the only way this could work and it is a long shot to do it is if you somehow some way use it to build Jack Perry up and I don’t know exactly how you could do that I I I just I don’t know like it’s the only thing I can see that that would make this make kind of and even that kind of makes sense

Perry’s not a draw. There’s nothing they could do to make him a main event guy and draw as much money as Punk did.

Since when aew does things to build up their wrestler? The only treason they're doing this is because they think it will save them some dignity after punk revealed what happened, but this thing is already backfiring before even the footage release, such an embarrassing move
Real easily could build up Perry if it shows a sucker punch from CM Punk. Also would give even more evidence that Phil is a liar and manipulator.
