aan KH here 4 seconds out with George gr we’ve just seen Chris Smith avenge his only defeat in the professional ranks to Richard RPO at Rich RS own ground top me for the victory great win for Chris bam Smith wasn’t it um yeah I was in sitting ringside with me little score card scoring arounds but it felt really comfortable in Chris Will’s favor you know I thought he was winning rounds I thought he was at times when they were close edging out the rounds he was doing a better work he was finishing strong you know in that last minute 30 seconds of each round um R PA landed a couple of heavy shots um but only really one round that sort of stood out for for me in that respect um was pretty comfortable win for for Chris B with as the champion um he negated whatever Chris whatever RPO was able to bring R couldn’t let his hands go was bus enough and um is winning those punch exchanges you know finishing the exchanges coming with that second wave going ahead and body nice um great performance from from Chris bam smth made him a clear winner were you surprised by Richard R’s ineffectiveness now a lot of that will be down to what Chris Smith did in the ring and chamber G’s game plan but we expecting a little bit more from Richard well yeah sure I mean but the thing is it’s sort of that Yi and yang you know sometimes when you’re disappointed with a fight you have to pay tribute to his opponent who has sort of turned him off or negated his good work or just not allowed him to get off and I feel like we can’t Overlook what Chris P have done well tonight you know if you go back to the first fight where you know it was much more to and throw you know there there was being 50/50 fights and were Waring on the inside and maybe RI Paul was Landing the cleaner shots and that’s why it eded him the fight whereas this time around um Chris vam Smith just didn’t let r cour into the fight at all box a tremendous fight um you know simple stuff I think and I think he’ll openly say the same you know simple stuff but um effective stuff and you know had the eye catching eye catching shots and more than enough to win the rounds as they were you know accumulating on and I wanted react po if I was a react po fan I would want a bit more from him I want him to let his hands go throw caution to the wind you know and be a bit more risky you know maybe punch when you’re out of position or come with that second wave but he never had the confidence to do it and and I truly believe that’s because Chris Willam Smith didn’t let him do that um it was it was a a really clever measured fight from from Chris tonight you know at times we’ve seen him in sort of Scrappy fights I mean it’s synonymous in a cruiserweight division where we see Scrappy fights but that was not what we saw tonight it was a really clever you know technical boxing match and for someone who you know apparently he’s Limited in his boxing ability limited his amateur experience you know Chris gave Rich a boxing lesson tonight I’m full credit to him I noted in the fight week buildup the content Richard Rell said that he likes the ring walk of Chris Smith and he say he reminds him of George grose’s ring walks you’re no stranger to Stadium fights is the mentality different when you have a stadium fight and do you feel that Chris has really embraced that off the back of the blomo show and now this one he could have you know ultimately Chris is the one with skinning the game jump me skin the game and you know tonight it was about you know in his prep in a change room for the fight it’s like how do you deal with this occasion how’ you perform under these bright lights and he’s done it time and time again it feels like you know I know he’s only had one Stadium fight at Bournemouth but he’s headlined in Bournemouth numerous times now the pressure has been on him he’s fighting someone who he’s boxed before and has beaten him but he’s the one who came in with the most confident frame mind it felt like from the outside he’s the one who came in with that experience of big fight nights and big fight occasions and um he look zoned in and sort of Switched on and ready to go from the GetGo I thought every part of him you know if you’re a Chris bam Smith fan you know each and every time there’s a little bit of heart pations a little bit of nerves I mean obviously when he’s going in against going in against Lawrence Co was a huge puncher you’re thinking he’s the underdog could he get courau even last time out you know defend this well TI like is there going to be a dip after that momentous win after you know become a champion and there was there’s times where he gets caught but tonight you know even on that ring before a this guy looks zoned in this guy essentially he’s got skin in the game he’s vast experience now he’s had a lot of big fight nights big fight buildups he’s totally in tune with the buildup as well as his body as well as the prep it’s everything else and um I think he showed tonight an experienced performance from Chris B Smith way too much for Richard unifications are clearly on the horizon I want to go to the obvious question here J py being the the obvious one to unify against seen by many as the consensus number one in the division is he for you and how close is the fight between the two yeah I think you know you you maybe you can make a case for E either all but like the excitement is with g TI right now but we saw him last time out obviously got another win over uh breus marus breus but he didn’t ice him like we all thought he was going to do anything oh he’s going to beat this guy as a box of two years 40 I think he’s pushing 40 now breus he didn’t and breus came on strong and pushed him in those last you know four rounds if I if I recollect so you know I think that’s Edge the Gap and if you look at B performance tonight oby’s performance last time out you know it’s not a fullone conclusion that obre is is a huge favor going into that fight if these two are to unify one day um Chris has had the experience of boxing at home boxing away from home now boxing stadiums so you know you go a long way to go against him he always overcomes the odds and if that is the fight that we get next oyre against Chris V I’m excited for it oyre is is is an exciting fighter he’s someone who will be a fan favorite you know I’m a I’m a big uh fan of Tri as well as a huge fan of Chris bam Smith I’d love to see them two fight I think it’ll make for a fantastic fight but we’ve got Ramirez is Ramirez isn’t it out in the States move that to cruiserweight now beat G Marian so you know what be a lovely thing for Chris Smith would be we going to Vegas as Brits we’re going to go to Vegas and see um a Brit go and unify out in Vegas or or you know New York or wherever that may be La that’ll be you know a monumental moment for him significant chapter of his career something that I think he deserves you know he’s one of the most improved fighters in Britain if not the most improved fighter in Britain you know he’s the only male world champion on Sky Sports at the moment deserves an awful lot of respect and I think a lot of people within the industry thought he was going to get beaten tonight thought you know he was here he was just set up and he was here to get bashed Rich R was here to take the manle but he showed him that’s not the case there’s a lot more to see from Chris bam Smith whether that be unifications in Vegas a fight with obti unification maybe in Sal maybe in wemy maybe somewhere else um many many more big nights for christans if I can’t wait to see him get your thoughts on a couple of quick things before I let you go first of all uh a video surface of Tyson Fury drunk uh intoxicated uh in moram Pub heading into towards sway of course but the second fight the rematch were Undisputed does that concern you heading into that rematch with usyk for Tyson Fury if he’s going to get the victory maybe Mina C tail some of those nights I’m not sure when the date set I mean he doesn’t need to be in cam yet maybe it’s good for Tyson just to have a good old blowout before he gets back in the gym and gets his head um sort of back in the game knuckled down switched on so this I think this is how he how he operates you know many fighters do they have to have a complete blowout before they get back to work not ideal seeing the former heav Champions stumbling about falling over or what not but uh it’s not the first time we’ve seen it before and actually it’s nowhere near the the surface of some of the uh stuff we’ seen T do in the past so um I don’t think you’ll ever see Alexander usk doing the same thing stumbling out falling over making a scene of himself but may that’s the difference between the two Champions so um but the rematch is is apparently on um I hope we get it what’s he got to do to win the rematch what adjustments have to be made and do a lot of the adjustments have to be made in the corner specifically yeah I mean there’s criticisms from the corner those three loud voices that he was getting throughout the fight um but he’s in of an exceptional fight I think usk is an exceptional Fighter um he have to figure him out and there was spells within that fight they had where he was having success can he sustain that you know find it again and and you know make it last fight who knows but us you know he started strong had a little wobble in the middle rounds and then D it up and and nearly stopped him got got a points win so yeah who knows who knows who knows very lastly Daniel D’s now put himself in po position for Nancy Joshua fight at Wembley what do you think of Joshua’s chances sorry de’s chances are be to Joshua I think it’s a great fight I think it’s a great fight we should always switch in I think both guys are on a high both guys are performing well Joshua’s know really well he had that obviously that fantastic win against Inu you know cage fighter but still done well and um du’s flying you know for herovic he was an underdog certainly for that fight you know took some stick took some big shots and came back and stopped him and rightly so I think even know he stopped on Cuts du was getting to him was going to stop him you I don’t think it’s a forone conclusion that Joshua beats du like we would have thought maybe 12 months ago I think Dub’s improving Dub’s always got that big hit so is Joshua so let’s see uh I think it’s a great fight I mean it’s we’re looking for fights to be made this is a fantastic fight to be made and probably the perfect timing for both fighters in terms of their pass to cross now and it might just be for a full world title so why I George pleasure thank you so much for take us out good man
