yeah I mean I think that’s what people don’t realize like it’s all just scripted like the players the matches it’s all just kind of made up it’s a bit like you know wrestling or the reality TV shows like none of it’s real welcome everyone as usual you know what we’re here to do main story lines for for the season where do you want to start the start of any season is exciting seeing our words come to life it’s a it’s a real Buzz we usually get our story lines at the start of the year and yeah we just try to make everything look natural you know let’s face it people are stupid so you know they’ll buy anything so you’re going to go straight into a SE yeah keep your ret with you because you’re going to be on Four Hands it’s just you and no for this one well I’ve been part of this show for 16 17 years um or ATP Seasons as we call them something that I’m really trying to evoke with this Noah character is not just the performance and the achievements but bit more of an Essence a bit more of personality you know I try to have people relate to him I want to bring truth to Noak you know what is he thinking what is he feeling what would motivate him if he was a real person Mr Fritz they’re ready for you on set thank you I think people would be surprised how different some of these actors are to their characters when I first joined the cast um I had two P two left fits I have to practice hard hard to move because um in life I have no coordination um has an accl was not very good well I have to say you know in all the Productions that I’ve been involved when um the level of detail in this show is just incredible okay let’s go for a take Dominic team grunts take one you know they they they honestly just think of everything right onto hard CAU sneaker squeaks please thank you Andre that’s great thank you on to some rublev bu material please the actors are the show so we provide them with everything they need from acting coaches movement directors improv character development classes stop smiling don’t look him in the eye this year we let them shoot their winner speeches on green screen so much for being here with me and supporting me throughout the whole the whole week we work everything around them we even have a full-time PA to take care of everything they need just a quick update on your dressing room request we’re looking pretty good not going to lie the rooms are touch smaller than you probably would have liked but it’s our facing so not all is bad it might not always seem like it but we know they appreciate it right all right yeah yeah I think so youth audience how do we reach them um I’m thinking Tik Tok um what else D Dance challenges there were so many different ways we could have gone with this but in the end we just decided to cast a few younger actors okay let’s lean in on that and I think that will get us where we need to be it’s going to be another great season we’ve got action we’ve got drama we’ve got an incredible cast Studio TF and yeah I mean we just try to make everything look real and um the viewers seem to love it not easy but you know it works

  1. This is some SERIOUS choreography acting in the ‘matches’ for 3-5 hours. The cast have gotta have extraordinary memories, perfect timing for grunt-miming, supernatural control of ball-strikes to ensure it goes in or out while staying in character the whole time. Wrestling who?!

Moreover, it’s always a live televised production which means no bloopers allowed (which has gotta be nigh impossible to stay in character against Kyrigos)!!

And don’t get me started on having a perfectly in sync and cohesive supporting cast in the umpires, the lines staff, the ball-kids and the post-match press room. It’s clear that there needs to be a new category of acting award that recognise these overlooked phenoms as the Olympians of acting that they are.

Tennis is clearly both sport and entertainment’s greatest kept secret after 50+ seasons. How brave they all are to finally come out and risk their fake careers/ names!

  2. Bert Critchely got absolutely robbed at the Emmy's for his performance in US Open 2020, one of the best acting performance in Television history
