championship and deny Muay Thai title holder prajin Shai a chance to become a two sport king prajin chai arrived in one Championship as a mu Thai pound-for-pound great he became a global Superstar after defeating Thai icon Sam and taking the one strawweight Muay Thai World title on his debut but his Reign was cut short after an upset loss to Italian Mor rocken star Joseph leri in May 2022 after winning three straight bouts including the interim World title prajin chai booked the long awaited rematch against Joseph leri to unify the one strawweight Muay Thai World [Music] Championship pound for pound one of the great Cai 2.0 they call him pentai versus the Cinderella story Joseph leri on the the edge of their seats for this one inside a phone booth how about that leri showing zero three-time one strawweight Muay Thai world champion attempts to add a second belt to his collection proin chai takes on former title holder Jonathan Della for the vacant one strawweight kickboxing belt at one Friday fight 68 the Italian Canadian Della arrived and won with an undefeated record Della showed why he was so highly rated when he defeated Chinese standout Jong paman to claim the inaugural one strawweight kickboxing world title for his first world title defense debella put up his Lightning Fast offense against the brawling style of Thai Australian Contender Daniel mini t Williams in October 2023 to win the One strawweight World title would be an absolute dream come true this idea started when I was 5 6 years old 25 years later I get to actually experience being on the highest level of martial arts to fight for the kickboxing World title and I’m not going to stop [Applause] there when the ring announcer announced my name meant the world to me and my family we worked all our lives for it I trained hard uh my whole life since I was 2 years old I was just thinking of all the hard times all the hard trainings and all the struggles and everything we’ve been through to get to that moment when I won the world title I have a Target on my back and everybody wants my belt John debella he’s born into martial arts he’s born into geick boxing I see him it’s very technically Savage very very dangerous very smart very patient but I wouldn’t be right here if I wasn’t confident that I’m going to give John de his first loss for my first title defense I look at it the same way the first fight fighting for the belt I’m still the underdog in my head I just keep the same mentality because I feel like every time I fight the belt is up for grabs he’s competing against a different animal in this fight I’m going to hit harder I’m going to be more aggressive and I’m going to have a stronger mentality coming into this fight it’s going to come for a war and that’s what I want Daniel Williams style he’s a very tricky very powerful very unorthodox he comes to brw he’s a warrior he throws shot from everywhere and he has good timing got to be prayed for that I would like to finish the fight with a stoppage if I can get it done as quick as possible that’s what I want to do I want to show that I’m really a true champion to defend the title this win will change my life it will will set me up to continue to do great things and Inspire the Next Generation and show what a true martial artist is I want to give it a very exciting fight and chop the world again I’m here to stay Champion for a long time the defending world champion set the tone early there’s a head kick that wble Williams adjust to the speed advantage that is showing here he’s usually the faster fighter in there but Della is touching him up in the first Della’s hands were on display in the second round as Williams tried to reply with punishing Kicks N likes that front kick up the middle both men continue trading in the third round but Williams leg kicks were not slowing down to Bella throwing a lot of leg kicks still touching Della but Della doesn’t really seem to be HED by it debella continued to dominate with his Lightning Fast boxing in round four yeah I’d like to see him throw maybe that one two just to get the bell of cover up so that when he throws that leg kick he’s not eating punches by doing it now he’s starting to put something in front of it but he’s eating a few shots on the aftermath yeah he’s walking into range here you know you can’t be in range without throwing something you’re entering a a conversation without speaking basically do you think Daniel Williams is feeling like a sense of urgency here as we start the fourth he should feel a sense of urgency this is more than likely at a point where he’s going to have to put Jonathan Della away in order to win this match that that depends on you know I’m not keeping count on how many kicks he’s actually landed but when I watch these combinations from Della even angling off and and uh taking the stance out of Min t or making mini T move the way that he is I can’t see spinning a back fist for to Bella and a right hook to this is mini T right here getting emotional he needs to back out of that he talked about that this week in the fight interview Daniel Williams trying to get active but he is getting [Music] hammered he ate a right hook from the champion beautiful counter shot by [Applause] [Music] Della yeah Della took a good right hand on the chin from Min T but Min T had to pay for it to sit down on his shots Ray Williams has gone to Southpaw St trying to use another tactic to attack the champion yeah he’s done this several times in this match that’s how the Bella’s lead leg has movement and just get him pinned up against one spot against the wall he’s really good at clinch work too we’ve seen him Excel inside that clinch a lot nice right hand two right hands to open up for alari the first for the big man and crunching Ki underneath both of them I think uh I think air now has a 100% Landing rate and you can tell that Kong is visibly hurting from those two right hands Landing he’s beding he’s caught see the eyes also swelling up he’s cut and the eye is swelling from two right hands from Al there’s a third one al bar not blowing himself out oh gets dropped he gets the eye here’s the second one touched him but then again khong got on his bike slipped out of the way boom caught him with the left hand one punch knock out to the jawer of Eliot Bari sent him down knockout artist Kil grenko at one fight night 23 on the 6th of July on the same night number five ranked Contender Luke Lei goes toe-to-toe against French national champion bmara Cate in a featherweight Muay High Showdown known as the chef Luke Lei is a karate black belt who dominated the US amateur circuit before he turned Pro in 2021 his opportunity to prove his claim is the top type fighter in the US came when he faced compatriot Eddie silky smooth abas Solo in February 2024 capitalizing on his reach Advantage the chef served up long strikes to limit abas Solo’s aggression in the second round Ley found his boxing Rhythm and caught silky smooth to score a knockdown five my goodness down go a solo a technical pressure fighter lcy began to pull away on the score cards in the final round and and behold we have been treated to a scintilating match up here between L Lei and Eddie AAS solo away I need more than one I need more than one right hand foro a just touch touch touch boom does a beautiful job of setting up his power shots play patty cake until he hits you with a hammer but when you illustrate that Mitch what that means for L that he has a lot to be aware of yeah you don’t know when that power shot’s going to come he reaches out he’s touching you P at your hands throwing shots to your legs and then all of a sudden you get hit with a hay maker least the anent forward guard nice and high shelling up well least he has confidence in his power strikes as well he has that one punch knock off power but right now he’s dealing with the very cra and Elusive Edie Alo there’s a stick jab but back comes Alo yeah both these guys are really entering this fight with something to prove trying to become that next name in American boy thae that put to the body by oh a couple right hands for the ship as he goes forward oh those are some good slips big right hand there by solo a cut underneath the left eye of Ley both better cut there’s an elbow by El for cut byi so good going backwards and [Applause] forwards the nose is blooded of an ala solo as he goes a South ball and unloads a straight left the pet armband of Luke Lees torn a thread like he’s trying to tear a hole into Edie Al solo just can’t quite find that big knockout shot both these guys are eating some serious shots lead right hand followed by an elbow compliment to Luke Lei as he’s flooding up the nose of Eddie a solo both men are showing the wear and tear in their faces but they are not backing up one bit I do like that adjustment for Eddie AB solo to start working to the legs you know least is doing a great job of leaning back and as he does Al Solo’s coming in with those legate kicks very busy from the outside as wellig right from another right hand by right UT 30 seconds to go in this third and final round both guys trying to leave it all out there a deap kick by AAS solo final moments on what has been a riveting match up between two top Americans competing here lini Stadium a red
