when your conditions today about eight under for round how would you assess it yeah definitely tougher today I think we had great conditions yesterday it was as as good as we can get today was was pretty different um a lot of Crosswinds probably blue 10 to 15 all day um but played well good ball flights T to Green had a lot of opportunities and uh made a lot of puts as well Aon when you see a 59 posted and you you know that low scores are always out here did do you change your mentality heading into a Friday’s round not massively um we knew the conditions today were going to be quite different to how they were yesterday um there are some opportunities out there I think with how soft the course is playing the fairways are that a little bit wider uh you can also be a little bit more aggressive to the pins so um yeah the plan was to be relatively aggressive anyway but try and pick your moments especially in conditions like today um and I think we did a pretty good job at that you’re in a stretch a really good golf right now what’s kind of triggered that for you yeah um I feel like been playing well Tito green for large parts of this season um and that’s kind of continued over the last few weeks I feel in a really good place off the golf course um and then a couple of weeks ago I spent quite a while um on the greens my dad gave me a couple of tips uh started working with John Graham last week as well the putting coach who’s based out here um and that’s really helped to just kind of gel things together on the greens um so yeah putting all of that together it’s uh it’s definitely translated into on the course that said what did you kind of learn from Sunday of last week that you can apply now here kind of moving forward yeah I think the positives from Sunday was I I hung around pretty well um um I feel like probably could have done a better job in the middle section of the round on Sunday uh I dropped a few a couple of shots in there um just got a little bit impatient got a little bit ahead of myself as well um just a couple too many unforced erors which I think ultimately um cost us a little bit um so hopefully I can apply some of those things tomorrow and we’ll see how it goes over this weekend is there a good feeling knowing that you’re you were able to put that behind you and come out and start the week strong here yeah really pleased with that um I think overall from Sunday from the Hall of last week there were so many more positives than um negatives but I think with the negatives there’s always a few lessons which are in there which is great um but knew that we were playing some good golf um really like the look of the course when I got here on Tuesday so uh yeah was able to kind of reset and um start well obviously this week when you’re kind of In the Heat of the battle like that last week how hungry does it just make you to get right back into it again the following week yeah it’s it’s good to experience that um I think there’s always a fine balance between trying to want it a little bit too much to a point where it’s easy to get in the way of yourself and get in the way of performance but I think experiencing it definitely just gives confidence I think it builds another layer to the game it builds another layer to um the mental side as well so I think those are the biggest positives to take from an experience like last week um and whether that translates into this week or in the future um I think it It ultimately makes you a better player you mention your dad maybe giving you some tips I’ve heard some pretty touching stories of what he me the golf Journey what is his role at this point in your goer yeah um unfortunately I don’t get to spend as much time with him now as as I used to um just with living over here but he comes out a few weeks during the year over to Jacksonville he makes it to a few events over here as well um he comes to all of the events in the UK and he’s still pretty pretty Hands-On still there with me at every session whenever he’s out um I really enjoy having him around I think he he enjoys being around and um yeah we we’ve got a nice relationship on and off the course and um yeah he’s he’s really helped me over the last couple of weeks for sure thank you cheers
