final round but has been caught by choim who’s never won on the KL PJ to some fabulous golf from Cho including a birdie on the ninth to move into a share of the lead with hun kyung at 11 underp rather congested at 9 under and 8 under is a couple of contenders looking to line up behind your top two should they slip up but hun Kung with a lovely wed shot into the accessible pin on the n9th has given herself an opportunity to move back into that solo lead with nine holes to players if we head out to the golf course this is quanon lost her card at the end of 2023 plays on the dream tour now had a huge opportunity for her to snag some much needed Korean one and some valuable points in her bit to reclaim full status on the klp J2 got into that final group courtesy of a 66 yesterday morning she currently 8 underpar just Treading Water this Sunday Kim on he another looking for a big Sunday finish she’s four under through the turn but unable to collect a fifth birdie of the day they’re at 10 she’ll stay in that group at 9 under soan Jung looking for a second win in 10 months one the kge daily ladies open at sunning Point towards the end of last last year that is a rather tentative effort her third gives you a good idea what the players see when they stand on this 10th T elevated well above the level of the Fairway pink sanded Fairway trap very much in play if you do pull a t-shot but if you leak it a little right easy for that ball to bounce off that Downs slope so jump across the cart path and find some of those trees that flank so many of the holes here at Birch Hill got an absolute driving Clinic yesterday did Park y Kung we missed one Fairway on Saturday [Music] that’s excellent on the narrowest portion of this 10th Fairway no less well function sill would be a little annoyed that she didn’t birdy the 10 missed about a 4-footer she can attack this pin at 12 but not there left of this re on a down slope that could be a little bit of a problem for shinil back to 11 just shows you get slightly out of position with the t-shot and you could be scrambling up a hole where you’d be thinking you have a chance for good birdie go back to 11 just left or right birdie look for yuju and she goes taking her to eight under can get a little uncomfortable for Troy M steep up here slope so it’s going to upshoot this ball not what you want to do when there’s a bit of gust into your face that’s well [Music] managed sh still get a good touch from there just about kept it in the fa wait looks like the breeze switched on her that’s pushed it down wind and got a little further than joia Lim would have liked back to 12 and bang for a par three [Music] for for spe I think she’s potentially a little bit too far back to reach into so Joe we’ve seen a layup each of the first two days imagine this will be sticking to thato for kill a head still on the green she’s got three wood in hand but she is on the UPS slope it is downwind so perhaps thinking about going for it in espe especially with Troy here Rim in little spot of bother pitching back into the breeze does make this slightly simpler for Choy that’s very nicely judged up to 11 and nbol per second shot needs to start finding some birdies you just don’t see hun Kung coming back to the field at all that’s going to help good shot over that little spine which will kick this to the left excellent roll from there for saan J K he up at the 12 just got an 8 ey in here so clearly playing downwind this should be a bit of a bonus birdie here for try kill and she’ll have it great birdie there for she’s going to move herself into the picture breaks out of that group at 9 under [Applause] these puts can get a little uncomfortable we playing in swirling Breeze and here intentions are clear from Park K she’s waiting for the green to clear this club has let her down in The Cauldron of Sunday pressure before it pass the first test on this back nine yes it will hardworking five will keep choim within one thank you not going to be protecting that lead he’s going on the attack here what a shot it’s just going to hang on to the back edge of the green but two Good Hits From parun Kong at 10 she’s got Eagle put at the par five mol going give this one a chance downhill right to left for birdie at 11 oo it broke back the other way have a misery there for both myself and kimman Bill so junk poorly up here a hanging Li coming out of that left rough going to be hard to control especially down Breeze not as good as she could have done from there Kung up at the 11th any real dangers if you really badly block one out to the right here there’s a penalty area but shouldn’t come into play so as we head into the back n on Sunday it’s Yun Kung leading by one with an eagle put to come at the 10th for for for for for for for for it is a putt for Eagle but she’d be content to get down in two from here par and K around 55 ft that needs to hurry that needs to hurry never easy putting downhill into the breeze as we go to 13 bin Sil and outside chance for a birdie here four birdies in a row to end her front night it’s been a string of pars since for bang that par train will continue jum just have to give this another player Falls victim to that pesky Fringe short of 12 you for for [Music] uh stopping it on this front portion of 11 Green shouldn’t be a challenge from the middle of the Fairway for saw junk the equation she’s got to factor in is how much this helping Breeze is going to affect the flight of this golf ball from 115 she’s done the calculations well that’s superb she’s an experienced campaigner Park K put that disappointing three part at 10 out of her mind not bad decent chance and sometimes you’d rather have that sort of length butt than a little five six footer cuz the expectation to make it really drop significantly and allows you to put a slightly Freer stroke on it now n Bell for par at 12 well done looks like Bang Shin SS found the bunker on 14 this could be a bit of an awkward length for a big hitter like bang 76 yds left but if she CPS this nicely she get a lot of spin on it okay well done come on silion got to start making some birdies that will help that’ll definitely help excellent shot from quanio yon so parity at the top of the board at 12 under par between Yim and Kung mung just two shots of drift as we’re into the back nine here at the 10th edition of the MCO Mona Park ladies open e for for for for for oh we saw bid Sil P from there earlier and unfortunately Kim and he has done almost the exact same thing miss it just a little low all the momentum on her side takes to the 12T oh that’s a fine shot that’s an excellent shot from Troy Yim will it stay wi are softer today and yeah that’s going to hang up on that little ledge Yin Kung back at 11 to get her nose out in front again it’s got to travel it’s not going to and another bit of a tentative effort from Park let’s not forget about Troy mum amidst all this she’s only two back that is going to feed off that slope even better shot from Troy M Kong s Jung converts joins mung at 10 under still any one of I have to say six seven players including bankin s could win this Championship but bangs a little bit further up the back n and could do with a pter two starting to drop birdies have dried up since the eighth she’s not going to find another there at 14 [Applause] awkward here ball well above her feet trying to get to a right pin that’s why you just got so much draw spin on the ball it’s very hard to get that to stick on her di but she’s done well TR to move within one no was a good put just a little unlucky this PA three T visually rather intimidating off the te you’ve got that massive drop off on the right towards that c a green side bunker penal here on the right not going to be a problem what is an issue for the players however is this very crumply crinkly green that bin cut just Five Paces from the left Edge on the back side of that front left B you can see so very important to try and negotiate get your right Club selection give yourself a decent look from past pin High anything short right will tend to funnel towards the front of the green on the te will be so on pretty good there F pin hype going with the three-wood here on 13 choim it’s a short but tricky hole this par for you leave yourself a full yardage in but you try to leave yourself in that flat sport of the Fairway which what is what tro your Rim has done push it down too far you end up with a bit of an awkward hanging lilac Kim in ball back to 11 and saw J [Music] pretty solid as well there from [Music] s also going with three-wood is Troy mang at 13 just a little too long runs through the Fairway there here k he never surrendered the lead thus far on Sunday that is a classy shot for p here in Kong excellent at the 12 B again needs to give herself better looks at birdies cuz you just can’t expect every 20 footer to drop not on the back N9 Sunday oh she seems to be following bang shinil wherever Bang’s gone Kim yon he has found the similar spot saw on 13 green which is in bangs bunker on 14 sound Cleaner contact but out to the right that’s fine going to be a quick putt though for Kim sure conso y’s going to give so and Jung a pretty good idea of what this part’s going to do should move a little left to start then maybe try and move back right it approaches the cup [Music] right [Music] so well placed t-shot on 13 what can Cho Yim do from the middle of the Fairway in 105 M stuck it close with this club back at 11 that’s pretty good into 13 saw in Jung for right around 25 ft just has to give it a bit more pace and quu on did great try really good can’t ask for anything more than that up so I mention this one’s going to be rather quick for Kim at the 14th SL right there no that’s full turn as well these Queens look at least a foot foot and a half slower than they played through the first couple of days and this was like a bit of a misadventure for who I can only assume is Bid s left of 15 option about to hack this one back out towards the Fairway you think she possesses great speed and power but with that Speed come some problems if you just happen to catch a slightly offc Center hit now hun kyung another good birdie look from this range GB more positive with the pace here no another weak effort that is mildly concerning for parun Kung yes they’re stress fre passs but doesn’t really that ball the chance to drop for a birdie M Kong step cut of R it’s a releasing looking light has to land this maybe 98 just allow for some Chase unlucky pitcher into the UPS slope but still outside look birdie for Choy the two Choice with chances at the Par Four now third shot into 50 for buin Sil [Music] tester for power for Kim at 14 at the moment sharing fifth oh dear dear she’s got work to do coming back it’s four under the C today not a drop shot on her card and it’s going to change at the end of this 14th [Music] H final group of the day made their way up to 132 and you can see how narrow that landing spot is if players do elect to hit driver off this te P kyung did it yesterday and did find that little Nick of the fair but you see a lot of players hanging back with three W trying to leave themselves with a bit more Club in but coming out of the fer and that’s what quanon is hoping to do here with the hybrid Hybrid Club of choice for saw junk as well it seems sh is it going to be driver for Park and K that’s the question just don’t think it’s necessary you don’t gain that much pushing it that far down the Fairway you also chance being on a slight down slope for your second shot but it looks like the big stick in the hands of hun Kung got to be so precise here you turn it over a little bit that one to stick a blind second shot of sorts for soy and junk from this Valley left of the 13th the question here for quanan is is this ball going to come out hot or is it going to come out dead from this right rough it’s just sitting down a fraction you get one turning over this ball is going to keep collecting towards that lower left hand side of the green so almost got to look out towards the the right Edge the right Fringe from this angle good smart shot there well played Now new Championship leader Troy Yim sticking to the game plan just going with the the three-wood at the 14th I think she’s found that right hand bunker but is’s fine enough back where don’t think the lip’s going to be an issue for her he it looked like a flat live from our Fairway camera but ball’s still going to be above her feet slightly the first time this Sunday she is chasing this is the yardage where we’ve seen her do her best work throughout most of her career a little feel wedges not her best but not bad at all so Jo Rim’s fifth birdie of the day sees her enjoy a one shot lead over par and Kong as we come into the closing stages of this 10th a Mona Park ladies open for e for for for for this can’t get a little uncomfortable for sawy and junk looks to land this in The Fringe just have it skip left not bad not bad there is been a cleaning up to be done for S Li looks to be okay for chier Rim compact at Sand so quite conducive to pick this one cleanly just maybe caught that a fraction heavy but no real damage done that’s an okay spot to leave it just short of the green quo young this would be a real bonus for her going to be slow though give it enough pace great try really good effort Le young second into 14 hi kill she strike back here at 13 oh so very close for Park that was a more positive part that is the momentum shifted to tro your so but [Music] so good positive try but just gave herself too much work to do there second shot for Jo Kung into 14 a wonderful shot at that into the back of the jar it’s going to be a bogey that’ll drop saw junk back into a share of sixth fifth excuse me so under normal circumstances a fairly basic up and down for Chim just needs to carry this about 6 feet on with the green everything should feed downhill and to her left Sublime touch from your championship leader we head up to 16 and catch up with heong on 17 left to this demanding power four that’s Stella a shot DJ young to get within one of Parkin Kung and two of her playing partner try to get away but it didn’t in she goes and lij with backto back birdies gets into solo third kill staying aggressive sticking with a gun she’s got driver again at 14 okay solidly done J birdie putt to try and get herself up to 9 under keep going yes well done she’s four under PA for this final rounde she’s getting better and better every day open with a 70 a 69 yesterday she’s got the par five 18th still to come for M Kong well she could match the efforts of Lee J young and to 11 underpar as well very much looking like a four race at the moment between Mong Jong Hong and Yim fabulous three from Jo M unless Kim mol can find a way to run the tables coming home you feel like she’s going to come up short in her bid to pick up a maiden title this week see holding on to that club face trying to keep it from turning over left that’s a good shot she’s got a [Music] chance for for for for so Jun bit of right to left in this for her but the opportunity to try and keep Pace with Troy Yim got a chance oh my goodness that was a great roll and unfortunately it’s only going to be a par as we go up to Kim in Bell for a much needed birdie at 15 like I said pretty much has to birdie home to have any sort of chance and as she hit that hard enough no she hasn’t agonizingly close for m [Music] H longest birdie put she’s had on this back n but the result is going to be the same another frustrating PA just wonder if that three part at 10 is playing in the back of her mind a little bit right side of 15 Fair we pin in the front left you can see it there at the top of your screen [Music] goiu 2022 Champion up on the last 4 under power already today this for a birdie at 18 as well done clearly likes this test at birchill that’s a lovely round of 67 to end her week that’s the clubhouse Target set at 9 underpar well played coiu now Li young perilously close to that drainage cover but KN be able to get relief cuz it’s not impeding with her swing or stance always does play in the back of your mind she’s lost this one right gets a friendly kick up onto the green and it’s actually worked out okay the J Young we head to IM J that Maserati hole inone prize still yet to be claimed a couple of groups still to come through this penultimate hole you’re in good break here right side of the Fairway but she’s on the up slope so can take a more direct line at the pinch she’ll get good elevation on this from 102 oh just a little shy but not too bad that’s a pretty makeable spot where she’s left it now Kim shot into 16 is’s this left for birdie okay up to nine and apart there Kim y on he good sh good sh all fore quanon first to go on 15 it’s passs all around for this group back at the 14th [Applause] [Music] he kill me might start to feel a little bit panicked here that this tournament’s just slipping out of her hands not through any falter for Ron she’s hit plenty of good shots but some inspired play from choim in the group ahead has left her chasing into the last four holes of this final round K head on the green color of rough should be a problem for her scooch this one back in stance a little bit get her little steeper with their angle of attack minimize the amount of grass CAU between Club face and ball ni the play here can she keep her foot on the gas pedal second into the 15th now and that’s a pretty good shot going to be putting downhill but with the greens playing a little bit slower than they have for most of the week that’s okay that hill slightly touch tentative but be a safe part if J right to left her in this for a birdie at the 17th remember CL Target set by goru already at 9 okay just creeps it in for Joy M Kong’s PA looks to be Leo one on 18 reading player of the a step C of rough for so junk with that front pin that steep up slope just short of the green I’m not sure if she lands this short whe it’s going to bounce up might just stick in that slope she pctures us on the green this could go releasing on towards the back Edge casing point just like that human have a little bit more control on this Opera out of the Fairway slightly below her feet so she can aim this left and just let it slide doesn’t have to fight the slope a nice comfortable pitching wedge yardage for her 111 [Music] one will end her week at eight under par three time winner on tour already this year kill on 16t just got to keep this ball down the left hand side downhiller for Lui H 3 at 16 got a chance oh lii H three back to back birdies after that chip in at 6 15 follows up with a birdie there at 16 so it’s still yearing by one over Kong just a handful of holes left to play this Sunday afternoon at Birch Hill for for for for for for for just a gentle downhill slope to contend with for soan Jung’s third at 15 looking to putt this one another great try from saw the PS just aren’t dropping as easily as they were in that opening round of 60 3 up to Troy mong’s second at the 16th green that has proved tricky to hold over this weekend lost that one left in the hurry you just see that club tangle around the huzzle of the club turn it over turn the face left and never really had a chance of staying online now C for birdie and a share of the lead at the 15th that’s not going to get there PS have dried up for Park as well no one really making a run at Choy rim on this back line [Music] [Applause] this Troy y just 101 left it’s a little smooth pitching wedge for Choy and that is an excellent shot could give herself a little bit of breathing space if she can find a pivotal birdie here on the 16th DJ young certainly had the momentum in a corner picked up two birdies in her last three holes Three Hills remaining for your final group on still with the honors the wind continues to howl here at the Yong pong Resort got to keep your head on the swivel on this closing stretch any ER t- shot will be sent into the bir trees [Applause] popular spot there the left rough on this 16th hole this one hitting a little right for par hun K but we’ll kick back onto the Fairway I say it’s hard in golf to back up a really low round with another one so on Jong 63 to start and she’s been sort of stuck on mine under power ever since I Trin me Kong lot of left to right that last third of this put putting across a bit of a spine [Applause] K hit it the 17th some t-shot to get it this close some too was at a 10 under Le J young uphill right to lefta for a birdie at the 16th get it back within one of choim to the last and he jum third shot to the par [Music] [Music] five so big putt here for Choy not a tough read bit of right to left to take a two- shot lead into the last two holes oh my goodness it’s just stayed High don’t fault her that was a great try indeed she certainly thought she had [Applause] it it’s the frustrating thing about golf can do everything right hit a really good PT sometimes still still won’t 10 for the former Korean women’s open Champion 70 69 68 nice tournament for m Leong had a good look at that Maserati with Troy Yim she’ll be first on the [Music] team just a fraction left there for Le on birdies at three and four and then this lovely shot at the ninth to turn in 33 move alongside parun kyung at 11 under then at 13 Yim would add another birdie at 11 and then this one moved her one clear [Music] 14 Troy Mong who played alongside choim would just start to put something together that was a lovely swing but it would be her final birdie of the day is 68 to finish in a share of third 15 EG H 3 just off the edge of the green chip in for birdie [Music] here she would add another at 16 although boy at the last somewhat a sour way to end her week at nine underpar 16 this was pivotal for parun kyung uphill second shot wedge in hand all over the flag stick to go back into a share of the lead the choer rim at 13 underp [Applause] [Music] and both players had puts to win it in regulation he him in the penultimate group not even close all that started left off the p oface and then this was an even poorer attempt for parun kyung second it left her Club think she knew that take long though K had the chance to apply the pressure this birdie putt finding its Mark the only time she’s birdied 18 all week was good enough to hand her her eighth career title this one had to go for choim she gave it a mighty effort but it always looked a little low the bridesma once again on the kpj tour with a talented Cho in this one’s going to sting when the dust settles I’m sure she’ be
