got another a new night we’ve started a little bit rough um it’s mainly been off the tea for me um and we’ve had to grind quite a bit we’ve actually missed quite a bit of greens early so if we start hitting our drives well I think we’ll be fine well I’ve been watching you it seems like you guys are still in it you’re still aggressive about it you’re still waiting for things to kind of turn your way I think we’re confident it’s just the only differen is I mean 200 feet of putts made in the last one and and 7 Ines worth of feet or 7even Ines worth of putts made in the in the second one so it’s uh it’s been a struggle trying to get the ball in the hole but we’re just going to keep pushing and maybe we have a hot back nine and catch some of the leaders so there we go when I make the turn and have a tough first N I like to think new nine just forget about that you guys could go low on the back we got great weather yes and this hole is a must birdie hole for us right now we got a birdie hole nine at least get into red numbers and then go crazy on the back nine this is the one this is the one that will set the confidence and and make us feel good going in the back nine and just go as for these players and from the black te’s this par three plays over 300 yards it’s just disgusting course record here is only one under par head by former PGA Tour player Craig Bowen who hit five iron about two weeks two week pretty cool experience right here though when you get out you start playing mini tours or anything that’s not PGA Tour even corn fairy tour it’s nice to play in front of a lot of people and kind of get that adrenaline going because when you go and you traveling week to week by yourself and not a whole lot of people out there watching mini tours it can be a little bit at at F out in linta his goal was to make it as hard as possible I I think that once he saw people starting to play a little bit better there he came out and made this place and said this is going to be harder I kind of did too I got to hit an inch behind that ball cool okay thank you so hard to swing right now now that Garrett’s on the on the green they should give his partner a little Comfort to giving you a scary look off the tea and make you feel uncomfortable I don’t think there would be enough golf balls and enough daylight to try and play the tips if you’re a we’ll call it a 15and handicap and you you’re forced to try and go around here from those back te’s it is just insanely hard it’s scary I looked at it earlier and it’s very scary what’s your handicap right now George uh son who’s trying to play D1 college golf golfing family Michael block the head pro to Royo trabo in Mission vijo California so that was on the previous hole this is their third shot to the 14th leaving a little room for his father to light some fireworks here at the 14th so I met them three years ago at the PGA professional championship in Austin was playing with them in the pr Dylan was actually caddying for Michael was a high school sophomore then and After High School decided that he wanted to turn pro chasing long drive while also working on his game to see if he can try and play Not Just mini tours but send of the game’s higher levels I talked to Michael during the PGA and he’s saying that his son’s kind of right in that middle that middle gray area where he wants to chase long drive but he’s good enough that he thinks he can play but he’s like you got to spend you know a little more time doing one or the other make a decision but kind of having a good time doing both right now and balancing all that he’s quite the content creator as well he is he turns around content almost every single day so I can imagine what balancing that as well as trying to become Pro how that’s going to go how tough do you think it is for guys who want to be Pro while also doing a full-time commitment to content creation what’s the balance like there I mean content creation a lot of people don’t realize it’s it’s almost a 247 job uh you’re creating you’re writing you’re filming you’re doing all sorts of things as well as trying to practice it’s it’s a it’s it’s tough let’s get an update on the 17th here Blair uh Bubby and mace they are about 160 uh just in the rough on the right but it’s all right not bad we’ve got a good look at the pin now this screen is really long but it’s very skinny so a shot to this middle green or a shot to the middle of the green would be excellent here anything right obviously is no good um but if they can get a clean sweep on this middle of the Pete diabolical you guys do not forget there’s a little room behind the pin back pin location probably seven Paces but it does fall off quickly into a collection area so you got to be a little miss yeah these guys got to feel like this is must make birdie at 17 and 18 with just a one- shot lead there’s a lot of groups behind them that have plenty of holes left you can just rip at it let’s see little left going into the middle either way they got a great put up there so they’re looking at birdie yeah they have about 18 inches I don’t think they’re going to have an issue with that as out in front by one see if they have one more birdie in store on 18 to try and post 11 under but will that hold up because Brad dkey and Marquez brownley eight under through nine they are just starting the backside let’s not forget about the blocks either they are on a heater blocks will not be stopped they got four to go but will they have enough birdies they’ve got four in a row heading a putter so I mean except for a couple holes but yeah yeah we literally flip-flop but I was afraid I was going to be playing the first couple holes by myself cuz his if he got delayed anything happened then it would have been right it would have been tough yeah so you went with the flow today what was the strength of your dad’s game today and what was the strength of your game today he hit aad straight and uh when I hit it straight it was uh there were wedges on whatever but um honestly I don’t really know I I think we were just ham and egging it I think that’s the strength of today it was just he would hit a I would hit a bad shot IID hit in the water he stuck it he wouldn’t miss the green and I would take it just just H an egg in it sounds like it was easy golf it was now when his it was a beautiful day out there I i’ had always heard of the P course cuz I’m a Chicago area guy as well and it was like just far enough we got to be committed to the road trip I never quite made it like the longest road trips I would do in Chicago it’ be like TPC Deer Run yeah go to Sil yes sir Bubby you got to tell me about this hole it’s 194 yards on the card today but it can play it over 300 yards from the tips and they still played as a part three yeah from 301 y That’s Nast the course record out here is one under from the tips and the guy that has it Craig Bowen laid up with a five iron to the Fairway and then got up and down with a wedge for par yeah that that is absolutely unreal I mean what does it play 8,100 when fully tipped out 8102 8102 uhoh stressful here you I mean this hole even from the uptas is a very difficult shot especially me I’m a very draw biased player I had to aim out over the water trust it yeah here’s seven I’m back to Center the green you’re just having to put put it out there if you’re playing draw over the penalty area trust it especially in a crosswind exactly exactly had you been here prior to this week I have been here prior to this week and played the Donald RW course never played the Pete di track yes did you know what you were getting into I’ve seen videos and I’ve seen pictures of it and yeah being a Chicago boy you know all about the P di ball far sometimes it works out well grab my fist such a such a dad set up well to the left trying to baade it in there not distracted just hit straight that big giant SL I mean that’s a really tough hold I I can’t really think of any holes that are not tough out here a lot of them are really visually intimidating too with the fairways being pretty narrow falls off one way or the other that is the biggest thing I mean we played the course from 6900 yard still proved to be a test sight line off the T driving out here probably the most difficult course I’ve ever played in that regard very tough the blocks out in front leading by one right now at 12 under with a 60 but you got people trying to chase him down on the course there yeah good ball yep sir yes sir ripping her t- shot at 50 it’s an interesting little t- shot there too cuz you you know where to hit it but you can’t see the ball land kind of hit hope a little bit yeah 15 I mean there’s like I said there’s just so many drives out there if you tried playing this course without playing a practice round almost impossible to have confidence on the team for sure you need to know where to land it did you hear the Block Story yes sir we have a chance wow came out here saw the pins today and how the course was playing there was no wind out there at all we thought nine or 10 would have a chance we were lucky enough to push it to 11 but you have Michael block and Dylan block on a team you heard Michael block say it if he could drive the ball like Rory he’d be one of the best players in the world Dylan does that and they came out here and showed it and the funny thing was today they said they were using a lot of Michael’s t- shots really because Dylan was a little an accurate and Michael usually a good Putter and Dylan was putting it well so it’s just the beauty of a scramble format where you can pick up your partner and you can have a day where you actually have a bit of a roll reversal I love the freedom that it creates also as far as just being able to play a little bit more aggressively this would have been mine um he going to move right left yeah yeah moving left to right here for sure you good I just want like pop it up on the F and let it just fall that way yeah I mean honestly don’t go too high yeah sock second at 16 yeah people don’t know how that that is a very speed terrible the face good shot second finishing hole another one wow that’s a great shot to get it up on the right shelf there especially from that awkward lie that he had sharf to save it great come on Big M I mean this is a big hole for them trying to get inside that top four solidify them spot and for the viewers why is top four so important uh to my knowledge that I just learned uh top four is in the money so first second serendipitous now it’s turned into this yes sir and then what was that night or something that it was that night the guys were like Steve and Garrett were chilling out back and they’re like yo Bubby come out here like what’s up guys they’re like just want to be a part of go good to moving the house like more than anyone it made it easy on my mom cuz moving out was like ripping off a Band-Aid just like hey Mom I’m staying in Texas she’s like what do you mean like I’m living in the house for the C Good Guys thought it would have been a little more gangster than that just slide you over a piece your group of good good you guys put together cool content the positivity that you guys put out in the golf world is nothing short of spectacular so be proud of what you guys have built thank you sharf with the big stick on 17 loes that one out to the right I feel like that’s a common spot safe over there what are these t- shots like as we’re obviously joining them now here on the green with no trees you have no sight lines to really guide you that’s the thing honestly having the gallery out there made it a little easier cuz there could be someone at 400 yards and the caddy would be telling us like guy in red shirt at 400 yards at your aim line go over there most people aren’t lucky enough to play with the gallery out here so you’re just kind of if you don’t have a caddy out here and you haven’t played it before you have no shot a lot of times that we’ve been talking about too when you get it off the Fairway it does fall down you’re just hitting up into the sky oh it the undulation the elevation change out here part of what makes it beautiful but also torture Tous when you’re out there trying to play torturous is word he said we had about 500 people around the first
