there are athletes so Transcendent that their sports are forever defined by the before and after there is baseball before and after Babe Ruth golf before and after Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicholas and then again before and after Tiger Woods basketball before and after Magic Johnson and Larry Bird and there will be basketball before and after Caitlyn Clark whose college career ended Sunday with an 87 to 75 loss to South Carolina in the national championship game she has changed both her game and how women’s sports overall are viewed very much for the better and neither will ever be the same but some players refuse to give Caitlyn the credit she deserves there were encouraging signs before and just after Co that maybe just maybe significant change was coming owners in both leagues who saw and treated their franchises as sound Investments rather than charity projects and then came the Clark tsunami an average of 5.5 million people tuned in for Iowa’s victory over unbeaten South Carolina in the 2023 final four captivated by her logo 3es and Unapologetic Trash Talk nearly 13 million people watched the title game and Angel Reese and LSU gave Clark and Iowa as good as they got Clark’s assault on the record books ensured that interest would remain high this season but few could have predicted this Iowa played to sold out arenas for almost every game home Home and Away each seemed to bring a new ratings record culminating in 12.3 million people tuning in Monday night to watch Iowa and LSU’s rematch this time for a trip to the final four Lakers Superstar LeBron James has been a vocal supporter of women’s basketball and once again had to shine the spotlight on Clark and fiercely call out her detractors James made it clear that he is a big Clark fan by saying if you don’t rock with Caitlyn Clark’s game you’re just a Flatout hater who have cast out over the two-time naith player of the year’s accomplishments at Iowa Clark’s NBA Style game features impressive passing and playmaking but her three-point range an ability to make shots seemingly from anywhere has been praised by James and Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry who is the NBA’s all-time leader in three-point field goals but some current and former players such as Lynette Woodard and Diana terasi have not been quite as supportive even as Clark has transformed Iowa and and women’s basketball at large into mustsee television Clark this season broke the record men’s and women’s for points scored in an NCAA career and her Hawkeyes never made it to a national final prior to last year now they’ve done it in consecutive Seasons Phoenix Mercury star Diana terasi was once in Clark’s position a star coming out of Yukon eager to take the WNBA by storm she had no problem translating over quite well averaging 19.2 points per game in her rookie season in the league but according to terasi Clark is going to get hit with reality once she enters the WNBA saying that looking superhuman against 18-year-olds won’t look the same at the WNBA level look SVP um reality is coming okay you know there’s there’s levels to this thing and that’s just life we all went through it of course and you see it on the NBA side and you’re going to see it on this side where you know they you look super human playing against 18-year-olds but you’re going to come with some grown women that have been playing professional basketball for a long time there may be some elements of Truth coming from terasi here but for most fans it sure seems like Clark is far different than any other player we have seen at the women’s college basketball level in quite some time over the weekend while speaking at the women’s basketball coaches association convention in Cleveland the side of the women’s final four Woodard was recorded saying that because the two played under different rules Clark’s Milestone is not the same as woodard’s I am the hidden figure but no longer now uh my record was hidden uh from everyone for 43 years 43 years uh I don’t think uh I’ll just go ahead and get the O out of the room uh I don’t think my record has been broken uh because you can’t duplicate but you’re not duplicating and uh so unless you come with a men’s basketball and a two-point shot hey Woodard was referencing the fact that while she played not only did women play with a men’s ball and not the smaller version that’s used now but there also was no three-point shot Clark is the greatest shooter in women’s Hoops history and her prolific scoring from three-point range has been one of the keys to her success merely in arguably Clark is a legend in the making if she’s not one already however before Clark started cementing herself in NCAA history Cheryl swoops made her doubts known of the Iowa sensation on Gill’s Arena swoops said she doesn’t think Clark will transition to the Pro game immediately she mentioned that with limited roster spots current WNBA players will fight to hang on to their jobs and it’s difficult for rookies to come in and dominate like they do in college so will Caitlyn Clark be a good Pro absolutely will Caitlyn Clark come into the WNBA and do what she’s doing right now immediately absolutely not not going to happen so if if Kelsey Plum set that record in 4 years mhm well Caitlyn should have broke that record in four years but because there’s a CO year and then there’s another year you know what I mean so she’s already had an extra year to break that record so is it truly a broken record yeah that’ll go in the record books as Caitlyn Clark is the alltime whatever it is I don’t even know what the number is but that’s the way it’ll be and and I don’t think it should be the WNBA Legend inaccurately said that Clark has spent more time in college B basketball than Plum using her Co year of eligibility in reality Clark is in her fourth season the same amount of time it took Plum to break the record and out of everyone Ice Cube has gotten some Flack from WNBA star Lexi Brown due to his recent offer to sign college basketball star Caitlyn Clark to his big three basketball league Lexi Brown hopped on Twitter to share her thoughts on Ice Cube’s recent $5 million signing offer to Caitlyn so no other women’s basketball player has come to mind in the last 7 years instead of I don’t know supporting the women’s league that already exists let’s do this in the middle of the NCAA tournament this isn’t a dig at Caitlyn Clark relax and support all women’s sports I’m not arguing with any of y’all by the way she also went on gills Arena to say if you open the article and you see what he said what his reasoning he wanted to provide more opportunities for WNBA players and provide opportunities to not go overseas so you offer the contract to a player who’s not yet even in the WNBA if you’re going to say that it’s for that then stand on that but I don’t think it’s I think he’s trying to make a business decision which he’s a businessman that makes sense but to mask it in this I want to uplift and support WNBA players and women athletes is kind of a cop out I think despite the massive amount of cash and play Cube said in an interview on the Pat McAfee show that Clark hadn’t yet responded to the offer of course trying to bring you deacy hope you enjoyed the video guys make sure to drop a like and sub subscribe to our channel for more amazing content 1. They don't like her because her skin is not of their liking. That's just truth. Get over your hate buttheads

  2. No one is hating on her…people are just stating facts..The pros are more competitive than college, there are better players. Clark cannot beat the mens scoring title because of the huge differences in style of player, athleticism and strength components. Some of these comments on here seem like there coming from bandwagon riders and not actual basketball players or coaches. She's good for business but is she the best or even close? Just look at her current wnba stats and her team (fever) stats.

  3. Haters Gonna Hate !! Let me just talk about the "elephant in the room" Racism !!
The White Girl is dominating a sport of which the majority are of African decent.

  4. Wake up girls…and, I say girls because you are definitely not mature enough to be women. Clark is reality. Step up your game and live with it. Tired of you running your mouth. Rise to Clark's level and maybe someone will listen.

  5. I have never watched even 1 minute of wnba ball, but I will watch a game if it has Clark playing. You weakass women need to shut up and get better.

  6. All the hate is just racism. Black and BA players do not like her. Excuse me WNBA players.

Interestingly, enough people in the NBA have more respect for her and point out her goal. Black women prevent her because she’s talented and decent and all they are is trash talking street.

  7. The WNBA is a racist league full of ugly no talent players nobody wants to watch. BOYCOTT THE WNBA!!

  8. Come let's not get ahead of ourselves, she still not better then Candace parker, lisa lesiles, or swoope. All them players will own her one on one. Lets stop. Even reese will destroy catlin one on one.

  9. I have one name. Raven Johnson put the locks on catlin clark and took her possibility of winning a college chip. Lets not forget that.

  10. She’s absolutely the best player ever. Set back and watch you trash talkers. Caitlin Rocks! I started watching women’s basketball because of her. You other jealous women should embrace her because you’re gonna need her!

  11. Shes already better than those grown women check those stats. I'm sorry she's white. Racist all of them.

  12. The old ladies are bitter and jealous. The new players are bitter and jealous. Face it. They're RACISTS and SEXISTS. Caitlin is a white, straight woman.
