uh Rob we talked earlier about CJ stad and his interview with Gilly the kid and others on uh million dollars worth of game and um he he said some strong stuff um he said that Matthew Stafford could have won would have won three or four championship Super Bowls had he been in Green Bay instead of Aaron Rodgers um and he said as well that he was asked Rob who whose career he would rather have between Eli Manning and Aaron Rogers a lot of Aaron Rogers themed stuff that was going on but here he is if you had to pick a career to have I’mma have Aaron Rogers career or I’mma have Eli Manning’s career who career you taking you want the Rings dog you don’t want that’s all that matter is the Rings El got to did r g did Gilly the kid agree with him I mean it sounded like it but he’s very anti- Aaron Rogers if you watch any of that podcast oh wow um Rob sounds like that’s the whole show I mean that’s well you know what else he said what else Rob G he said something else about Rogers um and we’re not gonna do the whole Rogers thing but CJ sh you mean well Gilly the kid was kind of leading him in some ways cuz he really doesn’t like Rogers that he’s overhyped overrated but CJ stra which you’re alluding to he was talking about um his relationship with Tom Brady and Tom Brady’s a big mentor of his and he said Tom Brady one thing he taught him is that you know take care of your teammates because ultimately it’s a team game and if and if they’re happy you’re things are going to go well for you he said the difference between Brady and Rogers I don’t know if Rogers has that relationship with his teammates yeah yeah so he he he was you know he better back it up that’s all I got to say when you talk like that and I like him but you got to back it up um but Rob where are you at on the whose career would you rather have Eli Mannings or Aaron roggers it’s not even close I take Aaron Rogers all the way um it’s different if you never won I always say that if you never won then you could look at it and say Man Dan Marino some people thought he was goat he never won he went to Super Bowl second year in his career never went back okay I get it you would want a chance at winning Chris to to put the icing on the cake the cherry on top whatever you want especially the the kind of career that uh de Marino had that’s a more interest that’s an interesting discussion Marino’s career or Eli cuz like you said Marino didn’t get one and that’s what I’m saying he didn’t get one I I just when the guys are all pro and all this and I I just can’t really look at that and say and you know no I think Eli deserves to be in a Hall of Fame I think because he beat the Patriots the old the 18 and old Patriots you know and all those other things um and I give him credit for the two big throws he had but the bodies are work just are mismatch they they just are a mismatch it Rob it’s not like you said it’s not even close I mean I’m sorry and shout out to Eli because he had two incredible playoff runs and some magical moments Chris two big ones am I right like two big no no ifs ANS or buts about it but come on there is no way I would rather have be Eli Man in terms of his career than Aaron Rodgers Aaron roders for only having one Super Bowl and that’s good but he got the only the one Super Bowl he’s still in the discussion firmly in the discussion Rob for top five quarterback of all yes he’s got four MVPs and let’s keep it real all of us yes we want to win but we also want to excel individually right Michael Jordan they there’s a couple stories about him right one was he wanted to win but he wanted to be the reason they won all right and and another one was when Tex winter one time when Jordan was coming it was a timeout and Jordan’s coming off the court I don’t know maybe he took a bunch of shots or something and text winner said Michael there’s no I in team and Jordan said but there’s an i in win like I mean and Rob look I was a I told you I was a role player when I played basketball in college and yeah as a role player I just want to win I wasn’t worried about how many points I got or what cuz I was the role player I was just playing good D want to help the team win all right but when you are a star like when you got star ability you don’t want to just go somewhere and average 12 points a game and win a championship you wanna you want to win a championship sure but you want to be able to fulfill your individual potential and so and I think everybody feels that way and so I I look Aaron Rodgers I talked earlier about you know the disappointments in NFC title games and all that but the fact is four MVPs that’s second most all time right to Payton man he’s five yep um one of the top five quarterbacks or so ever and does have a Super Bowl you can’t say he’s not a winner so I it ain’t even close yeah it’s not even close I I just that’s just a that’s just an agenda there that maybe that’s what they want or whatever and and it’s fine if you think Eli that you would take that career uh but even you look at pton Manning Chris the second one he got was that really Eli I mean uh pton Manning the second no I mean he gets made and he gets rck time credit for that Rob yeah don’t you think like you’re right3 yards I mean he he just didn’t play would despite there’s no question about that are you kind of saying now I think pton Manning I’m not I’m not say Rogers but are saying like I’m talk about there’s there’s a very small difference between them in terms of championships I will give you that yeah that’s all I’m just saying like like like there’s one like where you win and you’re great and people look at and go my God and there’s another one if you aren’t great you’re at least you’re in your Prime you’re a driving force for the team all year even if you had a bad game but and Manny was not a driving force for them all year dude he he struggled that year they got that year for what was that Brock what was that guy’s name uh yeah I know who you you know I’m talking about yeah yeah yeah yeah um so yeah I I feel but you’re right it people don’t seem to really think about that when they think of Payton they they just think of the two Super Bowls um but yeah he he really strugg Eli two Super Bowls are more impressive chrisen than and pton well the games the the games yes the games he played I I I agree both I mean obviously you’d rather well would you who whose career would you rather have between those no I would take payt Manny with five MVPs but I’m just saying if you’re just going just look at the Super Bowl I mean it’s almost robed almost it’s not Apples to Apples necessarily but it’s almost like saying would you rather be David Tyrie or Calvin Johnson and I know Johnson didn’t even win a Super Bowl but my point is all time great he’s an all-time great receiver and Tyrie you know obviously wasn’t MVP at that game but made this historic catch in the Super Bowl I just saw him last week at breakfast my wife and I did you really yeah he’s here in Jersey saying you know we we’re pretty good friends the bad part is he walks around with a football stuck to his helmet you know what I’m saying so people I canot but um sorry about that sorry Char that that don’t say that on Sports rap radio they gonna start calling it Sports whack radio so oh look at you already giving us a bad name why you do that us not y’all you you gonna put that on the put that out there shoot but um no I mean it’s not even close and I’ve heard people some Rob I think sometimes sometimes people almost are unable to have a nuanced discussion CU when we talk about whether it’s Jordan LeBron or whether it’s Brady versus whoever uh when you bring Rings into it which is a factor some people just hear that conversation and now to them Rob is just Rings it’s nothing else it’s just ring that no we’re never saying that we’re saying that is a a a legitimate part of the discussion and it’s a a a a meaningful part of the discussion an important one but it’s not the only part and so I I just think this is a situation where it seems like I mean CJ just even said it’s you want them Rings you want those Rings now I like that he’s got that attitude because I think he’s more talented than Eli and maybe you know maybe he will he’ll be a big winner and put up the individual numbers um that’d be great but I mean like I said Rob the interesting one is Marino or Eli that’s an interesting conversation no that that that’s one where you would have to because Dan Marino was a legendary uh pastor of the football Chris way before it became what we’re watching today he was putting up today’s numbers back when nobody else was coming close to that I also think think Terry Bradshaw or Aaron roders I think I go Bradshaw he’s got of course the four Super Bowls I think he won one MVP he was never he was not individually as good as Rogers but obvious nobody you know what Terry bradow doesn’t get the love for four MV for Super Bowls he just does really I think he does I never hear think he doesn’t you know he’s not mentioned as like a top five quarterback cuz he wasn’t right that’s what but he is viewed as like this he is like a legend Beyond what his individual you know just regard like take away the winning his individual performance didn’t warrant the love he gets and obviously he’s gotten a lot of love as a broadcaster because he’s done a great job with that but I do think he’s viewed as like a legend because of the four and he was great in those Super Bowls a lot like he made some great throws to Lyn Swan and John starworth and all that um but yeah that that is an interesting one as well all right

I really F'in hate the rings debate. As it's the be all end all to way too many people. So Trent Dilfers career was better than Dan Marinos? I bet 100% of yall reading that think that's a rediculous statement, and while Eli had a better career than Trents it's pretty close in comparison as far as how rediculous it is, but for some reason people will talk themselves into believing this nonsense. And im no hater of Elis he had 2 of the most incredible runs in sports history it's an incredible thing, but we have to stop when we look at players careers with this stuff and comparing
Ppl that don't play football telling an athlete what career he should rather have had smh.
Marino and Eli isnt close. I would much rather have Eli's career. Yeah he has two Super Bowls, but the stats, legacy, and accolades lean too much in Marinos favor. A more interesting conversation would be Marinos career or Big Bens career.
53 men on a team not 1. CJ sees the whole picture and he is a team first guy. Aaron Rodgers has never been a team guy.
Big BEN HAD a better individual career than ELI !
Both got 2 RINGS.
Who’s the underachiever tho
I rather Eli career please they need to stop pushing these natratives about winning then change up for particular players in each sport to push narratives to push other players more then they r etc.individual accomplishments means ish to team success, which is exactly y and how Rodgers and Farve careers look exactly the same meaning loaded in individual achievements.regardless of what they saying etc they slicc trying talk down on Dan Marino because of his career ill accept Marino career etc because he aint have ish on his team really.Rodgers and Farve had loads of great players on their teams they just was selfish stat padding instead of playing winning football.
Peyton vs Rodgers Career would be a better debate. Both are great individually.
I would take Eli's career over Aaron's. Cause what's being a top 5 qb when you're not #1? Who's #1? The guy Eli beat twice in the super bowl? Who can say they beat the goat twice in the super bowl? Biggest stage right?
Rob is a clown!
Texans fan here and I’d totally take two superbowl over one. Good job CJ and they said you aren’t a test taker
Eli overachieved and Aaron underachieved.
Aaron Rodgers is definitely not in the top 5 of all time discussion. Off the top of my head you have Peyton, Montana, Brady, Mahomes, Brees, Elway, Unitas, & Favre in the mix.
Eli being in New York is similar to Joe Namaith because of the magnitude. Eli regular season always been hit and miss at best. Post season eli is more Robert Horry than Kareem Abdul jabber
It’s not even that hard. Who has more Superbowls? Rodgers sycophants are bizarre.
Gimme Eli his superbowls are over Brady and that’s his claim to fame
I gotta be honest. The NFL had alot of prime and great players. He most def earned that one. I take Eli because of how young he was. It really makes a difference how you carry your franchise and Win. Rodgers could have more rings
If he was more demanding in his leadership role.
I bet ppl can't name any team around Eli that was a great team he never had one superstar receiver and won 2 vs Brady
Rodgers and its not even close.
Rob is zesty for Rodgers
Stroud is either very young or too prejudiced regarding Aaron Rogers who by all statistical accounts was a Quarterback who played at a higher level than Eli M. 4X League MVP, Super Bowl winner, higher QB rating, TD to Interception rating…winning record on and on. Aaron is waaay above Eli and to argue otherwise is ludicrous
Rodgers ended my Cowboys many times. 4 MVPs, not a fluke. And he too young to know Brady started off as a game manager. And had Belichick
ROB is sitting up there texting he is so disengage. Get rid of him. Loser
You play the game for the championship! So these idiots are taking stats over chips
CJ Stroud should have been drug tested after because he's taking allot of 💩 for a player going to his 2nd year
Lets also not forget the Giants were well on there way to another Superbowl until Plaxico Burres shot himself in a nightclub lol
Something is wrong with you if you want eli career over aaron rodgers yall gotta refresh yall memory on a rod this is disrespectful
That’s just stupid and it makes me realize that CJ ain’t gonna be that good in the league
Eli Manning isn’t even that good of a quarterback.
He wouldn’t be in the Hall of Fame if he didn’t beat New England twice. And he didn’t beat him. He had a good defense beat Tom Brady.
Aaron Rodgers is 1000 times the quarterback the Eli Manning on his best day was.
