Vice just came out with two new Putters and I got my hands on both of them we’ll see how they feel how they work and if they’re worth the price let’s go [Music] so let’s talk about the putter starting with the Mallet putter this is a mil mil putter face it is pretty face balanc this would be full face so it’s a slight slightly off of fully face balanced and the cool thing with this putter these weights they have over here they’re adjustable so you can make them different colors they came with some silver ones like to stand out a little bit so I got the uh the pinky blue ones you know I want to stand out my Putters are going to stand out another cool feature with this is that V they have I think it’s a great alignment Aid honestly like I feel like every Potter they just have aign down the back which is good it’ll help you line up but this gives me a lot of confidence in lining up that V just looks really good so next on to grip the grip is a little bit bigger than most companies would come out with most of them have that standard rubbery small grip this is a little bit bigger than that but I think this is going to benefit a lot of average or amateur golfers because a lot of them struggle with a little too much wrist flip in the motion this this is going to help take some of that out so I think this is a this is a smart move on them putting that bigger grip cuz it’s going to help a lot of golfers out now let’s talk about the head weight on this it is going to be heavier than most of the putters you’ve probably tried I believe it’s about 370 G if that’s not the exact weight I’m going to put it right here so putting is all feel but one of the benefits to having this heavier putter head is it gives you a higher Moi meaning if you hit it not perfectly in the center it’s not going to come off as dead like if you’ve tried those Mini Golf Putters you hit it way off the toe it comes off super super slow but with this higher Mo Moi you can hit a little farther heel the toe it’s going to come off pretty nice feel pretty good the one good thing too if you don’t love the feeling of it’s super heavy the feel is all based on weight relation from head to grip so if you want to make the head feel lighter you got to put more weight in the grip and they make all their poters custom so that’s something they can do for you now moving over to the blade putter this one a little more tow hang it is also a mil putter mil putter this one’s got a line down the back which if that’s something you like looking at they have that option for you but they do have that little triangle at the top little V which again I think is a great little alignment a that helps you feel some confidence in lining that putter up again this putter comes with a little bit bigger grip this isn’t the same exact model but it is slightly smaller than the other one but still same idea it’s going to take out some of that wrist so again I like that they have this thicker grip on it again with the head weight too it is a little bit heavier I believe this one’s around 372 if not it’ll be right over here same thing with this putter as was the last they make all these custom so if you want to make this feel lighter they can just put more weight up here simple now let’s hit some putts with it see how they feel so the first part I’m going to start with is the Mallet putter see how this thing feels [Music] oo I will say you would think with this thing being 370 or whatever the exact number is uh grams you would think it’ feel like a sledg hammer trying to swing it it’s got a good weight distribution from kind of grip to head so you don’t feel like you have to really like force anything like I like that I can feel like I just take the putter back and the weight of It kind of just swings it through like I don’t feel like I have to really like force anything with it and for that Moi I was talking about where you can hit it like all over the face that first one I towed it and the second one I hit it more in the middle and it felt really similar which is which is great cuz I wouldn’t want a putter that if I miss it off the toe I feel like it’s going to come off like super super short I want a putter that one I did on purpose uh I want a putter that I can feel confident that if I don’t hit it perfect it still has a good chance to get the ball in the hole one important thing to every putter is the sound test you got to like how it looks you got to like how it feels and you got to like how it sounds so I’m going to put this mic real close to the ball so you can hear it so that was the sound let me know what you think of it I think because there’s a weights that come out it’s got a little bit almost pinkier of a sound it doesn’t feel or sound as solid as those but feels great love the love the look of it the sound I think could be a little more dead in my opinion but that’s just personal preference next putter obviously the blade let’s hit a few with [Music] this so same thing as the Mallet putter this thing also feels great being able to hit it not in the dead center of the putter like I don’t feel like I’m going to lose a whole lot by just hitting it slightly off the toe which is where my Mist tends to be the weighting of this putter the head weight feels a little bit more compared to the shaft so basically if you put on a swing weight machine this one would be a higher swing weight than that one which again personal preference you can always adjust that this is just how it came stock it just feels like this one is a touch heavy here with that weight distribution and again for the all important we’re going with the sound test so this putter obviously a solid chunk of Steel I think it’s got a little bit better sound because of that like the little bit of I guess gaps maybe where you put those weights made it a little bit pinkier I like this sound I was talking about more of a dead sound with that one this is kind of something I like to hear but again personal preference thing feels good i’ like that I can hit it all over the face cuz we’re not perfect so it’s a good benefit to have so that’s my first look at vice’s two new Putters it’s nice they make two they made two very different Putters it’s nice that I mean every every putter company has the same putter they make a blade putter they make a typical Mount putter they all have the same Design This is nice that they changed it up got something that has nice Alignment good weighting gives you that benefit of hitting it all over the face because we all do it none of us are perfect unless you’re Tiger Woods he’s got that cool little dot but we all don’t do that so yes let me know what do you think of these Putters do you like the Mallet do you like the colors do you
