The PGA TOUR returns to Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village Golf Club this week for the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, the seventh Signature Event on the PGA TOUR schedule this season. The best players will be in Ohio this week with all of the FedExCup’s top-10 in the field. Viktor Hovland defends his title and looks to become the first player since Tiger Woods to repeat at the Memorial. Hovland, who is the reigning FedExCup champion, returns to action after his third-place finish at the PGA Championship – his best result of 2024. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler also tees it up again this week. Scheffler, who finished second at the Memorial last season, has continued his run of dominance through 2024 over the last few weeks. Scheffler has finished outside the top-10 just once this season and has gone 1-1-T2-1-1-T8-T2 in his last seven starts. Rory McIlroy also tees it up in Ohio this week after his tie for fourth at the RBC Canadian Open last week. McIlroy has five top-10s in 12 starts at Muirfield Village. Others to look out for include Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Ludvig Åberg.

Smiley Kaufman’s down there hey good afternoon Kurt Nick Dunlap the wedge from 163 looking for a little bounce back oh he got a good chance to do that take advantage of that good wedge in here a ton of movement in here H that was right in the back of the hole wasn’t it no problem SE sta from the Fairway that’s a wedge on the way trying to use that wind Frank bring it back with the spin right to left he does it beautifully Aon SE straa at the first for birdie yes guy who was part of the Victorious Ridder Cup team in Rome last year boy look out the he starts doing that jump to the par five fifth this is the third shot for sep straa skipping it back there beautifully nearly holds it out this is the second easiest hole on the golf course coming in a little flatter just like that Kurt that’s pretty much much what he had in mind and he’s he got the read right on a putt that a good number of players have missed to the right backing it up with this at the third this is beautiful right here from 143 wind out of the right back right hole location holding up that [Music] fade just gorgeous ah doy that is tasty that’s pretty special stuff there uhhuh tap in so he likes the feel from these bunkers this ball is going to run away from him though he’s going to have to provide a little spin to it and some elevation okay going to catch that slope there and get a little better very nice shot he is see played his way into this week by virtue of his performance last week used a lot of elevation there didn’t spin the ball very much but be for his fourth Birdie on this nine and there you go gets him into the top 10 that he was unable to drop but we go back out to the fifth playing with shuer is Adam H and Putt for eagle and it is a fast one and it is tracking body hello this could be some sort of Swing here oh yeah take a look at again fny did the same thing the second time he like to look of it the whole way down you can see was staying in his Crouch just needed a touch a break is Scotty that’s eight iron on the way fading just a little left of it trying to bounce back again up to the 14th and SE strua forward front hole location today got to go to the right right and does he will soon defend at the John Deere classic next month Molen he’s actually playing his third here see how he fares with that bow in the [Applause] front at 15 Roa moves into a tie for third with that birdie now weight on that front side wow that’s very well done very well done from Xander 168 he hit a number of good iron shots today Trevor and he’s pushed this one about a yard wasn’t that right there so good Sheffer for birdie at 12 you better believe it so off to the stumble at nine just a year ago won the Jack Nicholas award and here’s what you call a flusher this one look oh it’s right out of the middle no question that is the best shot there today [Applause] Zen H move throw it to the right there was one more Club Frank five iron oh nice play not quite as good as two shot of we saw him make two in the playing three a little bit open shoulders almost knocked the flag out of the ground are you kidding me stop stop go backwards there we go there we go it’s getting better oh
