tomorrow morning uh we have some afternoon baseball we got baseball tonight the Stanley Cup Final has extended to a sixth game uh and the drama builds after the Panthers had a three nothing lead they got to take that long six and a half hour flight back up to Alberta I’m sure everybody was thrilled about that last night uh so we have a lot to do today that’s for sure on C Toc as I mentioned here in the first hour I do have for the second day in a row the prime minister with me at the top of the show cam Stewart cam good to see you as always always a pleasure Carver I like I like to see the first tweet I got a Reynolds home run with Burns and golf that’s what you do tuck Harver turning $10 tickets into $2,500 masterpieces let’s hope so on Sunday at six o’clock yeah we’ll find out there that kind of a masterpiece but it’s a put it with the golf Wednesday I had and Brian Reynolds by the way uh he provided the only offense in that pirate Red game that is a final one nothing Pirates beat the Reds Reynolds hit the Homer in the bottom of the eighth cam I did have it uh as a put it with the golf play with Mr Burns to win The Travelers this week uh so we have a nice fat ticket on him now uh to take us into the weekend so I’m a big Mr Burns fan cam as we get going Mr Burns can’t lay all the guys I usually root against uh I’m going on the other side this week cam I can’t wait who cares it’s about money Carver it’s not about if you like Klay waddling around for 50 minutes before he hits a damn ball we also got we could have boring World Cup soccer two snooze Fest hey you know the Prime Minister he he’s Scottish so Scottish and Irish my family is so got to got to got to take the Scots plus a half on the Asian line and plus one with a little bit of juice against Switzerland and so far they’ve come out pretty hot they they’re taking the game to the Swiss the Swiss like a nice boring snoozefest a nil nil or a one- nothing type of game here Carver like like you said cam right before we came on and yes Scotland uh and Switzerland is the afternoon Euro Delight that we have here on coast to coast and these are two teams that normally don’t play with much Pace uh they play a slow down game they play a heavy in thebox game uh and you mentioned Scotland lost 5-1 uh to Germany in their Opening match so they really can’t afford to sit around and lose one nothing to the Swiss uh so they have to actually push a little bit of tempo here we’ll see if they can they’re five minutes in uh over there in Germany uh between Scotland and Switzerland Croatia and Albania 2-2 draw today that was an exciting game Germany beat Hungary two nothing they have already Advanced Into The Knockout round so a very busy day at the Euros Cam and it sounds like uh like you said you’ve got a lot of Scottish backing here uh in the night cap yeah more of a heart play there Carver but I’ll tell you anything can happen you told me like the Scots were not even that bad but the problem is once you get down a Germany five to one and now the Germans taking care of business again seven goals 4-1 against they’ve been they’ve been absolutely fantastic in this tournament so maybe that loss isn’t so bad and uh yeah we’ll see what happens today between Scotland and Switzerland Switzerland will definitely want a boring this game up and Scotland has to take some chances but I think Scotts maybe as an underdog getting some plus money looks pretty good damn good to me and Florida in college baseball cver I told you I’ve been doing really well with this college baseball stff semal so we got the whole state of Florida cover we got Gainesville the Gators took care of business today lots of runs in that one so College B baseball the NCAA College World Series has been great to me I should just stick to betting that and I’ve had Carver style accounts going there and uh put more into the they uh and those games have been flying over too the overs in those College base College World Series games so Florida won this morning they now have to play again tonight 7 East against Texas A&M and they have to beat them cam to force another game tomorrow against Texas A&M they’re gonna have to beat them twice similar situation for Florida State who’s going to play in about a half an hour against Tennessee they have to beat them twice over the next couple days uh to punch a ticket into the final let me give you the rest of the afternoon baseball too camp 3-3 Cardinals and the Marlins that’s going on in Miami right now they’re actually going to the bottom of the ninth they’ve played some close ones over the past couple days Padres lead the Phillies 2-1 bottom of the seventh in Philadelphia Harper does have a homer for the Phillies this afternoon scoreless in Chicago between the Cubs and the Giants uh bottom of the third there although the Cubbies do have second and third with no out the Braves beat the tiger 7even nothing uh first time this year I’ve seen scoble really knocked around cam he gave up a couple home runs only lasted four Innings as he got smacked around and we mentioned the Reynolds Homer in the bottom of the eth all the Pirates needed a one- nothing a quick getaway day win over the Reds there at PNC one other afternoon game that starts at the top of the hour Arizona and the Nationals in DC will have Brandon fought against Patrick Corbin in this one Diamondbacks Road favorites heavy to minus 175 uh you’ve got a big fat n and a half total here which is pretty standard uh cam when you have Pat Corbin on the mound and Fat’s not that much better yeah Fat’s a little bit better than Corbin but Corbin this guy’s rocking an ER close to Six Fat’s getting a little bit better but roughed up earlier uh I’m going to take Arizona and a parlay peace Carver I’m also going to lay one and a half with the snakes I think they’re going to go on a little bit run I can’t back Corbin I look for I know you take the Nationals a lot of time they put put money in people’s pockets but this is a pitcher with a one in seven record and an RA close to Six I can’t trust so give me Arizona and I’ll have to take them on the Run line as they’re the seen is own goals and you know the definition of own goal you know if it went off the defender it’s kind of unfair because an own goal to me is you know you turn around and you kicked it in your own net accidentally right we’ve seen some really crazy own goals over the years before but there’s been a lot of goals man where players just like drill it very similar to hockey Carver they Tee It Up Man from the blue line and they know it’s like the the the force that these dudes can kick the ball with now and the speed what are you going to do if you’re a Defender right the ball hits you in the leg at Ricochet it goes into the net like you I mean you’re kind of you’re damned if you do if you get out of the way it’s going to go into the net so it’s one of these deals but yeah Scotland gets an early goal uh technically an old goal but uh 1 n Scotland 16 minutes in and you know I like Scotland too I thought you know they had a team meeting after the game against Germany they weren’t as bad of British media and all that stuff and the players had a team only meeting and I like their honesty Carver they admitted Point Blank they said it was the opening match it was in Germany it was overwhelming they said we got got caught up in a moment and Germany just sort of rolled us and we couldn’t stop it we’re better than that and I was reading a lot of like Scottish greats former Nationals and stuff were all but the thing is it talked me out of it Carver because they all said I think we can get a draw today that was like the big thing that was the big thing they were like you know what I think we can I think we can show better and get a draw no one no one in Scotland and England no one out there said oh yeah Scotland’s gonna win today was like yeah they might be able to get a draw so I bought in too I was like yeah it’s true you know what I love yesterday the Czech Republic plus one and a half I love the one and a half Mike in soccer problem is they’re a little pricey and the Scotland one was way too pricey today then I’m like H you know what I’ll take switzland it’s only minus 110 that’s actually the smart play don’t get caught up in this Scott crap here we are one nil but as you know bro lot of football left and a lot of crazy things happen in these games that’s what I was gonna say like I just went to look at Switzerland now you know SW Switzerland are it all changes on Friday and we also talked a lot about the the Edmonton Oilers getting better as serieses go on uh in the past and they really have and here are some numbers as far as skanner is concerned uh skanner in games four through game seven in the postseason 9 and0 1.56 goals against average 938a percentage he’s terrible in the games one through four and then there’s something I don’t know like look back okay they forget about the King series that was an easy one for them they they got through the Kings look at the Vancouver Canuck series the Canucks they had them on the ropes bro right Canucks were up 3-2 Edmonton got really good in game six and game seven it was like man where where was this before and speaking of which goal Switzerland Carver is that plus 300 looking is yeah there tracking the in-game live odds and it it was pick them and then Rory was the favorite and then Des Shambo was the favorite and then pickham and and then deso it it was absolutely back and forth with like every shot they hit and then Rory gets out to a two-shot lead he’s at minus eight the Shambo gets to seven Rory misses a putt brutal brutal finish for Rory mroy and I feel for the guy but hey you know I mean one man gathers what another man spills Bryson Des Shambo took advantage of it the the shot you know you could argue that Rory kind of lost it more than to Shambo won it but the shot at 18 man Championship shot 55 yards from the bunker you got to hand it to a guy for that I I I’m with you Brady I think that if he would have just went you know lay up down the middle lay up in the middle lay up for a par put it would have been like all right Rory blew it but Bryson had to hit a couple of and I know the sand one is the one that’s everyone’s going to remember I thought the second shot out of that nonsense that he was hitting it in all day uh that native area where he was underneath the tree basically couldn’t stand up straight I mean just getting that close to the green going to be this week for Liv of course this is a Norman course uh so you know the shark of course run and live this is one of his places tell me a little bit about it yeah not to be confused with Michael Jordan’s Grove uh in Florida this one in Nashville Tennessee and like you said designed by Greg Norman a treelined property you know there’s going to be an emphasis which we typically see with Norman designs we see it at mayakoba which used to be a PGA Tour destination and now is part of the Liv circuit and then also TPC San Antonio which was also a Norman design that is still a part of the uh the PGA rotation and interestingly enough TPC San Antonio you had Norman as the designer but the player consultant kind of the right-hand man on that design was Sergio Garcia who you go to mayakoba earlier in the year a Norman design in Cancun Mexico where he finished third so I I think there’s kind of this connection with Norman and Sergio or Sergio on Norman designs maybe he kind of has an inside or an Insight rather into how Norman kind of goes about his designs my belief is you tend to have courses that favor driving accuracy Greg Norman when he was at his Peak number one in the world for you know I I mean three or four years in a row kind of before tiger came on he was probably the greatest driver of the golf ball in the world at the time he was long and straight and Sergio’s kind of of that ilk as well so I think that’s what you’re going to find here at the Grove Greens in regulation driving accuracy total driving uh you know you have if you want to do some research on this this course has been a part of the Corn uh the corn faery tour rotation I think three or four times so you can do some research there and maybe see what type of player is having success at this golf course uh let’s look at some of the uh guys at the top and then we’ll get our picks Brady of course Bryson is coming into this as the favorite uh off of a huge win at Pinehurst I was going to say he’s probably doesn’t have much in him but we s we saw sheffler win the RVC right after the Masters right I mean we’ve seen big emotional major wins and then suddenly go turn around uh and win the following week although he won’t be on my card Neeman Rah says he’s good to go after bailing last week with the toe injury that he’s got of course Brooks Taylor G Cameron Smith etc etc a good top of the field for us Brady yeah absolutely and no uh Des Shambo didn’t make my card either you know it’s part of the same reason I didn’t play uh Xander schafle at the at the US Open you know trying to go backto back in a major championship and there’s so much there’s so much emotion you reach such a peak when you win a major to come back and you know I mean Scotty hey Scotty had an off week last week but he’s he’s still Scotty he’s amazing is Bryson to Shambo going to win again the week after he won a major the second major of his career in such dramatic fashion as we kind of Illustrated at the top of the segment I don’t think so and you know I mean he he really kind of shouldn’t have won was he perfect around that golf course no so and this this course here the Grove probably even accentuates probably has more of an emphasis on driving accuracy which we saw all week long at pinhurst is not really the Forte of dambo he only hit a little better than half of the fairways he played all week so no he’s not going to make my card he barely hit any on Sunday and still won I mean that guy was he he couldn’t find a fairway uh on Sunday in that final round uh Brady let me let’s go with you first who do you got for me at live Nashville this week at the Grove well I talked about the connection between Norman and Sergio Sergio has been one of the hottest players on the Liv circuit this year you know it was recently that he lost in a playoff to d uh Dean Burman master has a number of top five finishes this season and I mentioned that third play or rather second place finish at Maya COA another Norman design so I’m going to take him here I like the way he is very good off the tea as far as accuracy and he hits greens and regulation when you look at his stats on the Liv tour he is fourth in Fairways found at driving accuracy and third in Greens in regulations so I took Sergio at 20 to1 I also took Louis Tas at 20 to1 who really got the year started off really hot but now has kind of slipped under the radar a little bit he is second in driving accuracy on the Liv tour number one in scrambling and number two in putting and then I went back to Dean burmester when you and I started these live Clips Mike uh burm was our first winner we nailed him at uh Dural Miami and that one I landed on him because of his driving length but you know what the guy’s fairly accurate as well is very good at greens and regulation he finished third at Liv Maya COA he’s ninth on the Liv circuit for greens and regulation and eighth in scrambling and then I went with a long bump triple digits when there’s only 54 guys in the field is a pretty juicy price 100 to one on Caleb Sarat who was 13th at Liv Maya Coba so I’m just gonna say hey maybe he’s a good fit for the Norman design I think the price is a good value and I’ll take a shot at him here to see if maybe he can clinch you know a win here in Nashville uh Brady me and you both had Carlos Ortiz of course in Houston a couple of weeks ago so me and you match up again with Sergio this week at 20 to1 so that’s the one we’re going to be rooting for the most here me and you Sergio 20 to one let’s both go to The Winner Circle again I think Hatton played great last week I know he let go of the Rope a little bit on Sunday but he’s in good form gu’s been waiting around watching all these guys play he’s going to play well and teat off this morning and they said to me that he is finally feeling extremely comfortable out here he’s not thinking about any swing thought he’s going out there he’s swinging so freely and it certainly showed today the way he drove the ball the way he hit his irons and even in his putting as well yeah and lived in Texas went to school in Texas his tour win on the PJ tour was here in Houston which is Texas and now his first live with Texas honestly it was just matter of playing solid coming down the stretch uh I think there was a good a switch there on 15 that I made B he made bogy and I just knew that I I had to power in pretty much and it was it was mine the 18 I made bogy but it worked he played unbelievable and and he put pressure all the way to the end um and it was a good battle I love playing here um obviously Texas treats me well it’s my adopted home home state so I’m just happy to get it done again in [Music] Houston and we are back ra Coast to Coast here on a into it this is the end of a tough stretch for them they see a couple of weeks off because you know a bunch of these guys they’re not going to be at the tractor tournament or the rocket mortgage uh here the next few weeks they’re going to be getting ready to go across the pond for the Scottish and the open uh but Sheffer is here Rory is already ski town as we discussed yesterday uh he’s not playing we’ve got Xander Colin uh aberer uh you like how they changed the name every every event uh cam they pronounce that guy’s name differently uh so since Dan Hicks went with aberer uh we’re g oberg we’re gonna go with that too uh can’t lay Victor Matsuyama and Russell Henley at the top of the traveler board yeah I’m going to tell you something too Carver on a short course it brings in a lot of guys like the 80 to ones the 100 to ones I even have a bomb at 200 to one this week this is the thing it it it it gives a lot of guys a chance to do well it’s about the putting right and a lot of these chalky guys I’m going to take guys in good form that need to play well so I know we both talked about our boy Klay out of all those guys on top and I look at the numbers he has a great track record here and he’s really rounding in a form and a win would do him well so out of the chalk he’s my guy yeah uh that that’s where I’m looking as well cam uh as we get to this and listen bomb hit here even last year an elevated event Keegan Bradley was 75 to1 uh and he won this event so I feel like a lot of these guys who maybe haven’t had as high stress uh they could be Live this week I think guys from 50 to 150 uh are going to be very much in the mix uh maybe cam kind of like what we saw in January right we saw a lot of bombs uh early in the year on the PGA tour and I think that we could get to that this week but I am going to take a couple guys at the top cam why don’t we start here with my outrights I never back Patrick Klay but I saw a little something out of him last week and you combine that cam with his sparkling history at TPC River Highlands where he has tons of top 10 top five two years ago in the final pair and he imploded on Sunday I think he’ll be in the mix this week 22 to1 is where I got him Mr Burns also coming in with some really good form 30 to1 for him the hith to Gala should have won it this place two years ago and he blew it on the 18th hole 33 to1 Brian Harmon another guy with a bum load of top fives and top 10 in this Travelers event at 45 to1 and Max hom cam I know has not been playing well and I generally don’t like to take guys who aren’t playing well but when was the last time cam you saw Max hom up on the board at 70 to1 that’s that’s a very big price for him Cam and I’ll take my chances I agree Max Holan it’s a short course too and the one thing he can do if that putter gets hot he could be right in the mix I’m with you Carver I got a lot of American flags there buddy your uh July 4th picks came early I got a lot of USA and one Austrian World Cup style Patrick Klay at 20 you got a better number than me Mr Burns we’re reading each other’s mail perfect type of course for him sep straa is my guy when everybody else lets me down every week sep straa comes through in my matchups he’s my friend at 45 to one JT Poston at 80 sneaky good fit for this course Carver remember the post man had him before for the first round couldn’t get four rounds in him but I think he’ll be there and Andrew putam checks a lot of boxes for me at 200 to1 he’ll play well there he’s not a long hitter but he’s very straight and it’s all about the putter with putham that number is ridiculous he should be around 120 125 not 200 so I like those picks yeah you know that the 200 was pretty surprising to me as well cam uh for Andrew putam this week especially when you just look at the field like I get the guys at the bot you know malady’s at the bottom at like four or 500 and all there’s only 71 guys here this week and if we’re talking like we think somebody from that range can be around on Sunday uh a guy like Andrew putam with two bills uh who’s got a lot of top 20s this year he could be the guy to look at uh let me give you my uh placements and then you could do yours after the break here we go lvic abber plus top 10 for him he’s a top 10 machine at plus 120 Tony Fen now playing Great Golf Plus 230 for top 10 Cory Conor’s Dunlap cam has also started playing a lot better you know he won that tournament turned Pro you know was at the bottom missing some Cuts but now he’s started to hang around in the 20s and 30s and on these leaderboards so I’m gonna go with him with a nice price with only 70 guys in the field for a T20 you you know me Carver I’ve been on dun lot for the last three weeks what happens when I’m not the good things are going to happen I have to add Dunlop to my card he’s too got too much talent and this is a type of course that he will do really really well on my guy is the same thing I love AAR for for top five and a 10 Fen now I think can win he’s in Better form at plus 230 here’s the deal I’m gonna ride you with Connor’s top 10 but I like that top 20 Market in case something goes bad like Tom hogi usually screws us on Sunday Bradley you got a better number Ash K Paya is playing really really good golf Carver he’s really coming into his own plus 170 and the toddfa he hits it nowhere but sep stro at 30 Captain Kirk at 65 Ben Griffin at 70 there’s Andrew putam cam I told you I have him involved at 90 to1 for first round leader and the toddfa at triple digits with only 70 guys I’ll take
