Zac Blair on Finding The Tree Farm Property

PGA Tour Member, Zac Blair, built a golf club outside of Aiken, South Carolina. He found the property for the course by searching on the internet for sandy soil land in southeastern United States.

the craziest thing potentially about this whole project and this property and and everything is like I said I found this property on the internet you know I literally just started looking like on a website for like sandy soil like tracks of land kind of you know somewhere in the Southeast where I could get kind of a yearr round type club and uh ended up finding that place just on a website you know and in South Carolina you know we got this nice 4 to 500 acre piece of property Sandy soils natural movement a really cool mixture of Flora and Fauna got some nice trees and some nice plants out there I mean it’s just so much easier to build a golf course on something like that than having to create you know basically the whole thing [Music]
