jayen welcome to satton United what your first impressions of the club I mean from what I’ve seen so far it’s been it’s been a great place you know looked at it had to lack a little tour and I like what I see I can just see I can see myself being here and it’s like it’s close to home and just a nice place to be looks it now you joined from uh well your your last Club was car uh there were in uh League one had got relegated but an efl Club nonetheless um so what made you choose sattin I mean I think first of all was the location I mean closer to home comfortable like I know the area I know the place so I think that was just a no-brainer for me being so far from home for the last two two years and as you say born in Cen from the area started your career at Fulham what did you learn from playing for a club of that sort of stature I think I learned a lot you know like technical wise I mean literally from 9 years old till when I left it was just play out from the back and just like work on your weaknesses improve your strengths you know just like what you do at any other club but I feel like they just tried to drill it in into every player and I think yeah I just got to take that with me wherever I go and you did make the bench for the a few first team games what was it like training under such a legendary midfielder in Scott Parker it was it very good you know because he’s just he was fresh out I think just of retirement and he would just come in the training sessions and he would even be the best player on the pitch so I just Tred to mimic what he did and just like taking what I taking what he taught me 30 appearances in the efl for car 46 appearances at National League level how will that sort of experience help you this season well I think that i’ let say I’m comfortable at this level I mean i’ i’ played it for what I played it about two seasons now so I think all I can do is just do what I’m good at and then I think that will just show on the pitch and you’re back in the National League um permanently after loone SP at eastley last season what are you expecting going into the new campaign I’m just expecting just to try and score goals help the team win win tackles just you know show my game week and week out uh most amount of games you played in a single season came when you were at OT uh 33 matches which came uh before you moved to carile would you say that was where you sort of put yourself on the map yeah I mean it’s fresh out the academy didn’t really know what to expect but literally took it game by game and I mean it got me where it got me so I feel like as long as I play week and week out I can just show what I’m about tell us a bit about you as a player what how do you describe your style of play I like to say I think I can do a bit of everything you know tackle pass score goals get assists but I think Main what I’ve be known for is just tackling the ball and tackling the player sorry and just counting with it quickly driving with it you know just bringing the play at the pitch and what will be the aim this season both for the team and for you personally I think just get the club back to where it belongs you know it’s been a couple years in League two I mean is i’ seen i’ seen them be up there before so I feel like that’s that’s the aim and personally I think just to play well try to get as many goals and assists as possible but ultim just play well for the team well thank you Jaden and welcome to the club cheers
