offense on the field there’s Joey ehos with the kick and it’s a good one back back Jones into the end zone and out of the end zone Joey ehos with just his eighth Touchback of the season and he’s got the Razer back starting from their own 20 yd line Casey dick the sophomore quarterback will lead the Arkansas Razer backs onto the field it’s a sophomore from Allen Texas just 745 yds eight touchdowns three interceptions he doesn’t run much either he’s there to get the ball to mcfaden get the ball to Felix Jones and occasionally throw it in motion they were on the right side nothing there Brandon Syer and Earl Everett are there to drop Darren mcfaden after a gain of a yard let’s check out the offense for the Arkansas Razer backs the Razer backs with a record of 10 and two on the year Hugo Parker Luise Felton and tubs that’s a good big strong offensive line the guy to watch in the passing game in the middle Marcus monk one of the best receivers in the Southeastern Conference he is something mcfaden was in the position to take the snap now they shift back to Casey dick on second and nine some jumping around but no Flags short hitch route is caught by Damien Williams Williams is run out of Bounds at the 27 there is a flag on the play the first they said it was a late flag at first he didn’t throw it it looked like a gator might have jumped and there was no flag that came out and then after the play was running they did so we’ll check and see what that’s all about before we set the Gators off sides on the defense defense got in the neutral zone before the snap 5yd penalty in the middle it was Steven Harris the senior getting in there and making the play Steven Harris being alert uh Darren mcfat took the ball from the center direct snap and watch Steven Harris everybody sees a little fake hand off they trying to get him up the mill and they’re right on top of it as Darren mcfat lined up at the quarterback position that time they call that their Wildcat position not so wild this time the faden’s out of the game Arkansas confused offensively on this third down play now dick in motion and Felix Jones is the man to take the snap Jones who has almost a th000 yds himself won’t get much there the gator defense holds and Arkansas will have to punt it away ear leading the charge of the Florida defense along with Ray McDonald lot of movement by the Arkansas Razer backs trying to confuse this Gator defense but the Gators were not full this time just as Felix Jones takes the football watch the defense converge they just beat everybody at the line of scrimmage gets rid of the blockers and Mak the tackle for short or no gain Jacob Skinner averages 38.4 very good at putting them down inside the 20 only 12 of his punts have been returned this season there’s a good high one Brandon James the Florida freshman On The Run catches it he’s dropped about three or four yards later excellent coverage for Arkansas that’s Michael Grant free safety down there excellent field position for the Gators and their senior quarterback Chris leak 21 touchdown passes this season for leak 84 in his gator career on a little shovel pass and Arkansas is there looking through go incomplete kind of looks like somebody ran a wrong route there as the two Gator receivers Cornelius and Cornelius Jal Cornelius and Cornelius Ingram very close together well it looked like that time as Cornelius Ingram ran his route and and you’ve got Chris Lee coming out on the roll out he just started to drift and actually drifted in the area of Jamal conelius Jamal Anderson the defensive end the big man leads the SEC with 11 sacks takas and Olas rutu two very good linebackers and Chris Houston the corner the best in the secondary number two for Arkansas as the gator face a third and seven from their own 46 Arkansas blitzes off it they got leak down he goes it was a team meeting in the gator backfield in the strong safety Randy Kelly was calling orders number six he’s quite a player very disruptive well they show that they’re coming all the way but the Gators just don’t have enough people to block it little miscon confusion there as the tackle tried to get back and of course uh Phil twine was not able to come back inside to pick up the blitz little bit better communication needed by the offensive line Eric wilver kicks for the Gator a low wobbler hits at the 33 and rochet is out of Bounds at the 31 so not the best effort at all from Eric Wilbur only about 26 yards they to give him 30 that might be a tad generous the gator with the fourth possession their second on offense and they’ve got good field position with the 37 yd line they run straight up there’s room for Keon Moore Moore into Arkansas territory will be dropped at the 35 yd line 29 yds great blocking at the point of attack on that right side you’ve got number 70 Ronnie Wilson as well as Carlton met let’s take another look nice job of blocking nice job of just get bouncing it outside avoid one one tackle in he just faked from safety Randy Kelly out of his jock lar yeah Matt you had trailing the play a linebacker made the tackle if he hadn’t trailed that play it was over so the Gators with a scoring opportunity at the Arkansas 35 Quick Pitch harv to the quarter and he runs out of bounds couldn’t find a way to turn it up field but he got himself about nine or 10 yards they spot him inside the 25 it’ll be a gator first down Randy Kelly on the play defensively for the Hawks good Pursuit kept this play from Going the Distance we know that Florida has speed so does Arkansas on defense because they were able to get out there and force Percy out of bounds before he can square it up and go north and south and as is his average he got 10 yards little more officially 11 to the 24 yd line and the gator check in Billy latco and Keon Moore into the back field on first down Le with ti go deep into double coverage over throw Cornelius Ingram trying to get free but materal Jack Richardson covered him well and the safety Randy Kelly was also deep so nowhere to go with it and I think leak intentionally threw it too far yeah I think he’s just trying to get rid of the football the pressure was starting to break down the pocket and he had to get rid of it so you know he just threw it as far as he could so Casey and Harvin return Ingram and Moore leave looks like the gator will keep lat go in perhaps for Extra Protection on this second down and 10 at the 24 what an option and there was no option leak was buried by Ernest Mitchell before he got outside The Tackle Box and that’ll be a loss of three back to the 27th Ernest Mitchells does a good job he’s playing the nose tackle position and right there he just basically runs through Steve rler and is able to get into the back field rler is not able to get his block and it’s very difficult for a center to snap the ball and then pull and get that type of block very tough assignment for C rler there Mitchell out of Nan Georgia this a sophomore Nan is a town south and west of Atlanta It’s a needle place but they grew one one big in anyway on third down the Gators need a bunch leak runs out of trouble he’s got room leak to the 20 Chris leak stops and is dropped short of the first down at the 17 yd line and the gator will have it fourth and three as leak picked up 10 on the scramble Sam Ola zutu makes the tackle well whenever the pocket starts to break down you got to get out of there and Chris sees the tackle in game he avoids the free Blitzer and then right here he’s looking for a block never gets it from Bubba cwell so he gets as much as he could get down without taking the big shot well Urban Meyer and the gator sideline just got their first sideline warning of the evening and it looked like they are going to go for it with the trouble the Gators have had trying to kick today they were going to now they’ve switched to take out the offense and in goes the kicking team so Chris hetler will try a 34 yder 0 for N Beyond 30 3 for 12 on the year but he was 13 three 13 for 16 last year and and Larry I I think some of the time cuz he keep pulling them left you know it’s sort of like golf if you start to look up because you’re so anxious you know you your confidence is not down you know you got to stay down through the football don’t try and look up see where it’s going in so too has Tony Joiner new guy in the game Dorian Monroe richeter freshman out of Miami Tony Jer hurt his right foot he’s done for the game Monroe number 34 from Coral Reef High School what a challenge for him to step in for a proven veteran there’s the gator stopping another run inside by Felix Jones there’s Dorian Monroe just eight tackles on the season and most of those in special teams he’s a talented kid Nat I’ve liked what I’ve seen on the practice field uh from Dorian especially this spring and uh he’s ticketed for bigger Duty next year but he really has pressure on him now yeah he got a lot of pressure on him because of the way Tony Jon has played Tony Jon has been one of the leaders back there of this defense so you know let’s look for the young man see if he can step up make some big plays similar to Tony Arkansas puts a tight end in motion there’s mcfaden mcfaden gets a seam and you can see what he does with a seam he just races through it picks up about a dozen yards in a first down and that’s why it’s so important for the linebackers to stay at home they’ve got to see the release of the football and then you cannot overrun see right here what happens is Brandon silah runs through well if you make that decision you got to make the play because you’ve broke broken down the continuity of the defense if he continues to flow and let him come to him he makes the tackle for a very short gain first time the racer backs have moved the chains this evening f back cut back in and he’s got another 11 yds and another Arkansas first down you know their first two drives that they were running reverses and all kinds of other things but this last couple of plays they’re going back to the bases well they’ve got 315 lb average along that line they just bring everybody down and they just try and push him by there and that time Earl Everett you know that he came back to him instead of staying where he’s at and letting him come to him you know two Mis cues by the linebackers over reacting to mcfat let him come to you stay stay in your lane F running right is hit and dropped by Dorian Monroe the first chance he gets to make a play and he drops an All-American for a threey yard loss Larry we just talking about all the trick plays they’ve been running then they went to their bread and brought to mcfat now they come with another trick play they fake it to to MC faton going back the other way but you know what Maran Monroe wasn’t fool not at all stayed at home officially they call that the gator 49 yd line officially I think they’re nuts but they didn’t ask me second down and long for Arkansas Jones Felix cannot escape the wrath of Steven Harris in the back field and another negative play for Arkansas that’s what you’ve got to do against this AR can saw a football team is get into the back field with your defensive lineman and then what that does it allows those linebackers to flow this time Steven Harris just beats him right now just and he’s in the back field there’s just nowhere for Jones to run makes a good open field tackle grabs him around the leg and just holds on for dear life they need 15 yards on this third down play dick is throwing just one pass throws Over The Middle’s got his tight end just cleared the defense in time and gets the first down Ben Cleveland rumbling down the middle of the Gator defense for 18 yards and a big first down for Arkansas and for those that don’t realize football is a game of Interest watch Brandon Siler right here he’s right there look like he’s going to make this play he’s going to intercept the football you know he just doesn’t play the football well Cleveland catches it gets the first down for the Razer packs and now they’re in scoring range inside the gator thir 5 yd line on the keeper MC Fen might have gotten a yard or so he was hit by Brandon Syler this Gator defense heard all week long about Arkansas’s unbelievable running game and all the yards Arkansas 236 yards a game on the ground but n the gator lead the SEC at 69.7 on the ground and they were a little I think a little offended that people were discounting their run defense well they got confused there they had the 10 guys in the huddle and then the 11th guy came running in it’s not the guy they needed for the play that had been signal to the quarterback and so Arkansas has to burn a timeout with 152 to play the Gators are 5 and2 in SEC Championship games have played Alabama five times as well as Arkansas now for the second time and Auburn wants coming back Damen Williams turns that into a big play for the Razer backs short catch nice run first down inside the gator 20 well Arkansas don’t throw the ball much but when they do they throw it very effectively here this afternoon last week they struggled but this time Casey dick goes back good block by the tailb Felix Jones and he just gets the ball out into the hands of the Freshman Damen Williams and he does the rest Williams a kid from Springdale Arkansas who committed to the Florida Gator during the recruiting process then switched when his high school coach thus malan became the offensive coordinator for Arkansas inside run not much there moss and Everett make the tackle there is a flag on the play on the far sideline that’ll either be an illegal formation or a gator offside man through the flag is waving people back but we’ll see yep formation you know Larry it’s it’s interesting thing about defense you know when you play the defense the way that Charlie Strong and Greg Madison draws it up seem like every time they cut back there’s a Defender there all you’ve got to do is trust your teammates and uh you’ll make the play the legal formation six men on the line of scrimmage on the offense 5yd penalty repeat first down so it’ll be a first and 15 from the 24 yd line Arkansas is no automatic on field goals either they’re just 6 out of 11 this season so they’re not thinking field goal they’re thinking touchdown but Greg Madison and the gator defensive staff have other ideas couple of fakes dick has it throws deep for the corner batted incomplete great recovery at secondary for the Florida Gators By Reggie Lewis that time Reggie Lewis is going up against a corner route and you know he sees the release of the football and Larry what I really D like what he does well you know it looked like he’s beat now watch this ball as he’s as is in there now see how he locates the football realizes where the defense the uh receiver Monk Is and he just goes up and knocks it away doesn’t make a mistake of letting him out jumping he just jumps up and knocks that football away so now it’s second and long they run the draw play mcfat had a little hole up the middle thought he could find more to the left and he found more Gator Defenders instead and Jarvis Moss who’s been very active in this opening quarter makes the tackle yeah defensive ends are really doing a nice job you know they’re so used to going to get the quarterback but today they are stalemating their their blockers at the line of scrimmage and then seeing the handoff and reacting back down the line of scrimmage to make to get in on the tackle nice job by Jarvis Moss that time oh it’s so important they maintain contained cuz if the guys get outside the ends easily they’ve got the speed to really punish you mcfaden was in position for the direct s now they’ll shift back to Casey dick on Third and long in trouble throws it up for grabs and nobody’s there to grab it little tangled up a Arkansas receiver and a gator Defender but the gator defense holds and Arkansas will have to try for a relatively long field goal great pressure by the gator defense as they they just break down the blocking scheme there you see Jarvis I mean uh Derek Harvey forcing dick to throw the ball before he’s ready and now here’s Jeremy Davis sophomore from Fort Smith try a 41 yd field goal Davis there you see just one out of five Beyond 40 this about a half yard Beyond 40 sailing right and it’ll be no good very close as that one past the upright and so far he through the upright story line going the gator way Florida makes a field goal Arkansas misses and the Gators come out offensively and a good sign for the Florida Gators looks like Bubba Caldwell is in the the one of the three receiver spots Arkansas they’re going to have the ball most of the time I’m afraid big advantage in time of possession but no points to show for it Le waiting fires he’s got Harvin Harvin at Midfield the ball popped out oh oh Percy the Freshman from Virginia Beach had a big play and I’ll tell you exactly what happened here Larry and it’s a freshman mistake but you know veterans make that same mistake this time he sees an opportunity for a real big play you know he’s got the corner beat he’s being covered by Darius venson now what he’s going to try and run before he catch it he’s right there he’s trying to take off and run instead of stepping back to the ball especially when you catch it in your body you got to step back to the football Jil Cornelius and Dallas Baker split out to the left Caldwell was in the game but he left after that play second and 10 from the 23 Cornelius Ingram and he’s up to the 35 give Ingram 12 yds and a Florida first down cornelus Ingram working on John Johnson Senior out of Houston Texas now here’s a young man that’s really come on big of late conelius Ingram this just a little slant route he’s got great hands big Target he just catches that ball puts it away before Johnson can get him on the ground first down Gators see a CI over there on the floridaa sideline cwell goes in motion shovel pass to Harvin Harvin fights his way through a couple of hits and gets up to about the 42 yd line a gain of almost seven shovel pass is something we start to see a little bit more of the last couple ball games but hadn’t seen a lot of that uh during the latter part of the season in the middle of the season but you know when you can figure out a way to get the ball in the hands of Percy Harvin you know you don’t care whether it’s a shovel pass whether it’s a pass down the field or it’s a handoff you want him to get some touches and an Arkansas player shaking up that’s Randy Kelly their strong safety little slow getting up but uh he’s apparently okay pops up on his own Kelly trying for the tro Polamalu trophy for college football this year they should do that you know ever’s got the most here ah get out of here from pometto Florida young man that’s from the state of Florida that’s uh played exceptionally well for Arkansas throughout his career and time being called Arkansas had some confusion defensively and so they will use a timeout second down and three for the Gators just shy of the 42 yd line as we resume action here at the Georgia Dome give us to Harvey to reverse his field he’s got the 45 he’s across Midfield and run out of bounds inside the Arkansas 49 by Randy Kelly but the gator in Arkansas territory for the second time and Larry this is what’s so amazing about Percy Harvin he can be going One Direction you give him the football you know that you’re trying to run a a counterplay and he has that acceleration to go from a standstill stop to get outside tremendous [Applause] speed hon Moore back in as a running back for the Gator on first down straight ahead gets a yard or so and then he’s driven back by a host of hogs led by Jamal Anderson 92 one of their defensive tackles Anderson who leads the SEC with 11 quarterback sacks but we have not seen him getting a leak so far today good job on that right side by Colton m uh when the Gators are actually throwing the [Music] football more checks out Harvin back in four wide receivers plus Billy lco on second down for the Gator that’s go STS in to protect Harvin juggles it’s incomplete trying to break something on that short Crossing route and Darius Vette the corner back staying with him stride for stride let’s go back and take a look this is a low snap there where he loses his vision and right here he’s trying to just fit it in and I think Percy must have lost the ball as he was coming across cuz the ball came right over the center’s head as well as around the Umpire the Umpire particularly I think could have been very distracting for the Gator freshman third and long for Florida Arkansas they’ll bring at least five they do Le drop the ball picks up and runs and he gets it to the 43 yd line but that’ll be about four or five yd shy of a first Jack uh first down Keith Jackson the big defensive tackle doubling back to make the stop right here he’s trying to backp and looked down the field took it took his eyes off the football but I tell you what if ke Jackson don’t make that tackle Chris leak has a first down instead the Gators will punch from the Arkansas 43 Eric Wilbur’s first kick not a good one officially at 31 yds Reggie fish at the 10 yd line deep for Arkansas they’re not rushing there’s a high high deep kick that will be fielded at the 9 yd line by fish Arkansas will start at the 10 yd line quick throw out to the wide right and uh tackle made nicely there Darren mcfaden got the ball out in space and if you miss a tackle there who knows how long the play will go but the Gators make the play and hold it to about a seveny pick up Ryan Smith on the tackle for Florida well it’s it’s all about open field good tackling you know here’s a guy you know if you make him Miss If he if you miss him he’s gone but you see Ryan Smith who’s done yman work all year long makes a nice tackle in the open field holding him short of a first in Smith checks out for Florida on second and short that’ll be Jones Jones fights through the first hit gets the first down at the 21 ydd line Syler in there on the hit for the Gators along with Dustin doe first time we’ve seen Dustin doe the Freshman linebacker out of Jasper went to Live Oak for Swan for his senior year in high school goodlooking young linebacker for the Gators and he’s a guy they can use to spell Earl aett a little his Earl battles that aching ankle well and you bring Dustin do in you get th you get four linebackers in the ball game take out a corner you get your better tackles or more beier guys to play uh short yardage situations Brandon Syer you seeing the gator defense lined up on first down Jones saw a little scam got it up to about the 25 yd line Joe Cohen grabbed him and held on Joe Cohen one of the guys on the defense I talked to this week about being ignored a little bit overlooked a little bit and all his words didn’t support the notion his eyes sure did as uh the Gators lead the SEC and run defense and all the talk with all this Arkansas running game 300 yards on LSU and as some player reminded me this week yeah who won that game LSU and the big thing they they they like to break off the long ons you know they don’t they don’t like to have to sit there and fight it out take two three yards a clip another good job of getting penetration in the back field by Jarvis Moss well Jarvis Moss has been terrific early in this ball game Brian Crum helped finish it off but it’s been Moss who has not made that many tackles for the Gator incredibly active today well they’re just beating the blocker at the line of scrimmage and then he just reaches out gets his hands on him and then Brian crumb comes in and finishes off and if crumb didn’t Steven Harris was there and right behind Harris was Earl ever as the Gators have been getting a lot of hats around the football third and long they’ve got to get the ball to the Florida 31 to move the chains deck fires and it’s incomplete Steven Harris s saw the release of the football Got His Hands Up Knocked the ball down that time lar you know these guys are playing you know with uh great play recognition now watch Steven Harris this is him right there he sees he can’t get there he’s watching the quarterback all the time gets his hands up out outstanding job that time by Steven Harris Harris one of a number of seniors on this Florida defense they will sorely be missed next [Applause] season on fourth [Applause] down they just start creeping around like they’re going to come with an allout Rush here comes the pressure they got it Ball’s batted around and it’ll be Gator football right around the 10 yd line Jared faas The Freshman from Tampa Florida with the big block well the Gators work on this Irvin Meer is the special team coach we talked about special teams to start the ball game that it was very important that the Gators play well special team they come right up the middle nice job by Jarrett not hitting the kicker taking the ball right off his feet you know this is something that you’re taught by the coaches and then they bat it up forward but just not able to scoop it up and get it into the end zone but great field position for the offense let’s see if they can cash in lar gator first and goal leading three nothing cwell in motion and we’ve got a whistle did Arkansas call time the play clock had two seconds so let’s check on that Arkansas did use their timeout there was confusion on the Arkansas defense that’s their final time out of the first half so they’ve used them all and we still have nine 10 to play we have time out it’s the the eighth time this season the Gators have blocked a kick and it out of chrisly as he sees the end zone the only thing left i’ like for him to stop jumping up in the air cuz that’s how you get hurt here’s a nice job now see turns on the spe now he jumps up in the air I don’t know why these guys have to jump in the air that’s how you get hurt just get across the goal line all the ball has to do is break the plane but here gets up shows his high jumping ability touchdown Gators let’s see what Joey ehos can do with his third attempt much higher but also very short he’ll be fielded at the 17 yd line but not much Running Room as the gator coverage was excellent Arkansas will start at the 26 Jackson has checked in in a fullback spot along with mcfaden as Arkansas goes on offense Straight Ahead run couple of yards not much more Derek Harvey with a solid tackle for the Gators now it’s amazing on how many running plays right up the midd we’ve been able to call those defens Vin’s names as the guys making the tackle for a very short game but it just shows you how alert they are how aware they are and that they’re seeing the football you know they’re not being fooled with all the little razzled Dazzle that’s going on in the back field now Jones and mcad are in the game as well as a fullback Under Pressure dick it’s batted again that Gator pressure continuing to get to the Young quarterback and I’m telling you Larry what’s happening with this Gator defensive line they’re just out quickening these big Hogs now watch this look takes him on just gets inside once again you got Jaris Moss Out inside you got a tackle in game I mean they’re just whipping him at the line of scrimmage especially on the pass block on the uh pass rush and now it’s third and long they’ve only converted once on third down tonight take a reverse and will swing a pass that way incomplete and it’s just as well Ryan Smith was there but he comes up grabbing his hamstring after the incomplete pass to Damen Williams and Ryan Smith will limp off the field for the Florida Gators in fact he may need help medically yeah he’s asking somebody to come and get him he must have turned something but you know you you’ll see right here that if he catches this football Williams is going to get a headache you hopefully it’s not a hamstring that’s what he grabbed Urban Meyer gosh it’s already lost Tony Joiner Ryan Smith has been a sensational addition to transfer from up in there you know so anytime you try and pull a guard the way they did that time with Drew Miller that leads a gap for Ernest Mitchell to shoot he shot the Gap and was able to make the tackle before Deshawn way was able to get up field officially a loss of two back to the 37 the Gators go five wide on second and 12 Arkansas rushes just four Gators have an open man deep inside the 10 touchdown Percy Harvin Merc Hardin having a terrific first half as is Chris hund two extra points and a field goal since the atmos the uh Gator’s absence over the years Harvin just whips the coverage gets the touchdown and the Gators are up 17 joining us in the booth Mike Slide the commissioner of the Southeastern Conference what a great event this is it has to be just a a highlight it really is you know and I think about it’s just such a great celebration of football in our part of the world and you it just outgrowth the excitement you know when you stand down in the field before the game you can just feel the palpitations it’s awesome well Arkansas got a little palpitation there a decent little run back to give them better field position but Commissioners you look there are other games like this around the uh country but nobody’s come close to making it the festival and the celebration of college football that the SEC has that’s right and they haven’t and you know we sell this game out in the wintertime 98% renewal so it’s hard to get a ticket to and what it means is the event is now greater than any particular team more teams people just want to come and be a part of this great event well and when you know I think you and I met down in Miami at the Orange Bowl and we talked about the gator getting here and whether it was going to be Arkansas LSU but you know when you look at the the way that they play football in the SEC you know we hear it all the time that the SEC is not this not that but when you look at the SEC is there a better conference no there is not a better conference and you know why because we play both sides of the ball we you know there’s nobody our defensive backs for example in this league are unparalleled you know the speed and the size and and the passion and then when you put him in a stadium with 80 90 100,000 people cheering them on there’s just nothing like it you know one of the things it’s so talked about in college football right now is the BCS and who should play and who shouldn’t play and it is a convoluted thing but what do you see as the future and how much discussion you think will be about some of the options that are out there well that’s a good question I since I took over as a coordinator last last year I’ve said from day one that we need to keep looking at this and I am not necessarily sold on the current format and I’ve told our presidents and chancellors that it’s time for us to sit down over the next couple years and take a real hard look at it to see if it works for everybody and particularly for the Southeastern Conference incomplete pass there for Arkansas but there was a flag on the play looking at the BCS standings right now Ohio State’s in as we speak you know Southern cow’s got a big game with UCLA the gator playing a tough game here but yeah looks like a pretty good top four to me it does it does and actually that’s not a bad at top five either because you know wellu is in our league so it’s uh that’s not bad two of the top five well commissioner as you go through the league now you talk about looking at it and not mered to any particular format do you get a sense that there are more and more people around the country open-minded to taking a look uh I I can’t I don’t know but I think that since I took over as a coordinator I made that one of our primary goals in addition to putting the game on you know the the commissioner of the league and is the coordinator of the BCS not the president not the Zar you know don’t vote nothing but I think we’ve decided to make these two years that were involved in this forum for really taking a hard look at this process well Arkansas running the ball gets it up around Midfield so we’ll get our attention back to it that flag was pass interference in the secondary against the gator somehow a lot of people in orange and blue disagreed with the call but Mike we appreciate you joining us up here thanks for being with us yd line that was third down that was third down when they got called for the uh the interference but little play action he’s able to sit back and throw the football but because they run the ball so well they’re able to isolate Marcus Mar he’s 66 guys he’s 66 working against a smaller corner at 510 5 11 beautifully thrown Ball by Casey dick the clock and three timeouts remaining a high short kickoff nobody’s making a move for the ball someone better Gators finally do and we’ll have the ball up around the 30 uh 27 yd line or so hon Moore let’s take a look at how the Gators got it done yards he’s run out of bound across the 30 and uh you you might get two or three out of the play second down coming Florida now with a minute 28 not only did the clock run on the kick the clock also ran while they were huddling up and waiting to get to the line of scrimmage so they’ve lost a lot of the time well but but he got out of bounds and so that stopped the clock so you know good good smart play by uh Cornelius Ingram of getting out to the uh out of bounds Fires for Dallas Baker Baker with his first catch at the 48 yd line and that’s what I’ve been wondering where is Dallas Baker you know he’s been Chris leak’s goto guy all year long gets a little pressure up there they come with a little Blitz outside Chris leak sets in the pocket takes something off it throws it up and over the cornerback Chris Houston the 55th catch of the season for the senior wide receiver out of New Smyrna Beach minute 21 three timeouts remaining the screen pass going to cwell to 45 Caldwell hiton penalty remains first Down Right Guard Drew Miller gets hit with the penalty but it’s good to see him back in the ball game Larry you know he went out early with a with an injury but he’s back in there giving it his all Leak with time doesn’t have a man open throws it in the ground towards Keon Moore it’ll be second and long and the Gators are down to 28 seconds I thought the play to Caldwell was the best chance to get a timeout cuz guys were all over the place a lot of time ran off there the gator still have timeouts but may not have chances to use them well by by saving the timeouts Larry gives them the ability now to throw the ball down the middle of the field you know if you waste your time outs early on now you’ve got to throw the ball to the sideline second and 15 Arkansas likes to cover only fourman Rush Baker gets about seven yards and now Urban Meer asks for a timeout and gets it with 19 seconds to play championship game how will this one turn out well we’ll find out before too much longer but leak is sacked and the gator will use another timeout but now they’ll be facing fourth and a bundle I’m not not sure that timeout now is almost as risky as it is anything else let’s see what happens here 10 seconds Gators do still have a timeout remaining basically just a thre man rush but it gets there and Le will just throw it to an open spot with 3 seconds to go and Arkansas will get to run a play from 55 yds away from the end zone but keep in mind the clock will start as soon as the ball’s ready very important that the defense get on the field know what they’re trying to get accomplished B steps up and fires deep down the right side and that ball will be caught by the Florida Gators they get the interception coach Meyer your thoughts on the first half and how everything went I thought we played very well on both sides of the ball we gave up one big one to a very talented athlete um monk but uh we’re keeping mcfaden in check it’s going to be a big second going to have to just keep tackling him some big plays by Chris leak early on some big throws and a big run obviously too yeah we actually dropped a couple Chris is throwing the ball very well uh but and a great run on that uh Q WP play we blocked the punt so there’s a lot of poses this first half this going to be a physical second half though what’s the defense doing that’s key that’s been successful in the first half we’re loading up we’re loading up the box we’re putting our Corners in Island they just got to make plays out there on the mistake play on the touchdown pass what happened there that guy got beat and uh a very talented guy and re’s got to bounce back what’s the key for the second half coach to get it done be physical man we have to tackle this back keep the ball in any other receiver or or um back can move well that full second part might be the key on that call then because I thought he stopped but it certainly wasn’t a full second so the gator put themselves in a tough down and distance first and 15 and that Ball’s intercepted Le threw it right at the linebacker for the Arkansas Razer backs Weston dasas oh boy Weston de showed Blitz he got up in the line of scrimmage as if he was coming and then backed out and Chris didn’t see that he felt that he was going to have one-on-one there you see him up in the line of scrimmage as if he’s coming now watch him back back out he’s reading the quarterback eyes all the way backs up you know Chris is trying to get the ball to Percy Harvin great disguise that time by danas and you saw two guys Criss Crossing almost at the same time with cobwell coming from the other direction so a bad start to the second half for the Florida Gators MC fad he might get a yard Brandon Syer again makes the tackle Brandon Syler may be having his best game this season yeah he’s he’s playing extremely well you know he’s reading his keys this time everything goes this way see how he stays at home now he’s able to move back out and and meet the running back you know earlier in the ball game a couple times he he tried to shoot the Gap now he’s playing his assignment second and nine this is Felix Jones and he’s run it over on their first official play of the second half they fake the reverse dick looking deep throws for the End Zone batted away Brian Smith came around his man that was Cedric Washington and batted that ball away outstanding coverage once again by Ryan Smith know reaches around knocks the ball away doesn’t hit the receiver prior to the ball arriving there you see he kept that left arm free made sure the officials saw that he didn’t have it wrapped around the receiver Jones is the tail back as dick call signals reverse with mcfaden mcf’s got all kinds of room he’s going to Sprint to the corner and get knocked out of bounds first and goal inside the five and the Gators who contained those plays in the first half of let him get outside here in the second and what’s happening is that outside receiver is getting that seal block and that allows the the uh runner to get outside of the uh defense here’s another look now watch the block up here by Marcus monk right here so he seals in Joiner and this allowed mcfat to get outside of the uh defense Mitch Mustang is in at quarterback they run a quarterback draw and he gets about half of it from the four to the two neither quarterback much of a runner but must staying a little bigger and stronger so they decided to copy the Florida game and uh bring in the bigger stronger running quarterback but didn’t get much out of he’s six for six with three TD passes and Arkansas’s within four Davis for the extra point to get the Hogs within a field goal and that’s where here we are with a long way to go 1206 to play in the third quarter of the SEC Championship game and we’ll see how Arkansas elects to kick off but first another look at the TD pass and as you saw in the corner your screen Earl ever was you know he was in la la land he you know he’s like who’s supposed to have this guy he doesn’t even see the ball to snap well just a heads up play by the Arkansas quarterback that time MC faten or who ex was the running back line up a quarterback and another high short kick be fielded the gator snuck up James all the way into return position Brandon James gives up a little ground and he’ll be swarmed under at around the 30 yd line well uh as you look at them working on uh rut what they’ve got to do is come back out you know don’t lose confidence do what you’ve been doing you know Dan Mullen has been calling a good football game you you see Ray McDonald also over on sideline so the injuries are mounting up really the big star of the first half Percy Harvin with 31 yds rushing and 56 as a receiver good to see Eric rled from PK Young School in Gainesville get up on his own power R the keep we spun off one guy but ends up picking up about three yards before he is dropped Jamal Anderson and the defensive end makes the play for [Music] Arkansas skaters not only need a drive they need to add points I don’t think 17’s going to win this thing no this is an Arkansas Team that’s uh used to putting a lot of points on the board I think they’re number two in the SEC as as four as points scored averaging 30 a ball game roll looks Waits and fires out of bounds trying to get it to Cornelius Ingram here’s a kind of run out of bounds by the underneath coverage by Randy Kelly and a huge third down for the Gator offense well you you need to pick up the first down you need to give that defense a break who already in the first half was on the field 5 minutes more than the uh Razer back uh defense so it’s it’s critical that the Gators pick up the first down here Gators have converted only one third down opportunity in this game leak under pressure fires and it’s incomplete got the ball to Dallas Baker but he couldn’t pull it in Houston on the coverage well Houston’s on the coverage ball was just slightly behind him but this is one that Dallas Baker supposed to catch he’s your go-to guy no he’s out to the right side of your or your left side of your screen and right here this ball is right there in the Bread Basket a little he had to turn back to get it but that’s a catch you got to make you know you’re big time player you got to make big plays when it counts all the momentum here at the Georgia Dome is now with the Razer backs as the Gators get set to putt no pressure at all on Wilbur and he FS a low line drive that’s very returnable except fish trips over the 25 yd line and that’ll put the ball just across the 26 and that’s where AR saw will go on offense to start this next Drive well my goodness USC loses to UCLA in Los Angeles the Trojans are out then there were three for the BCS National Championship Game Ohio state will play Michigan wants a rematch the Florida Gators still have a lot of work to do to remain a one loss team put the ball across the 26 in the game defense which has lost Tony Joiner which has lost Ray McDonald and they make the play on first down Syler and Moss boy those guys have certainly earned their keep today they have been outstanding on the defense for the Gators s’s playing exceptionally well that time the Freshman Dorian Monroe was able to get up and uh make the tackle in the back field and get Brandon Sil came in to clean up but just a good job by the young F lining up at that strong safety spot in place of Tony Jonah on second down they’ll just run it straight ahead and not much there ever finishes it off but might have been Derek Harvey might have got a hand around the ankle no it was Moss again this is just a defensive line borne their back refusing to be blocked there you see nice job by Earl Everett not overrunning the play keeping leverage on the play able to get back inside make the tackle Jo Arkansas is third down oh what a three and0 would do for this defense right now dick with all kinds of time he’s got an open man down the sideline incomplete couldn’t pull it in Damien Williams The Freshman maybe a little over thrown no no no no no that’s a perfectly thrown football and out of the corner of his eyes he see durian Monroe coming you know great play action you know Gator go into a zone defense and there he sees Monroe out of the corner of his eyes but that’s a catchable ball I’m I’m shocked Nat you’re not defending the receiver no that’s one that should have been caught just like the one Dallas Baker had a shot [Applause] at Gator with some pressure and they knock him down no flag gator touch it and then fall on it at the 42 or 43 Brandon James the punter Jacob Skinner questioning the referee but he went down as if he’d been shot and bad acting is not being rewarded anymore well I mean the gator Defender did everything humanly possible to not hit him he went to the side of him let’s take another look at it and you’ll see a gator Defender come in he reaches out now watch how he he stay tries to stay away from him oh look oh hon Moore had that one great run earlier in the ball game I wonder if we’ll see him get another opportunity shovel pass is intercepted Antoine Robinson will go all the way for the touchdown sophomore defensive end from Little Rock making the play of the night so far and the Arkansas Razer backs not even Midway through the third quarter have scored 21 unanswered points and have gone from down 17 to up four in this SEC Championship game it’s been some outstanding plays by by their football players but by the same token we’re not making Play here’s another look at it you’re running it now right here what you need is Drew Miller’s got to turn up and block that guy he turns up F you don’t just leave a guy unblocked and he’s able to react back in and make the play here’s another look at him now watch watch the guard right here now if he blocks him he doesn’t make this play you know the the the rule of thumb for an offensive lineman is you never pass up an unblock man well Keon Moore has has uh early in the ball game broke off a big one now Arkansas kicks deep for the first time the Gators expecting the short kick were kind of out of keyston Moore to try and run between the tackles now we’re trying to get everything outside and you know this is a very quick and agile defense for the Arkansas Razorbacks and they’re flowing to the left side right now on second down and 11 there you see the sophomore running back he doesn’t get get it Le keeps nothing there he got back to the 15 and then is driven backwards Marcus Harrison leading the charge for the Arkansas defense let’s go and see what’s happening down in the pit you g is try to get a good double team block they’re trying to get movement right there Chris Lee doesn’t cut it up you know he’s got to go ahead and hit that Gap cut it up but he saw Anderson nothing doing for the Gators on a pair of runs and now the senior quarterback who passed for over 10,000 yards he’s passed for more yards than any Gator quarterback ever but he doesn’t have a ring and he’s got to Rally his team on Third and long he fires a diving attempt incomplete Percy Harvin would have been a phenomenal catch he couldn’t pull it in in the game ERS go three and out Razer backs had every receiver covered this time Chris leak sits in the pocket as long as he can and he gets rid of the exceptional football here today just an outstanding effort they fool the entire Arkansas defense and Jamal conelius picks up the first down let’s see if we can do something with it what a big gain for run the football but that’s not what we do well especially when Deshawn W’s not playing it’s almost as if we need to just drop backs spread everybody out and see if we can’t get some open receivers another key third down for the Gators I don’t think they’d fake another punt but who knows three receivers split to the left now Baker in motion and Florida calls another timeout second of the this possession third quarter has been all Arkansas as the Gators have turned it over twice once it was an Arkansas touchdown the other setup in Arkansas score and they lead it 2117 on third down leak Runs Out of Time fights through and gets it but it’s short of a first down Percy Harvin tackled at the 41 it’ll be fourth and based on the spot looks like about a yard and a bit more maybe about 4 feet [Applause] and that’s why he gets the big bucks what do you do now on Fourth and a little over a yard don’t have a lot of time to think about it looks like the either the punt team or the second unit’s going to go in and do it but play clock’s already down to 15 and Florida will call its third timeout Gators are out of timeouts Florida will kick it away after burning the timeout and it’s a great kick fa catch singal four and muffed back at the goal line I think the gator have a [Applause] touchdown wandy Pierre Louise if the gator if not for special teams Florida would be in big trouble Gator special teams have them in the lead the gator special teams have recovered a muff punt for a touchdown they have blocked a punt for a touchdown they’ve made a field goal and all three extra the tackle unless I say otherwise well and and you know what they’re doing is you know they’re they’re alternating Felix Jones and Darren mcfat just splitting mcfat out at the wide receiver from time to time and then now he lines up at the quarterback position and would you let him throw deep in your own territory he’s six for six with three touchdowns this will be Jones on the carry turns it up field turns it right into the gator defense and down he goes to gained a yard but he paid heavily for it that time the gator didn’t allow them to get outside containment forced him to turn it back in and that man Brandon Siler once again is right there watch him turn back in Brandon Siler breaks everything up and here comes the Bevy of Gator Defenders nice job by Brian crumb split in the double team and now Arkansas’s faced with a big third down and they’ve got a little a little bit of confusion still 10 seconds on the play clock and now time called on the Arkansas sideline have it has you ever seen all six timeouts used in the third quarter Arkansas which had all the momentum has lost it on that muff Punt and now needs to move the chains to quiet down the gator Crow third down dick fires it’s caught first down Arkansas that’s Cedric was Washington number 10 making the catch big conversion there and tell you one that Casey dick show some Poise for a young guy who was 3 for 17 last week yeah he hasn’t uh the Gators have really not come after him that much Larry so he’s able to sit back in the pocket comfortably and throw the football because the Gators are playing run first when you’ve got the great Runners like Darren MC faten and Felix Jones you know you’re not as concerned about getting after the quarterback especially for a team that runs the ball 80% of the time [Applause] and they’ll run it here there’s a hole Fatt got about five to the [Applause] 37 that guy number 40 makes the tackle again well here here is Brandon Syer right here no excuse me right here now watch watch how he keeps leverage on the play leverage on the play there there he is I knew I had him right the first time but uh it’s all about keeping that leverage you you you you your linebackers you flow together if he bounces it outside Earl Everett is there if he bounces it inside Brandon Syler is there there’s been a heck of a ball game between Florida and Arkansas Gator up by three on second and five mcfaden hem in gets nowhere Syler again leads the gator charge when you see a linebacker making these kind of plays it’s because how well that defensive line is playing up front keeping those offensive linemen off him and Brandon Syler is just flowing to the football and making solid tackles in the hole gers playing without Tony Joiner at strong safety without Ray McDonald on the defensive line he suffered a broken arm earlier in this game trying to get the ball back for its offense in the final minute of the third quarter dick no pressure fires but sort of a first down Marcus Monk has it got a great spot across the 40 but it’s still short of a first down by a yard and a half and if you’re the gator now you got to be very careful if they put they send in the punt team make sure that they kick the football you know you’ve hit them with a trick play don’t let them recover with the same thing let’s see what the Gators do they put on their put their punt return in Arkansas’s going to think about it during the timeout because the third quarter has come to an [Applause] end out of much pressure at all short low kick and it’s fielded by Arkansas at about the 33 yd line so the Gators will get excellent field position Gators got to establish some offense the offense has really not done much here in the second half there’s Harvin cutting back Percy Harin in the open field it’s a race to the end zone Percy Harden will go all the [Applause] [Music] [Applause] way and Chris hund remains perfect 17 straight for the Gators 10 straight or 21 straight for the Razer backs 14 straight for the Gators as Percy Harbin gives the Gators that running game he cuts back let go with a great block there’s a great move and it’s over Percy Harvin with the touchdown and the gator lead it by 10 watch this tackle right here he’s going come around he’s going to log this guy and log him in and then you’re going to get him coming out linebacker’s going to flow he’s going to kick him out watch the blocks this is what I mean you never pass up anybody and then Percy Harvin does the rest great cut and he’s Off to the Races and Larry I don’t know anybody that’s going to catch Percy when he gets an open field not if they’re not on a motorized vehicle they got no shot Gator’s last SEC Championship came in this building in 2000 when the Florida Gators beat the Auburn Tigers 286 Harvin with over 150 allpurpose yards the Gator kick it high and short fielded at the 18 by Jones got away for one man going up the sideline and he’s hit oh he kept his balance oh mercy but this year in part cuz they don’t throw that much and people have to respect the running game at all times there again you think the pass might open up some run on Ave play and the gator defense is still everyone’s playing run first and stopping it for a very short game and that’s what you’ve got to do with a team that throws the ball 60 to 70% of I mean runs the ball 60 to 70% of the time I mean here’s another look you see the gator working hard there and Brandon Siler reading every reading the play seeing the hand off making the tackle in a hole on second down now some pressure it’s a jump ball incomplete Jarvis Moss came flying in from the right defensive end he working against Tony Yugo and he just beats him on a speed rush comes around the the backside Casey never sees [Music] him here’s another look at it here he is right out here watch him he just beats him right at the point of attack gets around him and then just hits the quarterback just as he goes to throw the football oh if he’ hit him an eyelash sooner or an eyelash later it might not have fall in between the two Florida Defenders over there now let’s see if the Gators come after Casey dick for the first offense that really uh put Arkansas back in the uh in the game but defensively they’ve played an outstanding football game especially with as many injuries as they’ve had not a broken arm they have changed that to a hyperextended elbow they’re going to MRI it back in Gainesville that’s the report of Ray McDonald and that could mean a chance to play in a bowl game which the break would not have allowed Arkansas fakes a couple of running plays throw over the middle broken and a late flag comes in Dorian Monroe is going to get flagged for interference from an official who was 30 yd away when the contact occurred I’d sure like to see this again because uh look like Dorian Monroe Monroe reached in and just snatched the ball out and you wonder if officials who have a better view don’t why they don’t run and say whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa but they don’t pass interference number 34 on the defense the penalty will be enforc on the foul automatic that is the second huge third down pass interference on the gator defense let’s go back and take a look he should be coming right into the middle of your screen and uh you know I I mean he has as much right to the football as the receiver as long as he plays the ball right here it looks like he’s playing the ball and and he just pulls it out so that’s a tough call that’s a tough break on a young man oh mercy and a big break for Arkansas which keep possession down field goal range just is a double pass throwing deep down the right side and it’ll be an Arkansas touchdown Cedric Washington to Felix [Applause] Jones that maybe being looked at I don’t know what you can review here you can’t call a man for being downfield maybe in the corner of the end zone did he not quite get in but it’s seemed to me he was still well within the goal line let’s go back and see if we can see what they see here’s another look at it juggled it had it touchdown that’s the second one well it’s hard to tell but it looks as if the receiver that caught the ball and then threw the forward pass was working backwards the whole time so after review video evidence confirms the call on the field it was a touchdown one or two plays later on the other Arkansas Drive extra point is good well if you look the last couple times they’ve scored but you know the the one big play with Percy Harv’s going 67 yards but other than that you’ve had interceptions punt punt you know in the second half this offense is really struggled except for the big play with Percy Harman and they’re going to go ahead and kick deep and that’s a good deep kick I don’t think Gator should bring this one out and they won’t Chris leag just 126 yds one touchdown two interceptions most important 12 minutes of his college career right here nice screen pass with some blockers Bubba Caldwell breaks it outside calwell across the 35 out of bounds at the 38 39 yd line Randy Kelly finally ran him out but that’s wide receiver screen well set up but this time Larry unlike the earlier ones they tried to get into it now watch as you look at your screen you’ll see on the right side of your screen good job of setting it up now he doesn’t overrun haven’t seen that much of today is Sam Olo jutu who is Arkansas’s leading tackler with 101 do not seem to be as active as we’ve seen before well the Gators have done a good job of getting a hat on him Dallas had trouble getting open today and we’ll see what happened on the line of scrimmage which is when the flag came down that’s almost always either an offside or a illegal uh procedure because of an illegal formation it is formation and Arkansas should decline it because the time is so important if they March the 5 yards another 20 seconds will run off their defensive coordinator Reggie Herring s goes I don’t want it Jer stopped the clock for me on the line of scrimmage on the offense that penalty is declined it will be second down this is where you got to be mentally in the ball or just run it to keep the clock moving and comes in motion they will let senior quarterback make a play he’s got it run out of bounds short of the first down and stops the clock at the Arkansas 48 it’ll be fourth in a long yard it’ll be not the longest yard but it’ll be a long yard and I don’t think there’ll be any fakes or riger Moll here but you never know now this is where you’ve just got to let your defense take control of the game they’re playing outstanding football you just don’t want to do anything to give Arkansas a big play your special teams just playing well so you just want to kick it away cover and play defense Reggie fish who mishandled the punt for a touchdown earlier is back to return Wilbur’s last kick went 54 yds this one will not go anywhere close to that it hits and we bounce and the clock will run as the ball bounces Let It Roll boys let it roll down to the 9 yd line and Arkansas needing two scores has to go 91 yds to get to the end zone a 41 yd kick with no [Applause] return a little counter big hole opens up there’s Felix Jones Jones is dragged to the ground at the 40 yd line a big pickup for Arkansas as they go 31 yds on the play this is a team that does what Larry they run the football you know it doesn’t matter how much time’s on the clock that’s what they do well so you you look for them to run draw screens those type of things before they throw the ball down the field he did not go out of bounds that was the one benefit for the Gator so the clock will start running right away Arkansas in a hurry [Applause] up that fires behind his man incomplete almost tipped into the lap of Ryan ran Smith by Cedric Washington clock stops at 5:43 and now if you’re Arkansas you’re thinking about those two timeouts you’ve already used Gators are just thinking One Stop might be enough one stop to give the Gators the conference Championship and they’re going a direct snap to mcfat nope they shift out of it BS got a screen the other way running back through traffic and that’s not going to go anywhere good play defensively by the Florida Gators Damien Williams got the catch a host of Gators made the defensive play and that will cost Arkansas about half a minute or more yeah they weren’t fooled and you know everybody played their responsibility you know you hear me harp on that all the time but if you take care of your responsibility because if a play is to the other side you’re not going to make that you got to make sure that ball is thrown and they cross the line of scrimmage before you drop your coverage the Razer backs huddled up while the clock continued to run on Third and long deck fires incomplete monk couldn’t bring it down with his big left paw and now fourth and 11 for Houston nut 5 minutes and only one timeout and you need two scores do they kick it away it doesn’t look like they will [Applause] they checked in Felix Jones they checked in another tight end big West Mur Murphy he may be there for protection rather than run the clock continues to run but the Gator’s going to be called for pass interference for the fourth time tonight and uh after all of this Ryan Smith is down pass interference early contact on the defense number 28 15yd penalty from the previous spt automatic first down for Arkansas well they call it on Ryan Smith but it really didn’t look like it was him that that time it was Monroe second time today he’s gotten called for a um a penalty pass interference and Arkansas will get the ball at the Florida 46 yd line 447 to play the Razer backs down 10 we saw Smith bought for a while there he had his eighth interception of the season and right here you just want to go down just get down no you don’t want to take a chance on getting hurt a delay that worked well last time but not as well this time D Jones hit by Earl Everett and dropped for a short gain he got well maybe six yards but again it keeps the clock moving let’s me in the rips I tell you what you know that I I hope that the SEC get a of this of that film and uh take Arkansas had 12 men in the Huddle that’ll be a 5yd penalty on the Razer backs they broke the huddle with a dozen sorry now but as I said that substitution infraction on the offense that’s a 5yd penalty second down I I think that as you try and clean up the play of these young men when you see something like that an SEC you need to take that film send it in and have them take action so things like that don’t happen and you don’t have the escalation of people losing their cool out on the football field clock starts up again as we go down to 410 to play in this SEC Championship Game second and nine after the penalty McFadden’s looking to throw he’s got nobody throws it up for grab left side incomplete Florida has to be so proud they were able to make want to lay on the ground you know hold him down let the clock run you don’t want to be springing up Brandon Syler is a little slow getting [Applause] up that’s the way you do it now the official calls time to see if Syler needs to leave the game he certainly doesn’t want to now he’s going to have to CU Florida does not have a timeout to use so Brandon Spikes the freshman from Shelby North Carolina will come in what a night for Brandon Syer talk about a big time player playing a big time game in a big situation Brandon Syler has been phenomenal tonight well we’d like to see him uh 12 tackles here tonight but you know you need to try and get him back in the ball game he’s your leader on defense he averages five tackles a game dick under pressure throws to the end zone and it’s intercepted Ryan Smith got it done and the Florida Gator stop Arkansas with 315 to play he may get it tonight he has one waved off tonight already TBO keeps Florida’s going to power run and see if they can move the chains as TBO goes for about seven or eight yards yeah this is called great position you get a blitz up the mill forces Casey dig to throw the ball early but you see he sees the ball un unlike most Defenders he sees the football Casey dick knows that I shouldn’t have thrown it there and Reggie Nelson the two stalwarts in the gator secondary each with a pick tonight TBO will keep he’s got a first down and he goes down at the 36 yd line Two Carries 16 yds and the Florida Gators have just about put it in the bank only one timeout remains for Arkansas the Gators lead by 10 great blocking over the left side how many times have we said this good blocking by Phil [Applause] Trotline we see when Arkansas decides to use their timeout tbo’s got to watch the clock make sure he takes it all the way down he’s a rookie but 9 seconds is too much to leave on there he got about three yards Houston nuts got to decide how and when he’s going to do it and I’m not sure that it matters a whole lot either way they’re not going to score two times in the closing seconds Ryan Smith over there with Tony Joiner what a shame that Tony Joiner got hurt hopefully he’ll be back for a bowl [Applause] game 115 and the clock [Applause] running gets the play clock down to six that time a little better only gained a yard or two it’ll be third down in about six and Arkansas will use its final timeout with 102 to play opportunity now to start thinking about the BCS but uh you know me I don’t believe it’s over till it’s over Lar let’s see how much they string out this play to use up as much clock as possible see the flag or maybe a false start and little classless behavior and they just dumped the [Applause] coach which has become quite cliche in athletics now before the snap false start number 63 on the offense that’s a 5yd penalty still third down please reset the clock to 1 minute 2 seconds 102s so the chances of picking up the first down just dropped significantly and I would imagine they will not call a play to run wide to the left since the wide part of the left is a little icy third 11 he’ll run right I think he knows how he takes right now he’s going left again hit and drops at at the 35 another guy just jumped on and still no [Applause] flag but the clock will continue to run now we’ll see how long it takes him to spot it and then 25 more seconds will run off it’s party time for the orange and blue they can take it down to about 14 seconds before they have to snap it on fourth down I just think you take the penalty you take every second off the clock the Florida Gators playing one of the toughest schedules in college football the Gators will have played 10 teams that are going to bowl games Nat I don’t know if anyone has ever played 10 teams that are headed to bowl games Michigan for example has only played six there it is it ran down to 12 seconds see what the game I’m sure they will kick it Arkansas’s got 10 men on the line now they’ll split one wide the Gators will [Applause] they deflected it but fortunately not too strongly and just let it roll let it roll the clock will start when the ball is ready that could have that might have flip flopped around for four more seconds well they haven’t got the memo yet that the clock doesn’t stop until you touch the ball the Gators are already celebrating on the sideline the fans in the stands Carpe DM who would Seize the Day of bunch of gators Seize the Day none more so than Percy Harvin on offense Brandon Syler on the defense the ball game is over folks the Gators are the SEC Champions once again Percy five catches 62 yards and a touchdown six rushes 105 yards in a TD you really got your team going today oh yeah I did uh I had great blocking for my teammates so I did the easy part by running uh this one for the senors uh my d bub all my position group so I just wanted to thank all them you talk about those seniors 21 seniors that have been through so much they got back to this game and then here you get this in your first game in the SEC Championship oh yeah we knew coming in some of the senors they had been through a whole lot uh with culture changes and all that so we just wanted to come here and get this victory for him
