[Music] [Music] talk we’re back with another episode being joined by the Bone Crusher Errol Zimmerman from Dubai how are you brother I’m good brother alhamdulillah cannot life cannot be greater like this fresh off a a win U Back in the K1 was that what you anticipated yeah you know uh the fight was okay but I really was not satisfied because I got a new opponent and uh yeah they gave me somebody new and I really wanted to knock him out and after a couple of kicks uh he couldn’t anymore so I for for myself I was not satisfied you know because I want to come inside there I want to knock somebody out and uh he stopped like a chicken you know after three kicks uh the fight was over so for me I was not satisfied that day was it an injury or he just couldn’t continue he couldn’t continue I gave him like three or four good C kicks really strong kicks and he couldn’t handle it so it was good for for my side but for me I be I I be uh I want to be in a war you know yes I really want to be in a war and go to deep Waters and yeah this was easy and you’re trying to stay active at the moment right have you got anything lined up uh at the moment no but uh I think my next one is going to be at ksw I’m going to fight uh MMA that’s what I think I don’t know for sure because you are uh in discussion and uh I’m just waiting this month 29 I go to Saro there is also K1 uh two of my uh friends are fighting there one is in the tournament and the other one have a single boat so I’m going to be cor cor are going to be Corner man for them and uh yeah just support you know yeah I I think it’s fascinating cuz I’ve seen we’ve seen you events before you’re a a teammate you’re in the corner I’ve seen you back in the day doing interviews and stuff like that you’re really involved in Combat Sports um how did you get into MMA cuz obviously kickboxing is your uh yeah kboing is my background you know what is funny when I was like uh 18 19 years old Alis over was always my Spence partner at the time at the golden Glory gym and he told me ER come do MMA do a little bit training it’s the future this and that but for me at that time it was really gay for me wrestling with a guy hugging and this kinds of thing was not my thing you know for me it was really gay so I told him no man [ __ ] up with this crazy MMA I don’t like it I don’t like the coral I just want to fight but now uh no I like you know I like I really like to fight and this MMA is is it’s a total different uh ball game you get the small glovs uh with kickboxing you see me when I fight I always go straight straight to the opponent but with MMA you need to move you don’t want to get hit you know because with the small glovs it’s like 50% when you when you touch somebody you’re going down so you’re I’m more in my six sense or I don’t know how to explain but I’m more in my six sense and uh I really I really like the challenge and uh in MMA I can challenge myself I can go in the Deep Waters uh you need to think a lot listen go to your corner and I I just like the challenge so I’m open for for MMA for boxing any any kind of fighting I love to do because I want to challenge myself and I want to see I want to let the youth see in my gym uh there are no barriers you know you need to comp uh I am my own competition so when I say no or something I’m scared and you know my nickname is the Bon I’m never scared so I always uh grab the opportunity to showcase uh to show showcase my style yeah I mean how did you come across that nickname it’s uh very cool yeah my my cousin stepen uh he had uh a mixtape from the Bone Crusher the song that I always come with and uh he give me the song He said hey this a good song for you go to uh for the ring Rock and I listen it and the song really suits me you know when I was young boy I go to the club and always in crazy fights and on the streets and when when I heard the song it really it was attached to me you know it was calling my name so I take the nickname always go with a song you know and last time with the with the k When I fought in Romania I give him the song and then uh I waiting to go to the ring and they put other music on I was really fun what the [ __ ] is this man come on it’s not my music but you know you need to channel channel yourself and go to the ring so I thought really okay this is the song Let’s go but it really took something for me because it was not my song and need put yourself in motion what kind of music do you listen to when you’re training I mean apart from that song what kind of motivates you to get moving everything uh everything what my trainer puts on uh sometimes it’s like a little bit house I will be for everything it doesn’t matter when I’m in the gym the the music must play then I go you know because music music have the Rhythm and when the Rhythm Is there you push your yourself because you want to go like on the beach you know you’re listening and then you it’s fighting is like dancing you know it’s like dancing so when they have good music it pressure you to to follow the beat or something it’s really string but when you are a fighter you know what I mean you’re from the south you’re from braa and I know that there’s a big uh like is it uh it was just recently like every for a whole week Carnival everyone’s partying yeah the football the football day it’s not football so in Brea every street is like orange yeah because Holland is playing yeah yeah yeah so is that like a really a place where people party a lot they enjoy the festivals and the music and everything yeah yeah every summer we have uh park there jazz festival uh sometimes live music with uh uh every kind of artist come there it’s very nice really nice city and uh uh how do you say it students students you have uh a lot a lot of Pops there so it’s really cool and that’s also where your gym is your your uh hammer gym Hammer gym in Brea we yeah I think it’s one of the best gyms in the in the world my trainer also one of the best uh trainers around the world he just traveled a lot to America giv seminars there I’m really blessed you know my first trainer was uh case Bas that I started when I was 11 years old and after that I go to cor hamers and Roman Deckers but first I go to Raman uh I was tring long time with him he was my teacher my ad all my everything you know and after a couple of years I rolled into golden Glory the the big guys I and then cour hamers teach me so uh I really was blessed in my life that I could train with r deers and he gave me the knowledge on everything that he been through and training with Goan saki khid uh many many fighters bro many many Legends legends from from from before you know yeah and uh now I’m the only one who still is fighting I’m 38 38 years old and I still love him and for me I feel myself like I’m still eting and yeah I really feel good you know and just so happy that I can show the youth in our gym what they can do what they can expect when they go inside the ring that’s why I always love to go to them to the fights speaking with them giving my knowledge because that knowledge I get for Roman and for the other guys also when I was younger you know and let them try to understand what they can expect when they go inside inside of the Ring because for me the fight in the ring is not hard training is harder than than the fight and how how you say um when you know this when when when you know the training is harder than the fight you can uh unlock it and you can see a lot of things so that’s what I trying to give the you now yeah so that’s amazing so you’re really like you’re taking on that like um role in the gym where you’re the guy who’s everyone’s looking at and saying this is where the experiences and the knowledge is when you were younger not only me because of course we are we are all the same in the gym yeah it’s not because I did a lot of things I’m I’m the boss or I’m the S we all the same F K1 or there but I tell them listen always stay humble we are all the same you are not more than me and I’m not more than you we all human we are all normal human beings and we all want to fight and give the audience something nice to see and that’s what what I told them when you’re inside of the ring you have 9 Minutes 9 minutes you can show yourself take this opportunity and show yourself you know because a lot of a lot of the young guys now they getting stressed or I’m fighting in infusion or I’m fighting at glory or fighting K1 or it’s a lot of pressure but you know without without our Fighters there is no glory there is no there is no K so it all depends of you if you’re fighting in the backyard and you’re doing good and people are speaking about you they’re going to invite you because you are an interesting uh guy you’re funny to look funny to see so this big organization they need you and and it’s all about the fighter not the organization this is really fascinating that you’re saying this because uh one of the one of the things that I when I was doing my research and and watching your stuff and and these kind of things I realize how much of a personality you have and like you’re really uh you’re open about what you think what you feel you’re open to having a laugh I’ve noticed that when we spoke a couple of times that you smile and joke and stuff like that and sometimes it feels like at the moment in boxing in UFC in MMA you have guys who are more willing to talk but within the kickboxing World guys are a bit more quiet or they don’t really show their personality too much and maybe that’s why it doesn’t have the same uh fire like it did in the K1 where you know it was on a world stage you think for me a lot is fake brother I even don’t watch kickboxing anymore when I watch fights is boxing you will see because that’s for me uh real this kickboxing and stuff the people are like Tik Tok or Instagram you know they just want to be pretty and uh get followers of this kind of things it’s not real it’s only yeah I don’t know I don’t know how to explain but for me it’s fake it’s fake but do you mean like the the the the social media side of it as opposed to the actual fighting itself yeah a lot of people talk and when they go go inside of the Ring they do nothing yeah they’re they’re blocked they speaking speaking W I’m going to do this I’m going to do that and on the five day they only like this and God yeah they throw like three punches and they’re in shock block you know everybody talks on nice game but when it’s time for action there is no Showtime oh but that’s that’s one thing when you look up your highlights and your fights you can really see that you are going for it and uh I mean you’ve got I think close to 40 Kos and stuff like that and you’re willing to take a risk and that’s professional brother I have also a lot of amateur fights you know I have many many many knockouts I have over 100 fights 100% so this what what isud reading on Wikipedia is only professional fights so I come with a lot of experience um you know cor ham Roman Deckers my management at the D B bone I was really uh how do you say it an explosive guy uh I was in every place wow wow are you know and then they teach me stay humble have respect for everybody you know stay calm I have a lot of energy and then in the Years coming coming by at a young age and I I know who who where I am you know and yeah I I fell up to this person now so yeah I know really who I am and I’m happy with myself happy what I did I have no regrets for nothing yeah because with all this that we say stupid things and good things what I do in my life I’m the person who I am today no and I mean it seems like there’s going to be exciting things to come from you so you know that you there’s been a few things like uh this thing with Ry I think that you’re gunning for another Rico fight um what’s yeah I mean are you just having fun fights or no bro I’m let let me say I’m warming up for Rico I’m Waring up for Rico I’m uh I want to lose like 10 kilos more I want to fight like my old in like my old days when I fought with Raymond biosi I was like 105 108 kilos so I need some tuneup fights to come at the I’m there already but I need some more Rhythm lose my weight you know when I last time fighto I got injured and I need my revenge I need my revenge we now three times the first time I give him a heavy knockout the second one he win on the points and the third one I get injured and um been uh I’ve been uh away from the sport Glory didn’t call me for uh new contract and stuff for me they backstep me you know but you were like the first Glory show right like you were on the first Glory shows brother we start we started Glory yeah we started it and yeah after the time they didn’t call me and this kind of things maybe because I got injured they never called me how are you doing how is your injury you know when you when you when they need you they they come to you when you get injured nobody call you so I wanted to tell all the fighters around the world always take care about yourself because when you when you when you at light take everything what you can because when you’re down nobody is coming to pick you up or going to help you you know so now I need to K take care of myself I do what I want I give I give Glory a couple of opportunities uh to put me in the tournament yeah and on internet they was telling uh we don’t know who to call we have no we have no uh we have no Fighter for this or that and I called them I told them put me against R it’s going to be a heavy fight people want to see this and they didn’t call like in the couple of years how many times a heavyweight fall out they know me is one call send the contract and I’m there they’re scared they’re scared over that they don’t want the champion to lose that’s why Jamal is not fighting that’s why I’m not fighting that because we are we are a d you know and uh do you still watch any of the glory fights and or you don’t you don’t really keep up with it or sometimes I only I only watch the last time the tournament was crazy was really good yeah my Countryman he won the tournament so I was really happy for him but I watch only some some of some of the fights not all because all of them yeah no the the cards are not so good yeah you see when you go to Glory the events are even not sld out like before so only when there are fun fights I go to watch so how did you end up fighting in the K1 again and one thing i’ I’ve been noticing when I again when I was just looking stuff up that you travel a lot like you travel through a lot of different organizations you’re fighting around the world and it looks like obviously kickboxing is based largely in Holland but around the world people are slowly oh maybe not even slowly but it seems to be very popular or getting more popular nowadays what can you say about that before it was more popular there were a lot of a lot of fights a lot of organizations so in the old days we fought a lot and um I think now it’s you know a lot of things happened in Holland on this events and stuff so I’m happy that that are fans again a lot more than uh usual but we need more competition they need to make more uh like uh uh infusion or other brands before we had a Showtime uh King of the Ring gentleman production a lot of events you know to grow the fighters and in this days you don’t see it you see only glory and infusion yeah it’s really sad it’s really sad and in the all days there were a lot a lot of uh like uh companies yeah so the were more fights what do you think about celebrity kickboxing so like you know like at the moment you’ve got all these boxing crossovers where you’ve got like Jake Paul and Mike Perry and or Mike Tyson and I’m thinking like what if some of these guys crossed over into kickboxing uh you know guys who are maybe boxers it’s a different ball game like like I get it with boxing is easy because you only need to focus on your hands you know but kickboxing is a whole different ball game and it’s not for everybody brother really this not forever it’s the same if you do MMA celebrity MMA it’s not going to sell because it’s going to be garbage you know you don’t want to look at boxing okay everybody can drop a punch or something but keep boxing all left okay okay just cuz I I I was thinking maybe like I’ve seen like you know back in the day I think you mentioned francis’s name or uh it’s the dream this a dream fight for me brother yeah you know when everybody was scared of him in the U see I was calling him out I I sent D white messages I want to fight with him you know he’s a really strong guy I’m not lying to that but that’s the thing I’m never scared I just want I want to uh run to the fire you know and he is really fired so it’s going to be it would be a really nice fight yeah for sure are there any other names apart from Rico or Francis like who were on your radar or you know anyone that you in an ideal world that you’d like to fight brother I had nobody never on my raadar I was the Raider you know when I fought with Rico who was he I give everybody I give opportunities nobody was a name I was always the name people I don’t know want to say people were scared for me but I’m I’m from young age on a made name you know so yeah okay now Rico is Champion his name he make name for himself but when I fought him I was the big name and after me he makes name for himself winning from B and then yeah it is what it is but I give everybody a opportunity when they call me fight this guy fight that guy I don’t care who they are I just want to fight I mean when you were in Romania Andrew Tate was there uh what do you think he’ll ever return to kickboxing did you discuss anything like that with him no yeah he told me he really he really loved to fight and in the old days he was really uh uh enjoying it but yeah maybe if they call him some some other guy will fight you know when you’re a fighter you always stay a fighter you know your your blood in your jeans but uh yeah time will turn time will turn and so you’re not going to fight Remy just just so I understand Remy yeah Remy Remy SC of my man no you know that was also a dream match I fought him 2009 I think yeah now this he’s older he stopped it’s stupid to calling out it’s a dream match yeah because uh it really was it it really was a good fight between us but the time is over yeah okay he stopped and uh call him out now is is is I understand how how do you think kickboxing has changed since when you first started I mean you’ve had Ramon in your in your corner ferocious guy uh your teammates all of the guys you’ve mentioned just fight so aggressively so technically but when you look at kickboxing now and you see the guys that you’re getting matched up against so you’re watching what do you think the level changed I think people get soft bro they got softer you know the old guys really were hard the training hard I think the but it’s same like football mod you know and uh yeah time changed and uh the people now are for me weaker I think yeah but yeah same like football in the past the football uh was uh only kicking that that that there and everybody got the new system you know but for me I think everybody wants to fight like Rico Point points and that nobody comes to fight anymore that is uh yeah I don’t know what to say on that but no it’s not my it’s not my style but do do you think that maybe people feel that way because I don’t know like uh trying to take care of themselves avoid injuries and stuff like that I know it’s not the way you should be fighting if you want to be entertaining and get results but I’m just trying to figure out why people fight like that as opposed to how you guys did you have to ask different people that because everybody have their own fishing yeah the own fishing with that so depends of the person I don’t come inside the ring to make points nobody pays you for f hour you know so if I can go inside of the ring in one minute or 10 seconds or less bro take it and leave it I don’t want to fight for 9es minutes you know 9 Minutes fighting is really hard most of the time you cannot even walk to your car or to the hotel you know somebody to car you so I always say to my to the to the guys inside the ring before I go I I tell them this I go in and out um okay let’s let’s do some rapid fire questions so if you had to pick a preference between hands and and legs so more of a puncher or more of a kick of yourself I would say 50/50 okay 50/50 because yeah my hands are mive but my legs also so it’s really in combination so 50/50 okay um top three uh favorite matchups or opponents that you’ve had back in the day yeahi and I for was a big guy in amster Mar was also really nice was yeah was nice because this was s the marina he told me come come and then I knock them knock him all the people you know hold yeah yeah yeah still to this day give me Bruce bumps but you know there are a lot of fights also I like my fight with Eric so was in the beginning of my career I was also a professional but also hard fighter this guy I knocked him I gave him knees to the head and good straight uh uh Fist and his head go like this and it’s full power and it just coming and it just coming I was it was unbelievable you know yeah I have many many great fights and I fought I fought uh M yeah mov I fought with him uh I was like 17 or 18 years old was uh if I want W that tournament I couldn’t be earlier in the last 16 but I lose for him in the half final this guy he was so fast when I punched him he slip away and oh it was crazy this fight will stay in my in my head forever uh also Sami Shield was really enjoy enjoyable really great fighter this is the only guy that put me in bed for two days bro I was so he give me the FR kicks the only guy that hurt me in my life in my career the for the front kids were unbelievable how do you fight a guy like that who’s number one so big but he’s agile as well yeah he’s he’s really a technical guy if he was if he was smaller he will fight same like r v yeah but he was so big he his manages uh how you say his distance very good his JB is very good yeah and he have good move movement but he’s so tall is is is is really crazy but if you look at him and H man Cho H man chy couldn’t fight yeah and Sam Shield was really a technician so respect to him I really love him really good good guy also my old teammate and I fought him twice it’s a blessing to share the ring with him yeah y uh you’ve also spoken to Mike Tyson in an interview he was also known to fight tet guys what was that like he’s uh like in the old days you know really really nice energy and at that time he was a little bit down I think yeah so I hope to see him again and have a beard or something smoke with him and left my he’s got a shop in Amsterdam I think right he’s got no no if he was there I was there with him do you think he should fight uh Jake PA or do you think it’s a bad like it’s not a good idea I hope I hope he’s going to knock uh we should see we should see you fight Jake Paul if uh if I don’t know if you’d be interested in you will not do that man I’m too happy he I don’t know what what way to fight but if the opportunity opportunity opportunity will uh come I will never say no no they know where to find me so uh yeah I will never say more it was really good to see you uh you know back in the ring active and you know it sounds like you’ve got various things coming up I hope you en enjoy your time in Dubai and you got to hit us up when you get back any message for your fans I just want to say thank you to all the people for believing in me supporting me and uh all the next messages that I get after my fight and always a lot of people ask me always when you going to fight you are a legend you are this so thank you for all the kind words and uh yeah you’re going to see me soon again inside the ring or inside the gate yeah man just just let us know so we can help uh make sure that people get a word about your your next fights and stuff like that I will look at my Instagram uh when I have something coming up I’ll always put it on my Instagram and if you see something give me a call or something then we arrange thank you so much brother thank you thank for [Music]
