[Music] [Music] [Music] what is going on everybody welcome back to another episode of the run Pierce Sports swing for the fensive show here on the run Pierce sports MLB channel talking today’s six game tonight’s six game as normal a little shorter slate on Thursday but a six game baseball slate breaking it down of course game by game as always joined today by Mr third and schan Bryce how you doing on this Thursday afternoon I’m doing well good been doing a little better if the Yankees didn’t decide to make Alec Marsh like the best pitcher on the Slate but uh yeah had some good teams not GNA really get there but still G to make some money so you know can’t complain about that can’t complain about being in the green I’ve played just one baseball team this morning as well and yeah firmly in the money so we’ll take it we’ll take the The Profit doesn’t always turn out that way of course last night’s pitchers uh pitcher recommendations for me didn’t work out at least two of the three metc got there but you know you gotta get you got to get it both right to uh to get to the top watching some golf today and uh Bryce I gotta say it takes some special powers to jinx Scotty sheffler but but I managed to have done it uh locked him in you know wanted to get double the field on Mr Sheffer which meant the lock button on this US Open not going so well so far so been kind of tilting that a little bit how’s your uh I know you’ve got to have some big US Open how’s it going for you in the golf streets today I actually didn’t play as heavy at the US Open as I do for most Majors simply because like I was at that Wellness Retreat and like I wasn’t on my phone for you know three or four days so I threw 150 teams in the Millie maker last night like the $ Five Doll I think I ended up going about 64% Scotty which isn’t great I am three times the field on Klay which is good uh you know it’s kind of kind of hard to tell where you’re at just because you know it’s so clumped together right now like no one’s running away with it like I mean Scotty could easily still win this tournament like he’s only off the lead like so I don’t I you know I like the US Open in general just because it’s so relying on finishing position you know it’s kind of fun to watch these guys like not like shoot like 30 under at some of these courses like I really like the memorial last weekend it’s one of my favorite tournaments but yeah um I think JBC and I are actually going to the open in Scotland so his brother is like the club pro there and so he was able to get him tickets yeah it’s he’s like the opposite of Mark he’s like good-looking in athletic so it’s kind of a ju position but uh yeah we’ll be there so I’ll probably I’ll probably play much bigger for for the British Open than the than the US D did for this one heyy JBC is not a bad looking guy now the athleticism part I I can uh I can get behind that but he’s he’s a decent looking dude he he cleans up nice does uh does Mr JBC so that’ll be awesome uh I took my dad to the US Open at uh Aon Hills in Wisconsin for his uh birthday few few years back now obviously but that was an awesome time watching that so it’s fun going to those golf tournaments I’ve only been to a few but really good time uh and yeah I’m sure you guys will have a awesome time over in Scotland make it back okay you know don’t keep JBC out of trouble overseas we need to get him back back in the US safe and sound so I’m sure you’ll you’ll take care of that for us um I’ll do my best yeah uh we do need to talk about your Wellness Retreat though uh because I did see your beekeeper picture on on Twitter and I’ll be honest I would have put you very low on the list of uh you know run Pier Sports coordinators that you know I would have thought would go to beekeeping School uh Wellness Retreat you know you just got back from your honeymoon and now you’re spending I think it was your Onyx gift right from from DK and you chose to go on a wellness Retreat without your phone you said for two or three days what’s what’s going on BR are you doing okay over there do we need a wellness check on we don’t need we don’t need an SOS uh we kind of like a second honeymoon step out of my comfort zone a bit uh you know it was the there is awesome it’s like all inclusive and whatnot the only thing you have to pay for is booze of course um but yeah I I mean I did some out there like I don’t know I don’t really I’m not one for talking about my feelings or like getting super in depth Stu no um there’s a lot of like Rich Housewives some California was kind of like the vibe that I got uh but I actually kind of enjoyed it you know it’s kind of good to you know kind of decompress for a couple days and and get back to it so yeah hopefully we can use some of my new found inner knowledge to find the nuts tonight yeah there we go and uh uh this one is good the Aaron Rogers Darkness Retreat sign me up lock me in a dark room alone with some you know High Wasa or whatever and uh over talking to my feelings with some with some strangers in the desert in a beekeeper suit in 110 degree heat so yeah I’ll take the uh I’ll take the Aaron roders uh you know version of the the self-help over whatever the hell you did but enough talking about that stuff we do have six baseball games to talk about so let’s get to them first game on the Slate Philadelphia and the Boston Red Sox uh seems like we don’t have most of these line no no we do have some lineups never mind I just have refresh the we have tenner H Aon Nola too obviously pretty good right-handed PCT is going at it here in Fenway Park obviously a good hitters park in general and should really play that way tonight 80 degrees humid and winds blowing out to left center field toward the green monster one of the better weather condition hitting days in Fenway Park that we frankly had all season long now of course these are two good arms it does look like the Red Sox have what is it seven lefties in the lineup against Aeron NOA whose strikeout rate is much worse against them kind of off the Aeron NOA train myself we got some I mean Joe Ryan and gar crochet are in pretty incredible spots we’ll get to them of course as we go along in the show but I think I’m out on Nola a little bit of interest in h but I still don’t love picking on this Phillies lineup and then the Phillies Lefty power they do have a decent amount of it schwarber Harper stot three of the top four batters I think could do damage against Tanner ha in this game um so I’m actually kind of weirdly more interested in the hitters in this game than the pitchers even though it is two good pitchers on the mound uh where do you stand Bryce on Red Sox and Phillies uh I think you summed it up pretty well I don’t love the pitching in this game but like I I’m also finding a little bit harder to get to the hitting just on like a micro level like both these teams have really good bullpens so like yeah you would need to really hit them hard to like get into like the worst end of the bullpen arms uh I mean that being said I mean I think these guys are going to come in like pretty low owned on this slate I mean you know you don’t really want to play guys against like hola but you know it’s such a good hitting environment I think I would side with the hitters here um as opposed to the pitchers like if this was an absolute like dog water pitching slate I’d have more interest than Nola and Hal but I think they’re better reserved for like I don’t know say you’re maxing the $15 like I’m definitely going to have them there but you know I kind of struggle to to get to those arms on my main team I also kind of struggle to get to the bats a bit I mean I I feel like I should be higher on the bats here in this game like if I’m gonna be lower on the pitching and I’m just not really getting there but I mean it’s not a great match up for Nola as you said they’re throwing out seven lefties against them this Red Sox lineup is not like absolute dog like it was like a week ago like they have a lot a lot of their good hitters back um and then I mean the Phillies I mean if you look at the lineup like the bottom end of this lineup is like pretty garbage but the the top end is is very strong um you know I mean schwarber and Harper obviously wor wor anyone but I think if I was gonna take a chance on a pitcher I think Nola is gonna come in much higher on than Hal and I’d take the ownership discount with Hal roll him out don’t love no against seven lefties here definitely going to include these Stacks in my 150 um but kind of struggling to get there in single entry in three max I I might be able to get there but um I’m just kind of playing like mme and then like one main team yeah the problem with the bats like I think you we agree on a lot of the approach to this game you know it would seem to make sense to go to the really the Lefty power on on both sides would make sense but the problem is the bats that you won in this game are very expensive right so you’re paying like a you know 5.6k for a schwarber or almost 6K for Harper Duran Des are are over 5K so like the bats that I would want to pick against these pitchers you’re paying a lot for and they’re still good pitchers so it does uh you know cause a little bit of a of an issue there I think where I think generally my approach to this game just playing a few lineups tonight probably gonna avid void this game for the most part uh but yeah Lefty power is what you want Kenner H uh his like strikeout rate drops a ton against left-handed hitters but he hasn’t given up a home run to a lefty this entire season you know I mean we’re in the middle of June at this point and he’s made I I don’t think he’s missed a start all year so that’s not you know if you’re looking at shorer and Harper like you’re going to need probably a home run out of those guys at those prices to get there in the end uh so against a guy who hasn’t given up a home run all season kind of hard to get there so I’m with you um not a ton of interest in either of these pitchers but I don’t know if I’m willing to pay the prices for the big bats that I would want and I don’t really want to play you know the cheaper not great hitters against these pitchers anyway so little bit of a a weird game here you know if these hitters were like price adjusted you know if we could get Harper at 4,800 or something then yeah but all the way up at near 6K uh if you’re just playing a few lineups I think there are better ways to go certainly but not a bad contrarian spot for bats and with this weather in Fenway I wouldn’t be shocked if we saw this game uh you know get get relatively high scoring I could see these pitchers getting beat up a little bit but I probably won’t personally be the beneficiary of it if it does happen to go down that way let’s get to the next game on the Slate the other game that is in that uh 710 Eastern Time window it is Miami Marlins New York Mets we’ve got Roder Munoz pitching for the marins he just appears to be just kind of generally bad I don’t see um necessarily like any you know one thing to attack with him I think this Mets team is very much in play just kind of all over the board you know very high in the Mets last night Lindor uh Bader came through they had a pretty good day offensively um but I do really prefer them in general against left-handed pitchers R Muno does throw from the right side so that’s not ideal I still like the Mets uh at least a little bit here and then Luis srino I think is in play mentioned crochet and Joe Ryan in passing to me srino is kind of the the pivot off of those guys if you need to save some money if you’re trying to get in some bigger bats if you’re trying to get off the chalk a little bit because C crochet and Ryan are going to be the most popular pitchers on this slate so I do like srino a little bit I’ve played him a decent amount this year he’s come through for the most part I do think his upside is a little bit limited just hasn’t had the big strikeout games um and you know he took like a no hitter into the eighth or something so uh he could get there in that respect and this is another game where uh the weather you know should it’s going to play a a role in the ball flying in New York it’s like 15 to 20 m per hour winds hot humid we saw home runs yesterday in this park I think we could see some uh tonight as well so looks like a decent game for offense but it does say a lot about you know the Market’s belief in srino even given this pretty extreme uh hitting weather Marlin’s team total is still sitting around three and a half so I think Sabino is interesting here what what are you doing Bryce with Marlins and Mets I prefer the Mets side of this game for sure I mean srino has just been good this year and you know I I feel like the Mets offense has really come together of late uh you know Lindor is fin bad starting to finally heat up uh you know Alonzo he I mean he has power you know any time he goes out there he hasn’t had the best of years but yeah I mean I think the Mets are a high upside offense that I want to be over on here um I don’t really want anything to do with mun’s pitching I just don’t think it’s necessary on this slate whatsoever like I’d much rather take extra shots on like a nola or Hal like saino types like outside of the r crochet pairing and trying to pair him with uh with Munoz here so uh likely going to be over on the Mets bats uh would be would want to be over on srino too Marlin’s bats I mean with such good hitting weather you know you can make a case for some of them and you know if you’re playing if you’re playing like the super chalk Maring of crochet and Ryan like they’re cheap you know nobody’s gonna be on them you know if you can get saino out of the game it’s a pretty good situation for them so yeah um I don’t think that’s like the most likely but it’s definitely within the range of outcomes and I will have some Marlin Stacks against him yeah Munoz has pitched a total of between Triple A he’s pitched 41 innings in Triple A 19 in the big Ling so 60 total Innings he’s giving up 15 home runs which is a really really high Mark nine of those have come to lefty six to righty so both sides have got him to some degree uh yeah Ops against lefties in Combined 870 and 750 to right so he has been a decent bit worse against left-handed uh left-handed hitters and yeah I think Lindor uh I think is my primary target on the Mets but I think Brandon nmo looks good here and then of course you can go to really anybody I think in the Mets lineup as a decent play um srino I will say he does give up home runs you can run on him a little bit as well so I wouldn’t completely Overlook the Marlins if you’re trying to get different but you know it’s the Mets side srino and the Mets bats I do expect to do quite a bit of damage in this one so I’m with you on that let’s get to Oakland and the Minnesota Twins next I’ve already mentioned Joe Ryan a couple times in passing uh he’s been uh he’s been pretty damn good this season three and 3.4 ER allowing less than a batter per inning strikeouts have been there for the most part um and yeah he gets to pitch at home here against a very very strikeout prone a team that had a good stretch for a while but has really kind of fallen off for the most part I mean you know six of the nine hitters in this lineup have a a k rate north of 25% so it’s a good spot for Joe Ryan who I do expect to pitch well it is really good hitting conditions once again in uh you know in Minnesota and we did see you know very similar conditions to to what they are tonight yesterday when uh the Twins game finished 17 to8 they get Lis Medina here who is not any good pitching for the A’s the A’s also used their best Bullpen arms yesterday against the Padres uh I think potentially schlong a another big game could be coming for these twins bats you can play both sides of the plate against Medina he’s actually been given up more power to right-handed hitters so looks like a pretty damn good spot for the twins bats and Joe Ryan kind of similar to the Mets game where I’m really on kind of one side of this game and it’s it’s all twins no interest in Medina for me and really not much interest in the A’s bats either but what about you Twins and a here yeah I mean I’m expecting the twins bats to be somewhat chalky today I mean you’re going up against Medina it’s a great team total they just went nuts last night it’s great hitting weather so I mean I get the case for the twins I I’m likely going to be under on them as a whole um you know I’m just expecting them to be super high own like I’m still gonna have like what 15% twin Stacks but you know I’m not going to be I’m not gonna be going nuts on them I just I just think it’s a pretty pretty obvious cell spot here um coming off a monster game but I mean it’s Luis Medina Oakland has absolutely no Bullpen and they actually do have some decent both and arms that you know are not going to be available tonight so I get the spot um you know with Royce Le is back in the lineup too like they’re pinch shating less um you know some of these some of these guys are a little bit safer uh with the pinch risk that that really plag them uh to start the year when you tried and stack them so yeah um they likely won’t make my main team they would make if I was playing three max they would make my three max team um and then probably around 15% G PPS pitching wise uh you know I mean Jill Ryan’s pretty much the nuts here uh you know even if he gives up like three or four runs you know he’s probably still gonna have a ton of strikeouts here I I simply don’t see how he I mean unless he gets like I don’t know single bloop to death in the first inning um you know I think it’s pretty hard for him to fail here uh he’s the safest St on the board and uh also carries you know slate winning upside so uh I do want to be over on him uh I would personally rather fade crochet than Ryan like if you did if you do want to fade one of the two because that is going to be a super popular pairing so I wanted to you know highlight that um I think Ryan’s GNA come in slightly higher own I would guess but um yeah they it’s not incredibly hard to get to that pairing today so I think it’s I think it’s going to be pretty popular if you’re pairing them together you know I definitely try and get off some some like chier hitters or like if you want to play some of the better teams you know take more we bottom of the order guys or just do something to differentiate yourself yeah that all makes sense I agree with most the only I do have crochet ahead of joyan myself they’re essentially the same price tag I like both guys and honestly I’m probably gonna play them both so it’s kind of a little bit of a of a mood point but I would take crochet over Ryan I do think he’s a slightly better pitcher with slightly more upside and uh gets a way better pitching environment in Seattle compared to Joe Ryan uh I’m a little worried about the home runs potentially biting Joe Ryan tonight but like you said the strikeout should be there um and I just think Ryan is much more likely to get give up a home run or two than uh than than kocha is but I totally get it it’s actually been a a really good Home Run Park um in these hitting conditions especially to right field so like it against any other team I’d be a little bit more worried about Lefty power here but I mean you know they’re throwing out four lefties on this team you know Miguel andar is hitting hitting fourth um you know I I was buying on the a bats for a while and you know they did pretty well to start the season but um have not been buying recently and don’t really anticipate doing it here I totally get the crochet thing I mean we can just kind of transition into that game if you want I mean I’m gonna be my single entry team I’ll have both of them tonight I I’m G to get different bats I think these guys are by far in a way the two best arms on this slate and like should be like you know 65 to 70% owned and you know they’ll come in they’ll come in probably around 50% in high Stak stuff and you know even lower in in the m in the the $15 so yeah that’s kind of where I stand yeah we we have pretty much the same approach there one thing about uh Target Target Field and some of these you know well Target Field I think is the best example where they do play like obviously in April and even into May it’s very cold uh tough par to hit in and then it turns that way you know in September to some extent as well and so if you look at like the park factor for the entire season it looks like a a pitcher Park but on days like today uh that’s that’s not true at all and it will play very hitter friendly tonight so yeah we should see some home runs here in Target Field hopefully coming from the Twin Side because we’re both going to have more twins than we will uh a and yeah I’m with you on Joe Ryan I just think on this slate it’s uh you know you’re kind of getting cute in my opinion if you go away from Ryan and crochet and I’ll that other people you know try to try to get fancy I anticipate kind of playing those two guys and hoping they get the job done uh but that does bring us to uh Miss actually know we got to stick uh one more game we’ll do we’ll do what we normally do and go by the DraftKings order of game so we’ll talk about G crochet in a minute but first we will talk about the angels and the Diamondbacks Griffin canning pitching for the Angels uh very average arm uh and yeah I do like right-hander is okay against the Dbacks we talked about Jose Sorano being a decent play yesterday if you wanted to get off the chalk wish I would have done that a little bit more he ended up being much better than guys like Sanchez and whoever else I play I can’t even remember anymore um but yeah I’m not going to canning here I do think he would is an okay play at 5K if you’re really trying to spend up on the big bats then Brandon fought pitching for the Dbacks he’s been solid this year he’s been uh better at home than he has on the road he is at home here and the angels are one of the teams that has the biggest and I think it’s kind of a true split where they’re way better against lefties than they are against righties they’re one of the best hitting teams in baseball when they face left-handed pitching uh quite the opposite when they face right-handed pitching so if you are looking to get away from the chalk crochet and Ryan Brandon fought would be certainly on my short list to do so gets to throw right around 90 to 95 pitches pretty much every time out oftentimes enough to get through six or seven Innings he’s a pretty efficient pitcher in general doesn’t walk many guys and gets a good match up appeared uh and you know roof closed in Arizona it’s a decent Park to pitch in so I think you can make a decent case for Brandon f as a somewhat contrarian option uh looks like he’ll get what what’s the ownership on F gonna be yeah 20 percentage I think this is fair with him that seems like a decent play to me um what about you H Bryce what are you doing with angels and Dbacks here I I do like fought I would put him I’d put him below like the srino like Nola Hal tier of guys like I’d rather play but that you know that’s also reflected in his price here so you know those that’s kind of my pitching pool for the Slate uh those guys right there I’m not getting like super super crazy I think you could could make a case for Hancock as well but we’ll get to him in a second um I I do believe in the Angels split as well I don’t think they’re going to be very chalky here like none of them are like super cheap um like I mean you get Nolan Schnell leading off at like for for a good price but you know I don’t really see these guys garnered any ownership so I don’t mind being over on them here I kind of look at them like the Marlins almost but like I’d rather pick on fought than than srino uh you know Arizona doesn’t the roof isn’t open it’s not been quite as good of AIT Park this year um you know I think the bowl definitely has something to do with that but yeah I don’t know did you see that video of Zack Netto like absolutely crushing the ball the other night like thinking it was a home run like ended up being double and it was like a whole he thought it was like out for sure and I mean I thought it should have been called a home run but like I mean I see that swing anywhere else and it’s like oh this Ball’s going 450 feet like no doubt and you know it it seems more sensitive to weather to me so I’d almost rather take an underweight stance on the hitters here and you know try and Target some of these home run environments that we talked about earlier so and that’s taking into account ownership too though I think the Diamond Backs are going to be some of the chalk thats on the Slate here um they’re cheap they’re going against uh they’re going against Griffin canning um they’re going against an absolute trash Bullpen these are actually two worst bullpens um by and baseball so I get why people like it um I’m likely not going to go there on my main team you know I’ll have you know 10 to 15% Diamondbacks like probably 5% angels and I’m probably gonna be about field on thought I don’t necessarily love him I mean I’m just it kind of depends how hard you want to jam crochet and crochet and Ryan and then like the I’d rather have after him seina would be my number three and then probably Hal NOA than him so like he’s kind of like not like the odd man out but just kind of lower on the totem pole and I I’m definitely gonna have a smaller pitching pool than I normally would tonight in general just to get more exposure to the guys that we’ve talked about like so yeah uh likely GNA be under this game kind of as a whole yeah the I’m with you in general I’m not going to play much of this game I do think f is a a perfectly fine play if you’re playing multiple lineups the baseball thing yeah I mean it’s home runs are way down you know expected compared to where where they should be balls flying you know not as far and you and I both are clearly guys who chase chase the good weather hitting games all year long right for bats I think you got to do that even more in these conditions where it’s harder to hit home runs give me the hot humid wind blowing out games the good ballparks uh because it’s tough right you can absolutely tattoo one I mean the Braves have been the biggest victim of it all year long crazy some of their numbers and uh yeah I mean that’s that’s baseball for you right you you crush one and the weather conditions right now are oftentimes the difference between the 14 point home run and the zero point Fly ball out right and so I I’m with you where I think I’m really trying to get hitters in games that are favorable especially for home runs and uh yeah in in Arizona it’s not going to really play that way and yeah I mean just seems these these Arizona 4K guys fit like super well with the with the 9k pitching combos that we’ talked about too um same can be said for the Mets so I’m kind of expecting like diamond bats Mets chalk with the with the crochet Ryan team so I’m probably trying to get off those two teams specifically in single entry uh less worried about in the 15 just because you know if you’re going to stack them you know try and find a different way to stack them or like different combinations I I guess um but yeah that’s just kind of like the chalky build that I’m that I’m found myself coming to yeah makes sense uh that does bring us to Mr gar crochet pitching for the white sock against the Mariners here obviously a great place to pitch in Seattle and crochet has been fantastic all year long showing no signs of slowing down six Innings six pretty clean innings in each of his last six outings some pretty tough matchups too Boston not tough in his last game but 10 strikeouts now on you know Milwaukee we’ve seen them do a lot of damage even against good pitchers was awesome against them great against Baltimore great against Toronto uh 11 strikeouts against Cleveland we see almost nobody mowing down the Guardians lineup um and it’s just been fantastic for Garett crochet you know we’re talking about targeting parks for hitters with with good hitting conditions Seattle’s the opposite of it and and these West Coast parks that have you know the the Marine layer thing and the ball doesn’t fly there anyway and now you got the dead baseballs like Seattle I’ve seen some like our friends at ballpark pal who I used for quite a bit of stuff like they’ve been the most off on this game they have it as one of the the worst parks for hitting and there’s still been like their simulations have still overestimated the runs scored in in Seattle more than in any other ballpark it’s just not flying at all there you know Julio Rodriguez has had one of the more disappointing Seasons just tough to score runs in Seattle right now maybe that changes a little bit as the you know get some open roof games there I’m not sure the status tonight but it’s a place to pitch and crochet has overcome you know some like I said some tough matchups and some some good ballparks to hit in he gets everything going for him here a high strikeout Mariners team the ball won’t be flying I do think if you’re gonna beat cret uh it’s gonna be mostly via the long ball and that concern is very low pitching in this part so I mean I think crochet could absolutely mow here like I said I think Ryan I wouldn’t be surprised if he gives up you know two run or three-run shot that kind of hurts his day a little bit I’ll be surprised if it happened to crochet he is my number one pitcher on this slate I think he’s gonna rack up strikeouts and I think he’s gonna keep the ball in the yard you do both of those things and it’s gonna take some real bad luck to uh you know to to have a bad game so I love crochet here I wouldn’t entirely Overlook Emerson Hancock either his numbers on the year don’t look great uh but he is a reasonably talented pitcher he is stretched out he was making you know his fully stretched out starter in Triple A throwing 90 pitches a start he is on Full rest here actually I think six days five or six days rest for Hancock 7700 is not a great price but the matchup against the white sock certainly is obviously talked all about the park um and I think Hancock will go a little bit overlooked on this slate see him around 10% according to sabersim I don’t mind him at that number um and I just not play in the bat in this one so crochet I think is an amazing play Hancock actually my second favorite play overall in this game um what do I you Bryce what are you doing I know you’re in on crochet but anything else in this game that you like Seattle and Chicago White Sox here I’m I’m on board with Hancock here I mean you know weal you just got done talking about Park factors and you know I mean the Market’s somewhat catching up to it I mean a seven total in this game I mean I know crochet is on the mound but it’s not like Hancock is like super special like I mean Seven’s a pretty key number and it chose under like I I I find it tough to like BS here um you know and you know what you’re really looking for in tournaments it’s home runs when it comes down to it and you know even if they do put up runs they’re likely not going to come from the long ball so yeah I I want to be under on this game and hitting um I don’t care like what type of crazy Leverage is going to get you against uh crochet don’t really like the Mariners in his spot um if I did have to play his side I would probably play the Mariners just because crochet is going to be like 50 or 60% own but you know that’s like just for leverage purposes um not really my favorite spot for hitting I expect myself to be pretty pretty far under and these guy that bats would find nowhere near my teams if I was playing like I don’t know between one and 20 teams know if you’re playing 150 teams you know you could make an argument just based on you know crochets ownership that you could play some but you know I would rather Target Joe Ryan to be honest um I like Joe Ryan more than crochet but like I do think he has a bigger potential to like give up home runs in Minnesota than crochet does here Seattle yeah for sure for sure he does at least at least in my opinion uh Stephen misson Handcock has a pretty bad K prop I didn’t look at that today I was too busy watching Scotty sheffler make pars um but yeah that kind of surprises me I guess Hancock hasn’t had super high strikeout rates uh in the big league so far but I do think he’s an okay arm like I talked about um obviously the the park is a great place to pitch and there strikeouts to be had against this white socks uh you know White Sox team and like like half these bats like Nicki Lopez and Andrew bendy like I don’t even know if they’re capable of hitting a home run in Seattle the two left or the two of the three lefties in the line against Hancock so yeah uh I would I’m probably actually gonna bet this if this is true if I can get plus number on four and a half k for Hancock I actually like that I think he’s going to throw 90 pitches here the Seattle bullpen uh is pretty worn out their closer hasn’t been used in three days but uh three of the seven guys in there have pitched in the last two days and I think they’re gonna ask Hancock to go pretty deep into this game so I might be hitting that uh might be hitting that Emerson Hancock uh strikeout prop after the game and I do certainly like crochet of course to Rack them up as well in on the pitching in this game and and like you Bryce no hitters for me really in uh in Chicago and Seattle last game of the Slate we will of course do stacks pitchers home run calls all that after this game good time to remind you hit the like button if you haven’t done so so far got a good crew watching today on this Thursday afternoon and if you want all the winners for every sport you can use promo code dc15 for 15% off your first weekly or monthly payment all right last game on the Slate is the Dodgers and the Rangers Michael lenzen pitching for the Rangers he’s been pretty good this year but has had a pretty easy schedule for the most part he’s been in the league a long time we kind of know what to expect with him I don’t think he’s anyone you need to avoid I think the Dodgers uh certainly have a reasonable claim to being the top stack on the night against Lorenzen and a bad Texas Bullpen and in Michael Grove pitching for the Dodgers least opening uh looks like yeah he did Pitch two days ago went just an inning there but probably an inning or two from Grove and then Ryan Yaro soft tossing Lefty who’s actually been decently effective uh I would expect him to pitch I don’t know three or four Innings my opinion neither of those pitchers are in play Lorenzen himself is not in play and I think it’s really the Dodgers bats that you’re looking at in this game not a ton of interest in going to the Texas bats in the Dodgers bull game goingon to play matchups and all that stuff all game long so I don’t love it there but the Dodgers bats I think do look uh pretty good what are you Bryce Dodgers and Rangers last game on the Slate year don’t want anything to do with the Dodgers pitching situation here there just plenty of good pitchers on the Slate I don’t think you need to play relievers uh Texas Lorenzen I mean he’s been decent but you know it’s been a pretty pretty easy schedule for him here uh Dodgers lineup it a whole different animal I I definitely like the Dodgers here um they are harder to fit with crochet um Ryan pairing so I think that makes them like less chalky um with just as much upside like I worry a little bit less about Park factors when you have like Chell Otani hitting the ball so I I want to be over the Dodgers here I want don’t really love the Texas bats here um you’re not really getting Leverage off any pitching like i’ I’d rather stack like probably the A’s against Ryan to be honest than like stacked Rangers just because you’re getting some leverage um against the opposing pitcher you’re getting none here because I don’t think the Dodgers arms are going to carry any ownership uh so yeah I think Texas is probably for that reason my least favorite team on the Slate them and the white socks would be like the first two teams that I would cross off if you’re looking to cross off teams so if they beat me they beat me it is what it is uh don’t mind the Dodgers here um you know they’re they’re harder to get to just because you know you have good pitching that you want to pay for and you know the bats that you want in the Dodgers lineup that aren’t going to get pinch it for pretty much all like turbo expensive and you kind of need like a cheaper arm to fill it out so they they work better as minis um you know just in terms of lineup Construction but I do think that keeps their ownership in check so I do like them a good amount tonight and if you can get to a Dodgers five man I think it’ll definitely be like a different type of build than than you’ll see in a majority of the contests yeah agree with all that that is all six games let’s do the good stuff here at the end of the show get on out of here build our lineups get our cores in and uh yeah hopefully get to you the winner circle tonight I’ll give you the floor ryce obviously Limited options tonight but favorite stack and favorite contrarian stack on the Slate uh favorite stack of the night God I’m gonna hate myself for saying this but uh keep me the Mets um favorite contrarian stack of the night is a little different question um I probably go I’m probably good with the Marlins to be honest them and the A’s I think offer pretty good hitting environments in Road teams I’m gonna go with the Mets too they are my favorite stack just want to pick on Roder Munoz a little bit of a worn out Bullpen from Miami as well and uh the hitting conditions there just just so good also the the uh the Marl yeah I do prefer them generally against lefties but I mean the the Mets rather ever since they move you know this is it’s not necessarily because of this but ever since they moved Lindor to leadoff spot this Mets team has done much much better I’m not saying that’s the reason why but you know some sometimes uh you just you need a little spark and it seems like the Mets have it you know they got Vientos in there instead of Brett batty that’s been a big change for them and J Martinez has been hitting so I’m with you I think the Mets do some damage on Roder Muno and this Marlin stack or Marlin pitching stack rather uh contrarian sack it’s kind of tough tonight honestly um really like the contrarian sacks too much um but I’ll go with the Phillies now they’re not going to be cheap but no one’s gonna play them and Tanner H how not nearly as good against lefties maybe some of those big Phillies bats could get the job done uh your most important pitcher tonight Bryce who you uh who you loading up on at the pitcher position I think you kind of talked me into crochet over Ryan at this point so I’m gonna go with crochet I got the same answer cret over Ryan um if you need to get a little different I don’t mind uh Brandon fought and Emerson Hancock in that cheaper range I don’t think I would go lower than those two guys though even if playing a bunch of lineups uh playing 150 maybe would include the 5K Griffin canning but I’m with you Garrick crochet my Ace of the night for sure uh home run calls who’s going deep tonight BR uh give me the polar bear pet Alonzo nice well he was good to me last night I’ll stick with my guy Francisco Lindor I think he’s uh kind of in the middle of going on a tear here yeah I saw you hit that huge parlay with him congratulations thank you nice little profit boost with it too yeah my DFS seem the best because uh yeah I didn’t have the right pictures but you know I was logging in to see how my other bets were doing and I’m like oh I have 14,000 more dollars in my account than I thought I did I thought it was like a mistake because I knew my and I just for you know you you make like the the DK boost bets that they give you but you don’t always necessarily put like the most or at least I don’t put like the most thought into them so I had forgotten that I had made that bet and kind of like given up on the night to some extent I was just hoping to salvage a little bit so that was a certainly certainly a nice surprise to uh to look at when logging in to draff Kings there um favorite overall hitter on the Slate Lindor would have been my answer I used him for a home run call so I will go a different direction uh so take a second here but what about you br who’s your favorite overall hitter on the Slate um we’ll go non-mets because it’s pretty it’s pretty obvious that that we like the Mets tonight um I’m gonna go with Royce Lewis I think that people might not play him at 6K and I think K’s an absolute stud it’s a great spot for him love it I will go with Willie Castro leading off for the twins safe from the pin risk switch hitter gonna be in there all game had a big game yesterday and I wouldn’t be surprised the twins did it again after putting up 17 runs yesterday in similar hitting conditions than they had to uh yesterday’s slate that’ll do it for us on this shorter Thursday slate we do appreciate all you guys watching hit the like button on your way out if you haven’t yet done so big Friday Night fireworks slate tomorrow I’ll be around stats and uh I think Ben gone will be joining me for that one as well we’ll see it’ll be a three-man booth it’ll be a good time normal time and place on Friday night good luck in all your lineups hope we’ll see a bunch of RPS logos up top and uh till tomorrow that’ll do it for us for third in long I’m draft cheat we’re out of here [Music]
