he needs to make it count but K go answered him back and steps off to the left hand side good round there heading back to the blue corner he landed a cheeky little uh to the body inside of nobody’s going to do you no favors here [Applause] into the seventh good jab there from Congo fainted the first jab almost and follow through with the second [Applause] one he shakes his head there Maru but cono has started this round very nice and busy as he finished that previous one [Music] [Applause] [Applause] that’s some good body work on the inside there from Congo you wouldn’t think that was necessarily his range he waits you can see him just wait that has a little pause for Mar’s opening of the arms and he just gets him twice underneath see it again there nice left hand to the body there from Congo marus got a bit of a problem here because the momentum is going against him in the second half of this fight so far in round six and seven and by our Reckoning that is not what he would have needed to happen Congo’s got some as I said about a previous fight mat winding his sails here and good for Mar yeah boxing really well here boxing with confidence mixing it up rolling out get letting his shots go landing them and then Rolling Out Underneath not standing there too long waiting for Marco to come back at him and this round in particular Marco really hasn’t had any success at all and can’t go box him with real confidence I think the viewers at home give him the first two rounds so maybe it’s not that desperate time yet if the judges have scored it the same it’s just a direction it’s heading and he needs something doesn’t he and if he can’t get it in the final minute of this round and needs to come in that eighth round because the momentum is with Congo and we’re not too far away from the Finish tape and Maru has got to try and do something to turn that around but as you say there is still time remaining yet he picked Maru off with a great back hand as he came in [Applause] good work lovely just threaded that uppercut through the middle snapped a head back and then rolled underneath boxing really well here Congo that was fantastic from Congo good sorry a good great there but it good and hook to the body as well just on the outside and then C Mar with another right hand as he was coming forward he’s not re having too much joy at the minute the alanian Congo meanwhile is growing in [Music] confidence yeah just rolling out on the knees he’s been doing that so well all night beautiful uput and again rolls out underneath the left hook then spins off the ROP really slippery hard to pin down Congo beautiful lovely what’s good about when he turn he keeps his arm it’s jabing arm just that arms length in case the something else coming [Applause] [Music] [Applause] back [Applause] it’s round eight Grant Smith was reading the right act of Maru as he sat on his stool in between rounds I think they know that this is almost the point of no return for him now he’s got to get something done in this round he needs to win this round quite badly from where I’m [Applause] sitting so the referee’s having a word with Barry Smith Congo’s many trainer coming off okay or even disqualify now this has got a stop you understand stay there yeah any more Wars and it could be disqualified so it’s got to stop he’s having a good chat with both of [Applause] them I think Congos maybe I didn’t quite get catch that but I think cono maybe about the Holden yeah it’s what he’s been speaking to him about previously in the fight Howard Foster is the one in there it doesn’t look from where we’re sitting like it’s been a fight particularly littered by fouls it certainly hasn’t been spoiled by it in anyway this is the best Chris condo has ever boxed you know he Jabs good he’s mixing it up with straight right hands every time he lands a shot he’s rolling out underneath not standing there waiting for the shot to coming back at him you know he’s really frustrating Maru he’s fighting and triggering and making him throw and making him think something’s coming getting a reaction and he’s respondent these last few rounds he started well he’s looked good from the beginning but six seven and now eight he’s clicked through the gears really he’s grown in confidence and he’s almost doing what he wants in there we talk about Ring generalship you know he’s never allowed Maru to pin him in anywhere in the ring where he didn’t want to be when he was backed up on the Roop even early on straight in smothered him Spa him got back into the center of the Ring Smith is very animated in the corner there and there’s a brother OED put on the gshield anyone know very well Marco’s really going to take the fight to Congo now slipping away from him absolutely he’s just got to throw CAU into the wi now and that was a punch around the back of the head there a punch around the back of the head and Howard poster has spoken to him on numerous occasions and he takes the point and he can’t really have any complaints there FL and Maru because they’ve both been warned they were both told you understand I think that’s a sign of frustration as well from Maru that just can’t do anything about it that’s exactly what it is he’s just you know he can’t pin him down he can’t get to him and cono just letting his hands go the odd Shake of the head every now and again from Maru but that’s all he’s really able to offer at the moment great body shot that went in there I do think that great though c k go high on the head but he seems steady enough as Maru tries to close in there was a good left hook there from maruo and he tried to follow it up I don’t know did the second shot land couldn’t see it the hook landed high on the head of Congo which can sometimes of course be a huge huge problem it can really scramble the senses but in this instance it hasn’t but it was a welcome success there for Maru but this has been another very good round for Congo who has got the Finish Line in his SES now yeah big round for Congo [Music] yeah banging on the back of the head the referee had warned him it’s good officiating from Howa because he couldn’t have been any clearer everything is at the discretion of the referee there’s no rule that states if he warns somebody twice for something then the third time you have to take a point the referee decides what happens but you just want to know where you stand as a fighter and Maru was left in no out there saying with cono that if you infringe in the way that you have been so far again then the point will go and that’s exactly what happens if you Mar you probably well I know I would be a little bit worried now because these are the rounds that you expect Congo to slow down and he still looks you know like he’s got his Sensers he still looks sharp maros just got to throw CAU into the wind here now and go for [Applause] it he hasn’t faded at all Congo if anything he’s got stronger as the fight that’s gone on Maru definitely needs both these rounds and [Applause] knockdowns if you’re Congo you’re going to grow in confidence these like I said these are the rounds that everyone thinks you’re going to feed and the more Reckless Marco gets going for it the more opening he going to leave for cono who razor sharp to counter him he just has to keep pressing the action here Maru and believe stick to that belief that he will get to him that’s all he can do here really is just maintain that resolution but it will begin to work left hand there didn’t land particularly clean head movement’s been good from Congo really good anytime they get close he’s there he’s dipping to the side rolling underneath rolling back out he hasn’t become a he’s never allowed himself to become a stationary Target he’s backed up onto the ropes he steps to Maru ties him up spins him gets back into the center of the Ring really good ring generalship from uh Congo tonight and he keeps Landing just a clean sweet back hand all the way through he’s been so accurate with that measured it really well hasn’t sent it all that far short right hand but he found the target again and again rela it’s okay being the bigger puncher in Maru and you can see that Congo is wey of the shots B on them into the final minutes of Round right solid right hand again there really sat down on that one he enjoyed that you can see the smile on his face as well he’s just grinning at marfia with no you can see that M will get frustrated with that yeah and you know we nailed him he walked him onto it and again good variety from Congo he’s very good been very good with the left hand the Jabs the lead left cooks and then to switch it lead him on would bring him onto the lead right hand that’s another thing now Mar’s got to think about it’s just dipping down every time Maru gets a little bit closer then you know marus having to go over him and [Applause] then so one more round to go here Chris Congo with a healthy lead and when you watch these two in terms of boxing technique there is quite a big gap between the pair of them yeah there’s that right hand beautiful shot and he’s been you know predominantly he’s been the left hand that’s been working so well final round and Maru has just got to go hell for l here he needs a [Applause] knockout and I agree mat that this is the best performance we’ve seen from Chris Congo eats a right hand there it’s not over quite yet but he has been excellent and let’s be honest he has to [Applause] be he’s have to be disciplined he’s have to be focused he’s start to stick with the tactics is in tactic tactics that he applied for the first few rounds of Holden it might not be great to watch but it’s strategic Wise It’s brilliant yeah had a tactic spot on and he’s both been razor sharp as [Music] [Applause] well he’s always been a fighter who’s never strayed very far away from the gym and you can see that because he hasn’t boxed since January last year but there’s no hint of any ring rusters people sometimes describe and there’s that left upper cup a reverse one two again there let off with the right hand dipped to his left hand side threw the left hand in from the angle look at that it’s just brilliant and then he goes underneath Mar has to come over the top a longer right hand that time marus still trying to just roll forward Congo dictate the terms tonight was control the pace control the range brilliant upper off that went up the middle just as Maru was trying to set himself to throw a big shot you can see that you know Congo is weier than big shots and Maru knows he’s got it you can see him looking for it but there’s the fitness and conditioning because the big left hand came in from Maru he dipped the knees and rolled away to his right hand side the upper body movement has been really really good that lateral movement and you got to be very fit to be able to maintain it to that level all the way through to the end I mean we’ve seen it from vdal earlier but this has got a lot more action and been a lot more uh shots thrown in between yeah much much higher intensity in this fight that was the word I was looking for so final few seconds of what has been a good good watch marku is stuck to his task He’s just never really had too much joy there’s not been an awful lot that’s happened in there to encourage him particularly in the second half of the fight but he did land the right hand there there goes the Bell both Corners play Victory but Chris cono for where we are sitting has done enough and done enough by a comfortable margin to take this one on the card close enough maybe up until halfway but the second half of the fight was all Congo yeah I think I think Congo clear winner there at the end in in a very competitive fight and a hard a hard thought fight but for me only one winner as his accustom the two trainers going over to the opposite Corners to Shake cams he looks a little deflated there glor Mar we brought maximum effort as he always does but he came up against somebody tonight in Congo Congo it was just sharp right on point right from the beginning yeah I think you just you know you see him there he’s just coming inside shot outside shot keeping it long when he had to trade he did and and I think that’s a brilliant performance casha picked up on it in the first round when he got up back up to O bang he got right close next to uh Marco spun him round and got back into the centering he never allowed uh Marco to really line him up or press Corner him and get his shots up he was very really slippery tonight Kongo I think not his last fight the fight before he had a really had really good performance Congo and it wasn’t it it didn’t make the the the the TV and it was unfortunate because he bed very very similar where he was slick he was sharp he was fast and he he showed intelligence and this is a huge win for him because he so badly needed it he got a big win against Luther clay and then against Michael mckinson and EO esman there’s two big fights since then he’s he’s come up short and we’ll have to wait for the score cards to be announced I’m jumping the gun slightly here but I just don’t see any possible way that you could score that any other way than convincingly in favor of Chris Congo and he’s been around boxing a long time and he is confident that he has got this he’ been out of the ring for a long time he’d been trying to get something going for himself for a long time he would have been obsessing about this mat to the point where it’s almost not healthy and then on the night he’s produced yeah he look he he was shot from the start and uh I think he’s he’s a good winner here ladies and gentlemen after 10 full rounds we go to the judge’s scorecards for the official decision judge Michael Alexander sees it 96 to 94 while judge Mark Bates sees it 96 to 93 and judge Steve graay sees it 98 to 92 declaring your winner by unanimous decision and now the IBO InterContinental Welterweight Champion Chris to slick C and you can see what that win means to him those are a very solid set of cards he deserved that win 100% and we”ll be hearing from him in a couple of [Applause] minutes congratulations you must be must be pleased with that we were just talking about how disciplined a performance that was from you thank you first of all I want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I came here we prayed I believed I trusted in the work I trusted in Barry Smith I trusted in Lee Wy and I trusted in Ben Davidson all you got to do is trust last year I took a l but that didn’t stop me from keep from from staying sticking to my sticking to IND the gym and keep working keep working and working and working and I always knew that one day will pay off and now I promise myself once I win this I’m going straight back in the gym and I’m getting back to work nobody is going to stop me I’m going to keep staying disciplined inside inside of the ring and training and outside just talk us through how it was for you in particular the second half cuz you really came into your own I mean for me I went to feel like the first couple rounds I felt he’s hour and I said yeah this this ain’t stopping me no way he’s not stopping me in my head I was just saying in my head stay disciplined keep working stay disciplined keep working and it paid off and you’ve had almost a year out of the ring Haven you as well that was be pretty way of course just remember look I’ve had a year at the ring and for sure listen it was hard for me it was really hard but one thing I done was stick in the gym I stayed in the gym 24/7 and and I kept kept kept working so that’s the main thing and I I I would like to say I’m actually proud of myself for doing that and so you should be your hard work is paid off congratulations indeed

  1. Marku always faking injuries when he loses. Realistically he's lost a few fights but corrupt judging won him a couple

  2. Florian Marku was all hype!! This shows he needs more training and less talking!! Talk the talk but won't walk the walk!! ❤

  4. Tbf marku dind't use his right hand at all in the fight bc he had a big cavity in it. If u just watch the fight properly u can see he couldn't pull the trigger. Besides, I don't see why people write off someone like marku after a loss hes explosive and has good wins under his belt especially against jenkins. Im not albanian btw in case you were wondering.

  5. Μου αρέσει που πανηγυρίζει στο τέλος ενώ ο άλλος τον έχει κάνει τόπι

  6. Chris Kongo win but Florian Marku its my favorite and hes is the Albanian king and one day he will take revenge 😡🇦🇱🤜👊
