do you know what Andy I’m screaming at them change it change it what the shape or oh just make some changes yes screaming at screaming at the tell CH what you shouting out you know we all do that don’t we I’m sure so many fans so many fans at home Shout at the Telly it’s amazing how often you do that when you’re watching a game or you’re watching something that that that that you know you get engrossed in you end up screaming and shouting at the Telly I do exactly the same but I just I don’t get at me why why wouldn’t say okay this is not working I mean I I you can tell sometimes when you’re watching a game you’re thinking you’re thinking rev It Up change it do something you know certainly I think it’s going to be really it’s a fascinating uh Le Dixon was going crazy on the tell wasn’t he cooms yeah we again because sometimes you do sit there look I mentioned this before Al I remember I’ve spoken sorry I spoke to venables David pleed big ROM once we were working at a tournament many years ago about this very thing about managers making changes and they and those three and they had like over that I mean ha to think how many games those three had between them um that you stand there sometimes on the sideline they were telling me stand there sometimes and you think and you don’t really know what to do to affect the game and managers in those situations like those three were saying that sometimes the best thing to do is nothing now it’s hard to it’s hard to toh to imagine that but I suppose unless you’ve been standing there unless you’ve been in that scenario because you can never understand exactly what’s going through their mind some like Jose very proactive with changes he sees somebody he don’t like Chang him get him off get him change get someone else on um but not everybody not everybody goes down that road but I like you I was thinking got to change this to uh to rev it up a bit H the dust has settled in England’s dramatic last 16 win over Slovakia the three lines look to win a first major title for 58 years to take on the Swiss 5:00 p.m. on Saturday live on talk Sport and now the quarterfinal lineup is confirmed we can expect a verdict on youth’s Investigation into Jude bellingham’s LW gesture I’m not having this by the way if they ban him it’s an absolute Scandal honestly I think so too Dar the Tottenham fan joined Jeff and Gabby on the show yesterday and shocked the boys with his opinion and what should happen to Jude he should be um banned because are we allowing people just because they’re good plays to behave like that I know they don’t they don’t ask the role models but they are and to me what he did was rude I just think it’s disgusting you’ve got kids watching it it’s about KN your audience he’s portrayed as this amazing player I personally think he’s overrated the problem in this day and age is we let we let superstars in this country get away with the absolute murder and we can’t Darren I bet Darren I bet you’re fun in the night out aren’t you mate I’m fun of the night out but I don’t behave like a you sound it mate Gabby we’ll see like look Al I don’t believe he should I don’t I don’t think he should be uh he should be banned I think if he’s fined or given a ticking off I think others have been banned though for for for making gestures I think so there probably is a precedent in that respect how how do they prove what he’s done though exactly and it’s two yeah exactly who it’s to I mean he’s turned he’s actually done this before when it for Madrid banned no he didn’t I don’t think so I don’t know but I don’t think so I know that he’s done something similar to that um I did laugh actually at some of the things in the in the sun today about what they they’re sort of trying to make excuses for him saying what he was actually saying some of them really funny but uh but look remains to be seen whether he’s going I mean look if he actually got if he got a red card for that then what’s he going to miss did he miss two I have no idea don’t know I mean that’s incredible if it no I I took no notice of it to be honest I I I’m like you I think most people would have were still were still so so amazed at what they just seen it was such a brilliant goal such an incredible moment such as in such high pressure moments is that worse than going to their bench and holding your ear going yeah what what what what well you could argue that if you SC if he scored a goal like that and he took his shirt off and ran around the ground and did something and ran towards opposing fans you can get completely lost in that moment it was so such a dramatic moment it really was so uh look doing what he did not ideal not great but come on don’t ban the guy yeah he John is now for the latest from the England Camp is our three lines corresponded F K others F morning morning Alan morning Andy hello f f what are the is the Jude Bellingham gesture has that been topical or are people moving on to the game now people are moving on to the game now um I mean there’s plenty of evidence to show that he has made that gesture before towards his friends in the stand so it wasn’t towards the Slovakia bench which is what the accusation was so I don’t think that the fa are too concerned uh with it obviously we just don’t know what what UFA will decide uh we should find out hopefully before the game uh but we don’t know these things take time sometimes but um I’m not expecting him to get a ban um and yeah I I I just think sometimes these things get blown out of proportion actually Jude uh was here in ffor yesterday with his parents the players were all given a day off and he was having an Italian in the main Market Square which is just down towards my leftand side and uh they’ve all been relaxed and uh and enjoying a bit of time off before they start their preparations properly for Switzerland on satday any injury problems that you’re aware of fa not that we know of Alan we’ve been away from the camp uh they closed it completely for media yesterday let the players see their families and have a little bit of chill time um and then always uh match day plus one if you like so Monday um it’s only really a a training session for for the players that that didn’t take part in the game um we’ve seen that they’ve you know done some yoga had some chill out time but we haven’t actually seen them on the grass since we saw them on Sunday in Gs and kers this morning is the first time that we’re going to do that around about 11:30 UK time so I’ll be able to tell you then uh whether or not there are any injury problems going forward fingers crossed not f is Luke Shaw just joining in now is he is he is he there obviously he’s probably got some of his own programs that he’s actually still doing but maybe after the the sessions but is he just joining in and he’s free and he’s he’s he’s he’s able to train normally yeah he has been since last Monday so you know we’re talking eight days now um eight nine days really uh but we still haven’t seen him and actually I feel as if that game the other night on Sunday was the perfect game to have introduced him in so I was surprised not to see him it feels a little bit as if he’d been brought along as a left back coach at the moment because you know we were promised well not promised but it was suggested that we might see him in time for the uh the second game uh in Frankfurt against Denmark that didn’t happen he had a bit of a regression from the injury that he suffered back in February and then we’ve not seen him since he declared himself fit for the third game and declared himself fit for the quarterfinal and yet we haven’t seen him so um I don’t know whether he’s going to take any part uh in this tournament yet but hopefully we’ll find out a little bit more when we speak to the uh the squad today so F no gahi absence with the cards so what what happens now do you think G GTH who’s he going to bring in does he play the same system or does he go Wing backs so I think he’s going to bring in ezri coner and it won’t matter which system uh that they play for him to bring in ezri coner because he can play in a three and he can play as a left back albeit he hasn’t done it very much in his senior career uh Jim proword was telling me the other day I think it’s about 12 minutes in total which was uh uh in the game one of the warm-up games uh leading into the tournament so still a bit of a risk I personally would like to see them go through at the back I think that that would give them the balance that we’ve all been looking for and the Swiss lineup with three at the back so matching them up I think would be really good they’ve got two Pacey Wingers uh and we need people that can that can nullify those threats we’ve got our own Pacey Wingers and we’ve got our own pace if we played that Wing back system so I think that that is the way of uh of unlocking uh the Swiss they’ve got threats across the pitch you know seven goals they’ve scored in this tournament so far seven different goal scorers and what’s always been leveled at them is that they don’t have this you know one kind of Superstar goal scorer if you like Jordan Shakir is getting a bit older now playing in the MLS uh so you know isn’t isn’t perhaps the player that that that he used to be um but they’ve got goals everywhere and that’s not necessarily something that you can level at England it’s only Jude Bellingham uh and Harry Kane who’ve been on the score sheet so far very nice one thank you to sha I think that goal against was a gem great goal for me it’s the best goal I’ve seen in the tournament so far there’s been there’s not been you’re right we have that that was a that was a brilliant I don’t think the credit for that’s that’s a difficult skill that is H that I mean that and and again look listen he’s at that stage of his career now how is he shakiri where you know he’s not going to charge around and he’s not going to run around an influence but he can always do that with that left Peg brilliant brilliant strike talks for breakfast with Alan Brazil Thursday and Oh no Bellingham was rude ๐ฎ๐
England has had the easiest path ever to reach to a final, but in someway these lot will find something to mess it up.
Switzerland wont sit back if joker Southgate thinks we can play like we have i can see us losing
He hasnโt played for months. There is no way heโs going to be fit and match ready to play. Southgate is a fool
What's worse about taking Luke Shaw is Southgate moaning he has no options at LB. Well why didn't you take a fit LB then you twit?!
Hopefully never, bang on about Shaw like he Roberto Carlos, he bang average
Bringing an injured Luke Shaw with no replacement is simply criminal. Chilwell, Mitchell or Doughty were all available but Southgate opted for Trippier and Gomez as cover. Its headscratching. The balance of the whole left side is completely off.
Put Gomez at left back, end of problem
Put a beard on her and itโs Gareth Southgate.
Good change of direction on big Ron Andy. Quick thinking ๐๐๐
why is the media pushing Shaw like hes the answer hes been injured for months, why even bring him if its about in form players
Luke Shaw IS a waste of time he should be no where near the England team..it's pure stupidity to keep a injured person on a team.grs a oxygen thief
Even if England were playing well, you'd still expect a last 8 spot anyway. You have to be in it to win it. At least we have an abundance of players to change things. Going for a 3-1 England win and we'll face Turkey in the semis. Come on England!
Shaw ain't played for half a year. ๐๐
It's coming home we are finally playing with a natural left back and have the easiest route to the final with piss easy teams
Why would sweaty sock Brazil be shouting at the telly in support of England?
We don't wanna see luke Shaw he not match fit
If you start banning players were do you draw the line and who decides what is rude or inappropriate.
Surely Southgate being 30seconds from loseing his job the other night he should be making changes and come to some sense wheb to bring subs on but i dont think he learns hes so stubborn
as if this one player gonna make a whole lot of difference
It's not a gesture,it's called freedom of speech.
Fair play to the young lad.
Come Saturday, when teams announced with no change 1 hr before match, I'm gona scream
3:17 I respect Jude & despite whatever ticked him off he should be more humble so ban him from the rest of the tournament
Is this a Scot and a Irishman talking about England
Itโs old news but Shaw was a mistake, canโt believe he brought him.
The answer to the question when will luke shaw next play football is next season for m utd at some point ๐คฃ in other words why on earth did southgate take him when he could of taken a player that is fit enough to play a part yet more genius management from southgate ๐คฃ
This Faye Carruthers is not a journalist, sheโs a cheer leader for โGarethโ. Pathetic to listen to her drivel on about all the โpositivesโ
Southgate wants him fit for next season
The guy hasn't played since February he is not match fit unless im wrong this will be an easy game for the swiss
Southgate doesnโt have a football brain. Heโs a PR man. When we are out and heโs gone, we can start proper, shame weโve wasted another easy route.
August possibly…
He wont be fit for the world cup nevermind these euros waste of a squad space๐ฎ
Shawโฆ when might we see him again? Sometime in the autumn playing for Man Utd.
Luke Shaw is a disgrace. I was behind him at the Toby carvery last week. He took all the beef, all the spuds and left no chocolate fudge cake for me.
Anyone seen Jobe recently, he looks like he's going to be a monster. Prem clubs need to sign him up.
If he gets banned , the world is full of flakes . Whatโs wrong with ppl . Cause the guy says who else ?? Come on . Whatโs coming of the beautiful game .
oh ye luke Shaw will make all the difference NOT
A bloke who hasn't kicked a ball since February is the answer he brake down in the first 20 mins if he plays well done southgate for taking him on a free holiday.
Just fine him and be done with it !
Faye is just Southgate in a wig
Luke Shaw is not over his injury.
He's not played for months.
Yet there is talk of throwing him into a Quarter-Final of an international tournament?
The absolute stupidity of Shaw's selection beggars belief.
It's akin to Sven Goran Erikson selecting a 17yo Theo Walcott for World Cup 2006 when he had neither a Premier League or senior England cap to his name. Jermaine Defoe would have been a great back-up for Michael Owen who tore his ACL in our second group fixture.
Gareth Southgate should have selected a natural left-footed English defender who wasn't already crocked.
Joe Gomez could be selected if Kieran Trippier needs resting.
But Levi Colwil or Ben Chilwell were surely available for selection before the tournament deadline.
By
Gareth is a defender …he could not see any problems …aint conceeded many but generally its amateur and still slogging it like pre tournament friendlies COE
Faye Southgate loves her brother
She literally knows nothing about football. Box ticker
I think Gareth took Shaw for his leadership skills, his experience despite him not playing is key. It's odd but just like Coady used to be, Shaw's that leader in the dressing room that can bring calmness amid the storm. He obviously would play a part in the semis – should we make it through. It's odd but Gareth's taken a huge risk when he's known for his conservatism. That's what his plan was. For the Switzerland game I can see us reverting to a back 3 which would work fine. I think he'll start the same 11 but in a different formation with Trippier and Saka as WB. Konsa in with Stones and Walker. I think he'll play Bellingham in a false 9 up top with Kane. If Jude is suspended then Palmer drifts in.
