played a perfect hockey game near perfect they gave up a goal but they win uh 3-1 and uh now they go back to Edmonton with an opportunity to win a hockey game and go to the Stanley Cup and the odds makers are buying in uh right now to what the uh Edmonton Oilers are doing the Oilers were the uh the favorites to win the cup a couple of minutes ago but it’s a fluid Market Camp the Panthers have been relisted right now as the favorites plus 125 Edmonton Oilers are plus 140 Dallas Stars are now plus 650 to win the cup which is a pretty good number if uh you believe in the Dallas Stars and you don’t think this team is done yet plus 650 right they win they win uh the next game they go back to Edmonton they got a game seven and the Rangers who I think kind of are done the Rangers probably don’t win tomorrow they could but I don’t think they’re going to win two games in a row against the Panthers the Rangers are plus 950 right now interesting Gabe I’d rather take the Dallas number and to be there’s got to be an opponent out there for Jake besides Mike Tyson as a fight promoter as as a Mike Tyson fan everyone loves Mike as as a businessman there’s a lot of different sides to it but what what’s your opinion on on this should this fight happen you know it just brings a question of what everybody thought right what Mike’s age and I just want to break this down too like you know Mike’s wor 57 58 years old so if he was younger no matter if he had an injury or something happened you still got almost two mons to get ready for the fight I think the fight is what Late July right so you still got a pretty good amount of time to get ready for the fight but your health and your body don’t bounce back as well when you’re a little when you’re a little older so you got to take that time off but you know if I’m Jake I’m I’m going forward with a fight I think there’s such a big deal on Netflix right it’s such a big deal for Netflix that Jake should find a new opponent go and make that fight and then whatever else happened after that because I think that they just promoted it too much it was Netflix first like timeout this live you know Combat Sports type of deal and uh if I’m professional wrestling it wasn’t for him so now he’s going to uh try playing football how difficult is this going to be uh for him to make this transition um and they’re they’re going to line him up a defensive tackle how you know what’s your take on this do you think he can pull this off you know it’s going to be tough right because you can’t really replicate football without actually having to plan it right right like I played with Antonio Gates he played you know college basketball but he played High School football right so there there was some kind of correlation there I’m hoping that he makes a team and this is why because wrestling is you know obviously being in the in Combat Sports wrestling is massive it’s huge so the more and more if he makes it he’s kind of gonna be a bridge to some of these other guys that say oh you know what he could do if he did it I could do it and and people don’t remember you know Brock Lesnar Brock Lesnar you know made I think made it to like the Final Cuts when he was with uh you know he came close with the Vikings Sean so much so that they told him listen if you go play in NFL Europe and come back next year you’re going to make the team and he said W you know you know it really wasn’t fully for him and he you know he had a little bit of football but how much you talked about because Shawn mcdermit was a national Prep High School wrestling champion and I know mcder is very big and I don’t know if you did you did this your coaches mcdermid’s very big on he brings MMA guys in and boxers in and stuff and he loves he he respects the hand eye coordination and the handwork of what the fight combat sport game brings to football do you agree with that 100% that that’s why I even got into MMA in the first place I was training with Randy Couture and some of these guys back in the mid 2000s just to help my hand do coordination be violent and active with my hands uh it really transformed my game in football that’s why I just hung around sport for all these years I I’m hoping that I’m hoping he makes a team right I’m really I really hope that he makes a team because he could be a guy that run down on and I don’t know what he’s weighing at right now whatever but he’s a he’s a freak athlete you can put a guy like that on special team and show him how to run down a kickoff how to you know be on kickoff return and block and you miracle bailout special here the angels are plus 1600 and then five minutes later they tied it but now it’s now it’s 54 for the Mariners I’m on the Mariners here and 62 for the Yankees uh Tony over the Giants yeah Brian woo I listen I’m I was high on him uh earlier in the season obviously in Spring and then he had some hiccups early on some injuries and I still think that I still think that Seattle despite the fact that they don’t have not one top 10 player uh in war in any position you know they don’t do kind of that what’s that old saying um Jack of all trades master of none that’s who the Mariners are as long as Houston keep struggling and uh that Texas plays without some of their key pieces Seattle’s got a chance I’m with you Tony and in fact it it’s it’s kind of annoying actually for like the last I don’t know I’ve been talking about the Mariners a lot right like recently like the last three four even whatever like almost all year but I’ve been talking about the mar and everyone always comes on and acts negatively about them oh man this team team really can’t hit and stuff it’s like yeah okay you know I don’t care they win you know what I mean they do like they they win baseball games like they know all this team does is win baseball games right now and you know you could argue okay could you know should they have a bigger lead considering how good their pitching is but you know when you look at this division right now you know Texas will probably start to get uh better but Houston have been a good team uh Tony to bet on and they’ been a rock solid team to the under actually this game went over uh tonight but I’ve liked uh betting on the Mariners over the last couple of weeks yeah I think if uh I I would agree with you 100% I think you’re I think you’re spot on and if you’re looking at Futures here I think I think the best bet maybe of Texas Houston and Seattle that we F spoked about is maybe Houston not making the playoffs everything’s new there really Houston new coach new manager obviously new staff a lot of the new staff and and uh players that aren’t who they were four or five years ago counterargument is the Seattle Mariners have a run differential of minus seven which isn’t very good that’s true here that’s not a good sign when you’re four games over 500 but like yeah we’ve actually been outscored this year that’s a problem the bottom line Gabe is like not stop screwing around you got a great closing staff your starting pitching has been way above average and phenomenal you need a bat and just go there and get one like it’s the division’s for the taking right they could have knocked down Houston but they let him off the hook Houston starting to come around but Seattle’s a good baseball team they just need to go out and actually they need a bat they got to make a move and then we can take them seriously let’s argue this Gabe let’s argue this cam uh I’m not I’m not sold on the Royals being able to win the AO Central but look at their run dienal it’s up there with the Dodgers with the Phillies or with the top teams in baseball fraudulent but do we really believe yeah do we really believe is it is it that’s another what of the numbers really matter in the end exact I I brought it up earlier is the Royals done run uh is their run done now in a sense look they’ve lost five or six now right I mean well you’re right productive for them and people need to realize this they don’t have the luxury of losing three 30 hitters no no they listen I said five games ago when they was they have 20 games probably the most important 20 games of this season and I know that may be uh a little crazy to say this early in the season but it was 20 games against pretty good teams and they had a pretty good record and were they going to remain where they’ve been or are they going to back up like you suggested this maybe smoking mirrors or a mirage as far as the Royals Go San Diego is a play on team uh right now have you been riding uh the Friars I haven’t but I’m you know here’s another team that that let’s talk about te this is padra team they’re built around really three guys tatis Machado Bogarts Bogarts is hurt and tatis and Machado have been pretty average and they’re still here here’s the deal wake the Dodgers up they need to put an emphasis on purpose and that every game counts because again I spoke to it Celtics well it’s it’s hard to another there’s another hard to ignore team it’s hard to ignore Dallas and what they did to when they it seemed like when they wanted to P it on they did but I you know Boston’s rested they’re healthy and they’re they’re the ones that are uh at least being perceived as the team that really has to be better than they’ve been to be Dallas I I like Boston I I think they’re deeper I think that they have the guy they have a defense that can surround both Irving and donic and those are the two guys you need to concentrate on I think that you oh you do stop one of them I think if you stop Kyrie you’re gonna beat Dallas and I think Boston can do that give me Boston and six Boston and six I can’t I have a hard time arguing your points about Boston being deeper they do have more they have more post postseason experience right their second finals appearance they’ve been in the Conference Finals you know five to last seven years so like they’re they’re running out of excuses but on the on the other side of that Tony Boston are not a great home team and it’s the same thing with the Boston Bruins like combined I remember you it’s a little bit better now but I remember the I saw a thing just like two weeks ago 10 days ago when the Bruins still play that the Celtics and Bruins were combin 11 and 16 at home in the playoffs over the last like two years which anybody the Boston have played in the playoffs right they got a depleted Heat team depleted caps team Halbert and L Pacers team for two games they they they won but they didn’t blow them out ever now
