all righty Joel great play in these two days right up there into the weekend what what’s been clicking uh puted well this week um hit it well kind of done everything well but um yeah just kind of sticking with my process doing the same thing over and over again and um over two days it adds up pretty nicely not to ask for Secrets but what are a couple things in your process that have been you’ve been feeling good about that have helped you this week uh more visualization pre-shot U worked hard on that recently um being just very committed to what I’m doing like having a clear plan which sounds weird that I’ve played golf a long time without a clear plan maybe um but yeah it’s it’s it’s doing the same thing over and over again and um it’s worked out great when did you you so this is the clearest plan you’ve had in a while would you say or yeah it’s I mean everyone has a plan right you aim you get a number and you aim and you do this but it’s like uh just a little bit more indepth um more conversation with Gino pre-shot um not wondering getting into the shot or halfway through a swing wondering what I’m doing um uh Harry higs talked about it a lot the last two weeks he’s uh and it’s kind of the same thing really uh and then you accept where it goes and you go and you do it again um and it just freesed me up to to play golf and um let my body take over and it my body knows what to do if I just kind of stay out of the way and mentioning Harry higs obviously couple great weeks on the corn fairy tour and you’re you’ve been close with him is has that been kind of cool and inspiring him having kind of gone through some struggles and now totally I mean it’s been a couple years of really bad golf for him um I’ve watched him on the Range I’ve stayed with him in houses um you know you you always want your buddies to play well and uh he’s figured out what works for him and it it wasn’t it wasn’t a matter of if he was coming back it was just a matter of win and um to see it kind of go back to back and um you know Harry’s one of the best players in the world and and he’s showing it and um pretty cool that he he’ll be back out here again next year the 10 years since your great season on Canada player of the year when you come back to Canada do you have the chance to reflect a little bit on what that year was like yeah I haven’t played this event in like five years and I felt I came here on Tuesday and I just kind of had great Vibes again and I I almost felt bad I hadn’t been back I mean that the schedule didn’t work out uh previously and um it is it’s a really special place not even just the golf I had but I still have like most of my best friends are from the Canadian tour uh we’re still in a group chat we still text all the time I still talk to him still see them so more of that it’s just like oh I’ve kind of been in these parts and um the memories off the golf course are just as good as as the ones on who’s a couple of those friends that you will strickler who uh saw in Dallas um kraton hanik Micah Burke Brandon Harkins is still on the corn fery um Shan Shahi uh it’s just a really good true of dudes we’ve all grown up we all have kids now it’s it’s very different when we get together than it used to be but uh we still have a great time and um yeah just man a lot of great times up here how did that tour help you kind of keep your career going yeah I mean it it was everything to me it I didn’t know anything when I came up here as was 22 years old traveling around I didn’t know how to I didn’t know how to travel I didn’t know how to play a real golf course I didn’t know you know never really played with a cut before like all those things so I mean it took me 5 years to figure it out to to get off the off the you know uh from from playing up here but um yeah it’s I mean between that and the corn fairy tour like it’s just it’s it’s really cool and in terms of this weekend like you said you’ve been here before you know what’s it like knowing that you have put yourself in position to be one of those final couple groups you’ll be you know have a late afternoon tea time tomorrow yeah real late I just heard it’s going be like 3:00 tomorrow uh the last time I had one of those was US Open so uh that’s that’s a good thing right um we’ve talked about this we’ve prepared for this uh I believe I should be here um it’s where I’m supposed to be so uh I’m excited to hit golf shots done with a gun on the weekend I Haven done that in a long time so I’m excited for that awesome yeah thanks Jo you got appreciate it
