happy Saturday nhr is at Virginia Motorsports Park it is a hot one I am actually glad I’m not there uh it’s going to be a two-day race which they done at the proar shootout at the beginning of the year which was cool so they get three runs on Saturday and race on Sunday so I’m going to do a little different this time I’m going to add Pro mods to my recap if you don’t like that you can always just hit the fast forward it won’t take long what they did is they got to run one run on Friday I kicked it off with Scott wildgust which is Sienna wildgust is Daddy um she was the youngest female Pro Stock driver to debut this year she’s 17 she she’s turning 18 this year her daddy first pair out this is how it went come in like a bunch of sledgehammers in there a little bit more management available on some of the other power combination here we go whoa boy Scott G across the racetrack he knowses the car into the wall on the right hand side Ricky Smith is able to drive by Smith Goes 635 7 at 186 milph wild gust car began shaking the tires hard off the starting line made a move to the outside of the groove and did what that always you hate to see happen as the car rotates to the right and noses in Ricky Smith seemed like he might have rattled the tires a little bit and maybe even looked over and realized what was happening cuz he got back in the throttle and that got him out of the way of Scott Wild G car as he came across oh that was a wild ride glad he was okay um it was just hot and greasy couple more pair after him this is how they looked sto said that thing on two wheels just by the 330 foot Mark gets the shoots out and they’re going to run well as Justin Bond’s car broke the tires loose 5766 251 mph I’m filming as I go so we’ll just check in on Pro mods as they run throughout the day Pros are going to run Mission Food too fast too tasty challenge if you don’t know what that is that is where the semis from the previous race run each other in a race for extra bonus cash and points during qualifying so they get three runs today second round of qualifying will be in Pro Stock Motorcycle it’s going to be Gage versus Matt Smith Gian everist versus Richard Gat into his vson Hines ride he got a whole year worth of experience and it’s a red light start for Gian she dropped the hammer Too Soon by 2,000 of a second and Richard Gadson goes 684 had unscored upon Matt Smith Not only would he like to you know win the race win the cash win the points all of that kind of stuff he’d like to send Gage Herrera a message that maybe just maybe that reain of yours is closer to the end than the beginning Gage however in the first session had the best bike on on the property the RevZilla old tool Kai bike out of Von Hinds an 07 light for Matt Smith and guess what it’s enough 679 beats a 679 gauge goes 6.79 five at 199 miles an hour Matt 17 on the tree to Gage is 54 Gage had made that up by 60 feet stride for stride down to the stripe and in essence the difference at the start was the difference at the finish and Matt Smith keeps Gage Herrera out of a final round proot car will be Jed Coughlin versus Erica Enders and Greg Anderson versus Dallas Glenn so that’s two Elites and two kbm Kim Black Motorsports against each other Racing for real and you know qualifying if it matters Greg left Dallas right winner goes to the final Dallas may have smoked the motor down there and Greg Anderson goes 6.62 7 208 mph Dallas Glenn a little puff of smoke out there about the eth mile Mark and he slowed from that point on cin right Enders left Anderson awaits both drivers off the starting line clean couple of thou between them at the Finish Line 6614 209 and Erica gets revenge from last week Jag puts up quad 6666 funny car will be Austin proc versus The Champ Matt Hagen and Jr Todd versus John Force Hagen left proc right winner goes to the final the two fast two tasty chenge oh yeah it counts for qualifying too but who cares we’re racing we’re [Music] racing it’s going to be proc 412 to a 414 oh come on man really really they’re one thou apart in Reaction Time advantage rock down the racetrack Hagen is out in front at 60 Hagen is out in off the starting Mark Tony was first by smidge when they got to 330 ft Kay mikin was out in front shortly after that both of them pull the tire Loose as we’re going to take another look on our us Nationals inspired instant replay both of them Puff the tires and coasting down there the Leatherwood machine going to make it happen any win is a good win and a too fast too tasty win no Doug Keta smashed the gas too soon and then bang the blower off of it down at the other end red light for Doug I’m not sure what distracted him or what got his attention but that that’s not Doug Keta to be that far red his 395 is certainly going to help in qualifying watching again from the far end of the racetrack Doug’s foot just took off before the tree flashed Britney goes 398 at 308 which will a help her in qualifying B get her Lane choice in the too fast too tasty final round Doug ktic goes 395 288 promod after the first session on Saturday uh Jason Scruggs took it to the top the Mississippi Missile who I’m a big fan of and this is how it looked wow Nick janick big move out there at about 300 feet had to take his foot off it at 573 250 mph in the Mississippi Missile shows everybody why that team has the nickname Jason Scruggs goes to number one by 2 hunds of a second with a 250 mph blast the challenge Race Pro Stock Motorcycle Nay terrera it’s going to be like you saw Richard Gaston versus Matt Smith Matt Smith in the left side Richard Gadson in the right both drivers away on a green coin flip on the reaction timer Finish Line Matt 6.76 7 to a 688 Matt goes 2.86 milph and 6767 for the elapse time congrats the mat me second chance challenge win backto back uh Gage rare keeps number one qualifier he ran that in the very first session this morning he ran 670 at 200 mph and this is how they’re going to line up tomorrow Pro Stock car Greg Anderson versus The Champ Eric Anderson Erica left Greg right one time4 light for Greg Anderson is it going to be enough it is 6. 626 206 Erica goes 6627 at 208 Greg had a double4 light and outran her by a thoul to take home the too fast too tasty win Greg Anderson first uh challenge win which is kind of odd to even say that but it is his first challenge win Erica keeps the number one spot she ran 658 at 209 mph this morning in that first session and this is how they’re going to line up tomorrow funny car Austin proc versus his boss John force force left proc right it counts for qualifying but it also counts for those countdown points for the title mission two pass to Tasty which Chevrolet going home with the [Music] chips what a great drag race 403 beats 404 off Austin proc for the win 4037 315 John goes 4048 congrats to Austin Pro that was a great race that’s his third challenge win he did not get number one qualifier Chad green carried number one qualifier uh he ran 402 at 32013 that’s important all the way from the first session till this last session and then Bob tasa comes in runs 402 ties to the th um but he got it on speed Bob went 32074 so the high speed goes in a tiebreaker Bob taskan number one qualifier this is how they’re going to line up tomorrow and unfortunately cuz you know I wasn’t pulling for Tony shoe marker no offense to him but Tony schacher versus Britney [Music] Force Tony driving around a little bit Britney’s going to go 396 316 milph and she will win the two fast two tasty Tony’s going to go 426 at 206 miles hour as his car had some weird looking pipes out there well before it got to the finish line and at 4261 second all right so congrats to Britney Forest that’s her first challenge win also the number one qualifier goes to Shawn langon 387 Anon Brown was carrying the number one all the way from the first session with a 390 so they just went into the 380s on this very last session that just tells you how hot it was the first two sessions obviously as it got later on in the day in the evening it kind of cooled off and they did dip down into the 80s but not very far as you can see a 387 brother report clay milin theyve been on The Struggle Bus today all three sessions they’ve had issues the first session they put a couple cylinders out shredded the belt throw the belt off second session smoke the tires third session cylinders out again he ends up number 14 and he will have Tony Stewart in the morning that’ll be the NASCAR versus the NASCAR owner this is how
