have you ever worked so hard just for it to end up like this I traveled to Northern Michigan to compete in a pro golf tournament at 16 years old and I filmed everything everything started out great registration practice did some bash fishing and I was super excited first round was solid 13 out of at greed one bad hole but I learned a lot from day one and then on the second day the rain started started off solid play was suspended and I was drenched we waited 6 hours to go back out actually worse raining than it was before as we were going back out they called off play for the day and everyone was exhausted then on the third day I woke up at 2:00 a.m. with a horrible bacterial infection I was up all morning miserable that I wasn’t going to be able to play I don’t know how but I dragged myself out to the course 2 minutes before my start time it was so bad and I had to withdraw after the first completed hole but I saw 10-year-old girl who traveled 2 hours to come and watch me play and I told my dad I was going to continue at some point my family and I decided I could not continue anymore a lot of great takeaways from this experience stay tuned for the full video

  1. They’ll be other larger dreams to follow, your health comes first….All the building blocks for success are in place, can’t wait for all of us to follow your career..

  2. I’ll need medical documentation for your absence – is about how much compassion you would get if this happened to you at a normal job.

  3. Keeping your immune system in check is the last piece of the puzzle. You’ll learn from this experience and become ustoppable.

  4. You will get through this. Keep at it and you got this with the next event. I know it’s disappointing to say the least, but you made more of a difference than you could realize by trying and signing for that girl. Just think of the lives you touch, those you motivate everyday by being you, your work ethic, your perseverance and passion for something bigger than yourself. Keep at it and give yourself grace in recovering. You got this.

  5. Unfortunately, health always affects athletic performance and sometimes health issues win. I trained 5 years for a cycling event, qualified and 5 days before my flight to France to compete, was hit by a car. That caused two surgical interventions and a loss of 3 years of riding. These things happen and they are very disappointing. Better luck for the next event, Gabby.

  6. Oh no sorry to hear that – the enthusiasm is so infectious – bad luck on that one – just remember there will be many, many more. Keep swinging.

  7. Hope you’re feeling better or how you say up to par?😂😂😂⛳️🏌🏻‍♀️👩🏽🫶🏻❣️❤️👍🦦

  8. Sorry to hear this Gabby. At least your foot is in the door. Keep moving forward. Even Tiger had to quit mid round in many tournaments due to injuries. Of course, some of those injuries might have due to Elin, either directly or indirectly. LOL!!

  9. Your Awesome Gabby!! Do not feel horrible Gabby you are an inspiration to Golf!! Your ENERGY is an inspiration to all golfers. The future number one golfer in the world… I wish you perfect health, love and peace!!!🤍🙏🏻

  10. I am sorry that happened! Your first day sounded good, so you can build on that. Illnesses happen; can’t be foreseen. Get yourself well and forge onward.
