wow I’m so excited for this one Jake yeah definitely a lot riding on this one right because Jansen Gomez has looked very good in this absolute division he’s one of those competitors that really breaks the mold and he has time and time again showed us that he’s capable of winning these high tier absolute matches right Jansen wins then the number one seed in the absolute division out of the tournament Gutenberg wins and it’s still a giant win and he continues his path now this is the quarterfinal winner moves onto the semifinal of the Open Class Gutenberg puts Jansen down gets two points beautiful finish on that single leg look at the pressure gutenberg’s putting down as well jansson gets to the X guard with the ankle loock grip gber tried to back except J is going to try to come up out breaking that grip [Applause] off gomberg has talked about putting a lot of time into his takedowns as of late you can tell he looks very comfortable on the feet and those new skills have served him well here against Jansen Gomez thus far he’s definitely needed them in some big key situations and we’ve seen time and time again athletes that transition over to the art of Jiu-Jitsu Squad make dramatic improvements to any hole in their game if there if there could be said that there’s any hole in the game of these competitors then they they fix them they improve them very fast now a little bit more aggressive on both fronts can definitely see the sense of urgency in Jansen Gomez he told us yesterday he does not like to lose only got about a minute to make two points happen oh my
