Golf Posture Rounded

Your golf posture at address should be rounded. Specifically your upper back should be allowed to relax and round. When your upper back is allowed to relax and round you can swing more freely. In addition if your back is tense and flat injuries are more likely to occur.
A popular misconception by many teachers has them encouraging a completely flat back. This flat back advice should not be followed. The increased tension slows the swing and encourages injury.
At impact every tour player has a rounded upper back. This is the powerful relaxed position for striking the ball. Start with your upper back rounded. Your golf swing will be more consistent when you start with your upper back I the rounded position.
