well hello everybody and especially you beginner golfers in this video I am going to give you my recommendations for the best golf clubs for beginners I have been using these golf clubs with my beginner students for a long time I’ve hit every single one of them and they all meet my criteria for what a set of beginner golf clubs should be so let’s start off what is my criteria price is one they have to be at affordable price everybody can’t run out and buy the topend golf clubs when they’re a beginner and there’s absolutely no reason that you should um as a beginner you can’t hit the ball solid you don’t have you haven’t generated in club head speed so there’s no way to know what kind of clubs you want so we need just kind of a generic golf club that is Affordable and everything that I’m going to talk to you today about today is Affordable another criteria is the quality they have to be they have to have playability you have to be able to hit them and trust me I have seen people come to me with for golf lessons with that beginner set of clubs that they have just gone to the box store and bought or they’ve got them online somewhere and they’re unhitable and I mean I tell them and I tell them hey look I’m sorry but this money that you spent on these clubs was a waste of time because if I can’t stand there and hit the ball solid with them they’re never going to be able to hit the ball solid with them so they have to have good quality good playability and come at a good price and again everything that I’m going to talk about here today fits the bill so let’s start off with what we call a box set and what is a box set it’s just what it is it’s a set of clubs that comes in a box and it’s everything that you need it’s going to have the irons the woods the putter hybrid or two and it’s going to have a bag and so you just can open up that box pull those clubs out and you’re ready to go and I’ve got three different box sets that I recommend for my students and the first one is the Palm Springs men’s Visa 2 golf clubs and there’s a ladies version of this as well um this video will be a little more geared to men than women I will do a separate video for the ladies but the Palm Springs Visa 2 set I think the set starts at $249.99 so $250 it’s got a driver it’s got a fairway wood it’s got hybrids it’s got irons it’s got the putter it’s got the bag it’s got everything the woods and the the hybrid are going to be graphite shaft the irons are going to be steel shaft nice nice quality golf clubs I really think that most beginners could take this set of golf clubs and play with them for a year or two before they would actually need to change so fits the bill quality price of playability really nice set of golf clubs okay another set that I’m going to talk about is a is kind of what I would call a little bit lesser set but it’s the confidence power set and where they come up with these names I don’t know but the confidence power set is just a driver then it looks like it’s a hybrid a few iron and a Putter and a bag all of them are going to be steel shafted clubs and the price is $199.99 um I have had several several students use these golf clubs they’re really really good for that Junior boy that’s kind of moved out of Junior clubs up into adult clubs but really hasn’t learned how to play yet you don’t want to spend much money great little set of golf clubs for that type of student but a very very nice little set of clubs that’s going to get you through the whole learning process and let you kind of develop your golf description click on the link and it’ll take you right where to buy them the next box set that I would like to talk about is the ram acubar okay Ram golf has made a comeback back and I love the fact that Ram go is making a comeback uh I was a ram go player for a long long time back in my early professional career uh back as an assistant Pro and and teaching pro I played Ram golf clubs for a long time and then the Ram brand just kind of went away and they were really a very cheap little box set but this this company has has purchased the name and is now putting out some really really nice golf clubs I’ll talk about more RAM golf here in a minute but right now I want to talk about this box set the ram acub bar again meets the criteria it’s $229 for the set for the box everything it’s got the putter the bag uh driver Fairway Wood hyers all of the clubs so again a very very nice little set of golf clubs for a beginner and I want to tell you one other really great feature of the ram acubar set is there a little bit customized you can kind of custom them a little bit where all of the other box sets just come with a what they refer to as a uniflex shaft um and then you have no you can’t choose any different qualities to the club The Ram acubar you can because you can get the set in an inch longer than standard and you can get to set in an inch shorter than standard so you’re a very tall person that 6′ three 6’4 type guy get you the inch longer you’re a shorter person hey I’m 5’2 5’4 regular clubs are too long get you the ones that are an inch short and then the other thing is is you can get them in a regular or a stiff shaft so you’re a stronger golfer you got a little speed get the stiff shaft you’re not a stronger golfer you’re a senior you’re a young junior junior whatever it is get the regular Flex so a really nice feature to the ram acub bar and again link is going to be below uh highly recommend that you check out this one if you’re looking for the box set of clubs now my last box set recommendation is the Callaway strata set and Callaway strata set comes in a bunch of different configurations I think it goes from like a nine Club set all the way up to maybe a up to a 16 club or 16 component set or maybe 18 component set and and a lot of their components are the head cover becomes a component but I want to talk about two the strata 12 and the strata 16 so the 12 is just going to have a a driver a fairway wood one hybrid irons the 16 is going to have a driver a fairway wood multiple hybrids and then your irons it may actually have two Fairway Woods that one I can’t quite remember the Callaway Strat set very nice quality coming from Callaway golf they’re not going to put out any garbage um again I’m a Callaway staff professional so I play Callaway equipment and so Callaway golf is excellent excellent quality and the stratus set is is the same now the stratus set’s going to get you up in price range a little bit that 12 Club set I think is$ 3.99 or the 12 component sets 3.99 and the stratus 16 is a 5.99 set so you’re jumping up in price getting maybe a little bit better quality okay but that just depends on you and your budget as to what you want to do those other less expensive box sets for a beginning golfer my opinion are just as good okay they’re going to get you through that beginning process so there’s my box set choices the Palm Springs the confidence the RAM and then the Callaway stratas now let me talk a little bit about some buying the different sections like you just buy irons by your Woods all of that stuff so to talk about these different being able to buy the different pieces of a set I’m going back to Ram golf okay Ram golf is giving lots and lots of options here so the first set of clubs I want to talk about is just the ram FX stainless golf set a very deep cavity back which is great for you beginners very game improvement help you to get the ball up in the air and you’re going to get a four iron through a pitching wedge steel shafts all great quality $199 excellent excellent deal now remember you start going this route you’re going to have to get all of the component so the things are going to add up you’re going to have to have a bag well you may already have a golf bag you don’t need the box set with a golf bag you just need some new irons these are great quality irons then you’ve got the ram golf laser irons a little bit still a cavity back still game improvement but not as deep a cavity back as that uh FX stainless FX set beautiful Quality Steel shaft same thing 4 through pitching wedge I mean sorry four through Sand Wedge I think and $199 as well so you’re $200 basically and you’re getting a really nice set of irons I believe that that Ram laser you you can go in there and you can actually order the five through sand wedge or the four through Sand Wedge so again Ram is giving you some some some customization here in your sets you can adjust the length of all of these you can adjust the the shaft Flex so you’re getting a little bit more customization with ram than you are other less expensive golf clubs and again the quality is there there the the the the hit ability the playability the hit ability all of it is there with these Rams just the price stays down okay and then the last set of ram irons that I want to talk about is the Ram fx77 this iron I actually own one of these irons I was very excited when Ram came out with it and I hit it fantastic Golf Club I mean I could play this golf club easy okay high quality steel shaft and they start at$ 3.99 for a set okay so that one’s jumping you up in price a little bit but and for the beginner that can’t hit the ball very well I would stay away from this one it’s got a little more player look to it but if you’re a good athlete and you want something that looks more like a traditional older Golf Club this Ram fx77 might be the way to go so if you’re going this route of just buying the set of irons you’re going to have to have the other pieces of the puzzle as well so within Ram which I am putting a link down below to Ram golf um you can buy a driver they’ve got a titanium driver for $99 they’ve got hybrid they’ve got Fairway Woods all at less than $100 per Club so you can piece together a set of golf clubs here that you could potentially play with for the next four or five years and if you’re that beginning golfer that hey all you’re planning to do is play in those you know three or four times a year you’re playing in that company outing that scramble tournament man this set of golf clubs could last you for a long long time so think about this Ram again got the link below to Ram Golf and go on their website and look around this might be a really really nice option for a lot of
