be require [Music] 134 well this a break opportunity just what Rob would be hoping to get done early in a match 94 Adam you require 146 well decent from cross the opening leg of this year’s tournament leaving 40 after 12 Adam had different ideas there he got the first treble needed not the second 9 got a hope now for Rob to miss to get a chance of 48 but Rob probably means some business here straight in first start Rob cross the USA and Canada and the opportunity here we’ve got the North American Championship on on Saturday afternoon of course the winner could go to the world championship with the Grand Slam good stuff from savann to put pressure on Cross but what a response from cross double 10 is the American going to get a go that’s that was a not helpful first attempted double just too far away to easily kind of slide in next to it and this is a great answer to losing to throw the first leg second leg coolly executes that thir leg Adam to throw first oh listen to that noise and it will get louder as the night goes on as the weekend goes on and then straight into the treble and unlucky not to have a maximum there Adams made sure that he needs to go for it as well it’s a setup visit could leave 36 he doesn’t produce another 134 but he still being fairly happy now as an attacker this is a lot to ask to hold throw must get a trouble 19 now yes so bullseye 89 you won’t be happy with that I think require 74 in Adrenaline overdose I think there with that last D One D then for Rob cross at 18 He loves 18 he leaves 2-1 all the way through this opening night you can be certain of that [Applause] 95 Adam you 99 trouble by you would think yeah sometimes go for top top top tops 79 that was wellth the yeah I also like the 19s on 99 cuz you can if not tops tops you go trible 16 double 16 you got two good choices off the back of that one dart at Double now for Rob cross for 4-1 no mistake at all and he’s looks so composed on those key one d double situations Rob cross looking at his best as he often has this [Applause] year 96 Adam ire 114 unlucky [Applause] 122 this could wrap it up a it could wrap it up on double seven brilliant from Rod cross a fantastic performance yeah fifth place finish for two years running now for Nathan got p by Johnny a couple of years ago in that and uh so it it is feels bitter it will there be a bitter feeling in there about not quite being good enough or getting the job done and the best way to fix it is make it right now have a big moment here in New York City or somewhere in the near future as well you know obviously he’s got the defense of the match play coming up quite soon and that’s going to make him feel better just thinking about that I don’t make him feel better better too double 16 t plus finish to kick things off from the ask one n with a break of throw 140 gets a look yeah but this is under pressure due to that wonderful setup of aseno to say listen mate I’m going to take this 130 and be up 3 with the throw can he execute the plan no he can’t chance evaporates immediately 75 St you requireed 20 first ass at Double for Stow [Applause] buns all three missed and that be 55 yeah there’s a lot of consequences if Nathan takes this he on the third leg three legs on the spin two against the darts all finished in five visits to the [Applause] board we try to use the 25 or ball there which made a lot of sense and when you printed out a massive cardboard cut out of sow Bun’s face you’d be hoping youd get to use it for more than six legs I would have thought there’d be more color in it though [Applause] 86 St 141 19 Double 12 how about that Stow bucks 141 check out to catapult the neon nightmare into this game and indeed there is more color in his face now and these fans won’t let him down either any chance to support the the chant they’re going to give it tell you what if somehow he doesn’t finish this off he might become concern not going to finish off in his visit cuz he’s missed the big 18 well it’s kind of open the door to can you imagine now if sto can manage a maximum what the crowd might do to help him out even a ton might be enough he switches it’s Brave I like I like it you know leave leave a threat he’s threatened Asal now but likely to end here and does end here Nathan Aspen kicks off his us darts Masters campaign with a 6-2 win against Stow bump he’s grabed himself six starts at 142 here ideally take it out but Paramount he makes the setup good options here for Spellman brilliant D from Spellman what a shot this would be he just goes inside but it doesn’t matter he’s going to come back and Peter right being left high and dry on his darts just imagine the noise that Spelman had taken out that 83 it’ll still be pretty loud if he Nails D eight waiting on 93 like he was in the previous leg will it be the same same outcome no this time he gets a look how key could that passenger play four, and doubl for the break a throw for Spellman mive in the context of this game in a Range to six 21 scored 22 left so Spelman will come back looking at Double four for a big blow four downs already he gets there he deserves the breaker throw and Spellman strikes the first blow he breaks the Peter right throw thr first good start for American here and it’s early pressure on Peter to come against David Cameron and it’s David Cameron that Spellman will play in the North American Championship being played here on Saturday afternoon winner goes to Ali P mat Campbell aside he has a t c so he cannot he can win the event of course but it wouldn’t get him a place in the world championship [Applause] fall well just when he he needed it the radar is got a a Ry hasn’t it for Spellman brilliant from right didn’t even look at the travel didn’t even look at the travel tops tops two two game credit to Peter right and wins have been hard to come by and you drop thr early go into your shell a little bit but that was a confident shot the tops tops a little bit more on the World Series Road Show winning here these are these are competitors aren’t they want to get one over each other and 16 run of world series events we go to Copenhagen then to to Poland the week after it’s the busy period for the players if they can kickart with a win here newest darts Masters lead to bigger and better things re 150 [Applause] wow game in the six round fig he made a terrible m in the last to throw first taking out 87 and then nails down a brilliant 150 he’s not gone to plan the last 8 must be well documented we spoke about it here when you’re not on formed you can just find a way to win yeah but six starts from Spellman without a big trouble SW good from [Applause] Peter Well it may be academic this 126 Lev 12 require once more looks a good guide better to use it you’ve gone the wrong way this is Big Score he’s a bit unlucky there Peter R but it offers the opportunity to Spellman to lead again he led to one this is for 4-3 and a breaker throw a key time in the match one more for Spelman and he can’t convert P require 24 well this is the biggest moment the biggest leg of the match this is the biggest D of the match so far it took him six but he get there in the end required [Applause] 90 they look the double double he did he wasn’t far away 54 he Tak down 150 have to take out this to stay in the tournament 106 coming in options treble 18 likely he can’t find it Peter right with three in hand saw he made a real meal of double 12 in the previous got over the line6 this is huge for Peter right to got one away from the quarterfinals he is one away his best leg of the match a 13 dat a key time keeps him in the mix he’ll hope is a busy day tomorrow closes out first though still a bit to do certainly a missed opportunity for Alex Felman [Applause] 8 so far that’s what would frustrate Alex when it’s not as if Peter right been at his best and dictated the game there’s been opportunity and plenty of them 95 27% on the dou for Spellman it’s been costly [Applause] he needs the Ball Game shot a shot from Spelman what a shot what a finished 67 he’s back back in there he took out 150 earlier well Madison Square Garden goes mad for big Alex Spelman what an opportunity he has there there’s no need to bring the ball into play is there meant at the end of the combination be careful here Alex got to focus has it keep that concentration level up leave it handy yep 81 really well done after that first that just took a step back and that was the minimum requirement he knew he had a couple of visits at the one two1 leave a double if he converts as we go to the side leg he arriv without the doubts he L [Applause] 53 a awward but the story of the match he missed four DS to win like three missed D to win leg seven he’s missed Dan to win that leg but he’s taken out 150 and 167 in between Paul D from Peter right needs to find a treble now what a double oh what a shot this would be and Peter R had a match that he almost salvaged the situation there after the Wayward first start more opportunities for Spellman to send us all the way a fantastic driver here at Madison Square Garden another chance gone not that one he won leg two on double five he’s won this one on double five Peter right F the match all theun of the fair and we have a deciding L fantastic drama just what we wanted on the opening night right digging deep deep deep this is brilliant second TR what can Spellman do from here right on a two D Spellman needs to find a treble leave 100 he may end up going tops tops 100 100 play requ 104 for the M doesn’t find the treble but he does he’s had a matched out already and he only needs one more there’s releas for Peter right he gets over the line in the end he will head to the quarterfinals Spellman there was moment of Brilliance in there a 150 and a 167 doin looking for the first Max and finding the first max keeps him an opportunity against the darts price will sco back himself here to lay it up pretty well let’s go for the ball5 outside chance for an early break 140 got to be perfect here though [Applause] and it’s not problem 75 going 117 Jules vong really he’s a bit stop start can be explosive price finds the opening leg and uh a big reaction early in this last 16 side just a hold a throw but you can see what it means to get him in priz 15 th he’s off and running [Applause] oh this is very very ominous for Jules andom as GN price is on a 10 D feel the worst here it’s only the second leg this is some start from GN price and we we saw what happened Adam Sur and St bus not keeping in touch early and allowing their opponents to run away there’s some good finishing in those games from Rob cross and Nathan price want to miss inside if he’s going to miss score miss the opportunity for 10 out leg won’t be overly concerned the fact he’s left them all outside he’s gambled there could have brought the balls eye into Play Misses the 20 segment entirely anyway and G price tied is up for a 13 d and a 2-n lead break of throw for the Iceman and not ideal for go in price but he’s going to get a look at the 86 for a 3-0 lead van dongan just needs to apply pressure is he he’s going to leave double one is he going for it Madison Square Gordon wants it Jules van dongan doesn’t quite deliver6 price doesn’t take the 86 be a blessing that yes I know he’s got to lose a there but double w never ideal 61 and he does get the opportunity joia require 42 dou 16 to break straight back Jules van J the throw first slightly concerned with bong coming into that leg but a good leg and showing a bit of confidence involving himself in the crowd and requ one open up the two leg cushion again here for Price brilliant first start got to work his way down can’t quite f the top van to level up here took out 117 in the opening leg get the tops there just going to be one if he stays in the 14 Bullseye for two a piece 47 away none of those dots are really where he was hoping to put him go right having all sorts of bother when he pinned that t plus finish in the very first leg looked like it could be very good sign to the ican but since then it’s only one out of 10 on the doubles invting problems here price just a bit of a mess the required sure that with the rout from inside on 14 dou seven no one’s favorite but he may get another goal what he does it prize eventually gets over the line 21 D breaker throw but restores that two leg cushion even leave a finish require 92 double 16 to win [Applause] it 76 not just yeah but it is coming Jules vong will be disappointed with his performance he’s afforded price of luxury in this leg as well and could be repeat of last year’s score line price beating vong and 62 at this stage last year same here he’s had match starts already he’s going to need a few more Jes require 119 five missed by the Welsh number one trouble 20 in tops it’s on for 5-3 Jules van dongan isn’t out of this just yet theth leg go smile from Van dongan just keeps his slim hopes alive pry is all focused he’s not dwelling on the previous leg he’d be boiling inside he should be off the [Applause] stage hang about this game might be changing Jules van dongan is roaring and he is closing this Gap much needed from priz he’s invited problems here getn price still a big ass for Van dong sply acknowledged well he found a 119 in the previous leg to stay in it he may need to find this one [Applause] 121 treble 17 doesn’t Find the Mark 41 five match starts missed already by the nice man should get one more but he is only one and he takes his chance go price beats Jules van dongan for the second year running at the US darts Masters and very quick player and as I said Michael will be allowed to get on with his game and if he gets on his game that’s going to be hard to deal with thises the tops 161 seem some big finishing tonight from Americans 167 150 B 41 97 that go in here looking tops for the [Applause] opener now that what a chance here for 64 theow against a defending champ brilliant double four yeah very pleased with that second gets the crowd going now and I think it’s quite beneficial to smother Michael vanwin early if you can because it looked for quite a bit there as if mvg was enjoying the the pace enjoying the proceedings Danny on the other hand rhythmic good strike back to lead double 10 pressure on V the level [Applause] up 64 D will it be punished again well double seven that is a single six you don’t mind when it’s a double six cuz it you just go up for double four it’s quite natural but this is awkward cuz you don’t want to bust that first start or not bus but take yourself off the double Michael you require 40 well still we open think leg D lby the chances to go too clear that’s about right one a PA on throw both missing chances we’re back on track thing is yeah I think Michael Van Gerwin has done a lot for bringing the game around the the globe and is tremendously well known by people outside of darts as well as in [Applause] he played a massive pass 60 Michael U 92 brilliant to lead Double 12 that’s more like it from for 31 [Applause] 160 100 and he require 107 [Applause] CH 87 that looking to make it five on the [Applause] spin the doesn’t matter where squeeze it in the corner they all count the same job darts Most Wanted as far as all the publicity is concerned and the positive of all that is it allows him just to get on with the job of trying to win correct that’s exactly what he’s going to do here 57 24 he can adjust from that well he does and Michael vanwin easily puts away Danny Lobby who really never got going fully to the races 2023 would have been the wise choice first Maximum and it comes from the world number one leaves himself an orca 25 I always like that especially early in a match establish some rapport with the your audience which you are going to assume even though you’re playing Canadian you’re going to assume they’re for the Canadian here even double four tid is up that 25 with very little bother for a 15 D breaker thr to start with got both in the next two in got to fill it up to leave a finish but he’s done exactly that and David Cameron has gone from being in charge of the leg now being under a bit of pressure Cameron yeah he hit a 140 now he has to take it out 60 L 142 what’s the route lots of options those conventional does bring the ballseye into play eventually could have done it in Dart two now David Cameron 80 [Applause] required only the one Dart had a lot of practice in the last leg at it over compensated under through 3 with a double break and once again we’re seeing one of the PDC Stars race off into an early lead it’s going Comm theme unfortunately for him it was some of the small opportunities he missed that maybe cost him the match in the end’s not going to take this yeah Spellman certainly got closer than anybody else but he probably walking away thinking I could easily have won that game oh he would be thinking that there was some opportunities that were passed on and wait carry on on his returns for another break David CER is getting nowhere near the bullseye in this game L com his pins dou 16 once more it is 5 n he is throwing for a white wash Victory last year’s semi-finalist Miss darts for the final last year here Luke [Applause] humpr oh the set up it’s another tactical use of the 180 could have come down from the 19s but he feels he had the mark darts it leaves him single to double and it will give him two darts for a 6 nil whitewash win 140 29 better hit it because DAV has left himself poised and hit it he does it is our first White Wash of the night this man has just been magnificent and he makes it look so very very easy what a bab here EUR wi Pro Tour win tops the Premier League table then goes and wins the playoffs of a nine D in that final and he kicks things off here with an 11 D breaker throw and he made it look so easy turned out to be a a nightmare year so far we got time to turn it around 41 started off with an 11 Dart breaker throw he’s teing up a 10 D break here averaging over 115 poor isn’t it poor from ller good guide [Applause] game playing I was playing stuff at home and not playing local League stuff this gentleman is performing in Madison Square G and out to 25 not the ball L to entertained as well doesn’t he the audacity before of going for 20 ball ball leing 12 he done before with success and he’s good at engaging with the crowd as well isn’t he even the The Cauldron of Liverpool Premier Leagues he makes it 5 n he just laugh it off he’s not patching we’ve seen players in the past when they get involved in the crowd he just deals with every sort of scenario really well and he’s doing the same here and he’s cruising to a place in the quarterfinals going to do one here but this is some display averaging up towards 106 love watching him playark he needed 185 so he hits a 180 because he can to leave to leave by [Applause] crumble one score going say threw his Dart to the table there pick him back up M he’s shaking his head he’s a little disappointed with what Luke’s done we’ve seen this from P treko he’s taken out the leg how he wants you’ve got to compete you’ve got to be there if you stay in touch it’s going to be hard he goes another way but this to finish it off game the performance 104 average and Luke ller was absolutely outstanding they’re doing it it takes a toll it’s difficult to do this could be a pivotal weekend he repeats what he did last year he’ll get into the world series of darts finals if he wins a North American championships going to Ali p and then there’s a grand Grandam spot all of a sudden there’s three major events that could generate some well earned funds that he could maybe pursue the tour again because as Ren and that can get expensive traveling back and two4 probably that’s his plan at a minute a couple of years get himself a playing well then commit again he’s committing early here that’s a twoleg lead Michael Smith has got a lot to ponder here early won the title here two years ago but lost first round last year to Jim long and he’s in a spot to bother early here that’s a loose start Smith it makes the next shot a lot more difficult and I think that probably informed Michael Smith’s decision to go for the bullseye second Dart there could have gone treble 14 141 going the bullseye he’s left himself three clear darts at Double which he will get now one five ask a question three and hand for Michael Smith to register his first leg is he going to get near last 10 and he can’t find the double in a double that Jeff Smith is so comfortable and he proved it in the previous leg this for [Applause] 3-0 it is 3-0 uses the guide really well and Michael Smith missed a trip there allowing Jeff Smith to hold in 20 DS gets him down to a finish and if Jeff Smith doesn’t lay up well here looks like he’s going to oh sensible sens play going the bullseye second guard allowing him to react whether it 25 or a ball the 138 won’t go Jeff Smith does get a chance he is three out of four on the double so far Jeff Smith it’s only going to be one just about from the 20 but he gets the tops and he’s enjoying himself Jeff Smith he’s fired up and he’s on the verge of causing a real stir here on day one at the US Masters it’s been plain sailing for the PDC players not in this one is it another Jeff Smith special oh hang on he could still do this trouble 17 leaves the bullseye oh it would have been filthy maybe back down to require 136 SM 18 DS on 136 and it ain’t going to go Jeff smiths in Dreamland here 25 for a 51 lead and it would allow him to throw to cap off a fine display got to get rid of this and he does and he’s in a commanding position Michael Smith looking at backto back first round exits at the US darts Masters Jim long last year and Jeff Smith has G him right where he wants him this year 136 for a huge victory for Jeff he not coming in this visit 58 Michael Smith cannot afford to let Jeff Smith have a look at that 78 but he’s going to because immediately the chance disappears what an opportunity of Jeff Smith he never envis this never beaten Michael Smith in his career what a moment to do it for the first time to turn the tables for the night and a first North American winner match start missed by Jeff Smith heads in hands at Madison Square Garden will he get more chances in this leg Michael to stay in hard to score just double checking options here double turn and you just never felt it was going to go and more opportunities for Jeff Smith requ this game started badly for Michael Smith it just got worse cuz Jeff Smith has missed very very little at the back end of legs and he does not miss there Michael Smith knocked out in round one for the second year running at Madison Square Garden

  1. Not commending Campbell, but for all you know he could’ve shook Lukes hand after he put his darts away. Luke has done that MANY a time to other players. If you guys don’t watch darts and understand the history, don’t comment. You sound like chavs. Campbell was the most gracious to Littler when he got beat by him in the Worlds. Calm down and get back to your 9-5’s.

  2. What is wrong with Americans ? Americans simply cannot produce top 10 dart player that could successfully, and consistently, compete on the highest level

  3. Littler is unreal he could very well destroy taylors record if he plays untilll about 40 no question nothing thete too get near him

  4. I don't mean to stereotype but unsurprisingly the American players are all over weight and wearing loud clothing lol

  5. Luke mesmerises me. His match is the only one I look forward to when watching the darts. I’m bored with the other players apart from Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall. 😇

  6. "He should let his son win!" ref to my mother watching darts for the first time during "Smith vs Smith". Bless her LOOOOOOOOOL

  7. Campbell spat dummy out there😂😂😂
    😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
