hey Chris yes we are kind of walking with some of these fans of Tiger Woods just finishing at the first hole but I got a little picture on my phone you can probably see him way in the background really excited to see him play up close and personal behind me though you can see the fans on the Move following the crowds we also saw Max hom too at the first Hole uh swinging alongside Tiger Woods it was actually a really cool moment to see tiger uh with his son Charlie Woods who’s also a golfer him self kind of showing him a few tricks as he’s in his practice rounds right now we got to look at him yesterday as well where fans from all over the country came out the 15 time major Champion hasn’t won a major events since his Triumph at the 2019 Masters he played more of a limited schedule since suffering a career-threatening leg injury and a car crash in 2021 we also saw Raleigh native Webb Simpson yesterday get some of those practice rounds in Simpson who was ranked 220th in the world had a difficult pass to reach the open he had to qualify just last week at Duke University Golf Club to get here I spoke with some local fans who are thrilled to be a part of this experience yes so we are also expected to hear from Tiger Woods this morning in a press conference at 10: a.m. we’re also going to see some other big names of course like Scotti sheffler out here later today L leavine wrl News live in Pinehurst
