hey welcome in stinking truth podcast Marsh art alongside my partner Mike Evans thank you so much for making us a part of your day thank you for subscribing uh we have continued to grow like a weed so we appreciate all of you for doing that for us Mike how are you buddy I’m great I can’t wait to do this this podcast with you because I want to I want to kind of begin with one of your favorite subjects and that’s Tom Brady Tom Brady was on oh I love Tom Brady Tom Brady was on with Colin coward and uh it was about a 9 minute conversation and he had a lot of really interesting things to say about young quarterbacks and with so many young quarterbacks six of them getting drafted in the first round I found his comments very revealing although although based on the radio show that we do I don’t know if I want to go down this road because I don’t know you were kind of um I don’t know I mean a little jealous of Tom Brady the attention he’s getting going into the TV booth and all that kind of stuff no no it had to do with no it had to do with your fawning over the stuff that he said that is like you he said like it’s all about processing and you’re like oh God Tom Brady processing I’m like really do the right I’m like that’s a first on this podcast like right that’s the first I’m like have we not said it’s all about like your ability like one thing that I think a lot of people don’t really truly understand we get and I think it’s because it’s easy like athleticism is easy it’s easy to see guys that are incredibly athletic right it’s easy to see explosiveness it’s easy to see guys who run fast that stuff is that’s lwh hanging fruit it’s simple and I don’t care what position position you play if you have the ability to take in information discern that information and in a split second make a decision and that decision be right regardless of position you can play now if you can run fast and you you’re strong and you can do all those things you know that’s the difference between being good and great and great and ha of Fame right but your ability to process information you just acted like he said it was like the first first time you ever heard like you you’re so enamored with Tom Brady I mean I love Tom Brady but you were so enamored it was like the first time you ever heard hey if a young kid can process you know that makes it easier to play You’re like processing like You’ never heard it before first of all saying it you eight years we’ve been together I’ve been talking about your ability to process you hear from Tom Brady and you got to go change your shorts I don’t understand what happened happened to you somebody’s jealous somebody’s jealous well because it it is obvious but it’s not obvious to a lot of people including people who evaluate quarterbacks and pick quarterbacks in the draft because because there there’s so much fawning to your word there’s so much fawning over you know how how big a guy’s arm is or how mobile he is and I don’t think enough is talked about and it’s almost looked upon it’s like it’s like remember when the term game manager came along and it was almost like a derogatory term I almost feel like if a quarterback is talked about and his biggest strengths are how how good he is at processing information and and reading defenses it’s almost held like it’s a negative yeah well well take like Bo Knicks for example because we’ve been talking a lot about Bo Knicks here in Denver he was the six quarterback taken in the draft and it’s almost like well why was he the sixth quarterback taken because he doesn’t have all those measurables yeah and if you make the one argument for bonick is that he’s well he’s really smart and he processes information you immediately get the backlash is like oh this gu like some whiteboard Warrior oh that’s something that’s going to be really exciting to watch on Sunday yeah well I I think one of the things that I’ve said from day one is not only does he process quickly he gets the ball out on time I mean accurately on time all the most important things so it’s his ability you cannot get the ball out accurately and on time if you can’t process quickly you will always be late and if you’re late you’re inaccurate so you can’t be accurate without being able to process and you cannot be on time without being able to process you can’t do any of those things if you don’t process well so those are the number those are the most important things is being able to process to be accurate right and so and then the fit of Shawn pton and that offense how you fit now what I just said you can just sit there like calm and and you can listen if Tom Brady said the exact same thing you’d be in the ICU right now like I mean You’ be on life support trying yes you oh he said fit he said fit he said fit but but here is and and Tom Brady mentioned the fit yeah you he mentioned he talked about the fit in New England and you think about that he had Charlie Weiss when he first started his career as the offensive coordinator but he talked about the fit with Bill bellich and the understanding of the game at a more Global Perspective and how important that was because when Bill bellich sits down and talks to you and you’re you’re talking about offense and how you want to attack a defense bill bellich can go well here’s what we’re trying to take away here’s the weak spot of that defense that we’re playing here’s how we compensate for that weak spot so this is the adjustment they’ll make if you keep hitting this seven route and cover two this is the Judgment they’re going to they’re gonna they’re going to take that corner instead of you know instead of curling up at at six yards playing the flat or seven or eight yards they’re going to they’re going to sink him to 12 yards and so now if we hit that corner route three or four times guess what that Flat’s going to come open because they’re going to make that adjustment so it’s the little thing or we’re going to hey if we keep hitting you know an in cutting route on on a uh on what looks to be you know what looks to be a uh a certain we’ll trap that incoming route right we’ll take that corner will make him look like he’s running off in like a cover three right and and he’ll run each turn back to you and then all a sudden he’ll flip his hips and he’s right there for when you try to throw the stick route right and so we call that a trap cover too so you’re trying to trap somebody into making that throw so here’s the adjustment and then you start to learn it on a more Global Perspective so and you’ve talked about this before how lucky you were as a young offensive lineman sure the amount of the kind of coaching you got that you were just coached right up from your days in Washington then in the Denver the Hall of Fame coaches that you had how much did that matter meaning if you didn’t have Joe bugle and Alex Gibbs and Jim Hannah and Jim hannin let’s say you just had three run-of-the-mill you know traveling Gypsy Nomad offensive lineman coach that that move around how different would your career have been um again it goes back to you and I have talked about this with Tom Brady talked about the fit there are plenty of guys that could have been Hall of Fame type of players that went to an organization that didn’t have them playing the right position that didn’t have them that didn’t have them in the right you know in in the right scheme or whatever that you know didn’t have success and and just became guys that you know played a few years in the National Football League or played you know had a a decent career but didn’t you know didn’t necessarily Ascend to where they they could have been with the proper coaching you know it’s funny I get the opportunity I’m afforded the opportunity because you know honestly because not only my playing career um and and what I did from an injury standpoint and still playing at a high level um but my television career and you know the and the amount of people that I connect with over the over the course of my television career so I’ve been afforded the opportunity to to consult for a few teams and one of the things like I had asked a team that I was Consulting with like like do you coach coach like the not only do you coach uh the timing of your offense based upon the routes that you run to your offensive line and they’re like what are you talking about like what you I go when I played I knew the three-step drop is a three-step you you call all your three-step drops so if you’re in two Jet right if you’re a two jet is a five or seven step drop depending on what the route combination is um three jet same thing you go 200 jet 300 jet would be a three-step drop you would go you know if you’re going 70 7677 protection you go 376 377 like so you’re you’re you’re designating three-step drop in a three-step drop what am I doing I’m attacking the line of scrimmage quarterback is got a short drop right bam balls out so I’m attacking line of scrimmage almost run blocking or I can run block that particular that route but do you coach it in five-step drops so there’s certain five-step drops that I know timing of those five-step drops they might have a hitch in them it may take a little bit longer so I can’t be as aggressive but there are five-step drops that I know the ball’s out right now and so if I know that if I’m coached to understand that now all of a sudden I have another tool of my tool belt to help me in protection so I can take a five-step drop and turn it into do a three-step drop or a run block and essentially mess with the defensive line because if I’m coming at you and I’m run blocking you and all a sudden we throw the ball you’re going what the hell right I’m taking I’m taking the passive out of pass protection and I’m bringing that to you and so it’s just another tool in my tool belt and you don’t get that if you’re not coached by somebody who really understands what your problems are what the issues are and how I’m going to make you even though your skills may have diminished the best player that you can that you can be I was coached by in the I was coached in college by a guy by name Adan cazetta who was a phenomenal football coach dear friend of mine um Joe bugle Jim hanen and Alex Gibbs all God Rest their souls they’ve all passed away but they were all Hall of Fame offensive line coaches and so like I I just ran in the league at the right time being coached by the right people is the is the reason I had like the majority of My Success can be pointed right to those guys in the way I was coach all right so you know what what great coaching looks like yeah never mind the head coaches you had Joe Gibbs Mike Shanahan so Hall of Famers all over the place how good is a coaching in the NFL today oh I think I think there’s some that’s really good I think there’s a lot that’s garbage a lot oh yeah I I think there’s a I think there’s a I think there’s a lot of coaching in general all over the place that’s garbage and and so you’ve got to you know you gota like I said you have to you have to have players that have the aptitude to be able to accept coaching and to be able to accept a lot of knowledge like Tom Brady said Tom Brady said coming into the league as a as a rookie quarterback right it was important that he had drew bledo a guy taking all the Reps that could Mentor him and he could watch and he could really absorb and see you know what Drew did what worked and what didn’t work and he also mentioned uh Jordan love coming in with Aaron roders Aaron Rogers had the same thing with Brett Favre and some of it you can learn by hey the mistakes they make right don’t make that mistake right but a lot of it you know the mentorship of a guy and how he prepares and how he goes about his business and all that stuff is incredibly important and you’ve got you’ve got to be able to do that but from a coaching standpoint it’s how much aptitude do you have how much can the guy give you um and and how much like how much do they listen to you one of the important things for a player is to have and this is another issue the NFL has right now because of what I call the 8020 rule 80% of the money is made by 20 % of the players and 20% of the money is shared by the other 80% of the players so what do we do we continue to pay quarterbacks $50 million a year right in a in a quote unquote cap you know cap regulated business so they’re getting $50 million a year the the corners are getting 2025 right the receivers are getting 2025 the the rush defensive ends are getting 2025 the big time right and left tackles are getting you know 20 Mill bucks whatever it is right I mean so your your Cornerstone positions are making the majority of your cap and then everybody else shares the rest so how do you manage that well how I manage it is I get a bunch of young players that that don’t know anything that probably aren’t really you know going to make it any length of time and I manage my cap by having a bunch of backups that can’t play that are young and that can’t really play and so do they have the aptitude to be professional do they have the aptitude to take that information in and and discern that information and actually do they have the ability to apply that information and then the coaches can you give it to them do you know like one thing that’s important as Tom Brady talked about those Mentor quarterbacks one thing about players is players can discern information and pass it along to other players they have the Nuance so what the coach means by this is this is how I think about it like I can explain it to you in a way as from player to player you’re like oh shoot that makes sense okay I get it I don’t really think the way he explains I don’t really think about it that way I think about it like this and there are countless I could give you countless examples of of techniques I was taught in my career that I’m like okay I I get the concept but that doesn’t work in practicum like I it doesn’t work when you’re out there on the field it works like it works on a grease board but then so I’ll change my footwork maybe a little bit or my hand placement or whatever it is and have success with it to where the coach is like all right he’s doing it that way and it works so I’m just going to leave it alone right you know what I’m saying I I I guess I got to come back to because I’m kind of Blown Away by Your Word garbage that there’s a lot of garbage coaching out there in the NFL I why me this is the n this this is supposed to be the best of the best why is the coaching a lot of it quote garbage um well that’s that’s did I say that that’s fairly strong isn’t it yeah yeah you want to you want to soften it no I don’t want to soften it because I think it’s true I think I think there’s a lot of I think there’s a lot of coaching that is not very good and I think a lot of it is because I think a lot of it is because there are very few coaches who understand everybody’s issues I think most coaches are coaching their players issues or their position groups issues but you don’t understand like everybody else’s so for instance I’m an ex-quarterback now I’m a coordinator right and and I know what I want to do as a coordinator is push the ball down the football field do I really understand all the tools in the tool belt to give my offensive line an opportunity to still be aggressive do I understand all the tools in the tool belt to understand what their problems are so you’ll get this a lot and and I’ve told this before but I used to love it when Alex Gibbs would go out he was my offensive line coach he would go out in the hallway and absolutely mother F Mike Shanahan screaming match in the hallway and we’d be like a bunch of little giggly kids like oh my gosh our coaches kick you but like a lot of times coaches like I remember one where we’re sliding we’re sliding protection so call it two jet okay so we’re sliding to the left so it’s Tommy nen it’s me and it’s Gary Zimmerman right and we’re sliding we’ve got let’s call it a bubble look like we got a one technique over the center right so I’m dragging my hand right posting for Tommy naen but I’m kicking out and I have the will if he comes but if he doesn’t come I’m I’m helping Gary so Gary can overset a little bit right and then invite his guy back in and I’m there to clean his guy up so it’s basically double team in the nose for thousand one th000 boom kicking out to the defensive end and having Gary over kick him a little bit so he comes back inside and then I try to you know snot clobber him right but I’m responsible for the will so if the will comes what’s going to happen I’m going to take the will that DN will go outside because he has to cuz two asses don’t fit in one hole right so you take an outside you’ve already cut him off cuz now he’s got to take an outside rush if the will comes if the will doesn’t come and you overset him he’s going to come back inside because defensive players are dumb so if you invite him inside the defensive player is going to come inside and that’s when I get absolutely snot clobber do you understand how that works okay so that’s kind of the that’s kind of the scheme that’s what we’re doing when we slide to the will so Mike was like Shanahan was like okay well if the will doesn’t come but we get a corner off the edge have the guard kick all the way out to the corner and pick him up too then we don’t ever have to throw hot and Alex Gibs in the hallway going [ __ ] you we ain’t doing it like there’s no way you can do that you can’t ask my guy to have Peak here look at the dll and then kick over to the but Mike was like we could get this done and then we never have to throw the ball hot so we don’t have to throw it short so you know on third down and six if we have to throw it short they rally up make a tackle and Alex was having none of it and he was like you mother effing SE sucking do do do like you know he’s going to town and these are two Hall of Fame coaches Mike Will and Mike will be a Hall of Fame coach he he should be right now but these are two Hall of Fame coaches who are arguing can you imagine two lesser coaches and that speaks to your idea of garage lesser coach is I if it was a first time or or a newbie offensive line coach he go okay Coach we’ll get that done it’s imp listen man if I’m kicking and looking at the will right and he doesn’t come and now all a sudden my eyes have to go out to a corner who runs 4-3 and I’m an injured slow fat dude I’ve got zero chance of blocking that guy zero chance he’s going to have a 12 yard running start at my quarterback is going to hit him in the Jawbone right I I have no chance of getting that done but on a grease board it looks really it looks so good right because we never have to throw hot like we’re and and this is where bad coaching happens so you have to have you know you have to it’s like it it theoretically it’s like government like a system of checks and balances and you have to have um dissenting opinions and you have to be able to fight over what’s important and fight over some of those things and the bad coaches will just let that happen and then you know what happens to the you know what happens to bad staffs it’s rolling along in the game pretty good and all of a sudden guess what that situation comes up and it takes one time you’re in a tight game you got a three-point lead all of a sudden bam you think you can get that done you kick out to the will he doesn’t come all a sudden here comes that corner off the edge and he’s running 4-3 and you’re not and he hits that quarterback who’s standing like this that ball flops up in the air and all of a sudden somebody else Scoops it up and scores and now all a sudden you’re down by four and guess what all hell breaks loose and then you look up at the scoreboard at the end of the game and you lost by 17 and you’re like what the hell happened what the hell happened was your coaching staff is stupid and you don’t have enough people that will stand up for the players because they don’t know the problems that other players have that’s the issue so this this has been a really revealing conversation for for just me as a football fan and hopefully for everybody watching because the importance of good coaching and how much to your word garbage coaching there is out there then should we look at the failure of quarterbacks differently so for example basically out of every five quarterbacks to get drafted high up in the first round four of them fail yeah okay there there’s basically like 75 to 80% bust rate with these quarterbacks bust meaning they may go on Jared G may go on and play really well for Detroit sure Baker Mayfield whatever but like don’t but don’t get me Baker Mayfield figured out how’s Cleveland feel about it right Jared golf man what a great how does how does La feel about exactly so I don’t think I’m overreaching in saying that basically these quarterbacks bust 70 to 80% of the time yeah all right let’s just accept that number then out of that 70 to 80% of quarterbacks who bust how much of that is due to they just got bad coaching and if they had gotten better coaching had been in a better fit they wouldn’t have busted what what what percentage of that 80% who bust what percent of that is just due to yeah had they just had a better fit and better coaching they they would have been really good quarterbacks yeah how much you blame them on that I you know maybe it goes to two of five it’s still hard playing in the NFL is hard and there is a lot you have to have a lot of knowledge um you know you can get away in college with just being a better athlete than the guy across from you and a lot of guys do a lot of guys have great college careers and great college success and Hall of Fame college careers they get in the NFL and they’re not worth to score to piss um and and I think a lot of that has to do just be like let me be very careful in in saying this because not processing quickly has nothing to do with intelligence it’s not if you’re smart it is it is like a god it processing is a god-given ability like strength or speed the hand of God reaches down says bam you’re going to run a four three you know like you can’t take pride in that you can work hard and you can go from a you know you can go from a a a 440 to a 438 through hard work and everything else and understanding but the hand of God blessed you with the ability you don’t go from a 52 to a 43 because you worked hard right right that doesn’t happen so that that’s a that’s a hand of God we’ve all been given different gifts and that’s a hand of God thing and processing is very much that way you know you and I are in the radio business and it’s always interesting to me because you and I are are very much we we we have kind of the same process of the way we think and sometimes the producer will come up and say hey man this guy wrote this incredible article let’s get this writer on and you are always the saying wo have you heard him on the radio have you heard him talk and sometimes the guys that are great on the page the best writers you have ever seen or ever read they’re awesome in print they get on the radio and they are a they are the worst Dreadful cannot string a sentence together it is unbelievable how many times that happens and and so your ability to process it doesn’t mean the writer’s not intelligent The Writer’s incredibly intelligent they just don’t they just don’t articulate well that’s how I I have like your ability to articulate the play you know your ability to go out there and do it in live time um so it is important and not everybody does it and it’s not painfully obvious so when Tom Brady talks about it oh here you go we come full circle I mean I’ll listen to you when you say it but come on it it’s it’s Tom freaking Brady it’s it’s pton Manning the week before because you’re you’re you’re you just you just spent 25 eloquent minutes eloquent I just said you mark were eloquent which is the best compliment I’ve ever given you is uh it you’ve Fallen youve made a case of it but let’s say let’s face it if if Tom Brady or P Manning come out and talk about it it resonates a little bit more that’s all I’m saying yeah because what you’re saying isn’t obvious you’ve talked about for the last 20 minutes how not every quarterback has it sure so when a guy like Brady comes out and says this is what I think is most important you know I’ll give I’ll give you a for and again I don’t know’s handsome yeah I don’t gosh is he handsome um I don’t know what the I don’t know what the like the like what the percentage would be if you all went into good situations but think about Jake plumber you know is is a beloved here at Denver Bronco and and guys love playing with Jake plumber but think of his Arizona career and like he’s what the one of the winningest quarterbacks in Denver Bronco history after Elway and Manning and Manning he’s third win the third winningest quter and what was he in Arizona I mean he was an athlete playing quarterback and so like the impact great coaching can have on your career um I you know it just is it’s amazing when you think about it but no I I get like I get you’ve been duped like the rest of the fans to believe the quarterbacks are the more oh my gosh you know like oh there’s how do they do it how does a quarterback do it oh if the safety plays High throw it short if the safety plays short throw it deep oh they’re so smart I know you’ve Fallen victim the quarterbacks are the only smart guys out there but uh I’m picking up on no y whatsoever any en not jealousy it’s just the fact it’s just the fact that you’re swinging on the Tek the Tek yes what’s the T the Brady TK what’s the Brady TK taint hammock that you’re just in there it’s like oh it’s so so humid down here oh my it feels like it’s relaxed my joints as you’re swinging around what are these folks you’re getting a glimpse into our radio show every day which is all right awesome one last thing for Brady he did say this he was emphatic in saying Hey listen you know what Kansas City’s done the last two years is amazing yeah he said winning back-to-back championships he just made me want to vomit I’m sorry but he was asked because he was asked about the idea of Kansas City three peating he’s like man he goes maybe they could but man I mean it I mean it’s hard enough to repeat it’s hard enough to win right never mind two it’s never been done three in a row can I just look right into this which camera this camera Look chief fan Chief Kingdom you’re awesome Mahomes you’re awesome you are not going to win a third straight Super Bowl it’s not going to happen it’s never happen you think in today’s NFL with everything that’s in play to try to drive top teams down there’s no way they win three in a row so the question then is who comes out of the AFC because it’s not going to be Kansas City it’s just it’s just not they’re good they’re not that good okay they’re not gonna win three in a row so who’s going to come out of the AFC I hope they don’t win three three in a row um boy this could come back to really haunt me but I don’t think I don’t think it will it could he’s Brady is right it’s hard enough to win one in a row let alone two in a row and it’s why there’s only what six seven teams that have won two right right um three in a row obviously unprecedent obviously it’s not going to happen let’s hope not um if if you like it’s either somebody in the N NFC why when they get to the Super Bowl beats them right or they don’t get there and let’s say they don’t get there okay it would be it’ either be Cincinnati okay I’m with you we haven’t seen Lamar have great success in Baltimore but they’re a big physical football team that that can and it could beat Kansas City um and then the one that I think you’re discounting because they’ve lost some people is Buffalo and lost a lot I think if you look at Buffalo’s playoff losses to Kansas City it’s it’s more a Scarlet Letter on that coaching staff than it is on the players I think the coaching staff has panicked from not mortar kicking and making you know making Kansas City return it to be able to you know to be able to save that time on the clock all that to to um to even last year dominating in that game and then Kansas City starts making a little bit of a run like they always do in the second half and completely panicking and going here Josh Allen go win the game for us right like I thought they were running the ball they were dominating line of scrimmage they were doing things that had they continued that not only would they have eaten clock doing that but they would have continued to put the pressure on Kansas City and instead I thought the coaching staff panicked and so I still think Buffalo is a team that that has the makeup to to maybe represent the AFC in uh in the Super Bowl Cleveland because they they seem to have all the pieces there they did a lot last year with like nine different quarterbacks yeah right five quarterbacks or something started but if they’re going to be special deshun Watson has to get it back he has to recapture what’s lost do you see that happening cuz that’s a good team yeah that’s a really good team I just don’t he’s not the same guy can’t get it back I mean he could theoretically he could but but he hasn’t and odds that he does goes back odds that DeShaun Watson goes back to being the quarterback we watched in Houston when he was arguably a top five right top three quarterback in the league I that Happ if you said hey 5050 you you go 50 do you go over or like I would go under I’d go like 30% 30% wow well he’s gotten back he hasn’t got it back in several years not only that man he had he have all the legal issues but he had injury issues too he had the shoulder he’s had you know I mean multiple injuries so yeah I’m I’m going to say I’m going to say I’ll be more shocked if he plays exceptionally well um that that would be more shocking to me than him playing poorly okay what’s again the face I make when I Brady I’m not disgusting I’m not alone am I it was you know who you are it was it was I’ve made that face many times so uh for everybody involved in the S truth podcast we appreciate you guys for watching for Mike I’m mark thank you so much and we back back with you guys next week hey for everybody involved in 1. Underrated. I'd love to see former teammate S Sharpe come on, or you on his platform to get this podcast a jump!

  2. Let’s be honest anything Brady says will be taken as gospel even if it’s been said already 1000 times 😂

  3. I think the reason why coaching sucks. Because all you need to be is someone's son. In football it's not what you know it's who you know

  4. Stink and his body keep buying every single time in every Broncos QB prospect 😂😂😂 from Brock Oisweler, Drew 🔒, Russell Wilson and now Bo Nix 🤦🏻

  5. Spatial intelligence is the most overlooked natural ability in professional sports. A guy like Nikola Jokic can be the best player in the NBA without being the most athletic because of his spatial intelligence which helps him make sky hook shots off the backboard and throw no look passes.

  6. Speaking of the Chiefs, the margins are of course always slim in the postseason and to me it does seem as if poor officiating has helped them a number of times. Specifically their offensive line and this is where your perspective would really interest me: In the most recent Super Bowl, almost every other passing down by the Chiefs had an uncalled foul by the o-line, mostly either holding or illegal formations (tackle lining up too far off the line). You mentioned the "13 seconds"-game, but most plays of the two scoring drives the Chiefs had in the final two minutes, featured an uncalled foul, mostly illegal formations. What do you make of these things? Do you think it matters? Why do you think the league is not cracking down on this?

  7. Stink, learning so much from you. And Eric Bienemy as "coach" really hurt Sam Howell's development just what you described, EB was garbage!

  8. My favorite first things first guest, I love how scared Nick Wright is of you and you make his ego manageable. You and Mangini

  9. I’m so sick of hearing about Tom Brady the cheater is retired let’s talk about the man that actually has deserved the right to be talked about and that is the true GOAT PATRICK MAHOMES PERIOD END OFF CONSERVATION THANKYOU.

  10. Love this podcast…. A few things I’d point out… A. If you are not bringing in 25-30 new players (draft picks, UDFA or practice squad) every year then you’re failing. B. 80/20 rule is real. Your team should have 3 players making 80% of your real money and everyone else is either cheap labor or a business decision. Look at the Chiefs, Mahomes, Kelce, Jones… everyone is a business decision; LSnead, Tyreek etc. C. People talk about 4-5 gtd years with rookies; you only get 18 months of real low cost labor before you have to start thinking of making that decision. With that said you better start playing that QB early. Only thing worse than getting that QB pick wrong is thinking you got it right and paying them…. Tua, Daniel Jones… I’m looking at you.

  11. Regarding coaching I don’t want the genius x & os guy I want the guy who can bring in and recruit the best staff. Show me who you can get and show me who you can lead and is willing to follow you. Bill Walsh would do a thing where he’d criticize the player through the coach. Parcells was a master motivator. I think some coaches start that way and then start to drink their own kool aid.
