These are the top 5 running backs in the NFL for the 2024 season, and before you leave a comment just know these are 100% accurate. Check out part 1 yesterday

At number 5 is Jonathan Taylor. He missed almost half of last season, but when he played he was elite. He is locked in as the Colts workhorse this season, he should bounce back to 2021 form.

Number 4 is Jahmyr Gibbs. He would have been even higher last season if he didn’t share touches with David Montgomery. Gibbs should win a lot of those touches back this season, but Montgomery is still very good so Gibbs won’t be top 3

Number 3 is Bijan Robinson. He was top 12 last season with awful conditions, he is poised for a monster season with Kirk Cousins and a new head coach. He will get way more prime opportunities now.

Number 2 is Breece Hall. He was RB4 last season with only one rushing attempt inside the 5 yard line. With Rodgers back, he will continue to get a heavy workload with more valuable chances.

Number 1 is no surprise, it’s Christian McCaffrey. He is in a class of his own, the only thing that could stop him from being RB1 is injuries.
