the Treasure Lake Silver Golf Course turned pink today for the annual swing for Women’s Health golf outing and K and Robbie joined the ladies on the greens you’re having fun for a good cause over 60 women teeing off at the Treasure Lake Silver Golf Course to raise money for breast cancer awareness yeah the the game of golf is a lot like cancer you have your good days and you have your bad days 10 cancer survivors joined in on the fun today one of them Karen deoya was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and again in 2021 and has played in the outing every year I think it’s fantastic the things that they do for the for for cancer survivors it’s great and for me um to be able to come here yeah it’s wonderful and after such a hard battle every year she comes back because seeing all the ladies it’s wonderful there’s a variety of different services within Women’s Health that the outing raises money for he given a wig they can have rides um sometimes they’re Maybe even enough for chemo over the past 11 years swing for Women’s Health has raised over $40,000 to support breast cancer awareness through support from the community and players the event keeps growing every year reporting in Du boys Keegan Robbie wtj news
