when it comes to buying golf balls how much do you spend and where do you generally get them from today I’ve bought some of the best rated golf balls from Amazon we’re going to put them through the in shops no yeah I just about to say you never see them in Pro Shops and it’s a it’s a tailor made golf ball so it’s quite a good brand and if you look at it you can get these on Amazon for for £18 at why may be sick of us using his name for tag you in it see in a golf ball but you can be zeros are these a cheap budget ball are they a middle of the range ball are they a golf ball that you could use save a little bit of money what have we got Iona cover for responsive short game performance react court for big distance with soft feel and our softest RBZ ever oh 60 compression I don’t know what that means is compression still a thing I thought that went out with the ark that means I’m carrying them I think they’re all good in my bag now I think that’s what that means £18 fantastic value again they don’t feel bad in the old Palm sometimes your cheap golf balls do just feel cheap yeah I H they’re always going to feel pretty good so we have in lasto C sometimes you have an anima cover and the uree cover which is generally based on the most expensive balls that’s the softer cover where the golf ball will launch a bit lower and spin up whereas these covers are a little bit cheaper plastic and the generally launch a little bit higher so generally all you want in here is a little bit of low spin if you can get it to get those bombs way you go Chris I’ll give you the honor Christopher we having a bit of a match oh why not can’t be testing golf balls in a match scenario it is Friday oh it launched low I mean it’s not your best I’d say it felt terrible but the strike was that bad I don’t think it was the ball no I’m going to say that wasn’t down with one of your best shots but guys if people are buying this golf ball for this price especially on Amazon you’ll see that nearly 10,000 reviews and most of them are five star so people are clearly thinking it is good value it is a good pretty budget golf ball and my interesting fact here that I want to kind of get across is how much do these cheaper golf balls actually change or do the brands just change the branding on them to fall in line with iron ranges and things like that that’s something which I always have to wonder about I just found the Fairway then we’ve got the advantage I’ll tell you what Chris nice and social it’s I launched it low you launched it high but we’re next to each other ala next to the really blame the ball but I always think when we are testing golf balls like this that are a little bit cheaper are they as good as the Kirkland are they as good as the seed sd01 or are you just buying them because they have tailor made on them they have calor on them sometimes I think people do get a little bit misconstrued with that y cuz for me a three-piece urethene bow is always going to probably not you know what that check delightfully I didn’t anticipate the right hand bounds but there’s a ball for that price I’m really really happy with that and the key is to play a consistent ball we say this quite a lot on talking balls and if you play a consistent ball you know how a Ball’s going to react not every Green is the same even if you play a really expensive defensive high-end Golf Course sometimes the greens do differ a little bit but if you know how your ball’s going to react you can play for a run out you can play for check you can play for anything like that or just hit a green like Chris does and then you’re all right although I think it did land short maybe ran on a little bit but we’ll take it does feel soft off the old bread and butter that’s in go I’ll give you that that’s again £18 felt fantastic off the face that yeah and it’s amazing now some golf balls do feel really firm but these do feel pretty soft I mean the name is RBZ soft RBZ was like 10 years ago though oh yeah I’d say so rocket balls oh solid I think I don’t think it feels that soft and we often differ with this don’t we when you testing a golf ball sound is feel isn’t it you’ve got a miled face and I’ve got an insert so maybe that’s the difference oh you’ve got the good good haven’t you I have got the good pared in force par five now coming up and the par fives are the holes or I think probably the longer holes aren’t they where if you do get an expensive golf ball do you start to see the rewards with the distance and things like that we don’t want those big horrible right shots now will go back can review them cuz there’s nearly 10,000 reviews of this golf ball on Amazon and there’s 4.6 Stars average that means most of them are five stars and for it to be a fstar review you think have people gone out and just played a good round with them are people testing them like we test them are they testing them on a launch monitor and seeing how the performer gains potentially a tp5 or maybe a t soft or a soft response or something like that I don’t know it must just be the value for money are they lasting a little bit longer that’s not really down to the golf ball that’s obviously how you strike it but for 18 pounds if they’re scoring the same or maybe they’ve had a good couple of rounds then maybe it’s that right not my best stuff and the funny thing is when you get a golf ball like this with that on in a cover you still get stop but you get it in a different way you get it from Landing angle rather than spin so you just have to understand that and play accordingly this could be coming straight at us by this no good strike sir good strike right front flag which isn’t ideal for this line PR good Oh I hly thought that was just going to kick on a little bit shame oh look at that does a more expensive ball grab there or is it impossible out theow no I don’t think it’s going to get much I mean it landed soft there and just ran out which I think any ball would it’s an awful flag position oh well it did its job yeah that did that check or did it just release out I think it was more The Landing angle did the job so it can work for you if you get the right Landing angle how scuffed is the ball that’s the question yeah there a couple of that scuffed up straight away there mark You’ probably be replaced seen that ball would you well where oh play a little bit of a worst ball off the team on this final hold the par three and guys I’ve been in the studio with these testing them for numbers and they weren’t quite up there with a premium ball I used tailor made tp5x is in the studio and it was just lacking on ball speed and the spin rate was quite a bit higher but for the price I suppose it is what you would anticipate and I don’t think they’re a bad ball to be honest let’s see what we can do here we’ve got 160 yards I’ve got an 8on it’s quite warm today so I should be able to get the distance no problem two good ones please consistency is key stay there stay there just a tiny bit short don’t know if I’m biting off more than I can chew have you got eight Chris I have got an oo oo oo Libre to stand on this a little bit five star I’m almost wondering why it’s got so high of ratings because I’ve tested golf balls that have had better numbers they felt a little bit better they’ have had better branding on them and for me it’s not a bad golf ball for them money but there’s certainly other options I would look at yeah I think pricewise pretty good but there is obviously a lot of options now around that and you can get some yuree covers now at that price whether a ythe ball is going to help you you might need it and or an ey on a cover you might need a two-piece golf ball you might need something different but there’s a lot of options now on the market which we saying is the worst cuz I think the bunker has to be the worst one surely take the bunker and Chris is just saying played yesterday and hit eight into this green no problem there’s a there’s a breath of wind into but nothing nothing overly severe so quite worrying really that oh how much did that check you see that now what happened wow stop go bit more required got my best stuff today but one of them days we don’t mind when you test golf stuff sometimes you just don’t have it this I think might Sav us the game have the line if you hit it that’s from that Chip Shot we just played that that checked up and that’s what I mean about relying on a golf ball because I plann for that not to check up and it’s literally aggressively checked the
