hi guys I’m Darren arber PJ professional it’s that time of year when new product is coming out and one of the anticipated things that we like to see is new shoes and today’s video I’m going to be reviewing the Adidas retrocross golf shoes the Adas retro cross has been out for a number of years it’s a classic trainer style design which is spikeless and en coupled with Adidas’s bid to help reduce plastic waste 50 % of the uppers are now made of recycled material this is the cloud white Collegiate NE with an accent of orange which does make it look quite good to be perfectly honest what does Adidas say about this golf shoe well it should be coming straight out of the box and straight onto your feet and straight onto the golf course the golf shoe has a slightly wider front part to its foot uh which allows your feet to spread out that little bit and provides exceptional comfort and that’s the main main focus of them it does feature the ADI wear so system as you can see it does provide a lot of traction but not as much as some of the other ones in the Addidas range so I do think that this focus of this go shoe is more of a summer shoe when the fairways are dry and and firm you know there is a lot of cushioning on it it is designed for comfort so so I do think the summer conditions the dry and Hard Summer conditions this Gul shoe would be ideal as I mentioned the upper is made out of 50% recycled material they are waterproof so if you do get the occasional shower in them summer playing conditions your feet won’t um get wet uh it doesn’t however like some waterproof shoes have the Bellow tongue system doesn’t have that one um which it’s possibly a downside but I do not think that these real these Go shoes are designed to be played in extreme wet it’s it’s if you got a shower um the tongue is extremely padded the sock system inside is soft synthetic material and the so system is extremely um cushioned to provide you with extreme comfort as I said I think during them summer conditions when the fairways are hard so I do like the classic style it is something that does really appeal to me um I’ve bought these pair um to use in the Pro Shop um on my feet all day I want a really really comfortable golf shoe I have had ones previous to this uh and I really did en enjoy wearing them so these are my shoes this year for in the Pro Shop so you will be wearing not promly off course you will be wearing them on C so what we’re going to do now I think we’re going to pop out play a few holes and then I’ll talk pop back in afterwards and talk you through how they felt and how they went and if I had any issues as I say we’ve got very very wet conditions out on the golf course at the moment um which is not ideal for this gol showe but if it does stand up that to them then I think it’ll stand up for most conditions during the during the summer months which we’ll experience [Music] got what can I say about the adicross golf shoes if you are wanting a golf shoe that com straight out of the box is super comfy to wear I would heartly recommend these shoes I’ve worn them for the last few weeks now yes predominantly in the Pro Shop um have no problems whatsoever I have hit some golf shots with them as well and didn’t didn’t have any problems with slipping but I can tell over time when things do wear out you’re going to see a lot of traction on these gol shoes but I think they’re prably going to be used in the summer months with a nice pair of shorts um would I wear these myself personally from a golfing point of view the answer would be no um I much prefer a structured golf shoe that is gives me a little bit more support um in my golf swing my preferred shoe of choice if you have seen the the channel before is the adid Das 360 uh I’ve had numbers of pairs in the past and I do like a boa as well you know but I will be doing a review in the next few weeks of the new Adidas 360 with AOA so uh them is going to be my shoe of choice for 2024 so look out for that review thank you very much for watching if you do like reviews do like golf tips do like Club repairs hit that subscription button below and you’ll get updates of when I’m uploading content for you to enjoy and get more enjoyment out of golf thank you very much and I look forward to welcoming you on my next video

I'm not a lover of spikeless shoes for golf. Simply because once the sole is worn, they are a throw away item. Totally against Adidas' recycling and waste policies, hypocrites!
I do like that they have widened the toe box as Adidas are a notorious narrow fitting shoe…
Do they have a range of colours or only white mate??
