whenever you ready brother uh so you birdied the first hole and then birdied the uh the ninth hole and had three Bogies in between that what was it like to get off to that start there yeah obviously biring in the first what you were trying to do um was a great start um yeah things just didn’t go my way on the you know the rest of the front nine till nine hit it close again um gave myself chances to to save par on on those holes I made bogey but wasn’t able to convert and um yeah just a couple couple loose shots and couple you know bad balances I guess and you kind of put that past you on the back nine you got the birdie and then the uh the eagle just how important was that just to get right back on track yeah I mean it was nice I still felt good about the game and and good about things and was yeah just just trying to battle hard made a great par on uh on 12 actually and um yeah great to Eagle the the 13th there um and yeah feel uh things things feel a lot better when you do that and then that put on 16 there’s about that 40 put for for birdie uh just kind of how were you feeling after that and yeah I felt felt great it was it it really was kind of a tricky putt broke a couple different ways had some speed to it but um yeah felt like I saw it pretty well and hit a nice putt there and it’s always a bonus to see those uh drop in yeah it’s uh huge honor to to represent Canada at the Olympics again uh it was big goal of mine um you know since playing in in Tokyo three years ago that I really wanted to to represent Canada again and um um you know was feel for Adam hadwin he he was playing some really good golf as well and um know was able to to just sneak by him and um I’m really happy and excited to get to go to Paris and it’ll be it’ll be a lot of fun playing alongside Nick
