what’s up locals well you already saw in the thumbnail you know what we’re talking about today we look at something that really could belong in every single person’s bag this is called The Run maker from discer um I actually went out and bought this myself I was super interested to see what this was about and if it was going to work as effectively as I thought and this thing was kind of amazing I uh went out to film it the other day and then last night I actually went out and played a quick n holes where I needed it in a number of situations you’re on the green and you’ve been there before someone standing over their Putt and they’re like am I outside the circle am I inside the circle am I close and you never know and maybe you go grab your Rangefinder or you Pace it out or you kind of make a you know a judgment call of like yes you’re in no you’re not you can jump you can step no you can’t um this little tool kind of answers the question for you what you do with this is you hold chains up to the top of the band all right it’s going to tell you um how far out you are if you’re at 20 fet if you’re at edge of circle if you’re at Circle 2 um I was using this like all night last night even in a situation where I was in circle 2 I was like well you know how far into Circle 2 am I if I could start to use this and get a sense for like you know I’m like I’m halfway out into Circle 2 you know I’m sitting at you know 50 ft 55 ft is you know 50 is roughly like you know for if 33 is Edge of circle and 66 is you know uh edge of circle to then that’s giving me a bit of an idea and I’m going to start to like establish maybe a touch of mental um muscle memory and like a mental knowledge of like how much I need to put into a putt based on how far out I am I’ve always been a feel player I own a rangefinder I rarely use it but this is literally on my mini and when I’m standing over my disc and I can hold this out in front of me and I can get a sense for what that distance looks like based on the top of the basket sitting here and where the band lies it gives me an instant indication of like roughly how far I am now I don’t know if this would be useful like in a tournament situation maybe you’d want the rangefinder to be like absolutely exact but from my testing so far this thing’s pretty accurate and for the everyday round where you just want to like work on knowing those distances this thing was kind of amazing even my friend that was at with me last night was like that thing’s kind of awesome and I was like yeah it is and obviously I’ve got my old Mini back here on the Shelf Bring It Forward I got this in kind of like year one of playing my pdj mini that shows my number 26900 uh love this mini and I always play with it uh but I am always a little bit weary that I might lose this and with this mini serving like such a purpose in my game where I’m always standing over a over a shot and once you get into tournament play you really should get into the habit of using a mini and the fact that I can just like hold this in front of me and like eye up the basket get a quick sense for like how far out I am um not only is it great for knowing if I can
