Ryan great playing tied for the lead into the third round of the Canadian open what’s been clicking for you so far this week to be honest everything has um you I dri it great I hit my really good and had a few more putts dropped today it could have been like really silly but I still had a lot of good putts and um you if You’ given me 64 to start the day I certainly would have taken it is there anything about this course that you liked from the get-go and what had your experience been with I guess Canada into this week um I this is my first time playing in Canada in about 12 years I played Canadian amateur in a New Zealand team event here uh like 2011 I think so it’s been a while and I enjoyed my time there that long ago so I’ve enjoyed my time so far Golf Course kind of Suits my eye um kind similar grass to what we play at home and you know similar kind of old style Treeline golf course which which is what I grow up on and um yeah I just hopefully I can keep it rolling over the weekend like that you mentioned in an interview a couple weeks ago that you felt like your game turned a corner at the Masters do you still feel like you’re on that kind of run and what in your game helped you turn that corner um yeah before the Masters I was really struggling wasn’t hitting it great um you sort of I generally hit a cut and I’m standing there and I could miss it left and right which is not a great feeling and the Masters was the first week I kind of had felt like I had some control again um took a while to kind of put the scores together but um certainly been feeling a lot better about my golf game since then and you know the last few weeks T Green’s been really good I just kind of haven’t put it all together and um you know so far through two days everything’s kind of worked really well um you as I said hopefully I can keep it rolling on the weekend but you know at least I know the game’s there and there’s still a fair bit of golf to be played this year so it’s nice to at least have a chance over the weekend you’ll be in the final group with Robert McIntyre I know you guys know each other a little bit what’s your friendship like with him yeah I mean I’m not Bob since he got on tour a few years ago and um he’s a great kid we we get along really well um you know played together a bunch times in Europe played together the first two days at Myrtle Beach this year and you know we both went pretty well there so hopefully we can have a bit of fun tomorrow and feed off each other and be in that final group again on Sunday he mentioned that you helped him with some logistical issues into this week yeah um we both had P1 Visa issues and um I got mine in Ottawa the week after the Masters and sort of passed on the contact details that that I the people we used and I think he went and got it either this week or last week and said it was really easy so glad to help a uh a fellow DP World Tour member out and um yeah I’m looking forward to playing with him tomorrow it’s should be good fun thanks
