Can I shoot under par if I play the front tees?

how y’all doing and welcome back to another Bubby golf video today’s video is one we have done two times and have not gotten it yet today is can I break par from the front teas these videos are mad fun it’s a different test of the game yall know I like banging driver out there but I’m kind of learning how to course manage especially I’m going to start working with Scott faucet owner and founder of decade golf he teaches golf strategy some of the best players in the world you saw a good good house tour he’s letting us live in his house he a very nice guy but yeah he thinks he can get me to scratch so kind of like doing these challenges teach you how to cour teach me how to course manage and kind of learn it myself and then Scott will be coming on to the channel later to take me to that next level up trying to get better golf but yeah we’re out here today at uh the tribute Golf Club trying to break power from the front te’s my wedges feel good I played pretty well in the last two good good Majors stay tuned for those some beautiful tracks we got coming y’all’s way but yeah all right yall whole one 310 yards 5 iron just play smart make your birdies when you can one under par that’s all we’re looking for today let’s get to it stay there it bounced I expected that to draw but we should be fine all right y’all we got pretty lucky to start off with I mean this ground has got to be firm cuz it took a big bounce must have just hugged the edge of I think it’s called the burn the burn something like that I mean I’ve only got 45 yards left and the hole was 310 so that was a long five iron but yeah just put it up there close anything inside 15 ft give ourselves birdie looks like that all day be very happy with it it’s a tough shot cuz you have that short not a whole lot of green to work with I’m happy with that that’s the thing we’re talking about course management lay back give myself more of a full swing wedge in becomes a much simpler hole for me I didn’t think that 5 hour would go that long I thought I would have like 80 90 yards left but birdie puup come on should be down the hill a little left to right this be massive get the one under through one take advantage of one of the tougher holes come on oh you dirty dog I thought that it was trying power on hole one again any other day I make nine pars I’m very happy about that but eight Pars in a birdies where we need to get the job done today the first two episodes we’ve come pretty close this track does set up pretty well for me I’ll be honest there was a bit of a strategic game plan in here by doing it on the front line out here at the tribute should be able to do it let’s go all right y’all solid power there on hole one we’ve made our way up to Hole two it’s 348 yards down win gets tight up there around the green though you can’t really miss left or Miss right I might hit four iron ad just a 194 carry of the creek up there and with the way to ground is I think my 4 iron will go 270 290 today still make it a very attackable hole I haven’t I no warm-ups today haven’t hit a driver yet we’ll figure it out the guys are on the green I don’t know when you see the next clip whatever club I’m hitting that’s what I decided to do that’s going to be if that gets a big bounce oh yeah as that ball was in the air you know what I realized I did what look at where the pin’s at I really shorted side of myself damn see those are things I got to realize that’s what Scott’s going to teach me normally I just get up to the hole and I hit it and hopefully it goes straight but this one I know if even if I miss way right the angle’s perfect I just missed left with a good shot honestly now it’s going to be a very tough up and down we can make it birdie though we can do it all right y’all we hit a good drive here found the left side of the Fairway and speaking of course management my ball was right here around this thing not entirely sure I’m not entirely sure how the rules work exactly but I took relief to the right to give me a little better angle in I got 63 yards left 50 51 yards to cover the FR just a really tough shot uphill downwind anything inside 20 ft I’m very happy with I thought that was so good dog we didn’t need like a yard two more yards and it would have been right up there yep all good see that’s what I get I think I got to chase birdies out here I have to wait for the opportunity to make birdies now I got a tough two for power but we should be able to handle it birdie next come on all right y’all we found ourselves here in this position gosh we literally talked just get it on the right tier it’s all right two putts get out of here it’s like never happened de straight far there we go pars are fine we’ll find that birdie we’ll find it all right y’all par par start I’m all right with that but like I said got break par today we got a par five now I think it’s only like 445 450 yards wind hurting off the left but still I should have a wedge into this green hit a fade up that left side leave us in a good spot make a birdie maybe we make an eagle that’d be massive but birdies will take stay gu got to be right side of Fairway yeah I think it’s that that’s the tough thing about son’s playing the up teas and taking the driver out is it brings it brings other stuff into play the fair is a little wider 50 yards behind that but got to hit driver got got to try and shoot on par here all right y’all speaking about how sometimes when you play the up teas and hit driver you get more into trouble this whole burm kind of runs and we hit it right into the peninsula but we stayed in play by a little bit we’ll take it we got 133 playing up to 137 into that wind off the left I don’t know just give ourselves a putt that’s all I’m thinking just going to hit a nice light PE wedge let it run on up there come on yeah grabbed it just kind of grabbed it and turned it over but hey pin High On a par five obviously we want better than that but chipping feels good putting feels nice I still think we’ll get out of here with birdie you got Tried by a 12-year-old I’m catching Strays dog it’s kind of funny actually I appreciate that young man we’re walking up to my ball and obviously I’m chucking through the weeds I think there’s a young man over there who’s a fan or watches go good watches the channel he’s like hey hey how you doing he’s like why’d you hit it in the water like I’m not trying dude I appreciate it though I appreciate it we got a tough shot here just get it up there on the green somewhere give ourselves a look at birdie well y’ we took a very opportune hole and did not make the most of it but that’s all right we still got this for par very chip inable pretty DK straight just chip it in get out of here come on what was that bounce dog did you see that thing just kicked straight left go we should be able to handle that this hole could have really gotten out of hand make that for bogy you still got a chance all right that’s fine hey we hit a good chip and a good putt to finish off the hole Yeah y’ I hit a good drive obviously was a little bit out of position should have made birdie there but we’ll take right 1 2 3 4 5 6 Bogey’s fine we can bounce back from that I’m just going to put a good swing on it hit it the same way we did two holes ago just I was telling Jackson telling tra decid to make it one birdie now he’s got to make two birdies we still have a chance to win this challenge come on Tom what are you doing dog just be safe somehow got to grind all right y’all we’re in play up here on the right side SPL hadit a beautiful drive he’s he’s pretty much on the front edge of the green nice drive big fell I still have 100 still have 135 yards left just downwind out of this slide just a nice smooth 58° should be nice come on we got to make a bird I’ve never hit more of a knuckle ball be okay did you see it just knuckling and then it landed on the down slope and ran over the back of the green with some heat did you see that ball flight yeah it was like just a knuckle ball bro all good all right y’all all circumstances brought into play downwind out of that lie everything I’m actually very happy with the shot got a really straightforward chip breaking right to left some just make a I thought that was in I thought that was in dog that was nasty bro oh my gosh I went up there and looked it that was just the grain the grain just took it damn dog that looks so good for so long that’s the thing I’ve gained a lot of confidence on those chips around the green and everything everything’s feeling good all right one over we can find two more birdies on the way in come on 80 80 Yard part three this is an opportunity if I ever seen one up there inside 10 ft Tom you know it’s going to release probably fly it 7375 come on h a good shot really you got a bad k bro dude and then that one stopped like that one all good all right y’all birdie chance to birdie Chance some are better than others but that’s all right it’s ball can go in the hole downhill little left to right grain running away from me put a put a good roll on it see if we got our first birdie of the day roll dog I’m really happy with that short game around the greens putting’s good it’s my proximity to the pin I got to make it a little bit better all right one over four holes left got to find two birdies on the way in one of them is a par five hey maybe it comes down we just make pars the rest of the way out got to Eagle the final that’d be a fun fun scenario all right y’all making our way up the whole six we have a 318 yd par for right into the wind I think if I hit driver I could get there but it’s tight up there again I’m just going to hit 4 iron up the right side hopefully it draws back a little bit leaves us a good look try to make Birdie the old fashioned way come on oh yeah left side I saw that think kick left I’m like damn I might have to go watch that we good all right y’all good drive there found the left side of the Fairway 101 yds left right back into the wind I think just a pretty nice 60° should be the perfect Club come on we got to make a birdie dude that’s so bad TR all right y’all not our best effort there but a birdie putts birdie putt up the hill little left to right going have to put a good run on it again just get out of here with par focus on the last three holes try and get the job done come on come on line all right must makeer we got to play the last three three under yeah left Edge are Pace that come on that’s a big two that’s massive a big that’s massive that keeps the mo going you got to find two birdies on the way in that’s doable come on big par save there happy with that we got another 319 Yard part four right back into the wind not going to hit driver get so tight up there take four iron hit in the Fairway even after last wedge shot I still trust the wedges I think we’ll find a birdie or two on the way in try and win this video come on let’s h a good shot shot come on that’s start we needed all right y’all solid drive there we have 97 playing up to 101 right into the wind I’m going to stick with the 60° again let’s put a good swing out there’s a little back stop there just make sure you get it there Tom just normal shot don’t try and do nothing fancy just inside 15 ft for birdie come on all right that was a good swing though can’t be upset put a good swing on it just make a putt come on kid making a birdie getting this back to even par come on we digging come on let’s go that felt nice that felt nice come on kid let’s keep it rolling all right y’all we got a part three here 157 playing with the 159 right into to a win I’m hit a n ey everything on that back right portion of the green kind of worked toward kind of worked towards it unless you missed too far left I’m just going to hit the ball the hole what are you doing all right y’all my Ball’s actually fine got a bad kick in this stuff again though not a good shot but got a chance to make par then just birdie or Eagle on the last let’s put us up there close get ourselves a look at par come on get out thank you all right y’all we got a putt that’s about all I know about it right now trying to decide if it goes right to left or left to right looks pretty damn straight let’s put a good roll on it well now this is a must make just mistake off the te that’s all right though part five to finish so an eagle is possible and I do believe it’s going to be down wind so yeah just Eagle the Finish that’s all we need all right y’all the goal is simple we are one over coming into the last hole it’s a par five which is nice it’s only 410 yards downwind it’s got to make a three we make an eagle we win the challenge shoot one under par all starts with a good drive though come on [Music] we’ll find it all right y’all we got very lucky we hit a far enough right where we carried everything we only have what’ you say 115 that wind I think down so it’s going to be kind of like a crosswind I don’t know I probably got to land at 105 I’m just going to hit a nice light 58° give ourselves a putt give us a chance that’s all we need I felt like an all right swing the wind just kind of started to take it hey it’s up there somewhere we’re going to have a chance to make a three set out accomplish our goal come on all right y’all no shot after this matters this has to go to get the under power on this nine just hit a nice chip let it roll on out little right to left over that hill come on to this be massive checked up so have that put to shoot even par that’s not bad that’s solid focus on this shoot even par we’ll be happy with that definitely not what I wanted to do out there but it’s all good some days you’ll play well some days you’ll play other ways I guess uh this journey continues still trying to break part from the front teas yeah there’s no excuse It’s not that tough of a course I should be able to do it from there but not a terrible round ball striking was all right wedges were all right putting putter felt real nice but yeah I hope youall enjoyed that video I’m going to keep doing this much love yall peace
