uh muggy wow I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around here before muggy wow uh why would ESPN want to keep paying for all the ACC when they only want a few could get better TV ratings having these few about the bottom half of the league taking significantly less to pay the top half of the league significantly more well and I would say also that um we’ve been talking about this for months yeah we talked about private Equity last year so if you’re just late to the party here and you’ve never been here before we’ve been talking about this stuff for a very long time uh friends call me Sean is in and I’m going to go ahead and add this to the stage here uh and I’m going to read this if I can I know it’s kind of you know what let me can we make it a little bigger yeah that’s me there we go uh this is what Josh Pate said on Tuesday show his show Tuesday about that gif of the shaking water from the Jurassic Park uh scene yeah I think the ACC is kind of sort of screwed I think the future of the conference will look radically different than it does now there are powerful entities that are well motivated and well financially backed that want out in other words Florida State and they’re not alone I think they’re going to get out I put that gif out earlier this week because I have not talked about this publicly by the way I have acquaintances shall we say I have contacts in the legal Community these are not contacts I would normally have I came about these contacts in a very interesting way but I have them and they’re on the legal side of this and they’re not necessarily on the football side they’re just on the legal side I don’t even know if they’re aware of what Florida State’s mascot is but they’re on the legal side and I’ve gotten as much Intel as they can give me throughout this whole thing and they’ve always been very very guarded they talk like classic legal types would talk I can’t say this I can’t tell you this I can’t tell you that I can’t respond to that well earlier this week when they said hey get ready it’s coming I put the gift out I don’t know what the timeline is I just know that this is the kind of person who is not one for hyperbole frankly I don’t even think they care about the ramifications over on the college side or the conference realignment side but they know I do and they know people like us do so they threw that at me and I asked a bunch of questions and I got some answers I can’t share but the long and short of it is I think that the Reconstruction or reconfiguration of the ACC is pretty imminent and I don’t certainly don’t know action is going to happen before this season don’t certainly don’t know action is going to happen before this season but it wouldn’t stun me at all if we heard news on this front before this season start and that’s what nine Saturdays away so yeah if that gives giv you any idea of what kind of timetable we’re working on it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we had some breaking news stories or several breaking news stories and name and knowing some of the folks that work on those stories I can wholeheartedly tell you those stories are in the oven as we speak so that’s what the water gift was about we’ll pull that off the screen there so I was thinking about this I was thinking about this I was pondering this today sort of throwing the super bow against the wall and seeing what came back um and I have a theory and it’s speculation it’s a theory uh you know don’t I don’t have any inside information on this this is just my crazy conspiracy theory here connecting the tax with the red threads on the board here but I stepped back and I took a look at the big picture here and I noticed something you know the Pack 2 has not really you know they’ve started to talk about reforming the pack not necessarily waiting for the ACC going out and getting six good teams to make an eight team conference that’s Nimble as they put it and then I also started thinking that you know for being the Attorney General Florida he really hasn’t been able to get that contract away from ESPN you think if she would really want it she’d be easily easily fairly easily able to get that contract away from ESPN so it had me thinking that’s trouble by the way that is usually trouble yes it is sorry wrong way go ahead but uh I got me to thinking we know the date that ESPN must renew is by February of 2025 must renew the ACC media deal well something has to be done they must renew it by yes something they could renegotiate there’s other options has to be done yeah according to the Florida State and Clemson lawsuits they believe this is an extension in 2025 that’s how they’re interpreting it that’s how they are interpreting it yep the ACC likewise is interpreting it as a look in yeah if ESPN tomorrow a week from now two weeks from now they can tell the ACC that they’re not going to extend they don’t have to wait until February guys and if they tell ACC that they’re not going to extend that means the grant of rights ends in 2027 not 2036 yeah that significantly reduces the payouts for every school in the ACC that significantly reduces the payouts for Florida State and Clemson uh who have already discussed priv private equity and getting in and getting out so it leaves this if ESN were to realize that look Florida State and Clemson are gone either they’re gone today they’re going tomorrow they’re going down the road instead of having our contract revealed by the Florida state people let’s go ahead and do them a solid let’s tell the ACC we’re not going to renew and then maybe Florida State’s Attorney General backs off maybe the contract never gets revealed maybe Florida State and Clemson come up with their Arrangement the same way uh Oklahoma and Texas did with the big 12 because you know your grant of rights is only into 2027 at that point so you can say let’s leave in 2026 let’s negotiate the final year here’s an exit fee here’s one year of grant of rights we’re gone and other schools could do the same Miami could do the same North Carolina could do the same UVA could do the same um all these schools that have potential Landing spots could do the same now will some stick around your WG Forest probably your Boston colleges probably your Syracuse’s probably you’re going to have some schools that have to stick around that don’t have Landing spots you’ve got some memberships out there Moen oh I’m sorry I wasn’t running that part of the show well I’m I’m your sidekick I’m trying to help uh so we gifted five memberships to the college football Mafia family the ESPN definitely does not want that contract in the hands of the AG of Florida I don’t think the Big 10 wants that I don’t think the Big 12 wants that I don’t think anybody wants that to happen I think ESPN might be able to to work something he mentions Josh Pate mentions in his quote that several peoples have this story um I’m sure some of those people work at ESPN and I’m sure they have the tip off and they’ve been told not to say anything so um I’m putting it out there that’s my theory let us know in the chat what you think tell me I’m crazy I already know that I take prescriptions for it um I’m doing better every week so uh but let us know what you think let me know if you’ve got a theory that’s my theory I don’t know um but I’d imagine once that happens uh a lot of these schools that are getting the payoff to your Lou of those your bits your um North Carolina States if they don’t go to the SEC uh they might use some of that payout money to pay their themselves out and find is the true question what is Philip’s true objective Survival by any means that’s his true objective by any means necessary Justin in the house look at this all right Theory the pieces are already in extension all ESPN has to do is say we’re not renewing and that grant of rights then expires 2027 and paying out for just one year of grant of rights and your exit fee is substantially less expensive Notre D Dame right now is driving the bus if they want to leave the whole thing’s over but right now if just one of those dominoes Falls there’s just natural momentum that will bring others with it and by the way they they might reup that media deal in February but if Florida State and Clemson are gone it’s going to be at 15 to20 million or they might not reup it or they could drop it but in my opinion you can get them basically for half price that number of schools I think they would do that uh movie time blue says I would not be surprised by such a dirty play they don’t want real competition well competition doesn’t make you money that’s that’s a fact so um Fox quindaro I’m here here because of fugar the great wow Greg you got the great added to your name just like Alexander will they pay the SEC to bring them in at full shares rather than lose them to the big um I think that’s going to be entirely up to the SEC and the big well and and you also have to you have to watch there’s a process attached to that right if they can’t just go one for the other they can’t go from one conference to the other they have to leave the ACC and then they would join the SEC there’s no legal way that they can just go from one to the other separate deals and that would obviously if they leave does that open up the gore does that even blow away any legal requirement for anything else once the gore open up then everybody could leave yeah it’s essentially it would be what we would refer to as free agency these teams would become free agents and then it would be up to the big or the SEC to woo them uh or even want them you know there might be a situation where the big says we don’t want Clemson so they don’t offer Clemson so um we’ll have to see we got a $10 Super Chat here thank sends an invite win the ACC inlo I think that’s that’s probably the easiest odds to set that’s probably a favorite uh in conference realignment right now uh D5 tur between Florida State Clemson leave would Notre Dame be willing to add more ACC games on top of the four M mandated Notre Dame has hand um Notre Dame might have stroke but adding four ACC games to teams with teams like Wake Forest and tomorrow you might be right I don’t know about that because I think as this these legal briefs continue to go court cases especially the one in Florida are looking very good at least trending toward the Florida state side I I actually don’t believe that’s true I know we’ve talked about it I think I think Moen has said for a while that yeah he thinks you know whatever the number is it could be big and they would want out I don’t know that I actually think they might string the whole thing out and just bleed ESPN dry because they know they’re going to be going to Fox in the Big 10 now they they would be they would there’s no guarantees you know they have they don’t have anything in writing that they’re going to the big 10 and maybe the Big 10 has soured on them a little bit but you get a Florida State at a half rate I find it hard to believe that the Big 10 wouldn’t bite on that we shall see again I’m not going to make predictions tonight uh I will save that for tomorrow of who goes where you can catch me tomorrow at 8:00 pm on another or 9900 p.m we’re doing 900 P P.M tomorrow excuse me oh yeah you’re doing an hour L we’re doing at 900 p.m. tomorrow as well and I’ll give you my thoughts on that uh does your the theory really tiing to something a lawyer would tell Josh PA especially if he really doesn’t know Sports um if that lawyer works for a sporting Network he might or did um there’s precedent for that to be to happen so you know there’s no fox in that scenario that needs to be made whole the ACC and SEC are both owned by ESP or both Media Partners ESPN you might have to do a little something with uh the CW Raycom that situation but uh Chris e Big 10 is about academic and research they want universities with research hospital that brings in research money to the conference Louisville ain’t it um Louisville’s a fine school it’s just you’re right I don’t think they culturally fit into the Big T Justin R says if teams leave the AC C I can see it surviving maybe with some G5 backfills maybe TV money around 20 to 25 million per team which would be a low tier power Five payout but higher than everyone in the G5 yeah I don’t think the ACC is going to be killed I think Josh P said that very very succinctly that they’re going to reorganize and reconfigure so we shall see we’ve got nobody in particular says I just found another phone and subscribed need to know ESPN owns and drives the bus for all this they do um and if they say we’re done the ACC is going to have a mighty difficult situation on their hands and it could happen very very quick quickly because a lot of teams are going to be available like Miami North Carolina Virginia that can afford that kind of money to to buy out and get into a new conference so um maybe the SEC sweeps all forward maybe they get North Carolina Virginia Clemson and Florida State maybe something happens where the Big 10 ends up swooping in and getting North Carolina and Virginia uh because the SEC has to defend with Florida State Fon who knows I mean it’s let’s see should be a wild ride so let’s say ESPN announces from Chad bracie they announced they’re dropping the content for ACC when do they announce and why wait until February or do it soon that’s one thing they have until February they don’t have to they don’t have to wait they can go right now they could go out tomorrow and say we are not renewing if this is a true extension they could come out and say we’re not going to renew that extension stop full stop uh Hood did Ninja good name ESPN’s best interest is keeping the ACC alive at a slight discount ESPN can continue to use the ACC and Big 12 against each other in media rights negotiations you might be right but but what’s an ACC without a Florida State in a Clemson what’s an ACC without a North Carolina in Virginia what’s an ACC without Miami uh you know if Florida State and Clemson get out guys other people are going to get out too and you know I nothing against Tain nothing against rice nothing against Memphis but those three schools combined don’t add up to the value of one of the schools I just named uh CFB playoff Ed it’s just my opinion Florida State Miami to the big and Clemson UNC to the SEC by 2026 or 2027 uh Nathan Campbell’s in the house hi to the hi Greg in the little general good to see you Nathan uh Al night Ted does the fear of Super League slow expansion teams like my Ali may want to stop giving teams just better or equal to them the resources of the big I don’t believe in Super League I know it was said I read the article um I think you know the fact that he’s making that very public is he is talking to his boosters so just my opinion I don’t believe in Super League I believe we’re going to have three big conferences by the end of the decade yes but but I I think you could say those three conferences uh the big what what the big big 12 becomes the Big 10 and the SEC you could say that’s a Super League it’s all it’s all verbiage right I mean right who cares what it’s called yeah uh Mary Crocker ACC can give ESPN another extension they can choose to extend that date Beyond February 2025 but at this point ESPN can go in there change that whenever they want to so all right let me get a couple more of these things and I’ll let you do that Nate okay Florida State not desperate to get out but the truth is the contracts are not in the University’s best interest time to fight uh if a AC is Mr Ed wayer of eight ACC schools leave and ESPN doesn’t renew media deal with the exit fees paid by the eight need to Total the revenue loss for the six teams through 2036 or will be a pack two situation what’s left over be a pack two situation um because they would probably divide that money up and that’s great you can have those six teams that could be billionaires most of those teams already have billion dollar universities um they would become Irrelevant in athletics they you know they would probably have to get rid of football programs um maybe just focus on Olympic sports so friends call me Sean three conferences in a super division yes possibly sort of oops all right Nate you wanted to uh yeah go ahead and bump something disagree it is a very tight wellth thought out Theory however I think we might I believe there’s something else going on if Josh pate’s information is valid and true I’m going to take you uh I’m gonna Josh Pate say this if the the if Moen theories was was what was going on um or if a different theory was going on and I think when Josh pton me mentions that no where where is it um you need me to scroll down no you know you’re good you’re good I have not I have not talked about this publicly by the way I have acquaintances shall we say I have contacts in the legal Community these are not contacts I would normally have I came about these contacts in a very interesting way but I have them and they’re on the legal side of this and they’re not necessarily on the football site so some information came from the legal side of this side of this that jolted Josh Pate into putting that gift of the trembling water in the glass if it was if it was if what this event is all about is driven by ESPN to decline acc’s content 2027 Beyond I think it would be somebody in the media media field the media industry somebody that would know football I don’t know if this legal guy who may not know nothing about football and the way Josh pate’s describing him I don’t think Josh Pate would have gotten this ESPN information from a legal guy okay I could be wrong I could be completely wrong maybe it’s a legal guy in the ESPN office right I um I am and I said this on my show and we’ve got we got great calls on our show today as people were letting this marinate your show was awesome thank you so much for doing that Greg you were right on top of that and I’m wondering and I’ve got my my own Theory which has holes in it but in the backdrop in the backdrop of what we have Peak around the corner think we know and we definitely been told I’m just wondering and and there’s holes in it and this Moen menen is already punctured holes in this and I’m sure he’ll do it about do it again in a minute but I’m wondering if we’re not setting up for the sake of at least discussion we’re not setting up a scenario where the SEC is about to eat first second third and fourth and I would like to hear from the uh college football Mafia Community about that if we’re not setting up a situation in which Josh Pate got some information in which um we we’re doing a big 12 situation here where the big 12 where where Oklahoma and Texas dealt with ESPN dealt with the SEC and dealt with the big 12 and dealt with fox in which Fox had to be made whole it was um but that was easier situation because Oklahoma it was a much shorter time that the gore was going to run off of the Big 12 this is lot longer Runway yes but on the other hand we don’t have Fox to deal with in this situation this is a tighter Circle and I know Florida State fans once again are mad at me because I’m thinking maybe there’s this possibility that Florida state is going to go to the SEC I said in May 23rd May 28th and I keep saying it I was told to tear down our our our chalk our odds of Florida State going to the big 10 to back away from that and I’m wondering if this is another uh dot to connect and I’m just wondering is there a coordinated effort here to appease and this is where the whole this is where my theory goes down the tubes but I’m just going to say it anyways this is where somehow the ACC schools that would not have a place in the in in the SEC the Big 10 they sort of get more security and Assurance somehow some way Florida State Clemson North Carolina and Virginia get what they need to leave the conference they’re goingon to have to pay out some money but they’re going to the SEC and and the secc is the invisible velvet hand that is moving the pieces around the chessboard and then whatever happens after that fox may be able to I mean Big 10 and fox may be able to do something maybe with uh noted Dame maybe with a couple other ACC schools just wondering what the big 12 Mafia Community thinks and Nathan and menen what do you think well Greg I I disagree with you based off of the line this could happen before the season starts Florida State and Clemson leaving does not reconfigure the ACC significantly uh but Josh Pate did say action will not happen before the end of the season he said the reports of the reconfiguration Reconstruction reports coming out will happen in the next nine uh nine Saturdays but he said action won’t take place meaning a settlement like like an official like yeah like but this is what they’re look the the odds of my Theory being correct are 0.00001% but um [Music] I’m again where did Josh Pate get this you got this from a legal Beal type of guy wh how why would this legal guy have some information because he’s on the he is on the ACC or one of these institution legal side of this coordination Mo uh or likewise this acquaintance could be someone who works for the Florida State Attorney General’s office who knows why she hasn’t pushed harder to get that contract if you’re the FL if you’re the state state of Florida’s attorney general you should have no issue getting that contract in a timely manner well what do we find out this week the judge ruled against the ACC he’s not going to wave that requirement that that’s going to continue they I I do believe they appealed that again but even if they didn’t ESPN is going to totally stall the chances that we actually see what that agreement has in it maybe less than 1% but there is a chance but at the end of the day ESPN here to make make money they have the college football playoff they have the SEC and I think they do have a property in the ACC they would like to keep VI viable in my opinion the way I look at this is that the ACC is GNA still be a conference but there’s going to be some major pieces moving and it might be let’s all get let’s get three conferences to 20 right right there’s eight schools could that could move and that would be fine that would still let leave an ACC to backfield though with a ton of money in private equity and other things payouts from these schools they go and start their own new like the the highly educational one that immaculate’s talked about before or a basketball conference or who knows what it could be but the ACC would still be a power conference because they’re in the college football playoff contract and as long as they’re a conference I believe that’s still active so they would be an autonomous conference but you’re missing six to eight well it best is is relative 68 of the most of the most high highly sought after schools um to go to other conferences plus Notre Dame and Notre I’m not going to predict where the schools go I I I still think Florida State to the big is the more logical but SEC is fine Miami to the big is a natural Georgia Tech that could be number eight and Notre Dame wants UNC we know that so okay one one of the one of the um one of the strengths of mowen’s theory in my my theory is um whoever this person was that that gave Josh P this information he said this is coming it is is finally here it’s coming it’s happening it’s coming um and and and the other times according to Josh Pate this person said he was guarded you know he wasn’t giving out information but now he suddenly says it’s coming it’s happening well for that to happen the court the courts have to be cut out of this situation because they’re all just they’re goingon to appeal this is going to take forever so moen’s moen’s theory is ESPN comes out and says we’re not you know we’re dropping acc’s content for 2027 Beyond and that’s a nuclear bomb that just dropped right and suddenly yeah it’s a coming so that’s how mullen’s Theory uh you know works because it’s you know it assures that yeah things are things are happening um my theory on what about this Greg let me inter let me interrupt you here friends call me Sean says Clemson lawyers have now seen the ESPN contract and know they are not going to be held by the gore well that’s their that’s that’s their Theory right that’s what their that’s what their argument is yeah but but but but even but even if Clemson is 100% like correct and judge graly and pickings County rules now there is there’s not going to be a summary motion there’s not going to be a hearing on the summary motion on July 12th that has been put off so again we don’t even know when the summary motion is going to happen on that part on the first Clause of of uh first cause of of Clemson’s complaint so again that we don’t know so Josh P the person’s telling Josh P is saying this is this is happening now and we’re going to get breaking news in the next nine Saturdays within the next nine Saturdays so it really can’t be Court driven that’s what I’m saying it’s got to be a nuclear bomb a settlement of some sort a settlement with court yeah a settlement that’s that’s coordinated and I happen to believe that there’s a settlement I don’t know I’m getting very tingling feelings about the SEC eating a bunch of times real quick here but a selement or mowen um you know we’re not there yet but man it’s going to happen because the gore is received on May 23rd May 28th um the Florida state the Big 10 is not the chalk so again I’m starting to get this I’m starting to get this big 12 I’m sorry this Oklahoma Texas SCC everybody kind of Court everybody gets made whole you know I’m uh the biggest win Moen correct me if I’m wrong isn’t the biggest win SEC takes Florida State Clemson UNC and whoever the fourth might Virginia Virginia somebody else but that’s like isn’t that a home run Greg for the SEC if they can get all four yeah yeah and and remember swim swam or swam swim or whatever that account was a couple years ago they said they said Florida State Clemson Virginia North Carolina SEC they heard it at a swim meet or whatever I don’t know what that story right um yeah that would be a home run um you know again I’m probably wrong um I haven’t heard that this is speculation on my part the part of Florida State no longer being the chalk to going to the big 10 that is not just speculation we’ll see what happens there we’ll see what happens happens there so we heard a little of that with Oregon though right Oregon T Oregon had ticked some people off at the Big 10 we heard some Rumblings that Oregon wasn’t playing nice big 10 schools uh and they still got an invitation well I I I I didn’t I didn’t report that I I said Oregon’s going to go to the Big 10 because you know Fox wanted them and right but but um I I I and I’m not saying Flo State’s done anything wrong I just have heard that Florida State to the Big 10 is not the chalk and so I took down those odds and that chalk and so I’m just trying to you know this dot over here that dot over there right I’m getting highly suspicious um with Josh Pates This legal Guy saying something’s coming maybe it’s just you know is it it could it be that think another theory could it be Florida state is just going to declare that they’re leaving the conference like a lot of Florida State seminal fans think that that is the big event happening that they’re going to file notice of withdrawal does that really fit with the legal guy telling Josh Pate um but but wouldn’t that be considered action Greg yeah yeah yeah yeah yep don’t get caught up in the you guys you guys are got to analyze every word got to analyze every word Nathan got to analyze every word you’ve already hit you’ve had already hit on the three keys if the conference loses some key schools it has to be reconfigured something has to happen be because there’s no way ESPN’s paying paying $40 million for a conference that doesn’t have Florida I sorry Florida State UNCC uh Miami and Clemson there’s no way that that that deal is worth maybe $15 million a year if you back fill with G5 school so that you know at least I know that that is action right but that’s also a reconfiguration I also know that uh an arrangement a negotiation isn’t necessarily action and yet it causes a lot lot of pieces that have to move right yeah and then the third thing is the Big 10 and the SEC are going to be the richest no matter what doesn’t matter who goes where at the end of the day the only opportunity the Big 12 has is to in some way shape or form get at least four ACC schools to come over can I can I read one part of the transcript I know I’m getting in the in the I know I’m getting in I know I’m I’m starting to aggravate people but rate um okay so this is this is um Josh P uh so they threw that at me and I asked a bunch of questions and I got answers I can’t share but the long of the short it is short of it is I think that the Reconstruction or reconfiguration of the ACC is pretty imminent right and I don’t certainly don’t know I don’t know that I don’t know the action is going to happen before the season but it wouldn’t stun me if all if we’ve heard news on this front before the season starts so it’s it’s so they so they threw this at me and I asked a bunch of questions and I got some answers I can’t share I asked a bunch of questions and I got some answers I can’t share so to me that means this is sort of more complicated and intricate and in Cloak and Dagger is so I don’t think it’s just about florid State saying we’re gone because how many questions could you have I mean how many answers could you get back on something like that that’s pretty simple straightforward right right and maybe the you know ESPN saying that is a little bit more involved but back to my to my where the SEC where there’re it’s all coordinated it’s all ready to pop and the SEC is going to be doing some eating um Josh peep would have questions on that and he have would have answers he can’t divulge so I don’t think it’s something simple I think it’s something big if Josh P’s person is correct mullen’s theory is big though so emminent Greg he says imminent isn’t that what I said yeah imminent though that’s just I just want put out there imminently what is imminent in a space of time that’s within okay we’ll call two years so they threw that at me I asked a bunch of questions got some answers I can’t share but the long and the short of it is I think that the Reconstruction or reconfiguration of the ACC is pretty imminent uh yeah like I I don’t I don’t know I I um does would he be using those words if it was you know he he if it is about the if it is about the ESPN declining acc’s content from 2027 Beyond I can understand why Josh Pate would stay away from the word ESPN right stay away or or stay or and stay away from the phrase media partner Media Company you know so I don’t know pretty interesting I’m not saying I’m right Greg but I’m probably right and I’m not saying and I’m not saying I’m right either and and I’m GNA be right because I’m goingon to say it’s going to be a a little bit of both of yours he’s going to say he’s right by not being involved in it no my involvement is I think they renegotiate the ACC contract after those schools leave they reconstitute and they sign them up for 15 million a year that’s what I think is g to happen 15 to 20 but what is these stories that are going to break in the next within the next nine Saturdays that that that’s a good question that’s a good question that is what we’re that’s the theory that menen is throwing out there and that’s the theory I’m throwing out there well so Moen really quick just button hole it what what are what is the theory in your mind the theory in my mind is that espm before you know they don’t take technically action because action doesn’t actually occur until 2027 y y but they can come out and say yes we’re not renewing the media deal okay because of the instability in the conference caused by Florida State and Clemson lawsuits against CAC we are not renewing that media deal that immediately changes the grant of rights to 2027 yep that only gives you two seasons and an exit fee to pay for you can probably negotiate that down to one season and an exit which is palatable I think to Florida State and Clemson and probably North Carolina and probably Miami probably Virginia and you know some of those other schools will probably use some of those funds they collect from the ACC to eventually fund their own exits before 2020 all right and Greg button hole um that within the next nine Saturdays the theory is which has a bunch of holes in it uh that um that somehow someway everyone’s going to get made whole and the reconfiguration while it doesn’t happen right now has been plotted the reconfiguration of the ACC and Florida State’s going to get it out with others it’s going to take some money and somehow this has been getting worked on the biggest hole of my theory is is man that’s a lot of moving Parts a lot of people who’s had their lips sealed and it hasn’t leaked but then again Josh PA has said there’s reporters sitting on it the story is is in the oven there’s a story there um it’s in the oven I don’t know what do a big 12 Mafia Community think what is the story that’s gonna break in the next nine Saturdays I’ll tell you mine really quick while M’s flagging comments oh go ahead and do Jamie’s go Jamie uh that Dr Pepper goes great with an extra cheesy cheeseburger the only way Greg eats his Burgers you care to comment question now no give your state give your statement Nate my button hole is this uh Louisville gave us a tell this week one of their broadcasters went on 365 and basically said uh uh Louisville to the Big 12 could happen that followed two days sorry a week after the leak about the private equity in the Big 12 in my opinion because all these schools already know where they’re going to end up through some negotiation I.E what Josh PA is intimating uh Louisville is going to be in the Big 12 private Equity is gonna have a piece and they could have friends that’s after Florida state does something and everybody else if a settlement has been getting worked on if there’s been negotiations with the settlement then these schools are these schools would get freed up to talk with confidences oh that’s I had me thought about that yeah that’s true so I mean if there hasn’t been any negotiations then you know these legal but but if there’s if the door has swung open because the ACC is you know with Clemson and Florida State and said hey you know we’re we we looks like we’re going to do this you go ahead and see if have interest so if you can send us that $200 million whatever that number is right sure then then people are talking so again um boy it’ be it’d be a lot more intricate than what happened with the Big 12 right you know but but it’s it sort of has precedent this would be a lot more difficult but but then again you’re not dealing with Fox this this scenario W you don’t have Fox in the circle that you have to make make ho right box is out of the game right got a super chat yeah we talked about that and I’m probably the only one that believes that but you did the statistics and it turns out you know Yukon or Syracuse it was neither Yukon or Syracuse yeah if they go that many if they go that deep into the ACC what are your thoughts Greg um yeah I I would I would agree it’s probably a shot um again you know what is that number what is that settlement number or is this a controlled demolition or is it uncontrolled demolition I think Josh Pates I think Josh Pat’s uh gift and everything was about a control demolition but is it the is it the control demolition of of an ESPN saying we’re out of here in 2027 or is it or is it much more detailed than that and I don’t know well none of us know this is all speculation let’s absolutely yeah put that out there nobody has stories which is the bigger one the a the uh USC leaving to the Big 10 or the potential potential demise of the ACC uh boy I would say the demise of the ACC but um but the USC thing had its own uniqueness in the sense of nothing is is sacred anymore right because the Big 10 stabbed its sister conference in the back and it went and it went all the way to the Pacific coast it skipped a bunch of states in between it wasn’t continuous addition so it broke a lot of rules it broke the mode um this ACC was always going to be more complicated this whole thing was it was always going to be more complicated and uh politics was going to be put into it and we I I’m not even sure if we’ve really seen I think we’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the politics of this oh yeah I’m sure um and yeah this this this this is different this is different because you got that ground of rights that goes on for a lot more time Texas in Oklahoma didn’t have you know this is different and it’s and I think overall it’s bigger um so I just again I’m I’m sorry I keep going back to this but it’s all right it’s just I’ve done this you know there not my first rodeo and I’m just having tingling Sensations about this I something changed and when Josh Pate once again he he thinks there’s people sitting on the story it’s in the oven something changed and I don’t know if it happened in May um I was told told to turn around on what I was thinking and I think it’s connected but I can’t connect the dots and it’s bothering me and I’m going to keep poking and prodding but I think something changed and I’m wondering if things are more developed than we all could have imagined I don’t know well you just used a good word it’s a the iceberg is always bigger underwater so I think right now is pretty obvious that that all the no for the legal challenges Clemson you know uh uncc’s politics and all that in my mind because those that’s what’s had to focus the guys are tunneling and nobody’s seeing them and the work’s actually happening underground you know on the Big 12 pack 12 thing we knew so much Nathan right because people could legally talk with each other we knew about the meeting in Chicago with Colorado and the Big 12 right before it happened after it happened you know I had a live show on May 8th and I said the Pack 12 just got a shot to the solar plexus but I couldn’t talk about the May 7th meeting there was so much we knew and this you know we know about some 30 part third party talks we know there is a certain event that happened in O’Brien’s restaurant in Chicago we know some stuff but really it doesn’t amount to enough to know what we what’s going on um so that is frustrating um but something changed something changed something changed and I I’m I’m I’m I’m starting to really I’m wondering if something is way more developed than we could have ever imagined well if you don’t know maybe maybe ESPN got scared that the Big 10 might get into t South Carolina um man if I had to put my chips in the middle of the table that’s I would be putting my chips where Moen just said yeah something Chang something changed and I I I I know something changeed but I don’t know where it eventually leads to yeah it’s totally fair right let’s get to some comments Almighty who in the ACC has the pool to leave besides the three that are leaving who can afford it especially if the buyout is high I think he’s making the assumption that UNCC is out the door as well who in the ACC of the poll the lead besides the three of the Le who can afford especially the B out say well I know is a big 12 gonna help pay for some of that buyout yeah I would expect so so then you got that possible equation um if you if you have a spot in the Big 10 in the SEC you know if you have enough interest from one of those conferences you’re going to do whatever you need to do to pay out right so everybody can really afford it because everybody would do it you know what I’m saying um but to get to the Big 12 again as Nathan has said and oh suddenly we get the stories with Big 12 Equity private Equity $1 billion doll in Louisville reported Tim Sullivan and I don’t know man there’s a bunch of dots floating around here let me ask you a question Greg real quick um what do you think about the pack came out this week the pack two it was mentioned about them looking for six schools um it looks like Oregon State and Washington State have almost accepted their fate that they’re not going to get into a backfield ACC yeah and that’s unfortunate um yeah um you know we’ve been reporting for months that PE around the corner that’s why we open up the Holy Smokes theater mat a show pack to and friends at six schools are on the stage um because right away it was told to us that th that Washington State and Oregon State we’re going to go try you know we’re weren’t going to bring on all the mountain West schools now that’s probably a fallback option but they’re not going to do that they’re going to get Le they’re going to be lean in Nimbo like the Oregon State athletic director said um and the six schools we have up there are Fresno State Boise State Colorado State San Diego State unov and Air Force but Fresno State is the Oddball and John kazano I got to give him credit uh he put it out there in an article so I felt like I could talk about it Fresno state is the definite Oddball of those six schools uh because they’ve got issues they got bigger issues than the other five when it comes to the stadium when it and they’re not able to they can’t get it P locally for the taxes to repair the stadium it’s crumbling their value is dropping there’s a bigger story with all that as well so there might be an opportunity for you know they might look at uh you know Memphis you know it all depends on what their media money’s going to look like for with Fox but that’s their main partner I uh yeah I think I I think Washington State and Oregon State are probably going to be members of the most valued are going to try to have the most valued G5 conference in the country probably with some sort of exit hatch just in case yeah about the a ACC but probably their future is with this pack eight that probably will get the pack 10 pack 12 eventually all right uh Stephen Vite mainstream media reports like reporters like pay often speaking code some of it can TR be true other parts can be misdirection that’s how I summarize it um I don’t know how to yeah I’m not sure what you can say about that yeah I gotta um I I don’t for the most part for the college football reporters that we all read and watch and listen to and I don’t they’re not playing a game of misdirection they’re not playing in a game of um conspiracy they were never in on it with the big 12 and Endeavor and all that right stupid talk that was going on um I think they’ve got a lot some of the same overlapping sources I think they’re all sitting on part of the story a lot of the information gets embargo where they can’t release it until a certain until they’re told they can then they all jump on it and they’re all ready ready with their part of the story and that’s probably I shouldn’t say probably that’s what we could be seeing within the next Saturdays at Josh P um um you know and they’re all kind of singing from the same song book right now right of course so none of them have really come out and said about a timetable though right I mean they’re they’ve they’ve they they all say that they expect Florida State North Carolina Clemson to be out of the ACC in the next three years we can agree on that yep all those reporters have said that they’re all singing from the same song book they all say that it’s going to cost them some money that it probably ain’t going to go all the way to a judgment in the courts is probably going to be a settlement they’re all saying the same thing they all question that the schools in the ACC that are going to leave to go to the SEC and the Big 10 potentially may not get a full cut right they’ve all sort of singing from the same song book what they really haven’t touched upon is a timetable I think they’ve stayed away think the academic side would prefer yeah I don’t know if I agree with that yeah I think the academic stuff when all things are equal uh they’d rather get beat up in an academic conference than get beat up in an Athletic Conference that’s what I would say there you go that’s way looking at it I’m being dead serious about that if they look they know they’re unless they start pounding money into nil and they start funding these athletes to come there to play Virginia’s always going to be behind the curve they just are they’ve been historically and I think they will continue to be that way if they can get money for just being a participant I think they’d rather go and loseing the big big 10 and be in that Academic Alliance then go to the SEC stay with your maybe your natural rivalries but you become the next Vanderbuilt I don’t think that makes any sense to me so I put a lot of thought into that but at first blush that’s what I would say about that I think Virginia’s going to go where North Carolina goes and I think North Carolina is is a definite lean to the SEC if they had a choice for all the reasons I’ve talked about um I don’t think North you know the Board of Governors they’re going to have to go through the Board of Governors at some point their own Board of Trustees has changed their president has changed Kevin gwit is no longer there um so you know I I think Notre Dame though Greg Notre Dame yeah what about Notre Dame I think they’re a lean with with UNC yeah um go and disagree with me I’m just telling you that is a question who Notre Dame decides to come when they eventually go that’s going to be the poll yeah um Notre Dame we haven’t even talked about Notre Dame have we tonight and that makes moan very happy yeah I’ve got a whole rant on Notre Dame for tomorrow gr so um well I just the lay of the land at North Carolina leans far as everything we know leans SEC um the leaders there the border of Trustees means is like the one hold over of the of the Old Guard the old guard’s been moved out and the power’s gone to the Board of Governors and the Board of Governors definitely definitely leans SEC look at the makeup of the Board of Governors um so do doesn’t that’s you know not 100% sure obviously but so again uh North Carolina and Notre aame no no offense to anybody else but they are the biggest dominal um and I don’t think the SEC believes they’re going to get Notre Dame I think the SEC the SEC I I I just start I’m I’m starting to get the tingling feelings I like the tingling the SEC if if there is this control Demolition and ESPN is is has the invisible invisible velvet hand I I think the CH I okay let me put it this way I think as we sit here Saturday June 22nd the possibilities of the SEC eating first second third and fourth with North Carolina Virginia Florida State and Clemson I think those odds have gone up but I don’t have any odds up in the sports book right I just think I think there’s a I think that is a possibility sense Greg trust me I would never ever take you out of context saying I’m starting to get the tingling feeling in my parts and put it on a soundboard and play that multiple times on a show I would never ever do that so and and let’s do a number count really quick just a refresher in Cas case you haven’t thought about it to get to 20 uh the Big 10 only needs two obviously they could go more but to get to 20 which is the number by the way that Bob Thompson he pretty much said that that was kind of a a soft hard cap um for a number of schools to manage at least right now um 20 is the number that that would mean plus Notre Dame I’d say 21 if Notre Dame wanted to go to the Big 10 and didn’t want to do it now um and the SEC only needs four to get to 20 so this idea these these conferences are going to 24 in my opinion are crazy because there’s not enough money to support it there’s not enough money out in the The Ether to support six and eight schools each conference no way allow me to retort please I think there is enough money to do it if Notre Dame joins the Big 10 okay Notre Dame can carry 350 million that’s itself plus a few teams that half share they could get Stanford at a half share which is going to be better than they’re getting paid in the ACC anyway for dollar you get Stanford for a dollar Stanford for1 pay Stanford $1 yeah um Stanford’s probably gonna backpack Cal that’s probably gonna be their backpack I agree with that we will join and join the btaa if we can bring Cal yeah that puts your six teams out on the west coast now you’ve got a 16 Western Division if you’re worried about travel that significantly redu is your travel that’s your legacy pack conference out there uh and then you can add a couple teams in the Southeast uh let’s say Georgia Tech let’s say Miami um I’m just throwing those out there what’s your timeline sorry I should have set parameters well how long because my timeline is two years I’m not I would say I would say in that range 27 28 especially if the AC gonna implode if it does go goad if it does go to 20 if it does go to 24 of course then you’re looking at uh Big 10 Thursday night games SEC Thursday night games right you’re gonna have you’re gonna have uh Warner Brothers Discovery with TNT TBS SEC you’re probably going to have Amazon Big 10 right you’re going to have to have another media partner streaming big streaming company to bring that money in to make it possible but I gotta tell you something I’m gonna say something here okay I’m GNA go on a little rant if if if that’s okay with I don’t have wait a second I don’t have a Greg fugar rant keep going I gotta build a banner okay go start go ahead let me okay let me tell you something here ladies and gentlemen we had an interview yesterday from Josh Witman Illinois athletic director being worried about the potentiality the Big 10 the top half of the Big 10 breaking off with the top half of the SEC and making a super duper super league okay and he’s been having meetings on it he’s been having discussions on it he they want to get above the redline just in case that happens so let me ask the Big 12 the uh college football Mafia Community this question what incentive is there for Illinois Indiana Purdue Minnesota ruter Maryland I’m gonna throw Nebraska in there how about that Corn Huskers what is what is the incentive for those schools to expand the conference some more in the Big 10 if they are G to get if they can’t buy if they can’t get security in the future where the teams are going to break out yeah now Nathan is saying money money money but that is the why that is the reason why Minnesota has been in favor of all these expansion ever since 1919 with Ohio State all the way through Michigan State all the way through Penn State Nebraska this is why uh Minnesota has been in favor of all these been pushing for all this expansion because the conference has gone up in value so now we’re possibly going to expand more but yet Illinois’s athletic director is afraid that the top the the there’s going to be the Super League four five six years from now happening where Illinois is going to be left behind if Josh whitmann has those worries does probably Minnesota probably Purdue probably Indiana and all the other schools that I named off so and and and again if gors don’t mean anything anymore people can just buy things off and there’s private Equity money thrown around what could what what uh security could the Big 10 offer or the SEC in fact offer you know schools like Mississippi and Vanderbilt why should we be for more expansion why should we bring on um a Florida State a Clemson and North Carolina Virginia if a Super League could be coming on five or six years from now why why give somebody an alive Branch when five six years from now we’re going to be dunked in the water left drowned right so that’s my point what you just said right there is my point why I don’t think they go to 24 right now and here’s my point what if a man has a vision and that man presents that Vision to his colleagues in the conference and says that’s we have four six team divisions we have the best academic conference in America the best Research Conference in America it’s about Unity it’s about equality uh you know Ohio State and Michigan and others have protected the smaller schools yes throughout the years that has never been an issue they they could have easily at any point high-handed and say we deserve more revenue and they have not yet done that and I don’t think they ever will do that but Illinois athletic director has come out in the open and he has fear that you will Ohio State so again if is that a hurdle for more big 10 expansion when you’ve got fear from Illinois athletic director I don’t know just putting that out there I as long as we get the ilu game back as an annual rivalry game we will that’s not gonna happen though no it’s not is no uh Stephen freedlander says Miami is not going to the big 10 maybe the Big 12 the big gains not nothing with Miami on aboard what do you think Greg um I think Fox would love to have Miami as a big 10 school um we have been we have been told that that’s sort of like they um yeah I don’t know um will Miami get to the Big 10 not going to lay odds on that tonight but uh I think F I think the ntion so big 10 fox has made a lot of money on the Big 10 big 10 schools are making a lot of money all that comes because these National advertisers love to advertise their product and services through a live sporting event the Big 10 the markets of the Big 10 the demographics of the Big 10 uh um the eyeballs but not just the eyeballs the the money that that the Big 10 viewers spend on products and services in Miami Market gives more diversity a more um opportunities for National Brands to Market in the big Market of Miami and that means more to the Big 10 than a conference like the SEC like a conference to the Big 12 so I think my Miami is looked upon favorably by Fox and I think they’re not looked unfavorably by the Big 10 presidents and I think there might be an opportunity for Miami to become a big 10 member regardless of their issues that they have right the stadium issue right you know Northwestern is building a they’re spending $800 million that’s how much Stadium wow I didn’t know that 35 35,000 seat Stadium wow it’s going to be gorgeous they their athletic football their their uh football facility indoor football facility have you seen that Northwestern on the on the on the on on the shores of Lake Michigan absolutely gorgeous and it cost a lot of money so again you know if if Miami if they can commit to building a new oncampus stadium in the next 10 years and things like that I think they can be a I I think there’s a shot of that happening what do you think menen yeah I can’t wait to pee on that new stadium Greg um we’ve talked about it they think Ohio State fans just pee everywhere so I cannot wait to pee on that new stadium the new indoor training facility I am going to tank up on water and Crown Royal before I go there that are we talking about Northwestern you never heard about the Northwestern how they said Ohio State fans just be on everything I did not hear that no oh yes that was that was a report that when you know they talked about how cordial every other fan base was except Ohio State they just peed everywhere so okay um I will have to pee there at least once but it is an amazing Stadium I don’t know that Stadium have you seen the picture of the stadum the temporary thing they’re setting up yeah my God if you thought it was windy in the old stadium that’s GNA be brutal I’m glad we don’t play there this year if I was a kicker or a punter on an opposing team I’d probably uh you know come down with the flu on game it’s it’s gonna be brutal yeah you’re gonna be a lot of squib kicks in that uh that stadium that temporary Stadium there the passing offense I’m not sure you know it’s going to be it’s going to be fun to watch Iowa can win there that’s a game that Iowa is destined to win yeah uh Jamie thoron says SEC is still after UNC more than anyone UNCC still has to free itself and they have serious issues even if they take NC State with them it’s going to take time for UNCC to leave the ACC well at least three years or till 2020 you know yeah 2027 it’s still hard and fast date uh Mara fugar smashed the like button and she’s very happy there you go thank you little general she’s she’s happy because she’s happy because I’m in the studio she’s in the bedroom right I’m sure uh Rob Ellen again says I get the SEC folks say they’re good at 16 because the conference is on top but all markets fall smart businesses for the SEC to add more assets and try and stay on top I think he’s speaking for as a Clemson fan for Clemson to the secc what do you think goad I um well I you know I think if I think if if if the if the SEC could rule the world and make all the decisions I think they’d probably have everybody stop expanding and stop moving around and stop realignment forever if the SEC could you know say that and do that um but because the SEC knows that the big 10’s going to expand again eventually the SEC wants to keep their piece of the market and of course Greg sanki has mentioned this and and uh people have explained to all of us that the the uh Greg sanki believes that the Big 10 I mean I’m sorry basketball is going to go up in value he agrees Brett ymar so you know Virginia North Carolina you know Virginia might never spend hardly any of that salary cap money to football but they probably spend in basketball and that would be an asset for the SEC and we talked about the enrollment apocalypse yep and Stu uh having Virginia North Carolina those high school students those growing those uh growing um demograph Graphics that’s going to help the SEC presidents attract more students so and then you get the uh if if this is what’s happening again I’m probably wrong okay I’m probably wrong because you know there’s only like a thousand different scenarios that could be going on right now but taking a Florida State and Clemson with the football brand and the Virginia North Carolina I think think curb Street might have been on something or on to something I think swim swam account might have been on something or on something I think SEC eating four times first I think could be could be an emerging storyline I think it’s the most likely I think Josh PA is plugged into the SEC and I do believe that at the end of the day he’s they’re going to get all four of those and then they’re going to turn around and renegotiate the remainder whoever stays back in the ACC look at that moment Nathan has come on a board no I mean it makes total sense yes it does now we just gotta get moan we just gotta not make sense to me it’s no I don’t I don’t try to I don’t try to convince him of anything great yeah he learned a long time ago that I’m too stubborn for that I think you and Virginia are clearly big 10 schools get Notre Dameon there some Miami some Georgia Tech little Stanford a little cow I think you got yourself I think you then gotas te back to 24 then you got yourself a stew going so yeah cougar track says the big and SEC don’t negotiate they dictate that’s a fact that’s a fact yeah I don’t think anybody’s going to dispute that no uh well I take that back Notre Dame seems to get away with negotiation uh Mr Ed wayer says could ESPN be thinking let’s drop the ACC let schools leave get a lower media deal with reconstituted ACC remember a ESPN is going to be paying a lot more for NBA media rights in a couple years and a lot less for a reconstituted ACC conference so with those ACC schools pocketing some money exit fee money but at the end of the day realignment has look let me just say this really quick because a lot of people miss this money is the measurement right that’s the thing you could put on a spreadsheet and and you can say we made more money it’s a bragging point it’s something you make a trophy access can trolling access and driving the bus is what uh realignment is about and it’s about getting the Best Brands Brands again that’s a Bob Thompson quote uh brands in your conference to make yourself basically unsalable so you make a lot of money of course that’s fine that’s G to come but realignment is not about money it’s about access it’s about your brand value and it’s about making your conference as strong as it can possibly be yeah uh Chris e wants to let us know that Miami is a small private university still reliving in the Glory Days of the 90s and early 2000s Miami is overhyped five championships in 40 years that’s a fact they had they’ve been down for roughly two decades uh what was the last National Championship at 2002 not even I’m not even talking about then what some of these other schools that are considered Blue Bloods Notre D when was when was their last National thank you that was gonna be thank you Mo yeah yes Notre Dame almost 40 years ago people Miami is a championship they’re a Prestige item it’s like that somebody something you want in your driveway and if the Big 12 got him somehow by giving them a boatload of money that would be brilliant but I think they’re probably Big 10 bound especially going off of the four four for four with the SEC which I I do believe they are doing that it makes most sense to me it’s a Camaro it’s got some dings in it but you can buff that out I’d hold it a little bit higher than that but okay well I’m from Ohio Camaro is like the top of the line I love Camaros I love Camaros I owned a Camaro clay Johansson says ESPN introduces a contract it’s legal and can come out soon keeps ACC teams together for the most part question mark That’s my way of thinking but I know that not everybody agrees with me I don’t agree it’s gotta be something bigger M it’s it It’s gotta be if if Josh pate’s uh information is correct because Josh Pate asked a lot of questions he got got a lot of answers back he can’t say some of the answers does that fit the storyline of just ESPN saying we’re declining I don’t know I’m I’m yeah go ahead uh Jamie Thorton says I agree with Opie that UNCC and UVA are wanted by the SEC are high academic schools I’m saying the SEC isn’t going to require research spending increases that’s not an SEC thing it’s a big thing and she’s saying that in relation to Clemson uh increasing their research spending so what do you what do you think Greg I mean do you think Clemson increasing their research spending was an obvious definite going to the big 10 or just kind of wishful thinking no I mean I mean you know um schools are trying to increase their research spending regardless if they’re in the Big 10 or not I mean that’s that’s the business of research universities so um Clemson has a 2035 uh plan of be in the AA by 2035 and I think they’re going to continue on no matter what conference they’re in um their their their their research and development expenditures have increased at higher percentage than Nebraska has since 2014 so um so they’re doing pretty good Florida state has done really good really good since 2014 um so you know there there probably is some Jamie’s probably correct there probably isn’t that th you know that that pressure in the Big 10 there is um you got to keep growing you got to be you got to be a healthy um research University can I put this up really quick moment for just a second Joe long is having a series of uh comments to me but they’re not all in one so I’ll just reply to this right now I never said Notre Dame wasn’t irrelevant Notre Dame and Ohio State there there you can’t go any higher Notre Dame is the biggest prize of them all I just said if Miami has five championships in 50 years Notre Dame has won so that’s how you can do some comparisons and even at that Notre Dame’s still higher I’m just letting everybody know that in comparison Miami’s over prer on Notre Dame for 40 50 years we’re not saying Notre Dame is not relevant we’re just saying they’re less relevant than better teams like Ohio State Michigan uh USC Miami uh you know I could keep listing them but I won recency bias that’s what that’s called uh the architect welp I was really excited for Florida State to the big more so than Notre Dame I think the SEC taking Gregs four is likely yep all right guys we’re going to go about another 15 minutes here um anything that you want to guarantee gets R going to have to be a Super Chat unfortunately we’ve got themselves against all buffers against anything else that could come against them against the economy sucking against uh inflation and all this crap that’s eating our lives apart this is how these two conferences make themelves stronger and I would even say the Big 12 as well right Jay says for all the intelligence in Chapel Hill it’s insane that they don’t push some of those basketball dollars into football to make it an even bigger profit we there’s a there’s a very short list of all the schools and I haven’t done the show yet but I’m going to of the few schools that could actually afford to go all in on both basketball and football I would say that number is right around 20 or less so that would be the reason uh Hino says thoughts on Florida State independent and license out the whole university and students for 100 million a year sorry I’m let me read that again thoughts on Florida stud yeah I think just they’re saying go independent get out no matter what yeah get out no matter what being independent for a few years at 100 I think was a necessity to do that even if they lost their La lawsuits against the ACC they’re still going to be in the ACC they’re still going to get their media money they’re just not going to be happy about it so no I I don’t see a reason to there’s no reason to go independent oh boy I wow I can’t believe how many comments we’ve got so far let me dollar right now and in 10 years they would still have more money than the than the schools that stayed in the ACC the the Gap is you know 70 million 80 million a year in difference it yeah anyway uh Michael Smith says Miami has zero ACC championships Stanford already has one from when they beat Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl well Stanford’s not a member of the conference to August 2nd so they can’t have one they have just as many as Miami is what you should be saying which is just as painful to Miami well Miami doesn’t have any ACC but they were independent for a long time well that’s true but he’s saying that Stanford because they beat Virginia Tech and that orange B can consider themselves an ACC Champion but um they were they were independent then they were Big East then they were the ACC yeah uh Florida State Clemson plus six others buy out the ACC Allah the Catholic 8 in the Big East 10 years ago uh poach top schools from the Big 12 well I know you probably don’t like that you know a role player on on Alabama in my opinion they would rather be a role role player at Alabama now I might be wrong right this is just my opinion but I think Florida State Clemson UNCC all these schools realize they’re they’re they’re they’re throwing out the baby with the bathwater with the ACC yes it was fun while it lasted but you know we need to move on the world’s changed Co broke the world of Athletics in in colleges and and my opinion that’s where they’re at they’ll get more money and they’ll be in a position to really be successful now at the very beginning you asked the
