Don’t Make This STUPID Mistake When Ordering A NEW FITTED DRIVER!

there’s no better feeling in the world of golf than when you’ve had your fitting the driver’s on order and you are waiting patiently for it to arrive kind of not impatiently Bobby how are you I’d be better with my driver you’re very very impatient are you so guys um robs had a fitting for a driver we will talk through that in today’s video fantastically done by Luke at tailor by the way so hats off to you Luke it can’t be the easiest person in the world to fit cuz he’s a little bit isn’t it we know say we know no it’s fine we can’t say it say what word it is but you’ve got a stop Gap yeah explain what it is is it working be honest uh because the premise p on this video is how important is Club fitting yeah it’s not I didn’t hit it as well as I hit the one I got fitted for but it’s nice just to have something that is similar that I can use it’s nice to have something shiny and new is what you say it’s nice yeah it’s nice having a friend who has a nice club that can lend you friend verbal any I heard what you said about him when he went he doesn’t have friends a load of bosses like oh anyway so um we’re going to discuss how important driver fitting is because I’ve never seen as many straight drives in a row as the fitting that Rob did if you want to see that I’ll link it below or Rob might do because he’s editing this video but what are your thoughts on this one because I tried to get you something like similar spec to borrow because the season’s here isn’t it and the last thing you want to be doing is like waiting and waiting and waiting yeah no it does feel nice but you feel like you should be able to kind of not hit anything but it’s not that different from what I’m getting so I should be able able to hit it straight yeah you say it’s not different it’s a different shaft it’s a different weight shaft the head is the no a different different head actually so it’s totally different isn’t it is it it’s the same yeah never mind we’re going to have a little match today at willly Park Golf Club we’re going to play a couple holes where we have to hit driver and we’re going to see just potentially how good or bad this stop Gap driver might be guys are you were you’re this lovely big high drawer in the fitting weren’t you yeah I’m just going to try and hit that again okay and hopefully it comes off yeah not a high raw not your best if it’s past those trees that’ll be okay though I’m going to have a go with that as well cuz I’ve really enjoyed I was testing this the other day I was testing the ls version um and I don’t think I’m a good enough player to use version I’m going to hold my hands up and say it by way it was funny cuz in the in the fitting you tried it didn’t you and it was like I wasn’t good with it the the the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze was it no I tell you who’s using the Alex version Chris and tiger and well yeah what’s the comparison there I was going to say women but not even that can we put can we leave that in I don’t know right this head shapes so much nicer than the ls there’s your high draw that was actually quite towy but I’ll take that all day in the Fairway and again I think forgiveness wise for the qi1 is really good obviously the the big version the QI 10 Max where the whole story of the Quest for inertia 10 comes in is more forgiving and we showed that in the fitting cuz you actually hit that well as well didn’t you yeah but this one we just brought those spin rates down and hitting this like 20 yards further than yours yeah a lot further 200 yard up here we found it how long so lucky how long was this all 450 minus 50 it was 409 and you got 200 yards left in can I it’s obviously hit the tree like I’m lucky I’ve not even lost it there’s still hope there’s still help it’s our first swing at day oh have you regroup Giants yeah very nice I like these I let you go they’re a bit thicker even have a back oh only just good angle from over there is it great angle great strike that is lovely go on then behind that tree up on the green fun there is it I can’t see for the tree but yeah I think it was was a good strike wasn’t it how you finding the new isons cuz it’s been a year of transition for you wasn’t it you’re’ not not always being a a tackle tart as it were no I’m not a tackle tart nice bag thoughti to see it beautiful bag very comfy as well yeah his pockets for important is Club fitting and we look at the rest of Bobby’s bag I don’t have my actual club today as you can tell cuz we’re filming lots of product videos where I’ve just got his wedge out of the bag to borrow sm6 is that eight years old now I must have got it like or 16 yeah I’m not Club shaming but I’m just saying you’ve regripped it about 20 quids worth of grip on I don’t know anyway but works well we are spending some time at tiess soon aren’t we we’re going to go and look at some new product and we might see if they’ve got time for Bobby to watch me get a wedge fit in but CU I think that’s as important as anything you know making sure you’ve got like do you think this is the right bounds for you and stuff stuff honestly I have no idea no idea it’s 10° bounds standard grind s grind so that’s like just Square Face kind of shot grind it’s okay if you’re not bothered about manipulating it but I love them wedges yeah and that’s the thing if if they work for you then the feel labeled myself in this as well cuz I tried this out in the Ozarks when we saw the guys from swag had the round in my life with it and then it’s just stayed in there since Ozarks yeah like where they film ozar like where Ozark’s based have you watched ozar yes Oz’s men in it oh you w working with it you know what part of me thought you’d come to there but you didn’t did you no wish pay’s Valley yeah rounded my life with that and sometimes I think with a putter it is just you get on with it and then you go don’t you yeah I like but again that like and again not Club shaming you at all but have you changed L angles have you had them in a loft and line machine nope would you do you think you need to probably cuz that’s the one area where if you are going to buy clubs like this you can retrofit you can get yourself on a left and live board get yourself on a launch one’ll tell you your Dynamic Li angle and you can change them yeah I probably should cuz I don’t know what my uh we can do it on the golf actually we can check the oh really the lles what do you know really I don’t know Cutting Edge technology Bobby oh you’ve never mentioned it you never asked that is a gorgeous golf swing that he’s never had a hole in one could this be the time no great shot though thanks i’ like it to be said bobb’s just put his 69 back in his bag and he’s literally gone these are what covers on work for that’s great but I’m I’m debating I only have two wedges do you think I should have a third no okay no I don’t think you should games are good I think it would um it would add to the problems go on then oh that delightful little thing was it was a nice shot fitted wed and that goes in for a three but we’ll take the four I really want to get do you I’m trying to educate people on the importance of Club fitting but what you’re trying to do turn in turn in I’d also like it to be said that I used to coach Bobby for his put in but I haven’t done in at least five or six years because yeah oh you or did you not give me that oh it still still that’s two down now cuz you not complet the hole so this is where for me the driver situation sets you up for the rest of the bag and if like to me that makes a lot of sense because if you’re confident with the driver I always think it’s almost a bit of a like a chain method you hit more Fairways all of a sudden you start hitting more greens and the world’s just a brighter place isn’t it Bobby how high do you te your ball um probably about there I like I like to see up high and I like to my spine angle back and hit it on the up I always cuz sometimes I don’t think I te up high enough does it depend what tea you’ve got for the day who’s giving you what yeah whatever again this is all something where you can ask me and I can give you an opinion because we do a lot of videos on tea height and things like that but when you’re having your driver fit in speak to the fitter say Luke where should I be teeing my ball at what ball should I be using should I be doing this what flight window am I getting because of the tea and the ball and everything else because it should be an educational day as well as just a shiny new thing it should I think it was as well I think Luke did a fantastic job didn’t he it was show us the big high draw Bobby righty oh no oh no that’s that similar Bush that bird the same Bush least te height was right that bu I must admit this shaft I’ve got in here it feels a little bit wooden like a bit stiff it’s a diam it’s only a 60 G it’s t plus stiff and it feels very board like that makes sense is it too stiff for me then do you think I no I would I wouldn’t have said so I mean I’m not a club fitter but even just that shot there it felt I could really tell where the club head was in the shaft well people say the shaft doesn’t make a difference I personally think it does I think you can feel a difference in how you deliver the club with it that’s obviously why Luke didn’t fit you for that and fitted you for what was it the lzard I beg your pardon got away with it big time how far do you think we’ve got about 400 yards five would then well it is your only fit in club sound good can’t see it is that okay think it’s okay so here’s the thing we’ve brought a couple of clubs out to do videos today with and I’ve got this so this is going to go in both videos Bobby just so you know wow can we hit this off the deck we found the Fairway 9 and a half degrees it’s a full driver length slightly down slope so not idilic but cuz this is the thing about a mini driver isn’t it you can hit it off the Fairway but a mini driver obviously has more Loft he is not safe in that cab isy that’s like your Prime window yeah I wouldn’t say it’s bad I think a three wood probably does as well if not better it’s fine is it but it’s a nice knuckle ball the the spin rate on that would have been low wouldn’t it how you thought that was my knee actually was your knee oh sorry do you want to tell them where the ball’s gone in that bush yeah I’m pretty sure anyway can’t and the worst thing is that’s the only fitted Club in Rob’s B see you tomorrow
