running mate he also said Kyrie is the most gifted player the NBA has ever seen so in your opinion is Kyrie the most gifted player and what did you make of LeBron’s comments ahead of the matchup tonight is Kyrie the most gifted player we’ve ever seen um there’s been so many gifted players are we saying he’s more gifted than um Jordan is he more gifted than Isaiah Thomas is I think Kyrie has a plethora of um when it come to layup package pause um and dribbling not not great defense not um consistent threes but he’s he’s phenomenal when it comes to ball handling Paws and getting different layups and making different moves so when people say skills there’s a lot of there’s a lot of of the skills that that you can consider in this conversation that’s what I would say but he’s highly skilled in that area of ball handling and pause and and getting different shots off but then there’s defense there’s getting steals um there’s blocking shots there’s rebounding there’s assists he’s just he’s really just highly skilled in these two areas but it seemed like that’s all the NBA is about these days so I I can see why people say that and when it comes to LeBron I think LeBron is just saying that I I mean it could be some truth to it but I don’t even think um Kyrie I don’t know if we’re into that yet about who was his best teammate and all of that is this that we’ll go into that follow up but first just that initial statement that he said that’s of course let everyone run around going crazy yeah I think it’s just the right thing to say that Kyrie is balling right now cuz at one time they didn’t want to play together and that one time I think they was trying to play with Pauls with each other but then it got to the place where I guess Kyrie felt like he wanted to go to Dallas and it and it turned out well and it turned out well for both of them cuz LeBron got a championship and now it look like um Kyrie will get one as well I’m buing my son just walked past this [ __ ] um yeah look look man um I was I was doing some research and le Lebron I’m not saying he’s not doesn’t feel the way he feels but I was just looking to make sure Kyrie’s contract isn’t coming up isn’t over soon because this LeBron makes poy like this to try and reel you in like because you gotta think uh and I’m I don’t want to put words in his mouth LeBron that is but is it an insult to certain players he played with yeah yeah D’Angelo Russell you could never you can never [ __ ] ad you all right but you ain’t this [ __ ] maybe D way he won’t ain’t really is so but uh his exact words I did he say did because I I watched the clip of it I didn’t watch the whole interview did he say that that’s his best teammate ever or he just said what was the exact quote he didn’t say that was his his best teammate ever but he said that he’s mad that he’s not his running mate anymore and he said he’s the most gifted player the NBA has ever seen I’m a huge Kyrie fan but I’m most gifted for the last 10 15 years people are prisoners at the moment whatever happened tonight is the best thing ever you know Jeremy Lynn you know yeah so at the end of the day it’s like bro come on we got to stop this prisoner of the moment [ __ ] now Kyrie for his height and his his size por he may be the best finisher around the basket for somebody the 61 or 6 without duning yeah without dunking you know what I’m saying people got to be specific that’s what I’m saying like yeah he may be the best person I seen finish around the basket off the left foot with the left hand right hand off the right foot reverse spin floater from the free throw line all that all of that is crazy but the most gifted ever no what I will say is this those are those are great points M those are the two areas I will give him probably the best dribble we’ve ever seen in the NBA yeah I will say that there been a lot of great ball handlers but Kyrie’s probably the most gifted dribbl we’ve seen and the best finisher uh around the basket without dunking that’s under yeah without without dunking because I was thinking about that I Vince Carter is he a better finisher think around the basket then Vince Carter then we and and then see because youan yeah and not only that see because and it just seems [ __ ] up and I I get it B Bowl I get it to us [ __ ] saying it and when I what I’m about to say it because it just gets annoying hearing it from people like us because we just old enough to see it the re I just hate to keep doing springing out Michael Jordan it just I get annoyed with doing it yeah because people won a championship a few years ago he’s used to playing about now even if it’s not the champion ship he’s used to playing he’s been out for a long time he’s been out for about a month and some change this is annoying you got to think about this you got to figure out something to do yeah so when he’s watching this and the [ __ ] he was playing with and the [ __ ] you be around you be like not just the [ __ ] you be around we just talking about that [ __ ] the other day murder when your kids be like so what happened now n cuz K CU so you so y’all sat something to each other and stopped speaking and then he wanted to trade so that’s why y’ y’all not playing together you let that happen I thought you said be the bigger person but I I don’t know yeah so you know when you got to start explaining [ __ ] to your kids and your kids is Mo I’m not saying the LeBron James kids are I’m just saying certain [ __ ] when you get older you’re in certain space and they’re marveling over somebody that used to your teammate or your friend or your running buddy or whatever it’s annoying think about this they’re about to get ready for the Olympics Kyrie Irving is not on the team he not on the team it’s crazy well they ain’t put Isaiah on the team yeah yeah this is true and then just for more context for LeBron’s reasonings he said he has the best gifts I’ve ever seen of any NBA player I’ve never never seen a guy in my NBA life that feels better at times shooting with his off hand than he does with his primary hand if Kyrie’s off in a game with his right hand he will literally go exclusive exclusively to his left hand I’ve never seen nothing like that so that was just the reasoning behind what he said but also I’m sure adds to them being in the finals and stuff right now and him reminiscing yeah come on and that and that goes that is one of those statements that you got to pay attention to like killer said the words because he’s never seen it we don’t know what he’s watched outside of playing basketball so we can’t take that with with any like strong strong emphasis because we don’t know what he’s watched outside of the NBA we know he saw some games but LeBron you’re left-handed you play with your right hand what are we what are you bro the man is primarily left-handed he writes and everything with his left hand but he plays with his right so you’ve never seen nobody do something that you’re doing every day for your whole career okay you calling C on LeBron yo bro I’m telling now he’s a right-handed basketball player I get it but he’s primarily left-handed will I will say 100% emphatically that um Kyrie is not the best player that LeBron has ever played with and my reason for saying saying that is that when you think of everything that LeBron was able to do with Kyrie even the time when K him and Kyrie separated um yes Kyrie was phenomenal but I think like killer said it’s a we’re becoming prisoners of the moment and not realizing that D Wade was going crazy in Miami and that LeBron went and played with him and at one time D Wade is a mentor to LeBron he taught LeBron certain things I would going on on as far as saying he showed him how to win on the biggest level even made the adjustment of putting himself second so LeBron could be first because he knew that’s what it was going to take for them to win so you’re talking about um four four finals and winning two 50% at the finals with with dwade and and D way ners speak for their self I mean you’re a fellow Floridian you know that and this is what it means when somebody is a prisoner of the moment they start thinking because of Kyrie doing this now that he was better with LeBron that that’s emphatically no yeah um well when we talk about D way he’s actually from the Midwest Chicago he went to get money in Florida but he’s not from Florida he’s from Chicago from the Midwest don’t forget to sh sh to Chicago southside side K Town salute n y’all know what time it is me that’s third with that but only thing I would say is that if Kevin Durant didn’t go to Golden State we don’t know how many championships that Cleveland would have won with Kyrie and Kevin Love because it was actually one to one yeah when Kevin Durant went to Golden State Golden State won one uh Cleveland came back down 3-1 in the championship and they won the championship and I was like this could be great for the next couple years because we don’t know who’s going to win and then when Kevin Durant went to Golden State it was just like y’all know y’all know this [ __ ] is about to be a dub so uh definitely can’t argue with dwade and the points you made absolutely with dwade taking the back seat to LeBron uh because like you said he knew what that would take for them to win Chris Boss being there they uh Ray Allen great team great team but I really would have liked to seeing if Kevin Durant didn’t go to Golden State those three or four years because they played four years in a row yeah in the championship as well and now that would have been incredible just to see Kyrie Kevin Love and LeBron against the Splash Brothers Draymond and whoever Andre inala and whoever other pieces they had around I was like this could be really good for the next half a decade or so but Kevin Durant came and basically tipped the scale and it was a fullo conclusion who was going to win the title before the season started I can’t argue with anything you said but if that didn’t happen that would have been a great four or five years of basketball to watch because you want to know yeah and for all of everybody that’s arguing that point don’t forget that Wade carried LeBron in those finals excuse me forget that okay and then as we know the NBA Kyrie not cut you off Kyrie Kyrie hit them shots too yeah you know what I’m saying Ray Allen too Ray Allen saved the championship one year oh yeah everybody walked out of the Arena yeah yeah exactly so you have some good teammates throughout the years absolutely okay and then like I was saying as we know the NBA is closing on its new media rights deal $76 billion over 11 years is is the price tag with ESPN NBC and Amazon it will also include rights to WNBA telecast so we know that this will end TNT coverage that’s already causing a lot of commotion on social media but as the deal is closing in and we are getting closer what do you guys think of it knowing now the numbers and then TNT leaving and wmba also being telecasted um there’s a lot of things we could we could share when it comes to this when you think of this $76 billion I got some good um Insight on on this particular topic when you look at NBC right just to start with NBC they’re they’re putting in 2.5 billion of the money but they wanton 100 games per season right so then you got Amazon getting $1.8 billion for the regular season and the playoffs but they want the play in as well so now they’re they’re just really they’re really like shifting it out to different the different companies to come up with this number but the one that I thought was most intriguing was Disney Disney put up 2.6 billion a year just to do the finals pretty much and that and the number of games they’re going to have is going to change it won’t be like before when ESPN had pretty much a lot way more games their games are going to come down and in exchange they’re going to be able to get the WNBA that you was talking about so there’s a lot of new money but it’s a lot of things that are going to change and it’s going to be even new for people that watch cable and Direct TV and all of those different things because they used to I Know Myself used to getting that information from TNT or watching this big game on TNT now to see that on Amazon is going to be different but Amazon is the one with the most money at this point so I think it’s a great thing all the players are going to get more even the league minimum is going up and this plays into kayn Clark I know people don’t want to have that conversation and I’m not out here rooting for K kayln Clark I’m just telling the truth this has a lot to do with who who people are going to see and and and when I say who people are going to see she brought those viewers there as well as the other um rookies but she she spearheaded it just to add because you said you’re not out here rooting for Caitlyn Clark I feel like you are which is fine no I’m not rooting for I’m just stating facts okay sometime when you state facts that people don’t want to acknowledge it seem like you’re rooting for this person when realistically this the person that brought it to the table if if someone else was able to do it it would have happened before her sometime you’re just a Pioneer for it it doesn’t make you the greatest person but you were the one that did it you know yeah it’s like recognizing her contribution yeah that’s her contribution her brand brought this to the table doesn’t mean she’s better than anybody doesn’t mean she will be better than anybody doesn’t mean she’s always right and all of the things that people try to add on to just that statement she brought that to the table they wanted to see those games because of her okay and cam your thoughts sound like you wanted to have static what was you going to say you’re going to say it doesn’t sound like you’re rooting for it but what what was you going to say me no because the way I interpreted that I was like I I thought you were rooting for Kaitlin which is fine like no I think I think one day we really do need to have killer one day we need to have a show where we really just go through what’s going on in the WNBA because as much as we say the things that we say people are still people are still unclear that’s what it seemed like to me and it seemed he’s mad about how people are basically saying that she’s getting bullied and so on and so forth I said well she’s not crying about it you can’t get mad at whatever people’s writing because you’ll be fighting a fight uh fighting robots yeah everybody with a smartphone got an opinion you know what I’m saying so if you got a smartphone you got an opinion you can’t fight everybody and what I was telling him was with these other females it’s like this I said if you want my honest opinion is it’s to me growing up and playing basketball if I’m if I’m these other females in the Stefon Marberry and Felipe Lopez era all they got to do is average seep Marberry and I’m he’s he’s super good player nice and he got better each year but he’s been that dude in the quote unquote uh basket basketball that the papers are following them around that the cameraman are following them around at the basketball quote unquote basketball experts are saying these are the best two in New York City it’s not they fault and if the Envy comes from players like myself or M or whoever else was around that time oh well yeah we going to be mad because we feel that we’re better than them or just as good as them and we’re not getting a recognition but it’s not their fault that they’re getting that attention so that’s what I would say that’s what I have to tell Dave about that as well and Dave listen to this I would think of that that would do exceptionally well at the late Lakers um Sam Cassel yeah he’s been doing a lot of great work behind the scenes and there sometime while people don’t don’t give me because I think unconventionally but that’s a great name though Sam Cassel and sometime to me um that’s a spectacular name he’s been um assistant coaching for a long time what I think is sometimes it’s two things what I’m about to say sometime people don’t want to have coaching job some people are comfortable freed yeah I want to be where I’m at I’m Player Development I’m I don’t have to go to the press conference I deal with the players I don’t have to deal with all the [ __ ] I like where I’m at secondly not only that they don’t want to be a head coach but if they do want to be a head coach I don’t want to be the my first job to be with the Lakers yeah that’s a lot of pressure that’s a whole lot of pressure just being a part of that organization thirdly I don’t want to coach LeBron James it’s the first time from my head so this is a lot of variables and a lot of different layers just with this one job um does it come with a lot of money probably more money than they’re making now absolutely but I remember tou when he’s coaching Cleveland had to call out sick for like about three weeks because he was high blood pressure or whatever and he said this is the hardest job in the world coaching LeBron James to where you you caught out sick for two weeks from why is that that’s what he’s we would have to Google that if you want to Google and then find out but he called out sick and he said the hardest job in the world is coaching LeBron James because you got to imagine and I’m just guessing I’m pretty sure sta pull up exactly why what he said Etc but the pressure to win at that time yeah and to make sure that you exceed expectations when you have LeBron James in his prime uh you have to win I say this all the time especially fo coaches basketball coaches too their job is very hard because when I say that you have to get there before the players you leave after the players you go home and you watch tape after you watch tape you have to scheme and put plays together and do scouting reports from Team to team to Team Series to Series championship to championship and it’s not just a 48 minute thing when you’re playing it’s a almost a 20 hour day job when you’re a head coach if you’re put if you’re doing the right thing and if it’s not going smooth it it becomes a headache yeah yeah and then just for the answer there is no Define answer it’s just LeBron gave his thoughts saying it was well overdue he’s got to focus on his health anyways and give much further yeah further information on to why so yeah I think but I do think that if given opportunity JJ reck will do a great job cuz cuz he he checked one of the boxes of being a great coach and and as um most great coaches are people who didn’t have an outstanding NBA career dang is it true that was just think about um Tylo great coach um what is was Phil Collins Phil Jackson right Pat Riley Pat Riley all [ __ ] who played in the NBA but they wasn’t the superstars what about Jason kid he he he’s an anomaly he’s an anomaly but most of the times it’s the guys who was they was they was they was good they but they had to work very hard because that translate into coaching when you you we saw magic coach we saw Jordan try to run a team we saw Isaiah do the New York NS true right true um pat pat Yan at Georgetown and [ __ ] who are superstars did yeah CU you see what I’m saying sometime I say things that you just I just always ask for clarification cuz people hear it things differently but yeah cuz if I just left it at that people be like yo he tried to kill JJ reic just now pause no comparison absolutely so we need to figure out if the NFL is America’s biggest sport that grosses the most why are they getting paid the least because and risking injury probably the highest when it comes to baseball basketball or football uh we know it’s no salary cap in baseball we know that the salary cap is expanding every year when it comes to basketball what the [ __ ] is going on in football to where these players players are being ex are being are not being celebrated are ecstatic and excit that they getting these big contracts which is big for the NFL but then when you sit there and think about this you got Justin Jefferson getting 140 million and Jaylen Brown got more than double that for the same time period yeah maybe almost triple if I’m no not triple but it’s more than double what are we doing here NFL what what do we doing but their argument would be is more people on the team there only 12 people and another um but to your point good very good point yeah but to your point you know when you look at the route that he’s on he’s on the route to be a Hall of Famer if he consistently stay with this he’s already got more yards than than um than the Hall of Fame
